Urd was idly looking through her terminal, not really looking for anything in particular when something caught her eye. She muttered, "Keiichi, Otaki, and Tamiya… did that? That's gotta be a mistake…"

She looked up as much as she could in an effort to find any and all falsehoods in the articles. When she couldn't, she muttered, "And Keiichi keeps our divinity a secret from them."

A big grin formed on her face as she said, "Might as well break the ice! Got nothing better to do anyways!"

Tamiya and Otaki were sitting on the couch in the temple, as Urd had called them there. Keiichi stood nearby, while Skuld and Belldandy sat on chairs.

"What does Urd want to talk to us about?" Otaki asked.

"Dunno. Musta be som'ing important…" Tamiya muttered.

A smirking Urd strode in, holding several printed papers. "Alright. I recently learned that Keiichi's been keeping secrets from us! Naughty, naughty!"

"What secrets?" Belldandy asked.

"Knew it. I always knew it," Skuld grumbled.

"Doesn't everyone have secrets?" Keiichi asked, getting nods from his male friends.

"Well, you got a point, so I reveal some of mine," Urd said with a dismissive shrug. "Belldandy, Skuld and I are goddesses. Keiichi wanted that to be kept a secret because…?"

Keiichi took a deep breath before saying, "Japan has problems dealing with humans who are from another country. I didn't want to risk any of you having to deal with being completely ostracized or attacked by mobs because you only look human."

Urd rubbed her chin. "I guess that might make sense, but still seems flimsy."

She shrugged and then pointed at the three men in the room and said, "And now for The Auto Club Trio's secret! They can transform into Anthropomorphic Toad people and use it to fight evil in outer space!"

Tamiya and Otaki looked at Keiichi and uttered, "You told?!"

"No, I didn't! I never said anything!" Keiichi exclaimed, holding his hands in a placating manner.

"But all three of you just did it now!" Urd cackled before tossing the papers on the table, letting Belldandy and Skuld see the photos. "In order, Tamiya, Otaki, and Keiichi.

It depicted three toad people. One had brown skin, one had green skin, and the third had a blue-ish green purple skin. All had spiked bracelets and leather belts. The one that supposedly was Otaki had sunglasses.

"Ick…" Skuld uttered, sticking her tongue out in disgust.

"Huh…" Belldandy muttered, picking up the papers. "According to these, you three have some shapeshifting powers to better help in a fight."

"Yeah! We used it to make our punches and kicks hit a little harder," Tamiya replied with a smile.

"And how do you transform?" Belldandy asked, looking at the Trio.

Keiichi covered his face in shame, while the other two smiled. Otaki said, "We slap our hands together in a threeway highfive and say, 'Let's get Warty!' To change back, we do the same, but say, "Let's get Normal'."

"And it's completely stupid," Keiichi groaned.

Tamiya rubbed his chin and replied, "I dunno. A little dumbness is a small price to pay to be a hero."

Urd chuckled, "And wouldn't you say, 'it's…toad-tally stupid', Keiichi?"

Keiichi groaned, "The heroism was nice, but the Dark Queen was… pitiful. All she wanted to do was cause chaos and destruction. I don't even think she had a hobby… or an actual name."

"Really? I thought she moonlighted as a dominatrix? Certainty gave off that feeling when we fought her… All those insults and black leather…" Otaki asked, rubbing his head in confusion.

"Wait… You were willing to fight women back then?" Urd asked with a look of surprise.

"Well, She was… Is? Was? Whatever. She's the leader of a group of mutants that attacked a lot of places and tried to kill us via bullshit places," Keiichi answered, sounding like he was holding back quite a bit of anger. "After a few runs through some Turbo Tunnels and Terra Tubes, see how calm you are."

With a shrug,Tamiya said, "Keiichi took some time getting used to being a Battletoad back then. For me and Otaki, it was like we were made to be Battletoads!"

"That and the Queen liked to mock him the most out of all of us," Otaki added. "She got pretty nasty about it."

A dark look flickered over Belldandy. "I see… If I ever get a chance, I'd like to give her a piece of my mind."

Skuld asked, "If she lacked a name, could the Dark Queen be an artificial construct?"

Urd, Belldandy, Skuld, and Chibi-Hild stood off to the sides.

Mara smirked, "Well, well, so you got your friends to fight me, Morisato. Whatcha gonna do?"

Keiichi, Tamiya, and Otaki faced each other and did a three-way high five, saying, "Let's get warty!"

"Okay, didn't see that coming," Mara muttered with a frown. After the humans became Battletoads, she added, "Or that too… Huh."

"Ready t'give up?" Pimple asked, cracking his knuckles.

"But I expected that," Mara said with a smile before throwing some fireballs. The trio dodged in different ways. Zitz hopped to the side and the other two jumped in the air.

Zitz then ran at Mara, who still was throwing fireballs. Mara was hit when Zitz formed giant ram horns on his head and headbutted her.

A pained Mara flew backwards, where Pimple landed. He reared back a leg, which formed a giant boot. He used that to kick Mara up in the Air.

Rash was still in the air. He clutched his hands together and made them grow to the size of a Volkswagen Beetle. He hit the incoming Mara with a hammerblow, sending her downward with enough force to bury her in the ground.

"Nice," Urd said, giving a thumbs up.

"Hn," Chibi-Hild muttered with a shrug, rubbing her chin in thought.

"What? Afraid of Mara losing?" Skuld said.

"Afraid of having to be the one to transform your toad friends back to normal with a kiss?" Chibi-Hild asked with a wicked grin.

"Ick!" Skuld uttered, hopping backwards.

"Leave Skuld alone, Hild," Urd ordered as Mara's head popped out of the ground.

"Alright now I'm-" Mara growled.

She was interrupted by Rash landing on her head and hopping off.

"Raggah!" Mara roared as she exploded out of the ground, leaving a crater. Lightning crackled around her as she yelled, "I'm gonna tear you apart piece by piece!"

"Not the first time we heard that," Pimple muttered, punching a large rock that was flying at him.

"And probably not the last," Rash replied, kicking another large rock out of the way.

"Don't underestimate Mara! She's much stronger than the Dark Queen!" Zitz said, choosing to dodge the rocks.

The idea and writing said idea was stupid, but fun.

I've never played the games, but I did see the pilot episode. It was cheesy dumb fun that was riding the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' coattails.
