The void enveloped an entire universe. It consumed the universe entirely, wiping out any it came across. That is the fate of one unlucky survivor. Or rather, that would have been the fate of one unlucky survivor.
Misty slowly woke up, her eyes barely managing to stay open. She put her hand on her head as she stood up. Misty looked around at her new environment which appeared to be an empty alleyway.
"Where the hell am I?" she asked. "Marlton? Stuhlinger? Russman?" Misty called out to her companions Marlton, Stuhlinger, and Russman, but she got no response. Misty then heard what sounded like a car honking. She ran out of the alleyway and saw something that left her speechless. What she saw was... people. Living, breathing people. Not a zombie in sight. She looked around. Buildings towered above her, none were destroyed.
"Is this a dream?" she asked herself. She got lost in her thoughts when she suddenly heard the sound of people screaming and running away. Misty ran over to the source of the chaos. She had seen zombies, denizens, ghosts and other bizarre creatures, but what she's seeing right now utterly bewildered her.
Misty saw two people fighting each other. It looked like they were swinging from the buildings. One was wearing a red and blue costume while the other one was wearing a black costume. Misty pulled out a shotgun.
"Good thing I still have this," she thought to herself. Misty took aim, but she didn't know who to shoot. Suddenly, the one in black threw the one in red and blue into a nearby car. The one in red and blue then noticed Misty.
"What are you still doing here? You should get out of here," said the one in red and blue. Suddenly, the one in black landed near them.
"Got yourself another girlfriend, Parker?" said the one in black.
"It's not what you think, Eddie," replied Parker.
Eddie lunged at Misty, who managed to dodge. Misty began running away, with Eddie running after her. Misty fired several shots in Eddie, but they seem to have no effect. Eddie shot a projectile at Misty, trapping her in some sort of webbing. Eddie slowly approached Misty.
"You're quite feisty, girl. We like that," said Eddie. Before Eddie could get closer to Misty, Parker swooped in and kicked Eddie away. Parker ripped off the webbing that covered Misty.
"You should really get going," said Parker before turning his attention to Eddie. Misty ran away before stopping to watch from a distance.
"Now we're mad, Parker!" yelled Eddie. Before Parker and Eddie could resume their battle, four more people arrived at the battlefield. A man with a shield, a man in a metal suit, a man in a martial artist outfit and a woman in an Asian dress had come to Parker's aid. The man with the shield stepped forward.
"Give it up Venom, you're surrounded," said the man with the shield.
"We're not scared of you!" yelled Venom as he lunged at them. The man in the metal suit, the man in the martial artist outfit and the woman in the Asian dress all fired energy projectiles at Venom.
"Hadoken!"
"Kikoken!"
"Repulsor blast!" The combined energy blast sent Venom into a nearby alleyway. Venom decided to retreat into a nearby building.
"Should we go after him?" said Parker.
"You can go after him," said the woman in the Asian dress, now turning her attention to Misty. "We'll deal with this civilian." Parker went into the building Venom went to.
"You," the woman in the Asian dress called out to Misty.
"Me?" said Misty.
"Mind coming down to the station with us?" Misty, with nothing else to do, agreed to go with them.
"Alright," said Misty.
