"Blake, would you like to get married someday?"
Blake suddenly froze in place, her paper bags swinging from her arms as she sharply turned towards Ruby. In front of her girlfriend was a jewelry store's ring display. "W-What?"
"Well, um..." Ruby turned red, but her eyes never turned away from the rings. Blake can't help but to look at them now too, her eyes on a particular selection of black gemstones. "I just thought... if we get a normal life after all of this, and we still get to be Huntresses, then maybe it would be nice to have some reassurance that... we can still be together in the end."
Blake smiled. She reached out, and gently petted her head. "Yes. I... would like that too."
