One chilly day in November, SMG1 and SMG2 were out for a stroll in an alleyway in Mushroom City. It had been a few months since Zero was defeated and the world was at peace, they had been planning on getting a job at Omnia Academy as meme research club teachers and were waiting for an answer back from the school's managers.

The two Meme Guardians weren't even worried about a thing, even though their stomachs were rumbling. It had been a few hours since they last ate something, so now felt like a good time to grab a bite to eat.

"What should we eat?" SMG2 asked.

"I dunno." SMG1 said, "Look around the trash, see what we Meme Guardians can find."

Taking his partner's advice, SMG2 looked around the alleyway for something to eat until he came across a box of nuts. The yellow meme guardian giggled and reached inside to grab a nut, perhaps he and SMG1 could eat those.

"Hey, SMG1. Look!" SMG2 Exclaimed, showing SMG1 what he found, "I found a nut, wanna eat some nuts."

SMG1 glared at his silly partner. "No." He said firmly, pointing at SMG2, "No nuts. This is No Nut November; we don't eat nuts in November. People don't need nuts during a time like this."

"Aw man." SMG2 lowered his head sadly and dropped the nut back into the box.

The blue meme guardian looked at how sad his friend was, his stern demeanor faltered and he pat SMG2 on the shoulder with a solemn look on his squared face.

"We can have nuts another time, good friend." He said, "Just not right now. There are other foods we can eat. Why don't we find a sandwich somewhere."

"Ooh, sandwich." SMG2 said with a giggle.

The two guardians hugged and left the alleyway, leaving the nut box behind as they went to get something to eat.

-A couple weeks later-

Snow rained down upon the Mushroom Kingdom and the sound of jingle bells carried across the air.

Christmastime had come and everyone was ready for the most festive season of all before the year came to an end. All across the land, everyone had decorated and all looked decent from the lights to the ornaments that all adorned the Christmas Trees.

Even Omnia Academy was looking at its best for the season, every hall and classroom was decorated with lights to stockings to trees and ornaments everywhere, even a banner with the words "happy holidays" hung upon the academy's wall in the main hallway.

SMG1 and SMG2 were relaxing in their spacious and luxurious office, they'd gotten the job as Meme Research teachers weeks ago and all had gone well for them, despite an incident with Mario just several days prior when the plumber had gotten infused with too much meme energy.

SMG2 sat at the desk, looking at photos of Santa Claus, everyone's favorite fellow who came around Christmas to give amazing gifts to all the good little kids around the world. The story of Santa was quite incredible to think about, even SMG2 wished he could meet Santa in person one day if he got lucky.

As a matter of fact, until he and SMG1 came to the Mushroom Kingdom, SMG2 had never heard of Santa Claus.

They'd lived their entire lives in the ToyToy Kingdom with their friend Spudnick and that universe didn't have the same traditions, customs and cultures that this world had, it was all just nonstop fun there all until the day Zero had arrived.

Here, experiencing these human traditions, cultures and everything else this universe and the Mushroom Kingdom had to offer was so incredible and unforgettable for SMG2. The meme guardian never felt so alive, even SMG1, who was wearing a Santa hat on his head in honor of the season, was in a good mood.

"Hey, Two." The blue-squared meme guardian said.

"Yeah, One?" SMG2 replied.

"You wanna get somethin' to eat?"

SMG2 brightened up. "Actually, yes." He said, "I think I'm kinda hungry."

"Well, I got somethin' for ya."

SMG1 hopped off his chair and headed towards a wrapped package that sat on the nearby stool. SMG2 came over, looking curious about the gift SMG1 had. His fellow meme guardian unwrapped the package and opened it up, then, to SMG2's surprise, he reached into the open box and pulled out a plate full of...

"Oh. My. Gosh!" SMG2 said with amazement, "YOU GOT ME NUTS!"

"You wanted nuts a month ago, remember?" SMG1 replied.

"SMG1, th-thank you so much."

"Wanna eat 'em?"

SMG2 was more than happy to eat some nuts. He dove in and began munching down on some nuts, eating them up. SMG1 chuckled and he too began to eat some nuts.

In fact, they both got nuts.

Both SMGs devoured all the nuts that were available on the plate, enjoying the taste of them until the nuts were gone and the plate was empty. SMG2 belched and drank some water to wash his meal down, he felt very happy, knowing that he finally had some nuts.

"Waiting through No Nut November was worth it, eh?" SMG1 remarked to his pal.

"Oh yeah!" SMG2 chuckled, "And that was so good, I want more."

SMG1 chuckled, "Ya wanna get nuts. Then let's get nuts. Oh man, we are so nuts, the two of us."

"Yes, we are, one. Let's go nut crazy!"

Laughing in agreement, SMG1 and SMG2 cleaned up their nut plate and then left the room to go find more nuts to eat, this was the best Christmas that any meme guardian could ever have in their entire existence...
