I hate to sound biased and off-topic in the beginning for this write-up but, I am really glad the Ice Climbers are given a fun stage in Brawl as I HATED Icicle Mountain back in Melee, not to mention I find the Ice Climbers fun characters to use in Brawl and The Ice Climbers are one my secondary characters I use on Wi-Fi for Brawl. if anybody wants my friend code for Brawl, ask me for it in this topic.

Back on topic. Like I stated back in the past, the stages are getting better and better as the countdown goes on. Aside from one minor negative for gameplay in this stage, I find Summit to be a fun and an enjoyable stage to play on for Brawl.

To get the negatives out of way, there is only one minor gameplay problem I had with Summit. The giant fish in this level. Every single time when I play Summit, the fish provides to much of a unfair gameplay advantage portion in the stage to you and your opponents. If you get yourself knocked into the water and stay in the water for no more then 3 seconds, the giant fish in Summit, will dive down on your fighter, eating you as resulting of a KO. This happens more then you think, as the giant fish will appear endlessly in the stage if your opponent tries to be cheap on you trying to knock you into the water getting killed by the fish. Overall in Summit, the fish is a total unnecessary gameplay element in Summit.

Aside from that problem, Summit is still a fairly decent above-average stage to play on in Brawl, the other gameplay elements such as slipping on the ice can be annoying at times, it is fairly easy to the get pass that problem as all of the characters in Brawl slip around in the ice given that everybody has a chance at winning in the stage while on the ice portion in the stage.

The music in Summit is fairly well done as all of the music in Summit is from classic NES game music tunes and Ice Climber music made well done that fit the style of gameplay in the stage. Animation wise for Summit, is good. The water, snow and ice effects in Summit are gorgeous with a beautiful aurora in the background of Summit.

Overall, just like PictoChat and Port Town Aero Dive, Summit is a fun above-average stage in Brawl. Once it gets down to the Top 10 in the countdown, that is where stages go from "good" to "great" stages in Brawl
