Misty lied on her bed in her room. She thought about her friends and all the adventures they went on together. She missed them all: Marlton, Russman, even Stuhlinger. She started falling asleep when she suddenly heard a knock on the door. She went over to the door and opened it. She saw two men standing outside.
"Are you Misty?" asked one of the men.
"Yes I am," answered Misty.
"My name is Chris Redfield," said one of the men. "I'm a member of the United Nations' Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance."
"My name is Frank West," said the other man. "I'm a reporter."
"Stark told us that you come from a world filled with zombies, is that true?" asked Chris.
"Yes that is true," replied Misty.
"We've dealt with zombies ourselves," said Frank. "So we'd like to ask you some questions."
"Okay," said Misty.
"Can you describe these zombies?" asked Chris. "What are they like?"
"They all had glowing eyes," said Misty. "The color changed depending on who controlled them."
"Depending on who controlled them?" said Frank. A being controlling the zombies was not something he or Chris had heard about.
"Yeah," replied Misty. "They're created by something called 'Element 115.'"
"Element 115?" said Chris. "That's not something I've heard of."
"So did Chun-Li already tell you about the German voice inside of Stuhlinger's head?" asked Misty.
"Yeah she did," said Frank.
While Chris and Frank are conversing with Misty on the zombies, Iron Man and Captain America and the others are in a meeting, discussing what to do with Misty. They are joined by several other men and women who make up a team of heroes known as "the Avengers."
"So what do we do about our new friend?" asked Iron Man.
"First we have to find her friends," said Captain America.
"Are you sure she's not like threat like Ultron Sigma?" asked a woman in a red and blue costume.
"Don't worry, Captain Marvel," said Chun-Li. "She helped Spider-Man in their battle against Venom."
"Fury, do you have any lead on Misty's friends?" asked Captain America to a man with an eyepatch.
"I searched public records for her friends and found nothing," said Fury. "What about you, Stark?"
"Nothing on my end," replied Iron Man.
"Suppose we find her friends, what are we supposed to do with them then?" asked a woman in a black bodysuit.
"Simple, we send them back to their universe," asked a nearby man.
"That's a nice idea, Bruce," said a man with a bow and arrow. "But how do we even know if their universe still exists?"
"We can ask Doctor Strange," said a blue robot.
"I'll call him right now," said Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel picked up the nearest communicator and called Doctor Strange.
"Doctor Strange? This is Captain Marvel. We request that you be here," said Captain Marvel. In a bright flash of light, a man teleported into the meeting room.
"How can I assist you all?" asked Doctor Strange.
"We have a maiden from another universe that wound up here," explained a small knight. "Can you see if her universe is still intact?"
"I see," said Doctor Strange. "Very well. I shall use the Eye of Agamotto to see if her universe still exists." The Eye of Agamotto glowed as Doctor Strange searched for Misty's universe. Doctor Strange searched for a while, but couldn't find it. Instead, what he found was... darkness. Darkness that had been where a universe once was.
"Her universe does not exist anymore," said Doctor Strange.
"What? What do you mean?" asked Bruce.
"Her universe was swallowed by a dark force," explained Doctor Strange.
"Then... what do we do now?" asked Captain Marvel.
"Fear not; as while I was searching for her universe, I found a new one. One that was created after her universe had been destroyed," explained Doctor Strange.
"So that's where we'll bring her and her friends," said Iron Man.
"But how are we going to find her friends?" asked the woman in the black bodysuit.
"We can use the Mind Stone," said the blue robot. "Then we can use the Space Stone to open a portal to the new universe.
"I suppose we can call upon the power of the Infinity Stones once more," said Doctor Strange.
"That settles it. Carol, get the Mind Stone," ordered Captain America.
"Understood," said Captain Marvel as she fly out of the room and headed downstairs. Captain America proceeded to call Chris.
"Commander Redfield, bring Misty over to the meeting room," said Captain America. Chris and Frank escorted Misty to the meeting room. Once Misty entered the meeting room, she saw several new people.
"Um, hello," said Misty.
"I believe introductions are in order," said Iron Man.
"My name is Abigail Briarton, but you can call me 'Misty,'" said Misty.
"My name is Nick Fury," said Fury. "I'm the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D."
"My name is Bruce Banner," said Bruce.
"I'm Black Widow," said the woman in the black bodysuit.
"I'm Hawkeye," said the man with the bow and arrow.
"I am Sir Arthur," said the small knight.
"My name is Spencer," said a man with a metal arm.
"I am X," said the blue robot.
"I am Doctor Strange," said Doctor Strange. "I am the Sorcerer Supreme."
"Nice to meet you all," said Misty. "So why did you bring me here?"
"We're actually here to help you find your friends," explained Captain America.
"Really?!" said Misty.
"Yes, but unfortunately we cannot send you back to where you came from," said Captain America.
"Why is that?" asked Misty.
"The universe that you came from had been consumed by dark forces," said Doctor Strange. "Fortunately, we had found a new universe that had been created free of said dark forces."
"You mean my old universe is gone?" asked Misty.
"Indeed," said Doctor Strange. "It appears that if not for an unknown force that brought you and your friends here, you and your friends would have perished." Misty thought about what Doctor Strange had said. The thought of them being consumed by dark forces scared her greatly. Although she is a little fortunate that there is a new home for them. She began to be lost in her thoughts when she saw Captain Marvel fly into the room.
"Hey everyone, I'm back with the Mind Stone," said Captain Marvel.
"Excellent," said Captain America. "Oh by the way, Carol, this is Misty. Misty, this is Carol."
"Hi, I'm Captain Marvel," said Captain Marvel as she introduces herself to Misty. Misty waved at Captain Marvel while Captain Marvel waved back.
"Carol, give the Mind Stone to Misty," said Iron Man. Captain Marvel hands the Mind Stone over to Misty. Misty looks down at the yellow gem in her hand.
"What is this thing?" asked Misty.
"That is the Mind Stone, one of six Infinity Stones," explained Doctor Strange. "They are objects of immense power, among the greatest in the universe. Each one of them governs an aspect of the universe, this one governs the mind."
"And this is supposed to help me find my friends?" asked Misty skeptically.
"Yes," answered Iron Man. "Just think of locating your friends and the Stone will do it for you."
"Alright then. Here goes nothing," said Misty. Misty closed her eyes. As she began thinking about the location of her friends, the Mind Stone began to glow a bright, yellow light. After 20 seconds passed, Misty opened her eyes.
"Did you find them?" asked Chun-Li.
"Yes! I found them! They're here!" said Misty excitedly.
"That's great news!" said Bruce. "So where are they?"
"Okay I'll go in order of who I found first: the first one I found is Marlton. He's in an underground facility below New Metro City," explained Misty.
"The A.I. facility. Of course it'd be them who got their hands on him," said Chris angrily.
"The next one I found is Stuhlinger: he's in a castle in the capital of the country of Latveria," explained Misty. Everyone's eyes widened at the mention of Latveria.
"Hold on, did you say 'Latveria?'" asked Bruce.
"Yeah, why?" replied Misty.
"Oh nothing. It's not like it's home to one of the most deadliest bad guys on Earth," said Hawkeye sarcastically.
"Oh," said Misty, realizing why they were so shocked.
"Anyway, tell us about the last one," said Ryu.
"Alright. The last one I found is Russman: he's on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean," said Misty.
"Alright then, who wants to choose which person they go after?" asked Iron Man.
"I'll go after Marlton," said Chris.
"I'll go with you," said Frank.
"Same here," said Hawkeye.
"I'll go after Stuhlinger," said Captain Marvel.
"I'll go with you, too," said X.
"I shall go with you as well," said Arthur.
"I guess I can join you," said Spencer.
"Me, Stark, Natasha, and Chun-Li will go after Russman," said Captain America.
"What about you, Misty?" asked Chun-Li. "Who are you going after?"
"I'll go after Marlton," said Misty. Everyone headed out in the respective teams. While everyone was getting prepared, Misty began worrying about the state of her friends.
"I hope nothing bad has happened to you guys," thought Misty.
