The black slowly faded into grey as the man opened his eyes. Hundreds of broken cords and ripped cardboard boxes lined the floor. Spiderwebs weaved through the inner pillars of the building, that made the lights seem even more ancient than they likely were. The weathered brick walls, the low ceiling, the ground... everything ...seemed to have a grey coat of dust an inch thick.

The man seemed to find himself in an old-fashioned, run-down building - no - warehouse. There was no way he could be free already, could he? He never solved that riddle. What was it again...AB : 15-16? He didn't remember having escaped, but he thought maybe he would find some answers here. He spotted a wooden door in the distance with a curved handle, and immediately charged for it.

Locked.

He wondered if he was alone. The silence was deafening, except for the creaking sound of the overhead swinging lights. Someone must have been here. As the man was taking a breath in to call out, his inner conscience seemed to stop him. Something wasn't right, and it seemed, for whatever reason, dangerous to make a sound.

Without warning, from behind a pillar, a black silhouetted figure emerged from the shadows, a pistol pointed directly at the man. As if he knew he was coming, the man reached in his holster and pulled out his gun he didn't know he had. He involuntarily pulled the trigger, and the creature disintegrated into rainbow holographic specks of dust.

As soon as the man realized what happened, he dropped the gun. The shock overwhelmed him as he seemed to be in denial of the last five seconds. He had to be dreaming.

"Great work, xEverReignx73."

The man jumped in fright as the deep, electronic, cryptic voice echoed throughout the chamber. He spun 360 degrees, but no one was in sight.

"Who are you?" He cried out.

Silence.

Louder, the man shouted, " WHO ARE YOU?"

"Get the key."

What key? The man looked in front of him where the creature had been and sure enough, there was a vintage key on the floor. xEverReignx73 grabbed the key as quickly as he could and ran to the door. He twisted and heard the click of the lock, and the anticipation was eating him alive. The door swung open, but once again his heart sank.

In front of him was evidently an extension of the room he was just in - the same swinging lights, the same spiderwebs, the same chords, and the same cardboard boxes. Even the door on the other side of the room looked exactly the same.

But, something caught the corner of his eye. The right side of the brick wall had some graffiti letters painted on it in red. The paint job must have been recent because it was still wet, but the paint wasn't thick enough; ergo it slowly dripped down the wall.

The text read:

"The place where you perform the unthinkable."

Well, this was just great. xEverReignx73 didn't remember anything about his past. How was he supposed to solve this?

"Hey genius! I don't remember who I am."

The words fell out of his mouth before he could stop them, but he found no regret after they escaped his lips. Though it was risky, xEverReignx73 wondered how long it had been since he saw the 10 minute countdown. He pondered whether his psychotic kidnapper had taken him elsewhere, or if he was dreaming on the plane. Whatever it was, he needed to get out, or wake up.

"Perhaps this will jog your memory."

A stinging pain slashed from the left side of his cheek to his lips as he felt his head whip around. xEverReignx73 blinked as the world shifted around him, morphing from the grey desolate warehouse to a clean, white exercise facility. The swinging sound of the lights faded into the sound of a rapid ticking noise.

He felt an unusual tightness around his waist. He looked up and found himself attached to some sort of locomotive platform. He looked to his right and saw a VR headset resting on the floor a few feet away from him. A cloaked figure stood towering over him, as if waiting for him to say something.

xEverReignx73 still didn't remember who he was. He was not sure if he had expected to, but if he didn't act soon, him and the psycho would both be dead. He wondered how much time was left on the timer.

"Just tell me who I am!" xEverReignx73 tried to get a look at the hooded man's face, but it was completely encapsulated in darkness.

The hooded man passed xEverReignx73 a handheld mirror. The memories flooded back through xEverReignx73's head, but the look of confusion did not lift from his face.

"But I don't understand. What unthinkable thing did I do?"

"It's not what you have done, it's what you will do. And I'm here to stop you."
