Smashville is a fun stage, no question about it. Smashville has a cute art style in animation, great music and another stage where just about anyone can have a fun time enjoy fighting on Smashville.
The animation and music in Smashville is decent with cute chibi drawing based changing daytime and nighttime stage backgrounds to AC based cute characters watching in the stands. Nintendo and HAL did a great time copying and matching the AC universe well in Brawl.
Gameplay wise, Smashville is fun. Just about anyone can have a fun time fighting on Smashville. Even though, Smashville is a fairly small stage to fight on, it is easy to overlook this problem as the gameplay action can be a blast on Smashville despite the stage being small. No matter what type of gameplay type style you were doing on in Smashville, you were bound to find yourself and your friends having a fun time fighting on Smashville. Smashville is one of the best stages for friends, luck players and skill players to fight on. Anyone and I mean ANYONE that's a fan of the series and a fan of fighting games will have a fun time on Smashville.
The reason why Smashville isn't in the Top 5 in the countdown is that, the music isn't the best out there as with the remaining five stages that have excellent music selections. The music in Smashville ISN'T BAD but, there are bound to be a few people here and there that will not like the music in Smashville but again, Gameplay is more important then Animation and Music for a fighting game stage.
Overall, Smashville is one of the best stages for just about anyone to pick up and play in Brawl. Even if you are a casual gamer that only plays Brawl here and there, you and your friends are bound to have some fun stage fighting on Smashville with it earning #6 on my Countdown.
