Chapter 1
-Luminal city
Yumi followed Jack with Ralts resting on top of her head, enjoying the ride. During the way, she tried to think of a few names that would fit Ralts
"How about Aqua?" Yumi asked. Which Ralts simply scoffed with the sheer thought of the name.
"If you are going to name me that because of my name color, I will hurt you." She said to which Yumi sighed as she shook her head slightly. She couldn't exactly figure out a good name for her Ralts. After they exited the secure area and are back to the main lobby, Jack smiled as he turned to look at them
"If you talk to the nurse, she'll have your pokedex and everything you need for the journey. However, fair warning. Things around here have acted up lately and I need to see what's going on in a few cities since their conditions are worse than here. It is up to you if you want to stay here… However, if you choose to go. There is a chance you could be in danger unless your Pokemon can handle your opponents." He said as his smile faded and had more of a neutral expression on his face. "There is a day care around here if you want to raise your Pokemon there in case you can't raise them yourself for whatever reason. Now, with that. I must leave." He said as he simply walked away to which Yumi sighed. She walked towards the nurse and collected her pokedex, pokebag, trainer I.D and a case for her badges to which she noticed eighteen slots once she opened it. She decided not to ask anything nor really want to ask since she is aware Celestial is more of a challenging region compared to the others. And inside her bag, she saw 50,000 Pokedollars, ten pokeballs, ten potions, and finally a small exp candy to which she fed to Ralts that seem to make her stronger. She sighed as she left the building and bumped into someone. She looked up to see a guy there who seemed to be a child. To be more specific, a teenager.
"Hey! Watch where you're going you dumbass!" He said. He has red hair, yellow eyes with smooth hair that she believes to be a lot to be a guy but it didn't reach to his shoulders for sure. It seemed close though. He is wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes and his skin is pale. She quickly got annoyed as she looked away and proceeded to walk away. "Oh-no. You're not going to just leave without saying anything you stupid bitch!" He said as he then sent out a Piplup. He smiled as he then pointed at Yumi. "Piplup, use water gun!" He ordered.
"Piplup!" It exclaimed as it shot a harsh concentrated water towards Yumi to which she ducked the attack while Ralts teleported in front of Yumi.
"Alright! Our first battle!" Ralts exclaimed to which Yumi didn't seem to be happy about this in the slightest. But she chose to accept it and simply used her pokedex to not only scan Piplup but she also wanted to see what Ralts movelist is. She knows Mystic Fire, Psychic and teleport. Ralts seem to be a bit stronger than this Piplup though.
"Lila, use psychic!" Yumi ordered to which Ralts nodded as a noticeable pink aura surrounded Ralts and immediately had the same thing surround Piplup that injured it significantly.
"Dammit, Piplup use flash cannon now!" The guy ordered. It caught Yumi by surprise as she didn't seem to expect this in the slightest.
"What? It shouldn't know that until it becomes Empoleon… Right?" Yumi thought to which Ralts was caught off guard as well as a giant metal-like blast appeared which engulfed and injured Ralts but it wasn't as significant as they both thought which also caught the boy by surprise.
"What?!" He exclaimed and seemed to be angered. Yumi quickly looked at her pokedex and saw Ralts name changed into . She figured the M might mean Mutated for short. She saw that Ralts type is actually poison and psychic as well.
"Lila, use psychic once more!" Yumi ordered to which Ralts nodded as it finished off the Piplup with one more psychic. The Piplup fainted to which Ralts smiled. The boy growled as he glared at them both.
"You damn cheater! If you didn't mutate that damn monster then I would have won!" He exclaimed as he then ran into the building. Yumi shrugged as she gave Ralts a thumbs up to which it also did the same.
"I like that name!" She said.
"Okay then it is decided. Your new name is now Lila! And Charmander will be Nihil!" She said, which made Ralts laugh.
"Nihil? What type of stupid name is that?" She asked which made Yumi both blush and simply scoffed.
"He will like it. Anyways, come on we need to look for this daycare anyways." She said. Lila nodded as she used her psychic powers to get a potion out of Yumi's back and healed which Yumi didn't mind. Along the way to the daycare, a few random wild Bidoofs appear to which she had Nihil deal with them. "Can you tell him to use scratch? Since that is the only move it knows aside from growl." Yumi said which Lila nodded as she told Nihil on what to do which simply looked at both Yumi and Lila in confusion. Yumi waited patiently however.
-Switching to Pokemon language.
"Why on earth should I listen to you?" Nihil asked to which Lila sighed.
"Yumi doesn't like to talk outright. She… Isn't comfortable with it yet due to her past" Lila explained to which Nihil simply seemed annoyed.
"Then she should try to let me know about that." He said as he scratched a bidoof, knocking it out instantly. "It isn't right for you to give me orders. Can't you do a telepathy path between us three?" He asked to which Lila thought about it for a moment.
"I could try to. I guess I could maybe do it now since I am a bit stronger." Lila replied as she did what Nihil suggested.
-Switching back to normal
"And there you go." Ralts said as she decided to remain quiet for a while. Yumi herself is confused until Nihil spoke up
"Look I don't care if you're my new trainer or not. You need to tell me what to do, otherwise how can I respect you as a trainer?" He stated to which Yumi remained quiet for a while before speaking up
"No. I can't yet. After what happened… I came here to escape my past. Talking right now just doesn't feel right… At least not yet. Not after what happened with Hydro." She said as her expression turned cold, which concerned both Lila and Nihil. "Return." She said as Nihil did return into his Pokeball and Ralts simply rested on top of her head. They kept walking for a while and fought a few more random wild Pokemon which didn't interest Yumi to catch but it did allow Nihil to get stronger a bit and he seemed to be as strong as Lila. However, along the way Yumi started to wonder who the hell mutated Lila and how the process even happened. She wanted to ask Lila what happened but figured to wait until she's ready to talk about it. The city itself seemed to have some destroyed cities and the sky itself was cloudy. She also noticed some dried up blood on the floor as well which confused Yumi even more. Suddenly Lila used teleportation on Yumi which teleported them a few feet to the right to where she was walking to avoid a green blast.
"What the fuck!?" Yumi said as she looked behind her to see an Ivysaur shot the blast. She quickly used her pokedex to check the level of it and saw it was level 11. "What? That isn't possible. How can-"
"Damn it. That little bastard sensed us." Its trainer said. She seemed to be roughed up with a white tank top and ripped up black leggings with no shoes. She also seemed to be dirty as well. Almost as if she was able to clean herself for a good while now. "Well I'm sure we have this in the bag." She said as she pointed at Yumi. Lila quickly teleported in front of Yumi, protecting her. "Ivy, use sludge bomb now!" She ordered.
"Saur!" Ivysaur said as he shot a purple substance that quickly flew towards Lila who was forced to take a direct hit from the attack. She was injured but again, it wasn't that effective, which surprised the trainer.
"Lila use mystic fire!" Yumi ordered to which Lila nodded as she then shot a giant fire blast from its mouth that hit Ivysaur directly, making it struggle to stand as it stood there panting. "Alright now finish it off with psychic!" She said to which Lila has a pink aura surrounding her that quickly also surrounded Ivysaur, knocking it out completely.
"Shit!" The trainer exclaimed as she summoned back her Ivysaur and fled away.
"Yeah and don't do that again you asshole!" Lila exclaimed to which Yumi raised her right eyebrow. Lila then teleported on top of Yumi's head and they walked to the direction they were heading until they saw a building that seemed to be in perfect condition with a backyard that seemed lively. Except there weren't any Pokemon to be seen. She approached the building until Lila use her psychic powers to stop Yumi.
"Wait. I can hear some people distressed on the inside… And two hostels." Lila said as she seemed to be concerned. Yumi nodded
"Well then we need to save the people inside right?" She said to which Lila nodded in agreement as they both entered the building to which a Bronzor floated, charging up a shadow ball. However, Nihil broke out of the pokeball and shot a few small embers that clashed with the shadow ball, canceling out both attacks completely only for a flamethrower from Growlithe who jumped into the air behind the Bronzor which Lila quickly used Mystic fire which overpowered the Growlithe's flamethrower, making the attack hit him which did some damage to it but it wasn't anything significant due to fire being not really effective towards it.
"Oh come on you said we'd be able to take care of them with a sneak attack like that!" Someone said as Yumi turned to see the direction of the noise to see two guys there, dressed with a full white outfit consisting with a white long sleeved shirt, white pants, white shoes, white hat. However, there is a letter E that is black on their shirt's front and back. "And why the hell does that Ralts know that move!?" He exclaimed. He has red eyes from what Yumi could tell while the other has Blue eyes.
"You should have attacked alongside me." His partner stated.
"Oh is this some type of criminal syndicate? Like team Plasma, Rocket and such?" Nihil asked to which Yumi nodded. He smiled as he readied himself to attack once more.
"Growlithe use Agility" The red eye'd guy said to which Growlithe started to move around the building at a fast pace to the point it seemed like he was teleporting. Lila and Nihil looked at their opponents with their backs facing against one another.
"You get Bron, I'll get the dog." Lila said.
"Right, because you won't be able to handle this guy with a shadow ball." Nihil said.
"Oh just shut up. I can take him!" Lila replied with a hint of annoyance in her tone.
"Lila, use psychic on him and Nihil, use ember." Yumi ordered to which Nihil shot a few embers at Bronzor while Lila had a pinkish aura around her that she quickly tried to hit the Growlithe but couldn't.
"Bronzor use stomping tantrum." The guy with blue eyes said. Bronzor suddenly started stomping around which then sent parts of the ground towards Nihil but not before embers hit Bronzor. It did do some damage but it didn't seem to be super effective. Nihil tried to avoid the attack but one of the debris hit him, not only doing a direct critical hit but almost knocked him out.
"D-dang it…" Nihil muttered as he tried to get back up but Bronzor started charging a shadow ball to finish the job. Lila on the otherhand couldn't even hit Growlithe and before Nihil got hit, Yumi ordered Lila to use Mystic Fire to which Lila shot a fire blast from her mouth to try to hit Growlithe but it didn't seem to do much.
"Now use bite!" The guy with red eyes said as Growlithe did bite Lila which not only did some serious damage as its teeth sunk into her shoulder, but it also caused her blood to come out of the wound, making it drip to the floor.
"NO!" Yumi exclaimed as she wanted to help them so she tried to look for a potion in her bag until Bronzor then looked at Yumi and tried to shoot the shadow ball at her instead. But it then got hit by an iron head which caught it off guard and is a critical hit. A level 5 Aron that is pure white seemed to be scared but it wanted to help.
"Damn pest." The guy with blue eyes muttered as he then pointed at it. "Use stomping tantrum again and hit that bastard." He said to which the Bronzor obeyed as it hit the Aron, making it fly across the room and crash onto the wall then made it fall onto the ground, barely conscious. "Now finish it with a shadow ball." He ordered as the Bronzor wasted no time to shoot Aron with a shadow ball.
"Growlithe. Throw that weak trash somewhere and use Flamethrower on that Aron." The guy with the red eyes said as Growlithe simply scoffed as it threw Lila towards Yumi, making her catch her and tried to heal the wound with a potion then doing the same with Nihil as quickly as she could.
"NO!" Someone exclaimed as he then moved in front of the Aron, taking both of the attacks head on which horrified Yumi, Nihil and Lila. The man's face was completely burnt along with his chest having a hole on it as he then fell to the ground while blood started pouring from his wound. He is burnt beyond belief which made Yumi both shocked and angered.
-Switching to Pokemon Language.
"YOU BASTARDS!" Nihil yelled as he then shot a purple fire from his mouth, dragon rage. It hit Bronzor by surprise. Knocking it out completely.
"What the hell!?" Growlithe exclaimed as it then saw Lila having a blue aura surrounding her before it engulfed her. She started to evolve during the battle and once it disappeared, she evolved into Kirlia but has electricity surrounding her right hand as she quickly teleported in front of Growlither and punched him with full force using a thunder punch. Growlithe yelp as he was sent flying across the room, knocked out completely. Once he landed onto the ground. Now, Lila's appearance drastically differs from a normal Kirlia due to her being a mutant Pokemon. Her eyes are still blue but her hair-like structure is short, almost as short as Ralts. And her green color now changed into a silver like color as well along with the dress itself turning into a slightly purple color mix with white. The other drastic change is that her dress itself is now a bit longer, reaching to her knees.
-Switching back to normal
"Dammit, you should have finished off that Ralts when you had a chance!" The guy with the blue eyes said. The guy with the red eyes didn't say anything though. They both quickly call back their Pokemons into the capsule. They growled as Yumi looked at them with a cold expression.
"Lila, use psychic on them and knock them out." Yumi ordered which Lila didn't waste any time as she has a pinkish like aura around her and quickly had one at the red eyed guy, knocking him out first. The blue eyed guy then tried to run away and Lila was about to knock him out until Aron called out weakly. This distracted Yumi, Lila and Nihil long enough for him to run past them.
"We need to check on him." Lila said as both Nihil and Yumi nodded in agreement as they ran to the Aron. He laid there heavily injured as Lila quickly used another potion to heal the Aron which did but it seemed to stabilize him more than anything. "He needs to go to a Poke-" She stopped as she headed upstairs.
"Where are you going?" Yumi asked as she followed Lila to see a silver Gible there. It tried to look intimidating and strong as it stood there protecting the day care old lady and her husband.
-Switching to Pokemon Language.
"You're not going to hurt them! My trainer's orders were to protect them!" Gible said, which made both Nihil and Lila sad.
"We're not trying to hurt them. In fact, we dealt with the bad people." Nihil said in a soft tone to which Lila gulped as she chose to ask him a question
"Was your trainer… Trying to save an Aron?" Lila asked to which the Gible nodded, seeming less hostile "I'm sorry… He died protecting him." He said to which Gible stood there frozen for a few moments before it fell onto its butt and started crying. Yumi stared at the Gible sad as she then looked at both Nihil and Lila who also were crying.
-Switching back to normal
"Young lady… Thank you for saving us." The day-care old lady said to which Yumi nodded, but with a sadden look on her face.
"Those people tried to kidnap all the Pokemon we had. They succeeded in stealing eight of them. The last two were the Gible and Aron from that trainer. He arrived to pick them up as those people were ready to kidnap them." The day-care old man said to which Yumi could piece on what happened next. Somehow he managed to get the old man and old lady to the second floor with his Pokémon and most likely, she arrived right when those people were ready to beat some sense into these people or kill them.
"We need to take Aron to the Pokemon Center. He needs to be healed by them since a potion won't be enough." Lila said to which the old man and old lady nodded.
"Of course. And you all are welcome here anytime. The police should be here any minute and will take care of the situation. As for their trainer… We'll get a blanket to put over him so Gible won't see him in that state." The day-care old lady said. Yumi called back Nihil into his Pokeball as Lila used her psychic power to carry Aron but she seemed to be struggling a bit.
"Damn… He's heavy." Lila said as Yumi heard some footsteps behind her to see the Gible following them, trying to ignore the blood he saw on the ground. "He wants to follow us because Aron is his partner." She said to which Yumi nodded as they quickly went to the nearest Pokemon Center. Once they arrived, the little girl smiled as she saw Yumi but then frowned as she saw the injured Aron.
"Oh no, what happened?" She asked as she approached them. Lila went with the Nurse in order for her to help place Aron wherever she needed as Yumi didn't say anything and still has a sad look on her face. "Oh I forgot to mention this I think but… Thank you for saving me." She said as she saw Gible. "Oh? Why are you a silver color?" She wondered then shook her head. "I'm sorry, how rude of me. My name is Rose! And you are?" She asked to which Yumi showed her, her trainer I.D. "Oh, nice to meet you Yumi!" She said as she smiled. Yumi didn't say anything but she simply made a half smile and nodded.
"Seems like he'll be alright. Just give him a few minutes and he'll be back." Lila said as she also seemed fully healed. "Now, give me Nihil and I'll place him in that healing center." She stated to which Yumi did what Lila told her to do. Lila placed Nihil in the healing center and after it flashed for a few moments, Lila then gave Yumi back Nihil.
"Little girl is back. Her name is Rose." Yumi explained. Lila looked at Rose then smiled as she waved to her.
"Is that Kirlia? Your Ralts evolved? Isn't that… Early?" Rose asked which Yumi didn't think about until now but nodded.
"Yeah. Why did you evolve early?" Yumi asked, to which Lila shrugged.
"Maybe it is because I'm a mutated Pokemon? Perhaps my conditions to evolve are different compared to other Ralts and Kirlia?" Lila replied to which Yumi sighed. Of course Lila wouldn't know. She isn't even sure much about mutated Pokemon itself so of course she wouldn't know this part in specific.
"As much as I like being here… They're going to put me in an orphanage but I've heard some negative things about it from the people around here. I am happy you came back actually! I was hoping maybe you will be fine with me coming along?" Rose asked to which Yumi shook her head.
"I already was in danger three times today. If you tagged along with me without any pokemon in fact, you'll be a burden." Yumi said. As harsh as it sounded, she was right. Rose pouted for a bit before looking down on the ground before Aron then walked back to everyone as Gible hugged it, both started crying because of what happened to their trainer. "Their trainer died. He protected Aron." She said as Rose frowned.
"I'm so sorry for your loss." Rose said as she bowed to Aron and Gible, having tears fall to the ground. Gible and Aron looked at the little girl with a saddened look on their face.
"She lost her parents today. Like you both, she lost almost everything." Lila said to which Gible and Aron looked at each other for a moment and walked up to Yumi to which Lila stared at them confused until Gible pointed at Nihil's Pokeball. Lila nodded as she used her psychic powers to take two random pokeballs out of Lila's bag and gave it to Gible who simply walked to Rose and gave them to her.
"Huh? But… I'm not a trainer." Rose said to which Gible and Aron smiled as Yumi gave her a thumbs up to which Rose nodded as she threw both of the pokeballs at Gible and Aron to which they were sucked into the Pokeball and it shook around with a red light a bit before a steady red light appeared as it stopped shaking. The red light disappeared and Rose smiled as she picked up the Pokeball and called out her new two Pokemon.
"Oh! How rare for this to happen!" The nurse said as she smiled at Rose. "So, do you want to be a little girl?" She asked which Rose thought for a moment and nodded.
"Yes. I want to join Yumi here on her journey!" She responded, which seemed to bring even more joy to the nurse.
"Excellent! Now, follow me. I'll arrange your Pokedex, Trainer I.D, a bag and gym case!" She said to which Rose followed.
"Well now we're not alone." Lila said as Yumi seemed unsure about this whole thing but couldn't help but agree.

Nothing much to say about this other than it is kind of hard for me to figure out how to tell this story since I have to make a lot of things up. Now, Kirlia (Lila) is quite different with her stats. Lila's base SP attack is 70 but her regular attack is 65. Her speed is 35, Defense is 55 and SP Defense is 55 as well. Her HP is 42. Thanks to her mutated genes. So she is strong but in terms of speed she will get out speed which is why she favors teleport. Charmander (Nihil) is another rare case as he learned dragon rage early due to anger. Now obviously the Gible seems to have a great moveset but I wanted to give Rose something to at least compete with Yumi due to her having Lila. As for why their colors are different. It is really just down to this region having different types of shiny pokemon. They still function the same but the color is different. And with that, I hope you all enjoy this chapter!
