"I can't believe this weather," Drake mumbles, staring out of the window as sharp wind blows snow past the house, wrapping his arms around himself. He feels chilled just from staring out at the mess that's been carrying on outside of the house for the entire night into the morning. "I'm not going to be able to fly out for the week events at this rate."
He leans back as Ethan walks up behind him, wrapping an arm around him. "That's fine, guess you're stuck here with me," he says, smirking into Drake's hair.
Drake sighs and turns slowly in his grip, peering up at him. "Well, I suppose there are worse things," he says, chuckling a little. "But you'd better keep me warm until we can get out of here, sir."
Ethan hums, pressing him flush against his body. "Yeah, I think I can manage that," he says, leaning in to kiss him. "How long do you think we'll be stuck here?"
"A day?" he asks, chasing Ethan's mouth for another kiss.
"Forecast says until Monday."
"Shit," Drake mumbles, brow furrowing until Ethan claims his lips in another kiss, lingering into it until Drake's toes curl in his socks. "Sir," he pants, digging his nails into Ethan's side.
"I'll do my best to keep you happy and warm," Ethan smirks against his lips. "For now, I think there are a couple of Christmas gifts downstairs to help distract you."
Drake eases back and stares at him, eyes wide and awed. "Gifts? I was so focused on the weather, I almost forgot it was Christmas."
Ethan laughs at him. "Yeah, let's put a pin in this and go open presents. Then maybe have some breakfast."
Drake hums. "Food... yes, let's go, sir."
Laughing and slowing each other down with more kisses and lingering touches, the two men make it down the stairs to get to the gifts waiting for them under the tree.
