A small car pulls up to the entrance of one of the most popular winter resorts: Disney Snow Resort. The most magical resort on earth it claims. Located in Disney Village, which was also claimed to be the happiest place on earth right next to Nickvillie and CN City.
The car door opens and out comes the entire cast of Looney Tunes as if the car was actually a clown car. Bugs emerges from the car carrying his bags.
"Helloooo Disney resort" Bugs said. "I haven't been here since 1988"
"Step aside rabbit" Daffy says, pushing Bugs away. "Helloooo Disney resort. I haven't been here since 1988"
Bugs rolls his eyes. Porky adjusts his scarf and Petunia helps him. Marvin starts investigating the snow on the floor.
"What is this white substance on the floor?" Marvin asks.
"It's snow Marvin," Daffy says. "Do you not have snow on Mars?"
"It's always summer on Mars, Daffy," Bugs says.
"Boy I say I say what on earth are we doing here?" Foghorn said. "Is this the resort? It's a lot different from last time"
"I got an invite from my good pal Mickey to spend our holidays at this resort," Bugs said. "I'm sure he's waiting for us so let's not stand here and monologue any more"
The gang walked over to the entrance of the hotel. It was big and very busy.
"This place is amazing," Daffy says. "This looks very different from years ago"
Daffy stares at a plaque on the front counter that says "Disney Resort will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world"
"Well there's the answer," Daffy says. Bugs rings the front bell as a bellhop duck appears.
"Hello, Welcome to Disney Resort" the duck says. "Do you have a reservation with us- wait a second"
The duck peers his eyes at Daffy. Daffy does the same.
"Donald Duck…." Daffy says.
"Daffy Duck…." the duck replied. The two of them suddenly embrace each other.
"HEEEY" They both cheer. Everyone is confused.
"If it ain't my old co star" Daffy said. "You don't look a day over 80"
"Neither do you," Donald says. They both laugh.
"So what brings you to the resort?" Donald said.
"Mickey invited us here for the holidays," Daffy said.
"Oh of course let me get him," Donald said. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a bell that says "Ring for Mickey" on it. He rings it and the lights go out.
"What happened?!" Bugs said. A drumroll plays and an announcer voice booms across the hotel.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Disney Resort proudly presents the mouse of the hour: Mickey Mouse" the announcer says. A spotlight appears at the top of the staircase and sure enough, Mickey is there in his winter best. All the tunes are amazed.
"Hiya pals," Mickey says. "Welcome to the Disney Winter Resort-" He takes one step down the stairs and he slips. Everyone watches him fall down a flight of stairs. He lands on his face at the bottom of the stairs. More people come in to aid Mickey: a female mouse, a female duck, a bipedal dog and a regular dog.
"Mickey, are you okay?" the female mouse said. They carefully walk down the stairs and pick him up.
"You guys remember Minnie, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto right?" Mickey says, holding an ice pack to his head.
"Oh hello everyone!" Minnie says. She waves to the tunes and they all wave back.
"It's so nice to see you all again," Daisy says. Goofy notices that all the tunes are carrying luggage.
"Would you like us to carry those bags to your room?" Goofy asks.
"Oh sure," Bugs says. The 3 of the Disney toons plus Donald walk over to carry their bags.
"I'm so glad you guys could make it to the resort," Mickey said. "We have a lot of activities to do at the resort: We have an ice skating rink, a hot cocoa bar, a sauna, a mountain, and a ferris wheel. Of course if the line is too long, you can always get a Fastpass"
All the other Disney characters in the lobby start laughing, even Mickey.
"I don't get it," Daffy said.
The tunes squeezed into an elevator to get to their hotel room. Bugs puts his baggage down in his hotel room meanwhile Daffy makes a running start to the bed and dives into it. Marvin starts inspecting the room.
"This is the life," Daffy said. "Christmas and New Years in the happiest hotel on earth. Or allegedly the happiest hotel on earth. Given the corporate decisions by Bob Chapek this year"
"Warner Bros could do the same but they're playing" Bugs says opening the blinds.
"This place has been sanitized to perfection" Marvin said, waving that purple flashlight around. "These earthlings know their sanitization practices"
"Oh don't get all French with me" Daffy said. "Hey Bugsy, you wanna go down to the lobby so I can show you my ice skating skills?"
"You and Marvin can go." Bugs said. "I'm gonna take a quick shower"
"You don't need to do that when there's a sauna downstairs," Daffy says.
"Ewww" Marvin and Bugs both say.
"What?" Daffy said.
Marvin drags Daffy out of the room as Bugs hops in the shower. He lets out a sigh as the water runs. He only hoped that next year would be better. He wants 2023 to be the year he marries the two important people in his life.
Which is why New Year's Eve had to be the day he proposed.
