One plus of a PPV starting and ending earlier, Ariya thinks, is that he's well on his way back to Florida long before the day even ends. Texas to Florida is about a three hour long flight and before he can even fully prepare himself, they're landing, people around him chattering and fussing even though it's not their turn to leave yet, and won't be for awhile yet. He waits his turn like any expert traveler would, and when it's time, departs the plane smooth as can be.

The taxi he'd ordered is waiting once he has his luggage and had made his way outside and he gratefully settles down in the backseat, relieved for the silence of no radio on the way to the hotel he had given the address for.

Once they arrive and he's paid, he's inside, walking briskly past the front desk and to the elevator. He's been here before, he knows the place very well already, and the staff barely blinks an eye at his sudden arrival. Finding Drew's room isn't hard, he's added a No High Flying tag to the Do Not Disturb sign hanging off of his doorknob and Ariya smirks, barely getting to knock twice before the door's unlocked, pulled open, and he's dragged into the room by an overly enthusiastic Drew. "Hello to you too," he greets him with a smirk.

"Took you long enough to get here," Drew grumbles, tugging him closer.

"Hey, you're the one who insisted I limit my private flights. I'm doing my best here," Ariya huffs, leaning into his warmth.

"I know you are," Drew sighs, slinging an arm around him and dragging him deeper into the room. Ariya allows it, staring at the Christmas tree casting a dim glow throughout the room. "They decorated nice this year, huh?"

"They did," Ariya acknowledged. "Our tree looks better though."

"Well, of course it does," Drew says with a fond eyeroll, pressing a loud smack of a kiss against Ariya's temple before letting him go and walking up to the tree. "Here."

Ariya blinks at the small box, then glances back at Drew. "What's this?"

"Guess you'll have to open it to find out," Drew says, rolling his eyes as he shakes the box at Ariya until he gingerly takes it.

"Alright," he mumbles. "I didn't get you anything though."

"Don't worry about it," Drew shrugs, watching closely as Ariya opens the box, then stands and stares at it for the longest time. "Well?"

Ariya looks up, his dark eyes gleaming in the faint light. "Drew," he breathes out, tugging up the chain necklace, diamonds linked carefully throughout the gold, glinting beautifully against the flashing lights on the tree. "You... how?"

"I have my secrets," Drew says proudly, reaching out and taking the chain, helping to unclasp it, then putting it securely around Ariya's neck. "It looks amazing on you."

"Thank you," Ariya mumbles, resting his fingers reverently against the jewelry. "It looks... wow."

"I made you speechless," Drew laughs. "I'm glad you like it."

"I love it," Ariya corrects, then glances over at Drew. "I love you."

Drew's face softens and he tugs Ariya closer, kissing him. "I love you too. And I'm really glad you're here."

Ariya smirks a little, plays with Drew's hair. "I'm glad I'm here too."

They stand under the tree awhile longer, content to gaze into each other's eyes and enjoy the moment.
