Chapter 13

Jess and Jimmy slept in till noon before getting up. Jess opened the drapes to the sliding glass door which led to their private beach. A finger of water from the larger beach came to their private area that was met with pink sand outside their door. A small patio with two chaise lounges and small table completed the set up.

Jess opened the door stepping onto the patio before wading into the water. It was a nice warm temperature so Jess wiggled her toes in the sand before sitting down in the water, splashing her upper body. Jimmy came to the door carrying two cups of coffee, one of which he handed to his wife.

"Thank you sweetheart," she said.

"You're welcome, my beautiful bride." Jimmy responded.

Jimmy proceeded to sit down in the water next to his wife and leaned in for a kiss. It was gladly returned.

"This sure is peaceful and private." Jess said.

"It sure is."

"I guess you didn't need to buy me that sexy red string bikini after all."

Jimmy raised an eyebrow. "Just because we have our very own clothing optional beach outside our room?"

Jess laughed. "I'll still put it on for you sweetheart. It's good to know you won't have to worry about prying eyes, especially when you remove it from me."

Jimmy grinned. "I'll look forward to it."

The newlyweds relaxed in the water for a while before Jimmy asked "Would you like to go explore the hotel and grounds?"

Jess grinned and nodded. "I'd like that. It would be fun to see what we have here. And it would be nice to eat something besides room service, not that I'm complaining."

Jimmy looked in mock surprise before agreeing. "The pool looks inviting too. Let's put our suits on and have a look." Jimmy stood up and offered his hand to Jess to help her up. Noticing her sand covered bare bottom he said "I think we better rinse off first."

Jess chuckled. "Are you trying to get me to take a shower with you my husband?"

Jimmy gave her a quick kiss. "Of course, my beautiful wife." He took her hand leading her to the shower where they stepped right in. Jess and Jimmy made sure the sand was completely washed off.

After drying off from their shower, Jimmy pulled on his board shorts and a T-shirt. Jess put on her sexy red string bikini. Jimmy's mouth dropped open. She turned slowly around so to Jimmy could see what he bought her. The top covered her breasts with triangles but the bottom was little more than a thong.

"Well?" Jess asked with a smirk.

Jimmy admired his wife's gorgeous body and held his chin in his hand in right hand pretending to be deep in thought. He grinned and said "You look incredible in that bikini. But I'm not so sure I want anyone else enjoying my view."

Jess grabbed Jimmy's T-shirt and pulled him to her giving him a passionate kiss on the lips. Jimmy put his hands on her waist before sliding them down to her bottom and then over her front to feel that she was covered. Jimmy kissed Jess and asked "How do you feel wearing it?"

Jess grinned and kissed him back. "I loved your reaction when you saw me in it. It made me feel very special. I don't care what anyone else thinks about it. My body belongs to you and no one else. I'd like to wear it."

Jimmy grinned. "I love you Mrs. Palmer. I'm glad you want to wear it. I'm glad I get to see you in it."

Jess kissed him then grabbed her swimsuit cover up and put in on. They slipped on their flip flops and headed out the door.

The view from pool was spectacular. After walking around the pool and deciding to come back after they ate lunch, Jimmy and Jess sat down at a table on the patio outside of the café. The waiter brought menus and bottles of water.

"What looks good?" Jimmy asked Jess.

Jess raised an eyebrow. "I usually ask you that question."

Jimmy laughed. "I beat you to it. Just as long as there is lots of it. I'm really hungry."

Jess nodded and smiled. "Do you know what food Bermuda is famous for?"

Jimmy shook his head and said "Let's ask the waiter."

Jess nodded while Jimmy waived to the waiter to come to their table.

"May I help you?"

Jimmy was holding Jess' hand and asked "My wife and I were wondering if you had any recommendations. We were interested in the types of food Bermuda is famous for."

The waiter nodded. "If you like spicy food, out Bermuda Fish Chowder is excellent and it's great with a Bermuda Fish sandwich. We also have BermudaSpiny Lobsters in season if you would like. If you're here on Sunday, be sure to come for our Bermuda Codfish Breakfast. I think it's the best on the islands. Oh, if you're hungry for dessert, we have a great Bermuda Rum Cake. You should also come here between 3 and 5 one day for High Tea. It's a real treat."

Jess and Jimmy looked at each other and smiled. Jimmy spoke up. "We like to share. How about the fish chowder, a fish sandwich and some spiny lobsters. We'll have the rum cake too."

The waiter nodded and looked at Jess. "Is there anything else you would like ma'am?"

Jess squeezed her husband's' hand. "I heard codfish cakes are good." The waiter nodded. "So please give us an order of those and we'd both like to try some ginger beer."

The waiter nodded. "Anything else?"

"I think that will do us." Jimmy responded.

The waiter headed back with their orders.

"it sure is beautiful here, Jess said to Jimmy as they finished their meals. The turquoise water in the distance was glorious where it met the blue sky. Jimmy took a sip of his ginger beer. "I like this better than I thought I would."

Jess nodded. "My dad likes this stuff so I grew up with it. It certainly is different from root beer."

"Are you ready to try out the pool?"

Jess nodded. "Sure am. But I'm sure I will need my husband's magical fingers to do a good job putting on my sunscreen."

"That, sweetheart, will be my pleasure." Jimmy grinned at his wife as he extended his hand to her. Jess linked her fingers with her husband as they walked hand in hand to the pool.

Finding two chaise lounges with the right amount of sun, a table with an umbrella, and a great view, the newlyweds plopped down on the lounges after moving them closer together and spreading out the hotel supplied towels. "I'm warm," Jess said. "Let's try out the pool."

Kicking off their flip flops, Jess helped Jimmy remove his shirt and Jimmy helped Jess remove her cover up. Holding hands they walked to the broad steps in the shallow end of the pool and waded in. There was only one other couple in the pool absorbed in conversation. Jess and Jimmy surmised they were also on their honeymoon.

Jess wrapped her legs around Jimmy's waist as they went a little deeper in the water to Jimmy's shoulder height. With their arms wrapped around each other Jimmy captured her lips with his. Jess deepened the kiss and after a minute, both were panting for breath. Jimmy slid his left hand under Jess' bottom to hold her up and his right hand to her left breast under the water. Jess grinned against Jimmy's lips before sliding her tongue in his mouth as their lips met again. Jess slid her hand to Jimmy's bottom giving him a squeeze. Jess whispered in his ear." Feeling a little frisky, my husband?" Jimmy smiled. "Very, my beautiful wife," whispering back.

The other couple came nearer to where Jimmy and Jess were in the pool causing them to break their embrace. Turning to the other couple Jimmy and Jess said hello. In return, the other couple returned the greeting.

"Are you on your honeymoon?" Jess asked.

The woman answered. "Why, yes. How did you know?"

Jess laughed. "You have that newlywed glow about you. Congratulations."

The man answered. "Thank you. Are you on your honeymoon, too?"

Jimmy grinned and nodded. "Yes we are. We're the Palmers. I'm Jimmy and my wife is Jessica."

"Pleased to meet you. Everyone shook hands. We are the Harpers. I'm Mike and my wife is Kathy."

Jess said "I detect a bit of an accent. Where are you from?"

"Ireland. Dublin to be more precise. You sound American. Where are you from?"

"Washington D.C.."

"Are you here for very long?"

We're here for a week in total." What about you?"

"The same."

"If you would like, maybe we could meet for dinner while we are here."

Mike looked at Kathy and she nodded. "That would be very nice. Tomorrow night?"

Jimmy looked at Jess who also nodded. "Sounds like fun." The exchanged room numbers so they could contact each other to finalize the details.

Kathy was getting cold and so was Jess. The two couples got out of the pool and went to their respective lounges. Jimmy noticed that Kathy was wearing a bikini that was similar in design to the one that Jess was wearing, just a different pattern and color. Any apprehension that Jimmy had left from Jess wearing her bikini was gone as it was in style. He wanted to go out and buy her another one.

Jess stretched out on her lounge on her stomach using a stack of towels as a pillow. Jimmy picked up the bottle of sunscreen and began applying the lotion to her legs, bottom and back. Sliding his fingers under the tied strings to her top, he made sure Jess was completely covered. He kissed his wife on the cheek when finished to which she replied with a "Thank you sweetheart."

"I'm thirsty," Jimmy said. "Would you like something to drink, my darling wife?"

Jess nodded and smiled. "Yes please, my love."

"I'll be right back." Jimmy leaned over giving Jess a kiss then standing to head to the snack bar.

Jimmy noticed that the Harpers gathered their items to leave, giving Jimmy a wave. Jimmy waved back before they turned to go.

When Jimmy returned with some drinks and snacks, he found Jess lying there with her bikini top untied. Jimmy kissed her on the cheek to let Jess know he was back. Jess rolled toward Jimmy to give him a real kiss. When she did Jimmy could see his wife's bare breasts, causing him to gulp. Jess grinned at him, letting him enjoy the view for a minute before rolling back flat on the lounge. Jimmy handed her the drink he got for her. "Thank you, sweetheart." Jess said before she took a sip.

Jimmy laid down on his lounge next to his wife after pushing their lounges right next to each other to where they were touching. He reached over putting his hand in her hair then sliding it down to the small of her back. Jess stroked Jimmy's hair for a few minutes then started massaging his neck. Jimmy closed his eyes, taking a little nap, bringing a smile to his wife's face. She too closed her eyes to enjoy the peaceful sunshine.

About twenty minutes later, their peaceful slumber was interrupted by a loud splash, then another, as some teenagers came to the pool to jump in. Jimmy and Jess looked up to see two boys and two girls get situated on the other side of the pool. They looked to be around 15 or 16 years of age. Jimmy leaned closer to Jess and whispered into her ear. "What do you say to heading back to our own private beach? We can walk through the main beach to get there."

Jess turned her head giving Jimmy a kiss. "Sounds like a great idea. I'm looking forward to some alone time with my handsome husband."

Jimmy grinned and kissed her back. Jimmy picked up Jess' swimsuit cover up holding it up for her to give her some privacy from the teenagers since she was essentially topless. Jess grinned at him as she sat up holding the towel to her chest. She tucked the towel in to hold it in place then put her cover up on over her head, putting her arms through the short sleeves. Standing up, she let the towel fall away leaving only her bikini bottoms on under her cover up. Jess used her bikini top to tie her hair in a ponytail.

Jimmy picked up their belongings, took Jess' hand, and walked down to the main beach. The pink sand was soft and warm on their feet. Walking along the edge of the water, they enjoyed the waves washing over their ankles leaving footprints in the sand. When they reached the path to head back to their room, they stopped to enjoy the view with their arms wrapped around each other. "I love you Mrs. Palmer." Jimmy said to his wife. "I love you Dr. Palmer." Jess said to her husband. Their lips met in a passionate kiss.

There was an outdoor shower just outside the hotel door where Jimmy and Jess rinsed off their feet and dried them with their towels. Jimmy opened the door to their room picking up Jess, carrying her in. "Twice, my love?"

Jimmy chuckled. "I'm just a love crazed husband who loves to carry his wife."

Jess grinned back. "I'm just a love crazed wife who loves to be carried by her husband."

Jimmy and Jess's lips met in a very passionate kiss before Jimmy set her down on her feet in the bedroom. Jess lifted her arms over her head while Jimmy removed her cover up, leaving her in her string bikini bottoms. Jimmy pulled Jess against him then sliding his hands down, one at a time, to pull the strings of her bikini. When Jimmy let go to wrap one arm around Jess and put his other on her breast, the suit fell to the floor. Jess reached down to the front of Jimmy's board shorts and pulled the sting to loosen his suit, she slid her hand inside the waistband before pushing down to the floor. Jess took Jimmy's length in her hand while sliding her tongue into his mouth. Jimmy moaned at her touch, then picked her up placing her on the center of the bed. Jimmy joined her there and Jess rolled him over onto his back, straddling him at his waist. Grinning at each other, Jimmy lifted his wife up a little so that her entrance was just above his member, then lifting his hips and pulling Jess down on him, filling her completely. The newlyweds groaned in delight at the intimate connection concentrating on each other's pleasure. Jimmy brought Jess to one climax then joined her when she had a second. Jess collapsed on top of her husband and stretched out, enjoying the full body contact. Holding each other in contentment, Jess listened to Jimmy's beating heart.

The next afternoon, Jimmy was on the phone with the concierge at the hotel requesting information regarding island transportation. Jess walked in the living room wearing her new dress. Looking at her husband dressed in his new clothes, she smiled and said "Don't you cut a fine figure my Bermudian husband." Jimmy looked up at Jess, he smiled back. "I'm glad you're wearing your new dress. You look beautiful." Jess smiled back. "Thank you. What did you find out?"

"We can rent a moped, scooter or an electric car. There is a company that will bring them to us. What would you prefer?"

"What's the electric car like?"

"It seats two and it is enclosed in case of rain. It's even air conditioned."

Jess nodded. "Do you have a preference?"

"The scooters sound like fun, we could race around the island."

Jess laughed. "What are the spoils to the winner?"

"I'll let you pick. I've already won the greatest prize when I won your heart." He gave Jess a kiss.

Jess smiled against his lips. "And I already won my greatest prize with you. Let's rent the electric car.. I would rather hold your hand anyway."

Jimmy picked up the phone to reserve an electric car for tomorrow morning at ten. When finished, Jimmy offered his arm to his wife which she gladly took while walking to the Pink Beach Club to meet up with the Harpers for dinner.

The view from their table was spectacular overlooking the Atlantic and pink sand beach. Mike and Kathy sat next to each other at the square table as did Jimmy and Jess. Each ordered a pre-dinner cocktail with prawns and mushrooms for appetizers.

Mike asked "Do you live and work in D.C?"

"We work in D.C. but live nearby in Virginia."

"Do you work for the federal government?"

"Yes, but for NCIS. It's the naval criminal investigative services."

"So, law enforcement."

"Yes. I'm a special agent. Jimmy is our Medical Examiner." Jess responded.

"So, you're a doctor?"

Jimmy nodded. "Yes. I spend quite a bit of my time with dead bodies. Jess is a very special detective and she is highly trained in helping people out of difficult situtations, like wanting to commit suicide."

Kathy grimaced. "Impressive. Is working with bodies depressing?"

"No. It can be gruesome but I get to help Jess and the rest of our team solve murder mysteries."

"What about you two?"

"We're in law enforcement too. We work for Interpol's Dublin office. Kathy is in the cybercrime division and I help hunt down fugitives."

"Very interesting. Do you get assigned to other offices outside of Ireland?"

"On occasion. We get sent to other offices on a short-term basis to work on a project or find a particular criminal."

"Have you come to the U.S. on business?"

They shook their heads. "Not yet. It would be great to go if the need arises. What about you? Do you go outside the DC area?"

"Yes. We go wherever there are victims with ties to the Navy. Our office handles cases from Philadelphia to Norfolk and places in between. We've handled cases on ships at sea."

"Fascinating."

The waiter came to their table for their orders. Jimmy ordered a filet mignon with spiny lobster and Jess some scallops. The Harpers order the catch of the day.

A bottle of red wine and a bottle of white wine completed their order.

"Have you done any touring of the island."

"We've gone into Hamilton, but that's about it so far." Mike responded. "What about you?"

"Just the hotel area. We're renting an electric car tomorrow to see the island."

"That sounds like fun. Where do you rent from?"

"The concierge took care of the arrangements. We decided on a the electric car instead of a scooter even though those look like fun too."

Kathy looked at Mike. "We should do that too. It beats the bus. Let us know how it goes. We have other plans for tomorrow to go on a boat ride."

Jimmy looked at Jess. "That sounds like fun too." Jess nodded.

Jimmy thought about rearranging their plans to perhaps do those activities together. He looked at his wife thought about it. He was on his honeymoon and wanted to spend as much alone time with Jess as possible. Jess looked at Jimmy contemplating what her husband was thinking. She could always tell when Jimmy was deep in thought when his brow furrowed like it was right now. Jess put her hand on Jimmy's leg leaning in to whisper in his ear. "Are you thinking about changing our schedule?"

Jimmy looked at Jess in surprise. "You can read my mind, sweetheart?"

Jess chuckled. "No, but we think alike. I would like to spend some more time with the Harpers too but later in the week. I don't feel like sharing my alone time with my husband on our honeymoon just yet."

Jimmy grinned at his wife. "I love you."

Jess whispered back. "And I love you."

"Should we invite them to go surfing with us?" Jimmy whispered in Jess' ear.

Jess grinned and nodded. "Let's ask them."

"Have you done any surfing?" Jimmy asked.

Mike and Kathy both shook their heads.

"Jess and I were looking at taking some surf lessons on Friday. Jess has done a little surfing but I'm a beginner. Would you be interested in joining us?"

Kathy and Mike looked at each other. Kathy whispered in her husband's ear. "You wanted to try that when we went to Australia. It sounds like fun. Let's do it."

Mike nodded. "That's a great idea as long as we won't be imposing."

"Not at all," Jess responded. "It will be fun."

The two couples continued to chat for quite a while getting to know each other. When it came time to pay the bill, they divided it in two and each signed their half to their rooms. The two coupled bid each other good night heading to their suites.
