Chapter 1
...
3rd Person POV
"Everyone hold on!" Nami yelled.
Sea storm. The Straw Hats had seen many of these, but never one this deadly.
"There's an island over there," Nami said. "If we can just get there..."
"Help!" Chopper yelled. "I'm gonna fall in the water. I can't swim!"
Then, he fell in. "Chopper!" Everyone yelled.
"I'll save him!" Luffy yelled!
"Luffy," Zoro said, "you can't swim."
It was too late. He'd already jumped in.
"Nami," Sanji said, "meet me at that island."
Nami nodded. Sanji jumped in the freezing water.
...
Sanji POV
Sanji had just jumped off the ship. He was looking for Luffy and Chopper, but he'd just spotted something. It wasn't a person, it was a base. An underwater marine base. Of course, there has to be marines, Sanji thought. He could barely breath at this point, but he had to find his friends. He spotted Luffy, then he saw Chopper sinking to the ground. He grabbed them both and swam to the surface. He went to the island covering the marine base, where he found his crew waiting for him, their ship in ruins.
"Sanji!" Nami and Usopp ran to him and pulled Luffy and Chopper up. But before Sanji could get out of the water, something grabbed him, and pulled him under.
"Sanji!" He heard his crew's muffled voices, then looked to see what grabbed him.
It was a fishman.
"I've got him," said the fishman to his friends. "Get over here!"
Sanji tried to break free, but he was out of breath and the grip was too hard. He thought, I can't breathe. I'm- I'm gonna pass out...
Sanji tried his best to ignore his own protests and broke free. Just like last time, with his last breath, he forced air into the fishman's gills, causing the fishman to suffocate. Sanji swam to the surface before he passed out.
"Sanji!" Nami yelled. "What happened?"
Robin pulled him out of the water. "Are you okay?"
Sanji coughed up some water. "Fishmen happened."
"What?" Zoro stood.
Sanji sat up. "There's a marine base underwater. We should leave as soon as we can..." He looked at the ship.
Franky walked to the Thousand Sunny. "Don't worry. I'll fix her up and have her ready to go as soon as possible."
"How long is that?" Sanji asked.
"About..." Franky looked at the Sunny's condition. "Two days."
"Two days?" Usopp said.
"Plus," Nami added, "we have to wait for the Log Pose to reset."
"Might as well use our time," Robin said. "Maybe see what these marines are up to. Right, captain-san?"
Before Luffy could answer, Sanji interrupted. "Actually, I think I have an idea of what they're up to."
"They want me," Sanji said.
Everyone looked at him, waiting for explanations.
"What do you mean?" Nami asked.
"You see, they didn't go after Chopper or Luffy. They could have easily captured them underwater."
"Wait," Nami said, "by 'they', do you mean the fishman or the marines."
"None, actually. They're part of the World Government, but their not marines or fishmen."
"Then what are they?" Nami said.
"Pacifistas."
"Pacifistas? Human weapons?"
"Yeah."
"Why would they want you?" She asked.
"Because I'm a Vinsmoke." Sanji said, "They want to get rid of my bloodline. You see, when I was a kid, some of them tried to come after my biological family, the Vinsmokes. At that time, they were too weak, but now, I'm not so sure."
"Why are they teaming with fishmen?"
"They have the same goal: to kill me. Since you're part of my crew, they'll probably come after you guys too, so watch out. As long as we're on this island, we're not safe."
"So it's not a marine base?"
"No, but it's still part of the World Government."
Sanji stood up. "That said, we have to leave soon. We still need supplies and food. And our ship is a wreck."
"Listen everyone," Nami said. "Chopper, Brook, Franky, and Usopp will stay and help repair the ship. Luffy, Robin, and Zoro will but supplies. Sanji and I will get food."
"Yohoho! I can do that!" Brook said.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Robin said. "Lets go, swordsman-san."
"What about Luffy?" Zoro asked.
"He left a while ago," she said.
"Of course he did." Nami facepalmed.
"Anyways, lets get going," Sanji said.
...
Luffy POV
"Hmm! This is delicious! Give me more!" Luffy yelled.
Of course, the first thing he found was a restaurant.
"I'm full," Luffy said a while later.
"Here's your bill," said the waitress.
"Oh, I don't have any money on me. Put it on him." Luffy pointed to a random guy, then he got up and left.
...
Robin POV
"This island seems somewhat normal," Robin said.
"You're right," Zoro said. "It doesn't look like the place a Word Government base would be."
Robin nodded.
"Where do we go?" Zoro asked.
"Hello there," Robin said to a random lady, trying to hide her face so she doesn't get recognized. "Do you know where any supply shops would be?"
"Oh yes," she pointed, "right around the corner over there."
"Thank you," Robin said.
They walked into the store and picked out some supplies.
"Is it just me, or is it starting to get cold?" Zoro said.
"Oh!" said the shopkeeper. "You're not from around here, are you? Welcome to Baltic Island. You might have noticed it wasn't cold near the coast, but the closer inward you get, the colder it gets. See? It's starting to snow. Might wanna buy some jackets."
...
Sanji POV
"Phew," Nami said, "It's cold."
"Here, take my jacket." Sanji gave Nami the jacket he had put on when he got out of the freezing water.
"Are you sure, Sanji?"
"Of course!" He said with a smile, which soon faded. "You're right, it is col-"
Before Sanji could say anything else, he hugged Nami and dove. If he hadn't, they would have been skewered by daggers.
"W-what was that?" Nami asked.
"Pacifistas. We have to run."
People ran, their screams loud.
"They're targeting me. We should split up, but then they might use you to bait me."
Sanji carried Nami, bridal style. "Hold on."
Sanji ran, the pacifistas right behind him. People scattering when they saw the pacifistas, which were basically just giant human artificial intelligence robot weapons.
"We can't escape them," Sanji said.
Sanji put Nami down, turned around, and ran straight towards the pacifistas.
"Sanji!" Nami yelled.
It was hard, but Sanji took out one, then two, then three, then...
Sanji yelped in pain. He was standing in front of Nami, a dagger in his chest. If he hadn't moved in front of her, the dagger would have hit her.
"Sanji!" She yelled.
"Listen, Vinsmoke," a pacifista said in a deep, dark voice, "these aren't normal weapons. You won't heal quickly from them, like you do from other wounds. This is a special dagger, as so are all our weapons. It was made for people like you, or more specifically, for your bloodline."
The pacifistas walked toward him, "Surrender now."
Through the pain, Sanji went for Nami and ran. Before he could, another dagger hit his knee. He winced in pain.
"Sanji!" Nami said again.
Still, holding Nami, he ran as fast as he could. Even through the pain, he didn't stop until he knew he was safe. Everything was just forest and trees now. All the buildings had been destroyed, and the whole town seemed abandoned.
When they were far enough, Sanji put Nami down, and slid down against a tree, his pain overcoming him.
"W-what are these?" he said. "They're right, these aren't normal weapons. They don't hurt this much."
He tried to stand up, but winced in pain.
"Sanji!" Nami said. "Don't move around. I might have some bandages."
She dug through her bag.
"Here," she pulled out a roll of bandages.
"I'm not a doctor, but..." She looked at his wounds, daggers still there. She continued, " this is going to hurt a lot."
