D3: The Mighty Ducks Re-Imagined
Warnings: For this chapter we get a said single scene in training, before the term starts, as they quickly bond to Orion. And then Orion gets said phone call from Casey's twin brother on Peter and Karp. And what they did this time to get put under his supervision at the school. This is going to be a re-imagining of D3: the Mighty Ducks as Charlie meets Orion at the start of the summer, as their lives are fused together.
As they prepare for what their future brings now, and as Charlie learns the truth that their new coach is friend of their current's. And with it, that Orion is his real father and he has a life outside of the team. This is also going to leave out the tv show, so an alternate reality story. But the other clip to this is going to show a few situations of Orion's coming into the picture, just before Charlie chose him as their back up coach.
Disclaimers: The Mighty Ducks don't belong to me, the story belongs to me, everything else belongs to the disney company.
Chapter 6: Practice, Sponsors And Preparations
Training And The Summer Starts:
"Six months, I been working with him for 6 months that he's as good as I am, that these two never see it coming, as the off season games now how far and how good we have done. And him as the true face of the team as captain, wearing it not." he said and she nodded. "No kidding, but was that really necessary, boys, especially you-you little fluffballs?" Buckley said with a chuckle and the duo and Adam nodded smiling, as they heard a peep as they refocused.
"At least that's not the cat, but we keep this up the room is turning into a zoo next." Jesse said, laughing, at Huey's response to the demo then. "I see why you considered him your secret weapon, he gets ready to shoot, then get down and take cover." Linda said over the wall to them and the 10 nodded to her gently. "Just wait till you see us in action though, we're doing this every year in Richfield now, Lin." he said and she smiled at that as she looked at him then.
"Whoa!" one their class peers said in shock. "Brandon, you saw him in action for 4 years buddy, you know the dangers here." Charlie called out and he nodded. "Yeah, but that was peewees this is 8th grade to high school, but a good nickname for him is Hercules here. He loses control of his strength, hit the deck here!" he called back and Orion nodded in agreement. "Yeah that's an understatement, but knowing why these guys are afraid of his shot comes in handy now."
"But son take it easy, before you break another window." he said and Fulton nodded gently to him, as Gordon hid a smile then at his responses. "Jeez man, Fulton watch where you're aiming here, before you knock us in there, after knocking Alex in there with it!" Adam said and he nodded gently. "After that demo, yeah I agree with that right now." Madigan said gently and Orion nodded to that. "Gets better, watch this." Gordon said and Charlie said up a dummy then.
As a goalie, said dressed in black and nodded to Fulton. "Fulton shoot." he said and fired off as it went flying across the room and slammed into the dummy and knocking it into the goal and Linda winced and Orion nodded. "Black jersey, so let me guess, Iceland and the Hawks?" Buckley asked and he nodded. "And we just added the Varsity Hawks to the list." Charlie said and Orion nodded to him. "Fulton, pull back from 90 to 65 in mph's." he said and Fulton nodded.
"Yeah good idea, though it's going to sting, it's not going to put someone in the hospital, after that demo, one guy got a concussion and a whiplash from being knocked in there with it. And the other took it to the helmet after his defense tried to catch it right now." Hancock said sternly to that realization of how lethal it was. "That's like Roengartner's fastball, and that's going so fast, it could take your head off." Adams said, watching from the bleachers gently then gently.
"Yeah point made, he gets ready to shoot, everybody take cover now." Madigan said to the demo, now knowing her student's shot was lethal. "Despite my calling out to duck now, Don Tibbles, he thought I meant Duck like a real Duck or them as their team name as I hit the deck. But he took it right to the head, while Gordon found out the hard way what his firing and from the alley results in after it struck his side of the car." Mchelle Mackay said and she nodded then.
"I can't believe these brats, as they know your code name, but they ever consider your shot, you don't reduce your speed, it could put someone in the hospital." Buckley said in shock and he nodded gently. "And now I get the point, your shot Fulton, is a lethal weapon, son, ease back on your strength, before you break another window." Parker said in amazement and he nodded. "Like I said he's great at breaking windows right now." Gordon said and the faculty nodded.
"And my side of the team has the real firepower, him being the said, after he got ready to fire, they all got out of the way and Jesse took it the rest of the way." Charlie said and they nodded smiling. "Best guess after 6 months going without it, I don't need it to prove I'm captain, that shows in everyway possible to you." he said and Orion smiled at that gently. "There's my boy, but yes that's the point, the symbol means nothing, the authority behind, everything, boys."
"But you controlling your sides of the team between you, and you're ready by the time we reach the first game." he said and Charlie nodded. "Better just do that one now, if he gets put back on the team here right now." Julie said and Russ and Charlie nodded in agreement then. "Okay, since Peter's words were coming out in my voice, when we got back in the locker room. All of you were irritated, so with that, the guy hooked me alright." he said and Kenny said it sternly.
"We didn't need anymore goals." he said and he snapped at him. "Hey listen, I was trying to win it." he said and Averman said it in annoyance. "Well mission not accomplished Peter!" he said and he got in his face. "You let down, simple as that." Guy said and Connie nodded. "Hey you let down, we played hard." she said and Luis nodded. "Yeah man no heart." he said and he said it in annoyance as he looked between them. 'Uh oh.' Orion thought, exchanging looks with Buckley.
'Guys bring it down in there, I'm coming in.' Orion thought to that reaction. "Well what the heck are we playing for anyway: some stupid school, the alumni. Warriors, what the hell are we now?!" he asked and Russ got in his face. "Hey look man we're in on scholarship, I'm staying." he said and Fulton said it in disgust as he pretended to be Karp. "Fine sale out." he said and he looked at him. "Hey who are you calling sell out, you little punk?!" he said, shoving him back.
As Charlie switched demeanors as he shoved his arm between him and Fulton as he said it then sternly. "Break it up now guys, knock it off, Peter so help me god right now, you control that temper right now, but we're not 10 years old anymore here. We have to grow up, I been leading the team for 2 years now, and after 6 months training by my father. I'm beyond good, but what the heck was that out there exactly right now, what you hate our new Jersey's, our life here."
"New jerseys, what is it you hate about life here exactly, we're still ducks, just on real games, in school games we wear these. But we're the Eden Hall Mighty Ducks, nee' J.V. team now, we have an image to up-hold here, but you blow our image. And by that reaction, just what the heck is the matter with you, are you taking drugs, drinking, drinking the energy drinks. What Peter, what, dad said stay clean, alright that's it, as of now you're benched till further notice."
"And don't say just because my dad is the coach I get to make decisions, I'm captain of this team, I'm fully responsible for you. So can it, but you been gone so long things don't change back just because you say they should, we got our schedule. And we got a way to deal, but what, you jealous that everyone treats me with love and trust, but me their perfect child. You the devil's spawn, what for the first time ever, you lost your position as best, get over it, Peter."
"But do you think I'm bad, dad is worse right now, but we're not doing that again, we're his players now, so get used to it. You hate it here, you hate this place, you miss us as your friends, you want to go home, well sorry you two, this is home, so get used to that right now. We're still Ducks we're just teenage Ducks now, but if you're sick of the way things are. The way I run this team and dad with me, then leave right now, because you got two choices, shape up, I mean it."
"So you either shape up or ship out of here, and to answer said question, did going here and training under my father change me. No I just grew up, I got a girlfriend, I have my dad back, I have a baby sister, I changed and grew up. I have no need for the symbol to prove I'm a captain and leader of the team, and that reaction was not necessary. What is the problem, I just asked a simple question and you get violent, what, what did I do for that reaction, huh, what I do."
"But just what is the matter with you right now!" he said and the 13 flinched at that, knowing he was going to kill him for that. "Alright break it up in here!" Orion called out, pretending to shove the door open and they went to attention. "What the…, oh my god, Uncle Ted you better see this, there's paper scattered all over the office in here." Connie said and he pretended to crash his office door open and take a look. "Gets better, dad." he said and he nodded at the reveal.
"These are the extra strength energy drinks, damn it, I told you stay clean, young man, what the heck was that!" he said and they ended it at that. "If you and Adam were pitted against each other, that's the episode where Rita put them under a spell. The bet was Jason won, he became the leader of the team, if Austin won, Jason turns his power coin in. But after realizing, it was back to working together again, they broke the spell, only Peter is Jason under said spell."
"And you're Austin, while Adam is Jason after they became the best of friends and with that in mind now." Connie said to that reaction. "Yeah okay, okay, Charlie you made your point here, that's them, but not us, we been together so long, we're happy. We like our new uniforms, we're enjoying playing under your father, why change back, we like it like this. But bro calm down, easy man, you don't need to vocally rip him a new one here." Russ said, grabbing his arm then.
"Just age my voice 20 years now, who do you hear here exactly?" he asked and they looked at Orion and Orion and Buckley nodded then. "And that's my reaction exactly, paraphrased in coach and father, but 'how long does it take to score a goal…, less then a second. That means there is no lead that is safe, if you can't play defense, now get this straight. I don't give a damn how many goals you score, I want one number on your mind, zero, as in shut out, you got that?!'."
"That's coach, in father it's, 'Damn it young man, that reaction was not necessary right now, are you drinking, I told you to stay clean, no I don't want to hear it. Until you control that temper and stay sober, you're benched till further notice, but practice, tomorrow morning. At 5a.m., if you're not here at the school, I'm going to get you myself.', if that was him. With you, is 'I know you miss your godfather, son, but that reaction was uncalled for, just cool down we can talk.'."
"We can talk about this, but right now I need to run damage control, all of you just cool down, and clean up in here." Orion said and they nodded. "And I really don't blame you for being furious and to say it again, I'd have preferred a loss to a win like this. Or just a tie, because our image has been permanently destroyed by those idiots in public." Adam said and he nodded. "I know, but you can learn a heck of a lot more from losing then from winning right now in truth."
"But your brother, possibly injured here because he, that's Marks and Karp are on something right now, I'm not taking it well here. But your brother lost a few games, before you took on your new name, failure is how you learn in truth here. Winning you learn nothing, it just feeds your arrogance, losing you keep your humility now." he said and the team nodded. "Off season Games on Saturdays, and we got scrimmages for the next 12 weeks." he said and they nodded.
"What you want a bet that the duo come to our first off season game, and now see in that time, how far we advanced without them?" he asked and Orion nodded sternly. "No bet, but I don't doubt they will, as they see without them you're one mind about everything now. Today's just the beginning, but 1 week in, 2, 3, you guys are so in tune with each other. With me, we're 1 mind in 18 bodies now, that they realize this is real pack behavior." he said and Charlie nodded.
"Been together 6 months, I never felt so alive in training, but what 6 months does to you, as it's like if we met 4 years ago, and now they see what not giving you a chance results in." he said and Orion smiled at that remark. "Yeah 6 months and they're seeing us in action, as we put our new regime to use now, with my being your coach. And if we ever get chosen a second time for the goodwill games, I'm having you with me at all times." he said and the 17 nodded gently.
"Watch it there, it's like having a sleepover and instead of 1 or 2 friends over, we got the entire team now and the ending results here. Said are pillow fights that have the pillow getting thrown over the bannister." Charlie said and he nodded smiling. "And it's dead duck walking if these guys blow our reputation now." Adam said and he nodded as they exchanged looks. "We get why, but if he's medically compromised, he's benched." Buckley said and they nodded then.
"In truth now that he did that, there's no excuse he can give we can accept for why he attacked your brother that viciously for a simple question. They been out of action so long they're not in tune the way the 14 of you are together, with you, Adam, on Varsity currently. But I got to talk your father down, Charlie, before he breaks his wrist in the weight room on that punching bag. He was controlling it in the game, before his reprimand." he said and the duo nodded gently.
"Just give us this season and we can show we can become perfect students to you, once the bullies leave the school, we can make a nest here." Charlie said and he nodded as he looked at him in affection. "And to say it in my voice, after you said my opinion, I already watched you jeopardize your hockey career, I will not allow you to do it to your studies." Casey said and he pretended to be Peter. "You have no idea what it's like playing for this guy." he said to her then.
"I don't care who your coach is, Ted or Coach Bombay, your behavior out there was juvenile." she said and he tried to put the blame on Orion. 'Young man, that reaction was all you, you broke your stick, and injured my son, there is no excuse for that.' Orion thought as he said it out loud. "Well yeah, because Coach Orion…" he started to say and she shot up her hand. "Because Coach Orion nothing, you used to feel the same way about Coach Bombay, you remember."
"Well I think that the only thing that needs to change around here, is your attitude problem." she said and he looked at her in shock. "What, oh give me a break, what happened, since Karp and I left the team, did they brainwash them?!" he said in shock. "No we just grew up, I have a baby sister, and I'm engaged to my high school sweetheart now. But that reaction was uncalled for, you're benched till further notice," Charlie said, pretending to come in behind him at that.
"How bad is it, baby?" she asked and he nodded. "A few cracked ribs, but Coach Henderson, the school medical trainer, said I'm skipping the Cardinal game till my ribs heal here." he said and she nodded. "You get hit a second time, whoever did it is in big trouble." she said and they ended it at that remark. "Engaged after 6 months, that's fast." Guy said and Linda nodded. "You have no idea." she said and their parents started laughing at that and Buckley nodded smiling.
"Hey Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Anderson." Charlie said and her parents smiled gently. "Charlie, I came up with a new design for your out of school jerseys, with you playing your peers. In between seasons at the moment." Jan called out and he nodded as he skated up to him and they got a look. "The orange is bordering on fire engine red, so deepen the red, but otherwise that looks great right now with our current symbol, still red and white, still the ducks, this is us now."
"So yeah, that looks perfect, green, red and white, so green and red stripes, and white front with our new Duck symbol on them. We still look like ourselves, just dressed in a new design till we deal with said supposed grudge match." he said and Orion took a look and nodded smiling. "Yes indeed, that's our school symbol for the jerseys and sweatsuits guys, this is us. When in our version now, till you get your current jerseys back." he said and Jan smiled at his approval.
"Alright, here we go." Charlie said, taking out a marker, and and made the orange darker to match their training jerseys, adding a green and gold stripe over the red bottom. And then their new symbol to it as the ducks then, and added a red lining to the collar then. "Our numbers and names on the back of these, but our helmets in high school have our numbers now. Peter was #24, Karp #11, we discontinued them on the team since." he said gently and Orion nodded.
"After getting thrown of the team you deactivated their numbers on the roster, till now if they get reactivated. But we added 6 new numbers to the roster since then, well boys, your numbers never changed, now." he said and Charlie nodded gently. "We're dressed like this now on the rink or off it now, jackets and sweatsuits like this, in training. Said is the same coloring, so we're your team now, dad." he said and Orion nodded smiling, at his coloring it to their school now.
"Red arms and bottom, with a gold and turquoise stripe, a red neck band and then a gold circle around the team symbol as teenage ducks now. Yeah that looks good, I know that's you as you are now, but a month dressed like this, everyone. Now, knows I'm your new coach and by then we been adjusted completely you know that tone in my voice. Got used to it, and we're a team now, it's become normal, so this is the team symbol, that's the team in jerseys right now."
"So you're dressed in sweatsuits like this, baseball caps colored to this, and your new sweaters are carrying the team logo on the back of them. As the first game of the school season, means a contest for captaincy, and you're getting your C back. If he blows our image in a temper tantrum, because he's been out of sync with you guys since 1994." he said and Charlie nodded gently. "Yep, his school jacket bears the captaincy symbol now." Connie said and they nodded.
"Six months dressed like this, everyone is going to realize we look better like this, then whoever turned our team into a power house. But this is the last and final design in uniforms as the Mighty Ducks, because soon it's time for retirement. For the rest of us, though you're going all the way, as you had three copies of our jerseys, the last now. Was this stage, before we graduated from high school and we're still your father's team." Adam said and he nodded then.
"Yeah compared to this." he said, creating the power house version to their team jersey and Orion crossed his arms. "You people trying to drag my team name through the mud, I don't think so, you little hotshots, it's not about winning. In fact it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game, we're a school team now in high school. But we stick to the old school uniforms in the peewees, but want to go there you hot shot, that attitude is getting you nailed."
"You're as bad as Reilly is, 'if you can't be great in hockey, then don't bother', what kind of message is that in hockey, we play for fun, we're not bullies." he said sternly and the team smiled. "If our successors destroy you, it's because they went back to basics, and we taught them enough that you lose everything and have to switch countries, just like Stanton. But you don't own any of the plays we created here." he said and they heard a shout out then gently.
As they saw a boy and one no older then Riley and Orion crossed his arms. "You're the little brat doing that huh young man, I don't think so, your attitude says you grew up a Hawk. But our team was born on unconventional training, working as one, here's the look we represent." he said, showing him the image of the new version of the jerseys. "And currently we're a school team, while Anaheim changes their look from fire engine red to orange with that same striping."
"Young man, that attitude is beyond being a bully, but the peewee Ducks are under me and Gordon, Gordon does basic training, I have high school to pros, but peewees. They stick to the original looks, not the crap you turned them into now, every maneuver belongs to us. Gavin is an old friend of mine, he would agree with this, but want to get rough here. Just a sore loser after your successor cost you your job as the head Coach of the Ducks, grow up young man."
"Grow up, our ways are better, but you turned us into the very thing we hated the Hawks, not going to happen here right now, when Gordon is not here. I'm in charge, so find a new team to destroy the reputation of." he said and the 17 year old swallowed hard at that remark shaking then. "You becoming the third coach of this team, don't think so young man, you are not turning this team into tyrants." he said then, stabbing his finger into the other boy chest, sternly then.
And he backed up then at that response as he swallowed hard then. "What 30 years does to you, we were the true Mighty Ducks, before you wrecked our reputation now. There is going to be no reunion Gala, no climb right to the top, no if you can't be great in hockey. Well then don't bother in remarks, this team is staying who we are now, built on unconventional ways. We stand tall and we fly straight, we fly all the way to the top." he said sternly and he started shaking.
"Agreed, we stick to the old look and they learn what it means to be winners, but having fun, games should be fun, we enjoy ourselves, but we work." Gordon said and he nodded. "Don, can you get me three more stock contracts, food products: say soda, candy and popcorn. We sell your products, and 1/4 of that goes to the Banks, the team gets 1/4, charity now. You and David's company are clothes and hockey gear right now, so we add food to this, we advertise."
"And sell, and split the amount 4 ways here now, you get the 4th, we sell your goods, and the team now, gets their paychecks this way?" he asked and he nodded. "You got a done deal Ted, I can go to whoever I can find and we sell their products." he said and they nodded. "Talk about getting the public attention needed to drive the point home, not worth winning. If you can't win big, how big is donating to the children's cancer research." Gordon said and he nodded then.
"That's just the point, we're cleaning our district up and showing we can change, but not worth winning if you can't win big, how big is every child just like Winny. Saint Jude's research branch here in Minneapolis now, we're raising the money, and driving my point home. If these brats have money for going to a school like this, cars and fancy clothes, or to pay. For cruel practical jokes, then just where is the money to help a team mate." he said sternly and the team smiled.
"But the brats never considered paying further stock, we just grabbed 4 of their stocks and are selling it faster then they can get it out. But amounts per one, we start at the first game, so $0.50 for a full size candy bar, $1.00 for a king size. $1.50 for a baggy the size of a lunch bag of bite size mixed, and $2.00 for a fun size package of those same candy bars now. Soda and popcorn now, are $1.00 for a small, $1.50 a medium, $2.00 a large, XL is $2.50 in size now."
"Our paychecks, the kids, are coming through Hendrix, the rest of it, for 4 stocks, or 5, is going to sponsoring the Ducklings now." he said and Gordon nodded smiling at the idea as Charlie said it. "No go it a quarter cheaper here, dad on the soda and popcorn now right now, so $0.75, for a small, $1.00 for a medium, $1.25 for a large and $1.50 for an XL now." he said and Orion nodded. "Fair enough and that's a great idea right now, we go that way." he said and he nodded.
"Perfect we go it that way now, we stay the same, nothing changes, but I got basic training, you have advanced now." he said and Orion nodded smiling then. "Like I said, we had one great mentor and now we get a second, so we stand tall and we fly straight. So this year, it's we're going all the way guys." Charlie said and they smiled. "Talk about year round sales, we're selling these things so quickly, they're running out in the school areas." he said and Buckley chuckled.
"Hey Gordon!" they heard and he looked at the Goodwill Games reps. "Hey I'll take the job, but I'm working from home here training the next generation to my team. My current squad are being trained by Captain Orion's father, with a new appearance to the jerseys now." he said and they nodded. "Fair enough and that's fine Gordon, but I heard that and you're right at the moment, so if you're up to another we're fine with that." he said and they both nodded gently.
As Charlie leaned against his shoulder, and Orion smiled gently, knowing he was being a son to his father. "Hey all future ducks joining the flock, I need you to listen to me now, but though we're very good, the one thing to remember. Is it's not about winning, it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game, but winning. It's repeated success feeds the arrogance, losing a game here or there is fine, keeps you humble, otherwise you turn into a Hawk now."
"Our team created the act of community spirit, we're doing fundraisers for the children's hospital, so not worth winning if you can't win big. How big is every child just like the catalyst for this decision now, our team now, is doing stocks. Buy stock in the companies, we sell their products for them now, okay, we sell their products, the money goes to Charity." Orion called out and every future young Duck nodded smiling at the remark as Charlie called it out gently.
"But stand tall and fly straight future ducks, we're a flock, a family, stick together, we fly as one, as this is our version's last year, always remember our beginning. We lost a game here or there, when we started out as our current version, but that kept us humble. We look at our mistakes and correct them for the next game, but our team name created the act of new. New and unconventional plays to get through it, we had a great coach, and now my version here now."
"It gets another generation created, after Coach Bombay finishes out with us now, you begin, remember, for us, our primary rival are the Hawks. Our motto is Stand tall, fly straight, fly all the way, we're a flock, we stick together, we're family as a flock, remember that." he said and their incoming members nodded smiling as Gordon smiled. "I'm the JC guys, that's Junior Coach, so when the Coach is not here, I'm in charge, so you're learning from me here now."
"But always remember, there is no I in team, we work as one as a team and secondly, it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game now. Future Ducklings, remember us like this, you take our place in the peewees guys, stand tall and fly straight, Ducklings. You are the future of our team, the legacy we leave behind, in the peewees now." he said and they nodded smiling, "Quack!" he called out and they said it. "Quack quack!" they called back to him smiling.
"Hey Ted long time, buddy!" they heard get shouted and he looked up. "Gavin Cole, hey buddy long time right now." he said and he smiled. "So that's the new pro design now, the red arms and shirt, gold and green stripes, with white back behind the hockey masks and crossed sticks. Yeah their designer is going to love this, let me guess, that would be the power house, your peewee successor shot down to bring your colors back." he asked and Charlie nodded sternly.
"Yeah and here's question, what kind of message is 'if you can't be great at hockey, then don't bother.'." he asked and Cole nodded disgusted at that. "Yeah no kidding, that really is beyond arrogant, these are good students, but the Ducks were born on unconventional training. But you sound like Reilly, that's no way to treat a child, they should be able to have fun here. Not be worrying about winning constantly, but it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play."
"As in the case of being Ducks, you're growing your wings in and learning to fly, so cut it out, stretch those wings and fly, guys." he said and Charlie smiled at that. "Been in training by pros, bringing back our ways, and we're showing them what it means to be a Duck. So you ignorant fool, want to go there, you're sum age, I went all the way, and Coach Bombay. He has me returning to the fore, to lead them with Gav' at my side." he said and Cole smiled at his remark.
"Yep, you are 40, I'm 55, and you're the best at what you do buddy, show the power house what it means to be a Duck kiddo, give them all you got." he said, patting him on the shoulder. "Alright we show these hotshots what it means to be a Duck, but like I said, wearing a Ducks jersey doesn't make you a real Duck. You have to earn it, and you, you cake eater, definitely didn't, Coaches Bombay, Cole and Uncle Ted are great mentors." Jesse said to that smiling then.
"Yeah this looks pretty cool right now, we can get used to this, dressed in a high school version to our pro jerseys now, matching our colors to the school colors now." Russ said and the 15 nodded smiling in agreement to that. "We're sticking to our numbers in school now too, but our new varsity jackets have this on them. So the Eden Hall Mighty Ducks, and with the Showdown we dress in our real ones." he said and the team nodded smiling in agreement to that gently.
"Hey Don, there's our new set for school, along with the helmets!" Orion shouted out and the Hendrix sponsor nodded. "Sweat suits as well, they're dressing in new school versions to these, so the entire get up, for playing hockey, white helmets." he said and Don Tibbles nodded, as he looked at the image and nodded, as he took it. "Going to be ready in 2 weeks guys." he said and they nodded. "First game dressed like this, in the off season." Charlie said smiling then to that.
"So with that in mind here, is the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks are me #96 Charlie Orion, #99 Adam Banks, #00 Guy Germaine, #01 Terry Hall, #02 Tommy Duncan. #04 Lester Averman, #05 Tammy Duncan. #09 Jesse Hall, #18 Connie Moreau, #33 Greg Goldberg, #44 Fulton Reed. Our new players are #06 Julie "The Cat" Gaffney, #07 Dwayne Robertson, #16 Ken Wu, #21 Dean Portman, #22 Luis Mendoza, and #56 Russ Tyler, that's the current line up now."
"So we get the duo back, their numbers #11 David Karp and #24 Peterson Marks." he said and Tibbles nodded gently. "So we got your numbers and we know who's who now, to know, that with you dressed alike on the team we know that if you're standing in front of your box. Then it was Marks that just destroyed his stick." Parker asked, crossing his arms across his legs and he nodded. "Exactly, but these jerseys are us as your version now." he said and they nodded then.
A few days of practice and they were ready, after undergoing his training, that the news just came back. "Hey guys your stuff is ready." Tibbles said and they nodded smiling, as they applied that set up to the training gear, in one set and real in the other. As they smiled, and took their new school gear for it. "This one is us currently in training, the other is us when as a school team, so everyone, wear the sweater jackets at school." Charlie said and they nodded gently.
"Good news, I got the Pepsi company, if we're doing food sells here, aside from candy and popcorn, I got the hotdog company. Said is the Ball Park hotdogs, they sell hot dog buns as well, so them, Orville Redenbacher popcorn. And the Mars and Hershey companies involved, they agreed to your proposal now here right now. Everything you sell gets split 4 ways, so, and like us, they're your sponsors now as well." he said and they nodded smiling sternly then gently.
"The Pepsi company owns the Fritos/Lays chips, the vending machines now at the school carry both companies in candy, the chips, and Pepsi products." Orion said and he nodded gently. "Nice we're selling their products and we can get multiple ways to sell these right now. And all school year right now, without worrying about not getting enough out, Ted." Hancock said to him. "Yep, the fundraisers are not enough, we're updating the vending machines." he said and he smiled.
"Whoa, we already got you 4 in stocks already, guys!" Buckley said smiling and they nodded gently. "Well doing it the way you have is wasting time and money, so we decided to pick up the pace by the Ducks this way." the Hershey rep said and he nodded. "Fair enough here, we don't mind, as the more we sell, and the more profits you make this way. Looks like the hotshots never considered this, the Ducks buy out the contracts and start selling everything here now."
"Well boys now what exactly, you're not looking at all the options here, this is basically like Willy Wonka, only the rich kids are getting everything for free. But the ones that deserved it even more are people like the Buckets now." Buckley said and he nodded. "I don't think they ever looked at that exactly Dean, the others are all from rich families. With money to spare, but the one that got the last ticket is from our neck of the woods." Goldberg said and he nodded gently.
"Hey Dean that okay, we start another tradition, before school lets out for summer, is a school barbecue and serving hotdogs and burgers. And with it now here, is we got the end of year baseball game, JV/Varsity, so the school is enjoying the last day of school. With a picnic, and the quartet have their sports used, Baseball and Soccer?" Charlie said and he nodded. "Yeah that's fine right now, the more we sell the higher the revenue gets, but end of the year barbecue."
"Hamburgers and hotdogs, along with chips and soda now, and that takes up 3/4's of the stocks when once you set the sells for it." he said and Orion nodded. "Yeah I know, but to answer that right now, is $1.00 for a hot dog, $0.50 for a baggie chips, that size. And $1.00 for a medium whatever Pepsi, just 3 bucks gets you all of this." Charlie said and Orion smiled. "Hamburger, cheeseburger or just a hotdog, to be exact, is a $1.00." Connie said and he and Gordon smiled.
"Okay so said entree is $1.00, a baggie of chips that size or the next size up is $0.50 to $0.75, and a medium whatever Pepsi drink is $1.00, the entire meal for only $3.00." Buckley said smiling at their idea gently and Orion, Hancock, and the other coaches nodded smiling as Gordon said it for all of them then gently, as he looked at Orion then smiling. "Sounds about right, we're using them up faster then they can sell it with 1,800 students at the academy now."
"Plus you as the staff and faculty at the moment, enjoying a final day, as that day was, to the grade school now, Field Day, before school lets out for summer now. And to us it was the end of the year picnic now, before year comes to an end, that and a baseball game now. The school during the baseball season, has a case of selling hotdogs at the school now. But hotdogs, popcorn, candy and sodas, the purchases are going so fast we're losing track here in amounts."
"As we split the revenue 4 ways and we're staying ourselves." he said and he nodded gently then. "But guys, before we do this, we're not doing this the way the kid on Gary's movie did, my kids are children, they want to enjoy their hockey careers. Before they graduate and start college, we're selling your products for you at the school and games. But we're doing what the Hawks and their parents are refusing to here." he said and the quintet nodded to the request.
"That's fine and we can agree to that Coach Orion, Coach Bombay, the profits are split 4 ways every year now, we keep this up." the leader of the quintet said and they nodded. "Peter so help me god, you lose it, you're benched, we got an image to uphold here. And our sponsors are not endorsing a team with a couple hot headed unsportsman-like conduct attitudes here." Charlie said sternly and his father nodded sternly as they signed the contracts with both their names.
"They leave the team, they're not coming back in, I'm not taking any beef from them, but there is no fast return to the team here." Charlie said and Orion nodded in acceptance. "Agreed, they leave and there is no fast return to the team, but they lose their tempers here. And they're benched till further but as Jason said, he needed help in controlling them here. But you and I had our bond in place and though in practice, I was actively getting involved in training."
"But the first loss of control, in them attacking you for being worried, or because they screwed up said shot, after us spending 7 months together. Said is having them being benched, they're at practice, but otherwise they're benched, son." he said and Charlie nodded. "Good enough, Russ, you're next in command of the Red squad, Fulton 3rd in command. But guys, we work as one during practice, our side of the team has the big fire power." he said and they nodded then.
"Hey guys I got an idea, during the time between breaks, we can arrange said showdowns, since we get a fall break, before Thanksgiving, so we're the first game. The second is Football, the J.V./Varsity games, we're first, so football, basketball, baseball, soccer. These games involve what we would be doing for normal games." Connie said and Buckley smiled at that. "And we're selling the stocks while we're at it, so between breaks, we get a JV/Varsity showdown here."
"Each sport, and enjoy a case of being a real school, as a tribe, or a flock, and the last and final game of the year is the baseball team and that's the school barbecue now." Charlie said and the school faculty nodded to the idea. "We don't need the board's approval for this now, knowing who the hell they are, but that's a great idea, promotes school unity. And at the same time we sell the stocks and getting it out faster, then we have it coming in." he said, smiling to that idea.
"The said 16 is for 13 and younger, we're upping it to 32, for the teenagers and adults both versions for that same price." Jesse said and Charlie and Adam nodded. "And that's borderline a dime a piece, so 16 mini bars or funsize, come to a dime to $0.15 a piece. That's beyond cheap, and they sell more that way, so though a bunch of ripped up bags, they got the bars sold. Equally at a price any kid to adult can enjoy now." Adam said and Averman nodded to that then.
"Better double check that guys here, but said 2 weeks between checks, times 26." he said and she covered her eyes. "That comes to $19,500.00, so starting with this year, with the fact we're advertising the gear at the games, at how well the equipment is working out. But the season just ended and we're going one last round between us in the districts. Before we all become school teams now, and 9 months left, just removed $4,875.00 from the amount here now."
"Split what's left down the middle, for this year, so half goes to our parents, for our college education, the rest is this years living allowance." Charlie said and they nodded in agreement. "Agreed we do that then, dad, guys, half the amount for this year is set aside for our college education, we're all going to the same school too, the rest we keep. Next year the amount is 1/2 goes to our education, the rest we hold onto." Jesse said and their parents nodded then gently.
"Good enough, so each amount between the 26 weeks, half goes to your education, the other you keep and use that as your living allowance, 5 years of this. Said starting this year, it then results in the total as a little over 3/4's short of $100,000, in amounts now." Hall said to them and they nodded. "We're going to keep this up for 10 years as the Ducklings take our place now as the next batch of cubs, for the company." Charlie said and the Duckling parents nodded then.
"Don, how much are you paying the kids exactly?" Gordon asked and he explained that. "$500 to $600 every two weeks, each." he said and they nodded. "Okay the total comes $28,600/2=$14,300, half the amount goes to your college education. And the rest your living allowance guys, as this way you got money to spend as you grow now. But at 17, you're getting a bank account set up and the money goes into the bank." Hall said and the team all nodded.
"Alright our paychecks come through Hendrix for dressing in their gear and using their equipment, and we sell the food now." Connie said and Charlie nodded. "Well 5 years builds up quite a bit of revenue that way." he said and Averman said it bemused. "The amount comes to $114,000, for each of us guys." he said and they nodded in shock. "That's our side of it, and our parents use the other to pay off college education." Charlie said sternly and he nodded gently.
"The total comes to, after 10 years, is $286,000.00." Claire said and they nodded. "Alright we split it down the middle, half goes to our college education the other now in truth. It's for our living allowance, so we got a job, as Ducks and work our way though college." Goldberg said and Russ and Jesse crossed their arms sternly at this. "Like I said, free ride: look at you rich boy, mommy and daddy gave you everything now, but we earned those scholarships now, Cole."
"But if you have money to go to school there, clothes and fancy cars, or money to pay for cruel practical jokes, Riley, Cole. Well then just where is the money to help pay for a friend's family member's medical bills?" Russ said, crossing his arms. "What is taking that much time, can be reduced considerably by moderate priced goods, if you bothered to get your heads out of your arrogance and see this, but you did this to yourselves, all we had to do is show up for it now."
"Rephrase what the Coach said, Reilly." Jesse said and the man went pale at that as Adam crossed his arms sternly as Gordon said it again. "That's right, call my team a bunch of losers, but you know what, we would gladly give up our homes for them. What's that say about your current team, Jack?" he asked and he went white, never seeing that then. "But you got a whole team worth of Banks's, one player is not making much of a difference here right now in truth."
"At least we're playing by the rules, but yeah they are losers, and we hate losers don't we, they don't even deserve to live." he said and they crossed their arms. "Guys, I mean you Ducklings, cover up for a second, because your parents are hearing talk you never normally hear from me." he said and the Ducklings covered their ears at that. "Guys you know I mean them now when I repeat this exchange with him in front of you this time." he said and they nodded sternly then.
"Here it comes, this is what Peterson twisted the truth of and I get a front row seat to this finally here." Orion said sternly and Casey, Hall and the rest of their parents crossed their arms then. "Gordon, hey Bombay, you stop when I'm talking to you son, you trying to sabotage me here?" they heard from Reilly then, as the team got ready for it, "Hurts like a bitch when the law starts working against you, doesn't it Jack." Gordon said sternly and he said it quickly at that news.
'Yeah I never normally hear that from him after those guys were sleeping on the job.' Charlie said sternly to himself at that as he looked at Casey then. 'Point taken, I get why he said to cover up in the Ducklings.' Orion thought sternly to that. 'Whoa, I never expected to hear that from him right now.' Casey thought in agreement then. "But you have a whole team worth of Banks's, one player won't make much of a difference." he said sternly and he said it in shock.
"Even with Banks, just what are you trying to prove here, with that bunch of losers?" Reilly said and Gordon said it in a mocking tone then, though protective at that remark, regarding their team as they were then. "That's right, 'they' are losers aren't 'they', and we hate losers don't we, 'they' don't even deserve to live." he said as and Jesse nodded in shock as he and Terry exchanged looks then and Hall nodded sternly, realizing he meant Reilly and the Hawks.
"Again even with Banks gone, one player like him gone won't make much of a difference. At least we're playing by the rules, and for the record, I'm free of you at last right now, I got my team, I'm happy." he said and Reilly said it, in shock. "You been coaching for 30 years, Jack, but thing of it is, that as an adult, Ted and I could do this even better. And even blindfolded right now, Ted, he has a teaching and coaching job at Eden Hall academy right now, but thing of it."
"Now, is I see him coming to the games, and his eyes on Conway right now, but I guess you never considered this, did you, that Adam's brother's team never took his training. But Adam and the 10 do and we're going to destroy you guys now every time here, but Adam now. And we got two girls on this team, never consider the reason why I got Fulton Reed on the team. But Banks now, we both see it this way that we could do this even better and blindfolded here."
"But these kids are not so far gone you turned them into cold blooded killers, as of yet right now, but you're as bad as the father on that hockey episode. So exploiting any chemo patient's if they're 1 or 2 any cancer patient?" he asked and Orion watched him pale at that remark then. "Banks's sister has cancer, doesn't she, and he's desperate to help her, you and his father are exploiting that, that's illegal Jack, and just wait till the judge hears exactly, in why exactly."
"I'd even be calling this into question, but that kid is me, Conway is Ted, but you ever consider every parent in the city hear why you're going about it like this. Putting a certain amount on the goals you make, this could, now, get you arrested for an arraignment. Now if there's an injury so serious right now, it puts said opposing team member in the hospital?" he said and Orion nodded as Charlie leaned against his shoulder gently, realizing he chose him then at the remark.
"But Adam Banks has a lot of potential here, more then those kids you're coaching, but tradition be damned right now Jack, he still has his innocence, and I intend to make sure. Now that boy lives up to his true potential, without him turning into the kid on that episode. And that put an opposing team member in the hospital right now, as he stays under you. This road is leading right to prison, then right to the top, so it's me in your way, that it's once again right now."
"Going to be me that puts you back in second place, but we win that championship, and we go on to bigger and better things." he said with a growl at that and Orion smiled sternly, knowing what was coming. "I just got the news, from Hall, seems that Ted is the best friend of Hall, Monroe's wife, Germaine, Goldberg and Averman now. Knowing that news now, it means that Conway is Ted himself, and Adam is me now, as such right now, it's adding him to my team."
"But I been hearing from Hall constantly here over Marks and Karp, saying Hall can and could use a little help. And funnily enough, Ted's personality as a coach, matches Hall exactly, Hall is the only to control these guys, Ted's retired from NHL. He made contact with me, but he said it directly, I ever need him to take over, he's going to do it right now, Reilly. But you never knew the brotherly bonds between us and he hates you for that, we make it to the championship."
"But that pep talk is in a real coach mode between me and Conway, or Orion, if Ted is his father, as he looks just like him at that age, if one of your guys trips him or whatever. But we're free of you, being hawks, as we either got even better coaches training us. Or we just use what you taught us against you now, but what I guarantee right now here. Is that starting now your team now has it's new rival and carrying two of us. Us being the Hawks of 1973, only now here."
"Now we're adults and we're using what you taught these guys against you, like the books now starting now and I tell him what I know on this, then Ted and I know he's going to see it. In the same way, Ted and me, a duo, us against the entire world once again. Well this time it's us against you, he'd take the coaching job, if I asked him too right now, Jack. As he's hated you ever since the 1973 championship game, so me or him, we're in your way starting now."
"For the rest of their hockey careers, but traditions be damned here, we got our own, but win or lose, we're not you at the end of the day, so still a good day." he said and they heard a shocked tone then as Reilly said it then. "You remember Ted, as in Ted Orion, or to you Teddy Orion, but we're not kids anymore here right now in truth. Conway is like Ted, and Banks is me, before you destroyed me, well time to fix a repeater right in truth here, as this time it's the Hawk/Ducks."
"In your words, he's just as good as I was, but that skill is the same as martial arts, you're as bad as the man playing Kreese. Guess it never occured to you that once the district lines get changed, we're free of you. I see it clearly now, that you are an emotionally abusive coach, but I see it, that Banks has a lot of potential. But to prevent what you did to me, I'm getting him away from you, before you destroy his love for the sport and he turns into what I become."
"And before I met Conway and his friends now, my time table is close, but I'm back." he said with a stern growl to him. "Why you turn against me Gordon, for 3 years, I taught you how to skate, I taught you how to score. And I taught you how to go for the W, you could have been one of the greats, and now look at yourself, you're not even a has been, you're a never was." he said and Charlie crossed his arms as he answered that remark, before Orion did it for him then.
"No, at least we never lost our love for the game, Hockey is what we do, not who we are, we do this for fun, not to win at any cost." he said sternly at that and the team nodded in agreement to that. "Point taken Gordon, but hearing you talk like that, I get why you said to cover up, as these guys, our children, are 10, then next age group up is turning 14." the father of the new captain of the team said with a bemused smile then and he nodded gently at that remark.
"And the next question here, after they put that into that movie, is just where did you guys hear that from exactly, if you start with the profanity." Orion said and the team nodded gently bemused. "Whoa hold on, dad, you told him that directly, that Uncle Ted is just like you?" Jesse asked and he nodded sternly. "Family business between us, as your parents to them as your coach, with you going into the school system to start playing now, the Coach is responsible."
"For you, but even better, he's not just any coach now, but our best friend, meaning, we tell him a few things, he puts that into it, and if Peterson tries to leave, he reminds him." he said and they nodded. "I call that growing too attached to the said coach, when the parent and Coach are discussing personal business here." Madigan said and Hall nodded gently. "And when 60% of the new squad are the children of said coach's best friends, and the 7th his son, then now here."
"You got a problem, because the father in said coach goes on a rampage." Casey said and she chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Don't tick him off then!" Guy said and Orion nodded smiling. "To repeat this, hockey is what we do, not who we are, it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game, but new strategy under dad now. We can spend all summer training and we're ready by the end of the summer now." Charlie said and they all nodded to him then.
"But again, where is your brain, you ever think to ask to split the amount 4 ways, one to fund the Hawklets, as we start high school and the next team comes in." he said and Riley senior froze up as she said it for the entire team then. "But question, what stocks do you, as Eden Hall, have invested in?" Connie asked and they turned to see his version the Hawks. "Orville Redenbacher, the Hershey and Mars company, and the Pepsi company." Riley said to her then.
"Oops." Jesse said and the J.V. Hawks looks at the men surrounding Tibbles and paled. "You ever consider JV/Varsity showdowns of every sport in the school, selling the stocks this way. A school barbecue, because a few weeks selling and the vending machines, are wasting time. Time and money the companies do not have." Buckley asked Riley sternly and he swallowed hard. "What about the racing team, their steeple chasers, or the track team here right now, really Tom."
"Your penny pinching ways in the board here at the academy are costing us money, this keeps up, we lose our contracts with the companies we take stock in." he said sternly and he swallowed hard a second time, realizing they never saw that, but the Ducks had then. "Well I think I know the reason here, the school is losing it's publicity right now, and now. It's because you're penny pinching everything till we lose stock in the companies you take stock in now."
"Well time to fix that, Ducks, we control the stocks." Charlie shouted out to them. "Yeah oops alright, well young man, gentlemen, you and your parents should have thought over it. You should have thought this through, only during the games and fundraisers only a few weeks. But how about year round in the sells, you sells our products, the money goes to charity. In 1/4 of it, another to the person, the family now, you tried to raise funds for, the 3rd to your team."
"And in the next one incoming as you become a school team and the last goes to us, but the fact you didn't and the new coach of the Ducks had, you struck out." the Mars company rep said and the Rileys paled at that. "You never see this coming do you, the vending machines, the costs are more then some can afford, while you only sell. In truth here, half the amount during the fundraisers, it's been like this for 10 years right now." the popcorn company rep said sternly.
"And frankly we're sick of this, you're wasting our time in these sells, maybe with the Ducks we can sell more without the prices that high." the Pepsi company rep said and Riley Sr. swallowed and Buckley crossed his arms. "Fast revenue huh Tom, Ted and Charlie, Gordon, did exactly as he promised to do, get some positive revenue coming into the school. As more revenue means more money in the companies we take stock in." Buckley said sternly and they swallowed hard.
"We just bought out those contracts, not just the academy, but the games now, new traditions not if we beat your brothers, but when now, so now what. Jack, you ever think, as the Hawks, of getting a sponsor, get a job, so you can afford school?" Charlie asked and Riley swallowed. "Sponsors are no fun." he said and Charlie smiled. "Depends on the Sponsor, Jack, depends on the sponsor, and you're not selling enough, but we can." he said sternly smiling at him then.
"But guess what, we're making, in a total of 4 years $114,000 for being the poster team of the Hendrix hockey apparel company." he said and they paled. "Half the amount goes to our college education, but 10 years, we make $286,000.00. Where's the complaining, for an underdog team, based purely on this, my counterpart. An inline skater who, out of desperation to help his parents pay the bills, joined the opposing team, but hockey is what we do, not who we are."
"But we're professional players, we're being paid to play, keep that in mind, because your counterparts are all millionaires, who forgot that a long time ago. My dad retired because of this, and he decided to train a team that understands that, we are that team. As such, us skating around town dressed in both street hockey gear, or on the rink dressed as we are now. Hockey is what we do, not who we are, that's why you keep losing to us, I'm the heart of this team."
"Advertising if this was in-line skating, but as Team USA, we're being sponsored by Hendrix hockey apparel here, to advertise their gear right now, which explains our kept up look now." he said and the Hawks paled. "Still sticking to our title 2 years ago, we get another round and we're back during the summer." he said sternly to him. "Oops, we never forgot that part, you're still being sponsored by the hockey apparel company." Parker said smiling and he nodded sternly.
"And of course, we're selling the goods at the global championships, our games now, how can you compete." Russ said smiling sternly and they all went white. "Oops, yeah dead duck walking here right now from that, we're telling the concession let us handle then. And we're dishing out so fast, it's country wide serving here on that." Jesse said smiling and Orion smiled sternly. "I think you can get the point, Jack, 5 sponsors, and we're advertising and selling the stocks here."
"Dressing in their gear, using their equipment, my team is being sponsored by the Hendrix hockey apparel, we, in the teenage ducks get a pay check. As the kids are next in line for that, we're selling the stocks, every year is the same thing, till we graduate from college. And they take up our legacy, but you hotshot are so arrogant you never see it. Because you forgot what it means to be normal, working hard for a living." Charlie said and his father nodded sternly then.
"And to say this from Gene Hackman's point of view, as a pro player, though retired, but you're being paid to play, I guess you little hotshots forgot that part. Because we didn't, we play for fun and keep to the one thing we always knew, not whether you win or lose. But how you play the game, but last game of the season, it's between us, as usual here right now. But Charlie's wager is the punchline right now, so first you and then your brothers right now, the Varsity now."
"But you brats are just like the Socs, have so much money you don't know what to do with, we're slightly poor, but, for a kid from a slightly poor family. $500.00, is like 6 years allowance now, that the amount you get paid when playing a pro, any sport. And you can support your family this way, because your checks are worth thousands, you get paid every two weeks. Now as a sponsored team, same thing, you're advertising the gear and equipment, by dressing in it."
"Using it, inline skating same thing, but though very good gentlemen, you never were chosen to be a sponsored team and that leaves you in the reverse. You're team whatever, they're the sponsored team, but they love the thrill of it here, it's not whether you win or lose. But how you play the game, if they make a made for tv movie now, my son wants to be a pro. A pro hockey player now, skating all over the district showing off their gear, but the stocks now here, boys."
"And are you calling your stock marketers no fun, you know they could yank out and you lose billions in investments at their companies?" Orion asked and they all went white, realizing that was Charlie's point. "You get the point, we're handling the stocks from now on, what we set the costs to, for the other students, they pay for in the vending machines. We have 75 great ideas there at the academy, we can bring higher revenue into it." Connie said sternly to him at that.
"Bad move Jack, you should have thought that through, the school does fundraisers, just sell the stocks in products." Gordon said smiling and Reilly paled at that, realizing he just screwed up so highly, that the school was paying for it now, because the Ducks. Now, took advantage of the stocks and were selling their products for the academy. "You forget something here Jack, the school gets stocks in the popcorn company, and the Pepsi, Mars and Hershey companies now."
"The candy sells, so what does this mean, we bought out four of those stocks, they're our sponsors, the hot dog company added to it. The school had stock in the Scholastic book company as well, moderate priced goods….." Adam asked and Riley froze up at that. "You as hotshots are not selling enough, as it's once a month for a only a few weeks, but us. We can do year round sells of the candy, for the budget we set it to and they sell far more here then this."
"Year round sells, the candy fundraisers at the school, or just currently, regular, king, bite size or fun size, a baggie the size of lunch bag for the last two. In a mixture of said candy bars, how can you sell that much, but $0.50 for a regular, $1.00 for a king size. $1.50 for a baggie of bite size bars mixed, $2.00 for a baggie of those only fun sized…." he said and the Hawks all paled. "But we're setting it to age, so no one has a sugar high and starts bouncing off the walls here."
"So 16 bars at a dime a piece, comes to $1.50 to $1.55, that's the bitesize now, the funsize are $2.00 for the same 16 bars, but that's 13 and younger, so no one takes in too much. Now for the teenagers to adults, it's double that: 32 bars, mini or funsize at $0.15 a piece." Charlie said and the duo nodded. "Fair enough and that's a great idea." the Mars company rep said. "And I call that time and money well spent, instead of at the grocery or pharmacy stores here now."
"You're selling the candy that cheaply, how about us?" the Pepsi company rep asked and he smiled. "That's $0.75 for a small, $1.00 for a medium, $1.25 for a large, XL is $1.50, same is said for the popcorn, and the hotdogs are $1.00, for the entire meal, that's chips, said hotdog and a drink, it's $3.00 exactly." Charlie said and the company reps smiled at the idea. "You got a deal, Charlie, we can go to that price and you sell our stocks." the popcorn company rep said.
"Wait a second, the school is investing in selling our stocks, and you just got us as your sponsors and…." the Mars rep said and smiled. "Kiddo, you really out did said hotshots now, you're selling our goods faster then we can produce them now this way. This is why we're losing profits, the school fundraisers are once a month for a only few weeks. But year round sells this way now, makes the profits come in so fast we lost track." the Hershey rep said to him smiling.
"Bingo Mr. Jenkins, we're doing the school selling for you, at the school fundraisers, so 4 contracts and we've got them all for you now." Charlie said and Buckley smiled at the idea. "I never would have thought of that, with you starting school at the academy, we got you. In running the fundraisers for us, selling the amounts at said numbers, the candy, popcorn. Soda, even the end of the year picnic and baseball game!" Madigan said as she started laughing then.
"Ted you out did yourself here, that's a brilliant way to handle this and you uphold the school image by selling our stocks this way now." Buckley said smiling and he nodded smiling sternly then. "And like you said Jack, it's not worth winning if you can't win big, but how big is Saint Jude's children hospital, their research center here in Minneapolis." he said and Reilly went white at that news, realizing he just used his own coin a phrase against him now at that remark then.
"I'm also paying the team $500 to $600 every 2 weeks, each, for advertising our equipment and apparel." Tibble's boss said and they all paled at that. "So you do the math, young man $550x2x8 months." he said sternly and they swallowed hard at that. "That's $8,800 and that's just this year!" Cole's younger brother said shaking and he nodded. "That's right, but in total after 5 years of this, the total comes to $123,200 for each of them at the time now here."
"So we lose a little bit in cash, no big deal, they're advertising our products showing them off in dressing in them using our hockey gear now, we're their primary paychecks. The other sponsors now are they're selling their products, in food now, and the amounts are coming in faster. Then we can count, so sure you say sponsors are no fun, well depends on the sponsor. When you're not rich and the money helps pay your way through college." Tibbles said and they went white.
"This first year comes to $8,800, then the following year the amount is $28,600x10 years of this, the total comes to, for each of them: $286,000, so in total they get $143,000. And that's 5 years of this exactly, but their paychecks are through us, knowing the kids like I do. I'm paying in cash and I'm staying in Minneapolis as their sponsor representative now." he said and the team smiled. "Massive drawback wouldn't you say, Alex." Adam said and he swallowed hard.
