That night, Zoey and Glameow stayed up late, keeping watch for any suspicious activity. It was 11:58pm, and the coordinator and her Pokémon went up to the bedroom...
Zoey: Glameow, is there something that happens at this time in this place?
Glameow shrugs. It was 11:59pm, and they started hearing noises behind the closet door...
Zoey: I hear something in the closet. Get ready to attack!
They waited patiently, in fight mode, ready for whats about to happen.
When the clock said 12:00am, (midnight) a small noise was heard, and then the closet door opened wide... revealing there to be a live skeleton! The skeleton ran toward Zoey, but she and Glameow fought back, by punching and kicking and pouncing on it. The skeleton had a strong hold, and dragged her toward the closet. However, Zoey used a karate chop with her right hand, and hit the skeleton's right arm bone to make it let go of her. Unfortunately, the skeleton didn't give up, and fought back, scratching Zoey's left arm. But the Pokémon coordinator gave the skeleton a karate kick, sending it back deep into the closet. She closed the door, and Glameow pushed the dresser in front of it, in case it showed up again. Zoey realized that she had to take drastic action. She got out her smartphone, and sent an e-mail for a quick delivery of security equipment to be there in the morning. The next day, a delivery truck full of video cameras and other equipment came to the house. The delivery guy gave Zoey a form to sign before she received it. She and Glameow worked around the house the whole day setting the equipment up. That night, with cameras lined up in the bedroom, she tested it out.
There was a string attached to the closet's doorknob. She pulled on the rope, which opened the door, and activated the cameras...
Zoey: Now, Glameow!
She and her Pokémon then ran out of the bedroom, down the stairs, and then out of the house. Zoey raised her arms in triumph, and got down to her knees when they were outside. At that point, the Rivera family was there, and Luísa and Enrique were confused...
Enrique: Uhhh... Zoey, what's happening?
Zoey: (stammers) Oh, hi, Mr. Rivera. Nice to see you and your family out for a nice walk. (chuckles nervously)
Luisa: Did something exciting happen in there?
Zoey was flustered, because she didn't know what to do. Soon, about thinking about it, she decided to tell the Riveras what's going on...
Zoey: Okay, come inside. This is going to sound crazy, but something bizarre Is happening.
The Riveras sat on the living in the living room, and Zoey told them what she and Glameow have gone through since they've been there. while Miguel believed what Zoey had said, it was a different story for Luisa and Enrique...
Enrique: (laughs) So, you think this place is really haunted?
Zoey: Uh, yes! Take a look at this! (pulls her right arm sleeve up, revealing scratch marks on it)
Miguel looked like he was going to freak out. But while Luisa and Enrique were shocked, they remained calm.
Enrique: You really need to have a doctor check that out.
Luisa: Come to the bathroom. I'll clean that up.
Zoey and Luisa went upstairs to the bathroom, and after Luísa fixed Zoey's cut by washing it, putting peroxide on it, and then bandaged it up, they came back down.
Luisa: Her cut wasn't too bad.
Miguel: Mami, Papi, I saw a whirlpool come up and grab dawn. And there was no foul play in Mrs. Abiko's death despite alcohol being present. Plus, I have seen live skeletons before. I think Zoey isn't lying.
At this moment, Enrique sees Zoey's number book, looks into it, sees Candace's phone number, closes it, then hides it behind his back...
Enrique: Well, Zoey, we must be going now.
Luisa: Yeah, we have to go to sleep. But let us know if you see anything else weird, okay?
Zoey: (with a confused look) Thank you. I'll let you know.
Enrique: You do that.
The Riveras left the house. Miguel was also confused as well, like Zoey. Zoey and Glameow were not alone in their living room. With what happened last night, this meant war for the girl and her Pokémon.
