Captain Marvel's group arrives in Latveria. They all step out of the plane and into the woods.
"So how are we going to do this?" asked Spencer.
"Simple, we go up to Doom and ask him for Stuhlinger," replied Captain Marvel.
"And if he doesn't hand him over?"
"We'll find a way." The group start making their way to Doctor Doom's castle.
'We are so screwed,' thought Spencer. The group walk for a couple of minutes until they reach the castle. Captain Marvel knocks on the door. In half a minute, someone answered the door. It was none other than the tyrant of Latveria himself, Doctor Doom. Everyone gulped in fear at the sight of him.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of having the Avengers here in Latveria?" asked Doctor Doom.
"Hello, Doctor Doom," said Captain Marvel. "We're not here for trouble. We're here because we're searching for someone for a man that's not from around here."
"A man not from around here, you say?"
"Yes," said X. "He is a friend of a woman from another reality that appeared here." Doctor Doom thought it over for a while.
"You may enter," said Doctor Doom. The group enter Doom's castle. They pass many of Doctor Doom's trinkets and things that he's collected over the years.
"You were not the only ones who came here searching for someone," stated Doctor Doom. Once they enter the main room, the group encounters four familiar faces. They were all dressed in blue bodysuits with the number 4 on it.
"The Fantastic Four?!" said Captain Marvel, surprised. The Fantastic Four; Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, the Human Torch and the Thing, turn their attention to Captain Marvel and her group.
"Carol?" said the Invisible Woman.
"Why are you all here?" asked Mister Fantastic.
"We came here looking for someone," said Spencer.
"Funny, because that's why we're here," said the Human Torch. "Captain America called us to go to Latveria in order to retrieve a person."
"Have you had any luck?" asked Arthur.
"Yep," said the Thing. "In fact, Doom was about to show us him right now." Doctor Doom snapped his fingers. Suddenly, a metal container appeared, housing a man. He was unconscious. They all looked at the man for a few seconds.
"This interloper suddenly appeared near my castle, so I've decided to examine him," said Doctor Doom.
"That's him!" said Captain Marvel. "He fits Misty's description. That's Stuhlinger!"
"Well, then, Doom. We're done here. We'll take him off your hands," said Mister Fantastic.
"Not yet, Richards," said Doctor Doom. "I wish to examine him longer." Everyone traded glances at each other. They all wanted to retrieve Stuhlinger quickly, but none of them wanted to challenge Doctor Doom's power.
"...Fine," said Captain Marvel. "But once you're done, we're getting him out of here."
"Very well," said Doctor Doom. Doctor Doom snapped his fingers again, causing Stuhlinger to disappear. Doctor Doom left the room and went downstairs, presumably to where Stuhlinger is. Everyone let out a sigh, they're relieved that they didn't have to fight Doctor Doom.
