Preston Ward Condra Ranks All 31 Super Smash Bros Brawl Stages

Another Smash Bros project I made, where I ranked all 31 stages from Super Smash Bros Brawl. The unlockable past N64 and Melee stages will not be a part of this publication. I initially did this project, back in December 2008, during the mundane two week break from school. I don't know why I wrote all this down but, alas I did anyway. Enjoy reading it.

29. 4 - Halberd

Like Bridge of Eldin, Halberd is one of my favorite stages. Halberd is a great stage with a great catchy soundtrack, great and unique gameplay elements and being a stage with a wide range of variety.

Brawl wise, Halberd has the best music and animation out of the remaining stages left on the countdown. Compared to other soundtracks for a stage out there, Halberd's soundtrack was unique with some of the best Kirby songs from the past remixed well in a catchy Jazz tune such as, Metaknight's Theme Song from Kirby Super Star and the Kirby Squeak Squad theme song. Halberd has the best soundtrack out of the Brawl stages. If it wasn't for the fact that gameplay matters over animation and music, Halberd would be #1.

The Gameplay like the Music and Animation in Halberd, is unique and very fun to fight on. While at times, the platforms you fight on are too small to fight on, there is a bunch of variety in the gameplay to overlook this problem. You and your friends and opponents on Halberd can go from avoiding being hit by electric cannons, battling on the top and bottom part of Metaknight's Ship and trying to knock each other out of the sky while fighting on Halberd.

Halberd is like Brawl's version of Mute City from Melee. Unique, Great soundtrack, Great gameplay with a good mix of variety. Like Mute City, Halberd's main platforms keep the action moving making and causing a mix of fast paced action fighting on Halberd. I personally found like I stated, Halberd is unique and very fun to fight on.

If it wasn't for the fact the Gameplay comes first before the Animation and Music for a stage, Halberd would likely be #1 but, because of this, I had to rank Halberd slightly lower to #4. Halberd IMO, is a very good and fun stage in Brawl.
