Harlee found them out but Tess' problem brought them to another part of the city.

Gina and Woz went after a drug dealer together, Handles, who's drugs were stolen on Tess' watch.

Woz stepped onto the basketball court, the rest of his team backing him up, Gina right up next to him. "Who's Handles?" Woz shouted.

A man came up, smarted off to Woz before he slammed the punk up against the fence, pulling back as the pain he'd been ignoring surfaced. Gina stopped herself from moving to his side as he continued his interrogation.

They left the scene, Woz and Gina alone. "What's going on with you?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" he asked, his irritation from the scene strong.

"You're clearly still hurting," she challenged, "If you and I are 'us' now, then you can tell me things. I know you're our protector, but you can't be that unless you're well. Give it to me straight," Gina demanded.

Woz didn't tell her the truth, he couldn't stand the thought of what her face would look like, "I've been going to physical therapy and it's a rough day, that's all."

"Is this why you haven't tried to fuck me since we got back together?" she teased, lifting the tension.

He chuckled, "No, the reason is because I don't want to hurt our little miracle inside of you."

She shook her head, "You can't hurt anything, and to be honest, this part of the pregnancy seems to have a big effect on my needs, if you know what I mean," she lowered her voice, moving to his ear, "The kind of feelings that I can't satisfy on my own."

Woz's breath caught at her invitation causing him to turn to her, pulling her face closer, attacking her mouth with his own.

He pulled back, "I've wanted to do this for a very long time," he confessed, putting the car in drive so he could get them somewhere more private.

Gina licked her lips in anticipation as she moved her hand onto his lap, making small circles over him, smiling at the way his breathing changed with each motion she made.

Woz brought Gina back home before he went to the doctor, knowing he needed to have another scan after the pain he'd been experiencing.

He found out what he already knew. The bullet was still in his spinal cord, ready at any point to paralyze him. He had a surgical option, but the risk and time off the streets was too much, especially right now.

All he could think about was Gina and their baby. He was in constant pain with Harlee furious with him because he wasn't ready to take on Intelligence and arrest them all. He took a deep breath before he made his way back into his world, hoping he could keep it together long enough to fix this mess.
