Castle Siege is another one of my favorite stages in Brawl. The music in Castle Siege is enjoyable with unique and fun action gameplay on the stage.
One of the best things about Castle Siege is that, the stage is unique. Compared to most Brawl stages out there where action takes place on a simple platform and such, the fighting action on Castle Siege takes place on big changing platforms. The stage starts out at the top of the castle, to the middle of the castle and to being underneath the castle. This gameplay style is unique to say the least as, you can find yourself and your opponents fighting on different parts on the changing platforms in Castle Siege due to the changing multiple platforms in the stage are large to fight on making up more room for fighting action on the Stage. Gameplay wise overall, Castle Siege is unique and very fun to fight on.
The soundtrack and animation in Castle Siege is very good. Fans of the Fire Emblem of the series will be happy to know that, the main style in animation in the stage, fits the style of the Fire Emblem series well with Nintendo picking some of the best music from the FE series remixed well in Brawl well. The soundtrack like Halberd is also very unique with a great opera-pop based soundtrack fitting the style and fighting action on Castle Siege well.
Overall, Castle Siege is a very fun stage. The reason why Castle Siege isn't Number One unlike either Luigi's Mansion or Delfino Plaza is that, Castle Siege only has 3 major changing platforms in the level. More changeable platforms would of been nice but, it is easy to overlook this problem as the main gameplay fighting action on Castle Siege is unique, balanced, and fun compared to many Brawl Stages out there. Castle Siege is a stage I found very enjoyable and should be everyone given a chance to fight on.
