Episode 2-Woe is the loneliest number so see the great Achilles, whom we knew
Xavier heard the ruffling of pages as he walked into the infirmary where Rowan was still comatose, there he saw Lucas reading an old book while he sat next to Rowan's bed.
"Wednesday's not here if you've come a courting." Lucas said as he flipped through the pages of book.
"I'm here to see Rowan, dude…I should have seen this coming, the guy was going crazy, we had this big fight, but I never thought he would snap like this….I should have helped him." Xavier said as he looked in sorrow at Rowan. "And…sorry about snapping at you during fencing class. I…..it's just living with normies is hard sometimes and with the changes in school…..sorry man, you're cool."
"Don't worry about it, I've met plenty of normies who make my blood boil too. We cool. And found him! Look after Rowan for me and I'll put in a good word for you over Tyler." Lucas said as he left the infirmary for the hall in order to call his great grandfather.
"What do you think grandpa?"
"That things a cursed creature, most likely a striga type curse. You're dealing with someone who transforms from beast to human, trust no one, anyone can be the creature." At that Lucas looked trough the infirmary window at Xavier who was watching over Rowan's form as Lucas added him and every single person in the town besides himself and Wednesday on the list.
"And the prophecy?"
"Shit prophecy, doesn't even rhyme but you never can be too careful. Listen up Lucas when it comes to visions of the future handling them is tricky, ignore them and they come, try to stop them and you might make them manifest, the key is to trigger them prematurely."
"How do I do that?"
"That's something you and your allies have to figure out. Still…I was hoping that it would not come to this, I trained you just in case, but I hoped you'd never live my life…"
"I'm not gramps, don't worry. It's just temporary." Lucas replied.
"Good, also…..look underneath your suitcase's lining, there are some weapons there, weapons I hoped you'd never have to use."
"I know about the two blades, they are your old gear."
"I hoped they'd never be yours." His grandfather's old and war weary voice said as Lucas ended the conversation.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx After the Poe Cup xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
"Since you and I are the only ones we can clearly discount we must start from that assumption and set a trap for the creature with me as bait." Wednesday said.
"Now hold on, hold on, how and why?" Lucas asked.
"It clearly meant to save me when Rowan tried to kill me, as such I am needed for whatever plans the killer has with this." Wednesday said as she showed the drawing that Rowan had.
"Xavier says that it's the image of Joseph Crackstone."
"So his corpse or spirit must be involved, well best go and get some shovels." Lucas said.
"And find the location of the nearest crematorium."
"For what?"
"Melting the bones of course."
"Why do you know how do dispose of dead people's bones?" Lucas asked.
"I don't. I know how to dispose of evidence." Wednesday said with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh Diana, how I love it when we spent time together." Lucas said with a smile before he left for the shovels.
As soon as he was gone Wednesday slapped herself hard in the face
"Damn muscle spasms. They are getting more out of control." She said to herself as Thing shook his fingers in dismay….teenagers.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Crackstone's grave xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
"I thought you'd say we'd have some girl time." Enid said from next to Wednesday as they along with Lucas where opening Crackstone's grave.
"This is girl time." Wednesday said, she had invited Enid since she was a werewolf and already a transforming being it was impossible for her to be the killer. One could not be more than one transforming being at a time.
"And here's the prize, open…..what the…this guy's been dead for centuries….how is his body still so intact, he should be nothing but bones by now?" Lucas asked.
"Arsenic poison most likely, but this changes things. Lucas, go and procure for us several plastic containers along with fluoric acid for destroying the corpse. And make sure that people see you buying them and coming here, we must lure the creature with this."
"What if his actions have nothing to do with this? What if it's just a coincidence and you have the prophecy thing and the creature thing that just overlap?" Enid asked surprising Wednesday.
"What? I'm smart too!"
"Surprisingly very much so."
"Ah, thank you!" Enid said with a happy smile which made Wednesday regret complementing her.
"Then we must also prepare a plan for that."
"Such as?" Lucas asked and then Wednesday looked at both of them with a raised eyebrow.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxx A few minutes later xxxxxxxxxxxx
"I'm not too comfortable with this!" Lucas said as currently Wednesday was tied to a tree on top of the biggest hill there was with Lucas and Enid with torches in their hands.
"Neither am I."
"I'm very comfortable, but we have no choice. The creature has shown that it has an interest in me as such we shall simulate that I'm in danger and so shall arrive. Now if you two are done a friend and set me on fire."
"Okay, but only because we're besties!" Enid said with a trembling voice.
"Don't push it." Wednesday warned.
"Things I'd never think I'd do today, burn someone at the stake and be bossed around by said person." Lucas said as they lit a few pieces of wood that were arranged around Wednesday, not in a manner that would kill her, much to her displeasure, but in a way that would take her charred scent across the wind to bring forth the creature.
"So…you're Enid."
"Yeah, you're Lucas. The guy with roommate problems."
"Yeah, got a new roommate actually. Ajax, he's the first one to stay for more than one night. He's pretty chill."
"Ajax…can u, introduce me?"
RAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
"If we don't get eaten sure." Lucas said as the creature roared again and burst trough the clearing and right into the pit that they dug for it. Immediately Wednesday burst out of her fake bonds and the trio placed a hidden cage over the pits entrance right as the creature's arm burst trough and grabbed Lucas by the throat.
Enid and Wednesday both grabbed one of the swords from Luca's back and hit the creature with it. The one in Wednesday's hands burned it making it let go of Lucas, withdraw and switch to human, as the creature did so the area with which Enid had attacked started to bleed.
"Two effects?" Enid asked.
"Silver for outcasts, steel for humans, both are for monsters." Lucas said as he rubbed his bruised throat as the creature turned into.
"Tyler!? Okay, this is….something else." Lucas said as they looked at the boy trapped in the pit.

The sirens hums and lights flooded the now dark forest as the Sheriff could do nothing but gaze heartbroken as his son was taken away by his depute.
"Well, guess that's that." Lucas said as he and Wednesday made their way trough the forest and back to the crypt where they started to cut up the body and put it in plastic containers for dissolving.
"Not quite." Wednesday replied.
"What makes you say that?"
"I've been in contact with my family, Tyler was a Hyde, a creature who has a master, the first person they see after they transform. The mystery is only half solved." She replied.
"Makes sense. But how are we going to get that information out of him?" Lucas asked.
"We watch who comes to visit him and form a suspect list from that. For a witcher you're very bad at this."
"Witcher?" Lucas asked.
"Yes, between outcast and human, between two worlds. Did you not know this?"
"I'm not a witcher Diana, whatever that is. My grandfather maybe one but not me."
"You do lack certain distinguishing features of one."
"So, I could be more handsome that I already am?" Lucas asked as they continued to destroy Crackstone's body.
"I said that you could be a witcher, I did not say you could be delusional." Wednesday replied.
"As such a great intellect and witty repartee. No wonder you're so short, to compensate for that big head of yours." Lucas teased.
"I am not short."
"Delusions of grandeur." Lucas said as Wednesday turned away so as to avoid him seeing her facial spasms, they where getting out of hand.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Girl's dorm room xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The door to their room was slammed open by the Addams girls as Enid lay on her belly in bed.
"So, how was your date?" She asked.
"It was not a date."
"So spending hours chopping a body and melting them is not your idea of a hot date?"
"That is irrelevant. Ah, where is it?" Wednesday asked as she browsed all her books.
"Where is what?"
"The pages that describe the symptoms of my disease. The spasms come and go to irregularly for it to be tetanus, which is disappointing."
"Tetanus….Wednesday stop being silly, you're not sick, you're just smiling a lot."
Wednesday stopped at that.
"Impossible. I have no sunny disposition. I'm not known for being too amused let alone smiling."
"That's what happens when a girl meets a boy she likes."
"LUCAS IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!"
"I never said he was. And what's with the sudden tone shift?" Enid asked with a teasing smile.
"Oh no….smiling, change in disposition and a lack of inhibition….I…I'm being pulled into unfamiliar territory. And I am…..I…"
"Wends? Roomie?"
"I think I…like the way he makes me feel." Wednesday said in shock
"Oh, this calls for a girl's night in!" Enid said and gabbed her make up and pedicure kit, along with some sodas and patted her bed.
Wednesday was so shell shocked that she followed suit. A part of her realized what was happening but desperate times called for desperate measures, especially one that concerned witchers.
"Now, for how long have you had a crush on him?" Enid asked as Wednesday explained how they met, at her story Enid squealed in romantic joy.
"These are dark times. Curse you Lucas! Lucas!Lucas!"
