Black Mountain, Chernarus
The plane was flying over the Black Mountain region in Chenarus. Duke's team which consisted of Scarlett, Snake Eyes, Beachhead, Tunnel Rat and Low Light grab their parachutes as they prepare for the Halo jump out of the plane. The plane hatch opens up and they jump out. "Yo Joe!" they all shouted before jumping. They land in the middle of a field. They take off their parachutes and grab their rifles and started the search.
"All right team, we have all this terrain to search if Carla and her team are in this area, we'll find them
"I wonder what the hell could they have been searching for?" Beachhead asked
"We know that this was a medical research mission, my guess is that they were exploring some sort of infectious disease." Said Scarlett
"What are you saying Scarlett that some infectious disease some how wiped out the population here?" Tunnel Rat asked
"It would explain why this place was abandoned." Scarlett responded
"Look everyone, it's not our job to question or speculate. We're here to find Carla." Said Duke
They continue to search through the woods, when suddenly they hear footsteps. Snake Eyes spots someone running and takes off after him. Snake Eyes catches up to the person and tackles him down and turns him over. The young man looked frightened as Snake eyes stands over him
"Please do not hurt me." The young man begged
"We're not going to hurt you." Said Duke reassuring him
"What were you running from?" Low Light asked
"I thought you were bandits." The young man responded
"Come on kid, do we look like Bandits to you?" Beachhead asked
"Yeah, don't answer that." Said Tunnel Rat
"What's your name?" Scarlett asked
"Ivan." The young man responded
"Okay Ivan, we are soldiers from America and we're looking for another American woman. So have you seen this woman?" Duke asked showing him a picture of Carla
"No, I have not." Ivan responded
"We were under the impression that place was abandoned." Said Scarlett
"Hey guys check out the kid's arsenal, he has a pistol and AK 47. "said Tunnel rat
"Where did you get this?" Low Light asked
"I found it. and I use it for protection when I search for food." Said Ivan
"How long have you been here?" Scarlett asked
Before Ivan can answer they are interrupted by sounds of gunfire, a group of bandits start shooting at them. They take cover and return fire as a firefight ensues. Bullets hit dirt and trees, but the bandits were no match for the Joes superior military training. The Joes outmaneuvered them taking them out with ease. Snake eyes spot three more bandits left, He takes out his Katana and runs towards them dodging bullets and slices them killing them.
"Is everyone okay?" Duke asked
"Yeah, we're good." Said Beachhead
"That was just as easy as killing vipers." Said Low Light
"Guys don't look now, but I don't think we're done yet." Said Tunnel Rat as he spots a hoard of zombies walking towards them.
They starting shooting at them taking some of them out, but they realized that sound of gunfire was bringing more zombies.
"We're going to run out of ammo, we better move now!" said Duke as they run through the woods.
