Slightly troubled by the counter lady's exclamation, Shirou said "Well, I guess a Crusader me then."

" I'll register you now… Done. Welcome to the adventurer's guild, Shirou-sama! All of our staff look forward to your grand exploits!"the counter lady said with a pleasant smile.

The place was in an uproar

" A crusader !! Taat's a pretty good choice lad" a swordsman cried out " Ay if you want to learn one haded swordsmanship you can join ma party anytime that skill is pretty useful eh? "

"Oi oi don't listen to this half-baked swordsman my party has a healer and a mage"

"What was that ya basted ?!!"

"Let's drink!!"

and so on but on the bright side he got free lunch

Emiya Shirou slowly sat down on the carriage

Avalon the Everdistant Utopia of the king of knights one that bequeaths limited immortality through constant regeneration, as well as preventing physical deterioration caused by aging ,one that is still inside of him,of course it was he ended up transfered to another world before he returned it to saber.He shook himself out of such thoughts he had a work to do now

Far away in the open plains outside of a fairly large village two monsters batteled for the territory ,one a Manticore (a beast with head of human, body of lion, and the other wings of bat) and another a Griffin (a strong mythical beast with the head and wings of eagle, and body of lion)

Both were locked in mortal combat for the dominance of the territory which also included a nearby village who initially happy that the two monster were not bothering them soon started suffering from their continued fighting

They couldn't even sleep at night due to the noises

Or go out to collect herbs or graze their cattle without getting caught up in the crossfire

So for that very reason Shirou took this quest from the guild in the morning and headed there.

was standing a good four hundred metres away on a slightly higher ground as he looked at the two battling monsters

a black bow made of metal materialized into his left hand.

a drill sword came to his right grip before he knocked it to his bow and pulled the metal string, making a screeching sound.

Strangely, as she pulled the string, the sword also altered itself into an aerodynamic one.

"I am the bone of my sword."

"Caladbolg II !" he wisked as he let loose the string and the Rainbow Sword flew toward the target in a spiral motion.

It is interesting to note that Griffin make a clucking noise like a chicken when they are scared

" You did complete the mission Emiya-san but please next time try not to destroy monsters they are valuable material " the guild receptionist adviced

Shirou had unfortunately forgot about that one important rule of an adventurer, monsters were in a way valuable resource adventures were hired to kill them not completely vaporize them

On the bright side he received 200 skill points

Shirou was familiar with the stat system they used, as it was not dissimilar from the information masters got on their servants during the Holy Grail War even if here they used numbers instead of letters.

Underneath a section called 'Known skills' he found listed a number of abilities he had acquired or learned over his life were listed in simple terms without any description. magecraft, the 'Unlimited Blade Works', 'Trace', and 'Reinforcement' were clearly listed amongst other minor abilities things like 'Minor Magic Resistance', 'Swordsmanship' and 'Archery'. Curiously though, non-combat related skills were listed like 'Cooking' and 'charming'.

He tapped the learnable skills section and a list appeared while reading through he came across a few types of magic which was a little interesting since Shirou had thought it impossible for him to learn other types an-

He blinked a couple times but the words didn't disappear.

'Heal'

" What the root ?I could actually learn a healing spell? "

He knew such magecraft existed, Rin had known several types of healing magecraft, not to mention all the times It had been similar used on him. But despite his best efforts he had never been able to learn any of the spells .

The reason why was due to his element and origin of Sword. His magecraft was very narrow in scope

He had swords that could passively heal their user during battle, swords that could absorb life force and redistribute it, and swords that could even grant regeneration under the right circumstances. However every single one of them was never meant to be used to heal another person other than their original wielder. Most of these effects barely worked for him, and only because he traced them.

A swords purpose is to harm after all and he had accepted that a long time ago the only way he could save others was through fighting.

Yet he was now being offered a way to learn something I thought impossible.

Is this because of Avalon?

His hand moved and selected it and he added 50 points to it ,something clicked in his mind as his body glowed lightly.

He could feel it Avalon's power was imbued into him even if he is not it's owner her could still use it's power

Here in this world, he was closer to my dream than ever before.

Somewhere in another dimension an red Archer facepalmed

(One month later)

Shirou had begun hunting the local monsters, not just as a source of food or because they were a threat to the locals but also just to try and get a grasp on the strength he had gained. There were all sorts of strange creatures in this world labeled 'monsters' by the local citizens, despite most of them being just large animals or in inconvenient locations. He found and fought Unicorn Bunny(carnivorous rabbit monsters with sharp horns protruding from their foreheads),Zombies and Skeletons a Black Fang(A giant bear beast) Giant Bat (Vulture-sized bats that travel in flocks) and recently while investigating a local lake some large alligators.

In the end though, they were just animals and served as good targets to test his new limits.

Occasionally, he would encounter a small caravan or a group of travellers engaged with these monsters and , they would reward him (despite my protests that he had done nothing worthy of a reward)

That was how he found himself in these grassy hills looking for more toads to shoot with his bow. Their numbers had been increasing the last few days, and thus they had become his prime targets.

Suddenly, a little to the right and in the distance a bright flash caught his attention, and what was unmistakably the sound of an explosion " What was that? "

" Somebody save mmeeeeeee "

" What could have caused that? Was it some monster I was unaware off, or had someone in the area caused it? " Shirou thought" either ways some needs my help" he began running quickly in that direction.

Drawing closer he was able to make out what looks like a handful of large toads surrounding a lone figure. ,

retrace his bow he took a few quick shots with modified swords

The toads collapse, and the male in a green tracksuit pulls a young girl in some kind of elaborate robe out of one of the toad's mouths, and their third member starts wriggling free of the other.

" A tracksuit? I'm almost certain that shouldn't exist in this world, why would something like that be here? And wait, that woman that wriggled out of the other toad, isn't she? " He paused

the boy in the tracksuit collapsed to his hands and knees panting next to the facedown girl he pulled out.

"-not worth it! What kind of archmage can only cast a single spell in a day! We almost just died!" The male exclaims, obviously out of breath.

"I told you. My magic is the most powerful, so using it has completely exhausted me." Came the girl's response.

Shirou neared the party and went straight towards the blond girl and leaned to look at her. he noticed about her was that she was beautiful. It was a striking beauty that with long blonde hair with bright armor. She was obviously some kind of knight but not saber

"..that intense graze looking at me so hungrily " Darkness muttered

Huh ?

You brute now that I am defenseless and weak you thought you can violate me "

"W-what hold on a sec I-"

" Kaaazuma heellpp meeeee!!! " a few metres away Aqua cries as a frog tried to eat her

Shirou looked at that direction '...why is that toad looking straight up? Wait are those legs sticking out of it's mouths?'

Without thinking he rushed to the rescue and stabbing the frong in the skull and releasing the goddess covered in saliva began to cry loudly.

"It's ok your safe now " Shirou comferted giving her a smile

Aqua looked at him in pure horror

"? Is there so-" Shirou never got to complete the sentence as he found himself in the mouth of the frog that was behind him

" Thanks a lot you saved my life back there " Shirou thanked Kazuma

After he got nearly eaten up by a frog he and the party he saved were currently in the guild

. "Are you the ones who made that explosion?" The answer was pretty obvious, but confirmation would be useful.

" The one who caused that wondrous explosion in none other than me Megumin, most powerful arch wizard of the Crimson D-!"

I'm Satou Kazuma, this is Aqua,Darkness and Megumin.

"So the male's name was Kazuma? A Japanese name, paired with the tracksuit seemed, implies heavily he's also from Japan. I'd need to ask them about it later."

"So uh, what's your name? In all the panic back there I forgot to ask." Kazuma asked

"My name is Emiya Shirou." His eyes lit up, obviously recognizing the Japanese. Surprisingly, the blue haired goddess to my side blinked suprised "I'm no one special. I just happened to see that explosion in passing."

"Are you-"

"Hold on a sec your Archer. " Aqua yelled getting everyone's attention
