We cut to Angel Grove industrial area where we see some Quantrons are terrorizing the people and taking whatever they deemed treasure. Leading them was Elgar, who was watching the carnage with a sadistic smile.
" Stop right there!" he heard a voice shout, turning to see the Lunar Wolf ranger.
" You have been a nuisance for long enough…ranger bastard " Elgar roared, before charging at him with a blade that looked like it made out of cards The two fighters clashed swords a bit like they were fencing at first before they moved closer for more aggressive two handed combat, entering a hack and slash phase almost like those lightsaber fights from Star Wars.
"C'mon, Merrick You can do it," Princess Shayla whispered to herself as she watched from the fountain on the Animarium, as the others continued fighting the monster, and Merrick seemed to have the upper hand until Elgar knocked the lunar wolf down, " This is where you die ranger " Elgar said, and then went to stabbed his sword into the Lunar wolf ranger, Shayla gasped in horror, she was helpless to help Merrick and the Wildforce rangers were busy with an attack, this had been co-ordinated so well to ensure Merrick was isolated. But everyone failed to see one thing
Merrick weakly pulled himself up for what seemed like the billionth time. His body was battered and bruised. His suit was torn in various spots and helmet's visor was cracked with a large chunk missing. He was sure her lung was punctured and she could tell some his bones were broken and she could taste his own blood. But still barely able to breath his limbs shaking he got up, only making it to one knee.
"Poor ranger. Why don't you just lay down and die," Elgar said. "You first," Merrick spat. "Brave words from some one at death's door. Tell me why do you let your stupid pride drive you," Elgar said. "See that's where you're wrong. Its honor, loyalty and love that drives me. I promised to fight until my last breath. That's what keeps getting me up. That's why I refuse to give in," Merrick said.
" And that's why you'll die alone" Elgar said as he prepared to strike.
"Who said he's alone " A voice said.
Shayla watched as in disbelief as a Zen Aku blocked Elgar's strike before kicking him away, Zen then turned in its female human form.
" You think a beaten and bruised power ranger and a org reject can stop me " Elgar hissed.
" But your wrong theres two rangers here " Zen said as she revealed a morpher looking like Merrick's except it was hammer head shark shaped. " Wild Access !" she said morphing into a purple hammerhead ranger. her suit looked like Alyssa's white suit except it was purple, and had the hammer head shark picture on the chest and hammer head shark details on the helmet.
The purple ranger parried Elgar's next strike, before knocking Elgar back again,
" Lets ends this " The lunar wolf ranger said switching his weapons modes and activating his finishing attack. Hammerhead ranger summoned her bow which looked like Zen Aku's crescent blade but now more hammer head shark looking, she also charged her weapon.
" You think thats going to stop me ?" Elgar said
" Just die you Robbie Rotten reject " Merrick said " lunar slash " he continued
" Tidal surge" Zen called, Zen fired her blast, Merrick swing his weapon after combining the two finishers into one devastating strike, Elgar parried the strike, however all the Quantrons were destroyed.
" This isnt over " Elgar said as he teleported away, both rangers demorphed
" I could have handled it myself " Merrivm snapped
" Yea it looked like you had it handled just now " Zen replied
" Zen" Merrick warned
"You need help, i know your strong and youve being doing this most of your life but a lone wolf isn't strong enough but itself "
Merrick sighed " You maybe be right my friend "
Zen let out a little snigger, "Something to add org?"
"Nothing uncle Merrick" Zen replied.
"This isn't a laughing matter", Merrick barked," We need to join forces"
"Excellent, Your wish is my command", Zen said
"Good ", Merrick said " then let us find the Crocodile ranger before Elgar or anyone else does"
Zen nodded, flipped her back over her shoulder,
" Why are you female?" Merrick asked
" Helps blend in if i had a human form yes?" Zen said
" Yes but why female?" Merrick said.
" That friend of your Taylor seemed to blend in the best so i copied her " Zen said " and every time you guys went out somewhere she got free stuff"
" Come on lets go " Merrick said, he then walked off, Zen Aku skipped behind him.
