"You're suppose to put it on your hand, not your lips." Blake said. "That way you don't spread germs."
Ruby's hand froze before the maroon lipstick sample could touch her lips. She raised an eyebrow at that. "But how am I suppose to know it looks good on my face? It's lipstick."
"Well, putting it on your hand will show how nice it looks against your skin. Let me show you." Blake used the lipstick sample to draw a stripe on her hand, which contrasted against her skin. "See?"
Ruby pouted, looking at the maroon stripe, and then at Blake's face. She snapped her fingers. "What a minute."
Ruby gently grabbed Blake's wrist, bringing the lipstick stripe to her lips with a soft kiss.
"Did it work?" Ruby grinned.
No, it didn't. There wasn't much coverage on her lips. Still, Blake can't help but to let out a light laugh at this.
