Starting off our Top 10 on the countdown is, Congo Jungle from Smash Bros 64. Like I stated earlier, these remaining stages are stages I have no real problems with and was getting harder and harder to rank them. One of the better stages from Smash Bros 64 is, Congo Jungle. I found Congo Jungle to be a very underrated stage. I enjoyed most of the gameplay mixing elements on the stage and remains as a very fun and enjoyable stage to play on with friends.

My favorite gameplay elements I enjoyed from the stage, were the albeit Ferris Wheel like platforms in the center of the stage. This is one gameplay element that was surprisingly fun as it mixed up the fighting action as the Ferris Wheel like platforms, could help you getting blocked by one of your opponents attacks or causing you to screw up and miss your own attacks. I enjoyed this concept because since the platforms move in a fast speed, it would mix up the main gameplay fighting action on the stage, often. Something that isn't in most stages in the series, let alone in Smash Bros 64 at the time the game came out.

Unlike Kongo Jungle from Melee where the barrels in the stage were completely useless and sometimes screw you up for no reason whatsoever the barrels in Congo Jungle from Smash Bros 64, were designed well for the stage. If you needed to recover on something and the timing was just right, the side to side barrel beneath the bottom of the stage would catch you and save you from losing a life. If you also timed where you were and what direction of the barrel was at the stage, you could form around a cheap shot on your opponents as the barrel would throw you in the air and help you back on the stage. This is another gameplay element, I enjoyed from Congo Jungle as much like Ferris Wheel like platforms, mixed up the action well and were design well gameplay wise in the stage.

The music on the stage is well done and showcases personality from the DK universe well. The main background music is music from Donkey Kong Country. (I hope I am right, about this.) and the main background in the stage itself, gives off a jungle based feel to it from the Donkey Kong series. It's well done and crafted well much like the main gameplay on the stage.

That's all I got to say about Congo Jungle from Smash Bros 64. Very fun stage and very enjoyable to play on with friends. Much like I stated earlier, I really do not have any problems with any of these remaining stages on the countdown. These stages are "must have" stages that deserved to at least worth trying out on by any type of Smash Bros fan. A stage that involves pure fun and remains as one of the best the series offers, especially involving Smash Bros 64 at the time.
