Chapter 2
Samus woke up, feeling thirsty that night. As she woke up, she went outside, seeing someone with jet black hair, who was shirtless. It was Luffy. "Hey, honey". Luffy said, kindly in softness. "Hi, Luffy". Samus said, glancing up at Luffy, holding her to-go cup. "Mm, it's late…it's time for bed, honey". "I think perhaps you should be in bed". Luffy said, kindly in a soft, friendly manner. "Kind of…but I just wanted milk…that's all". Samus said. "That's ok, I have some milk in here we can drink". Luffy said, gently. Luffy got some milk, out of the ice box, pouring it into Samus's to-go sippy cup. "There we are, baby". "You ok…?". "You need help going to bed?". Luffy asked, gently. "I'm ok, for now". "Thank you". Samus said. "Good seeing you, hon". "Mm, you look like you need sleep, you need a lot of sleep". Luffy said, gently with softness. "I kind of do". Samus said. Samus sniffled as she glanced around.
"How's your sleep?". "You been having nightmares?". Luffy asked, softly with gentleness. "Pretty much". Samus said. "They've gotten bad…and I guess….I guess…things are bad enough, that I haven't slept in weeks". "I don't know what else to do". "I'm sleeping better with cannabis but I'm still disturbed". Samus sniffled. "Hey, medicine helps". Luffy said, gently. "Medicine gives us the comfort we need to sleep, and relax the way we need to". "We need medicine, medicine eases our pain". Luffy smiled a kind, soft smile. Samus nodded, as she glanced around, sniffling.
"Keep taking your medicine". "It'll help us, in the best way". Luffy said, kindly with softness. Samus nodded, as she sniffled. "Don't be scared, baby". "We'll work through it, I promise". Luffy said, gently. Samus nodded. Luffy smiled a kind smile, as Samus trudged off to her bedroom. Luffy followed her to the bedroom. Samus got into bed, setting her cup to the side. "I think you need a friend to tuck you in". Luffy said, gently with softness. "That might be the truth". Samus said. Luffy smiled a kind smile, tucking Samus underneath the sheets. "Have a good night, honey". "Get some sleep, and I'll see you in the morning, baby". Luffy said, gently with softness. "Goodnight". Samus said, feeling a kiss on the cheek from Luffy.
Luffy kissed Samus's cheek, gently as Samus drifted off to sleep. A new day was upon them. Even so, the evening doused them in sleep. Luffy went outside, vaping with his vape pen. Luffy knew cigarettes had been harmful, he formerly smoked cigarettes, yet found a new essence in vaping. Luffy set to his vaping, as he heard the thunder off in the distance. The thunder seemed to give way to the orange and purple of the coming morning. Luffy frowned as he glanced at the distance, smoking. Luffy yawned, going into his room, where there was a hammock just for him. Luffy slept, as the thunder continued to boom far off in the distance, in an aggressive, punitive rumble.
As Samus slept, she tossed and turned, feeling a seemingly disgusting part of a dream, and the boogies in her eyes. She slept, feeling the essence of drowsiness, and disgust within her sleep. Though she slept for a long time. Samus slept, only glancing upwards when her eyes fluttered open. The afternoon was upon her. She woke up, stumbling out of bed. She walked outside, seeing Luffy and Usopp talking to one another. "Hey, there's our baby". Usopp said, gently. Luffy nodded in agreement. "Look at how beautiful she is". "She's so special". Usopp said, gently. Luffy nodded, as Samus came over, yawning. "How are you, sweetie?". Usopp asked, gently. Samus glanced upwards, holding her milk. "I'm doing well". Samus said. "Can I have a hug, baby?". Usopp asked, gently. "If you must". Samus said. Usopp laughed as he bent down, hugging Samus. "I love you so much, darling". Usopp said, gently.
"I love you so much, too". Samus said, as she and Usopp laughed, while Usopp nuzzled her. Luffy smiled a kind smile, hugging Samus as well. "How are you today, sweetie?". Luffy asked, gently. "I'm doing well". Samus said. "Kind of".
"Tired at all due to the medicine?". Usopp asked, kindly. "I'm kind of tired". Samus said. "I slept for a while".
"You slept for a long time". Luffy said, gently. "For 14 hours, almost". "You must've been tired".
"I was". Samus said. "Being tired is common". Usopp said, gently. "You've been through a lot of trauma". "Usually, when that happens, there's tired feeling that happens".
Usopp smiled a kind smile. "But don't worry". "We'll take care of you in an amazing way". Usopp said, kindly. "Thank you". Samus said, as she looked up at Usopp. "Want some medicine, sweetie?". Usopp asked, kindly. "If I must". Samus said. "Hey, I know it's not your favorite, but we have to do it". Usopp said, gently. "I know…and that's why I don't want to do it". "But I know it helps". Samus said. Usopp smiled a kind smile. "Don't be worried, honey". "We'll get through it in the best way". Usopp said, gently.
Samus nodded. "Hmm, Luffy, your boxers kinda smell, dude". Usopp said, nonchalantly. "I might've farted in them". "That's why they smell like crap". Luffy said, as he chuckled. "Dude, change them". Usopp said, holding his nose. "Nah, my testes will be cold". Luffy said, as he chuckled. Luffy took off his flowery boxers, showing Usopp. "They've got poop stains in them". Luffy said, as he chuckled. "Mine have some whitey in them, from semen". Usopp said, as he showed Samus.
"Mine have flowers on them". Luffy said, showing Samus, as he and Usopp laughed. "Those are big". Samus said. Luffy chuckled as he walked away with his boxers. "My testes are pretty big as well". "Least they're healthy". Usopp and Luffy laughed. "That might be disturbing". Samus said, as she drank from her sippy cup. "Hey, we're guys, we're immature in our own ways". "And you're pretty cute". Luffy said, gently. Samus nodded. As the guys walked back in, Samus felt much more tired on her cannabis. "Let's get some medicine, honey". Usopp said, kindly. Samus nodded, as she went inside the ship. She went into the kitchen, taking some medicine. "Here you go, honey". Usopp said, kindly as he gave Samus her medicine.
Samus took her medicine, cooperatively, not arguing in any way. Even so, she glanced around the ship, seeing some waves rock against the ship. Samus nodded in agreement. "Let's drink some milk". Usopp said, gently. Samus nodded, as she drank her milk. Usopp smiled a kind smile, as he saw Samus drink her milk. Kaya came into the room. "Hey, sweetie". "Hi, baby Samus". "How did you sleep?". Kaya asked, gently with softness. "I slept ok". Samus said. "I was fine".
"You slept for such a long time, I was beginning to get worried about you". Kaya said, gently. "Is everything ok?".
"Everything is fine". "I didn't have any nightmares or anything, which is actually pretty good". Samus added. "That's always nice when you don't have nightmares…nightmares can be scary". Kaya said, gently. "I'm happy you're ok, Samus". Kaya smiled a gentle smile, kissing Samus's forehead, kindly. "But perhaps, we should eat some yogurt…have some treats, just in case". Kaya said, gently. Samus nodded. "I have some yogurt with cheerios, and fruit on the bottom…I remember it was your favorite when you were young". Kaya said, kindly. Samus nodded. "It was my favorite growing up". "well….I guess when I was too young to remember".
"Still, I remember coming over, and feeding it to you". "You loved the taste of the cheerios, and the fruit that would come rising to the top". "You were so good with that". Kaya said, gently. "I suppose I was". Samus said. Samus and Kaya laughed, as they commenced with eating. Kaya took some yogurt from the fridge, mashing a few cheerios up in it. When it was ready, Kaya spoonfed it to Samus, wiping Samus's chin in the process. "There she is…she loves to eat". "Here comes her yogurt". "Yogi pogi". Kaya said, gently, as she spoon fed Samus her yogurt. "Does that taste as good as you remember it to?". Kaya asked, kindly. "It tastes good". Samus said. "It tastes amazing". "Thank you".
"Did you dream about anything in particular when you were sleeping?". Kaya asked, kindly. Kaya kissed both of Samus's cheeks, kindly. "I didn't dream about anything major…mine were all peaceful dreams". Samus said. "I dreamt about what I normally dream about…which was about missions, the metroid I raised when I was near Phaaze, as well as some other things". "I dreamt about normal stuff". "Well, stuff that was normal for me".
Samus shrugged as she ate another bite. "When you say a metroid you raised….were you raising a baby organism all by yourself?". "Through its life stages?". Kaya asked, gently. Some liquid came over Kaya's negligee. "You're…you're….". Samus began, as she pointed to Kaya's negligee. "Oh yes, I lactate all the time now". "My breasts are always lactating for some reason". Kaya said, gently. "I've been taking a new blood pressure medicine that has my breasts lactating, and producing milk". "It happens after Usopp and I…do our thing….but it's alright". Kaya smiled a kind smile. "It is what it is". Samus said. She and Kaya laughed. "But anyhow, you raised a metroid?". "How was that?". Kaya asked, gently.
Samus glanced up at Kaya. "I raised a metroid by nursing it through the first few stages, then I gave it some smaller organisms to feed on, I protected it from harm….but it died…and I was heartbroken…because it reminded me of how I felt before I lost my parents". Samus said. "Hmm, that seemed nice to do….but the outcome was traumatic". Kaya said, gently with softness. "It was". Samus said. "Come to think of it, my entire life was traumatic in every single bit of its fashion". "I just remember every aspect of it….after my parents died….and I've seen horrible things".
Samus finished her yogurt, beginning to tell her story. "I remember the day my parents died…it was a stormy day….kind of like today….when the sun wasn't out…and this monstrous bird…with a large wingspan, came over us….the space pirate, Ridley". "He went on to destroy our colony…and our planet". "When the planet was destroyed, I was in a capsule….floating through the galaxy….just in orbit around the planet Zebes until a bird-like race found me….they were called the Chozo….and when I was in their care….they were endearing enough…but they did all kinds of sick experiments on me….and tried to kill me….I eventually had my DNA infused with Chozo DNA, and they did that while I was sleeping". "I remember feeling the needle in my arm, like they were going to inject some kind of serum into me". "I remember waking up…and not feeling normal". "I felt like I was going to throw up at first….but I remember having these biological things about me that weren't normal". "I just went on to fight in the Galactic Federation…endure hell week, all while not feeling a thing, because….because I had this strength that the Chozo gave to me". "I dedicated my life to finding Ridley…and now that I've found him….there's nothing else to do". "But the pain I feel comes from seeing people die, seeing hands cut off with vices, seeing these massive, disgusting creatures". "Spending my life fighting wars….that's where most of my pain stems from". Samus said. "I understand". Kaya said, kindly. "And…essentially, you've never come to know what a normal life is…because you've spent a lot of time fighting".
"That's exactly right". Samus said. "I've had trauma".
Usopp was in the kitchen now. "You never had a normal life….because you lost your parents…and your planet at the beginning". Usopp said, kindly with softness. "I have never had a normal life…and I probably never will". Samus said. "How did that make you feel….when mom and dad passed?". Usopp asked, gently with softness. Perchance, there was some suave charisma with his soft voice. As if they were in an intimate setting. "Were you sad, or scared at all?". Usopp asked, gently with softness. "I was….I was…I was really scared…because I was only 3…and I didn't know what was happening". "At the moment….I didn't know what I was feeling….and I kind of….I kind of ran and hid…..luckily someone put me in the space capsule….and I escaped when the planet was destroyed". "I just saw some flashes of light….and a wide blinding white light….and K-25 was destroyed". "My parents….my home….my life….everything was destroyed". "I don't remember much….but I remember the white light". Samus said, sniffling. "I also remember the blinding flash….I used to call it, boom, boom, flower". "I remember a bit of it…and it was….traumatic to say the least".
"But what came after was something that I knew subconsciously was wrong….I knew wasn't normal…but I went with it anyhow". "It was just one of those things". "That was my life…and I spent it fighting…I don't know why". Samus said.
"Maybe perhaps and because it was the only life you knew of at the time". Usopp said, gently. "It was all you knew…it was what you were raised to do because you didn't have parents or a planet". "You didn't have the sense of normalcy". "You were alone in it….and that was it". Usopp's voice softened. "You…cold…scared…without a mom or a dad.. Shaking in bed because you were cold, crying and eventually learning not to cry because you knew you wouldn't be comforted". "That must've been traumatic for you, honey". "I'm sure you had a hard time". Usopp said, with a softened, gentle, airy voice. "How did you feel then?".
"It was hard, but I got through it thanks to what the Chozo gave me…the biological defenses they gave me". "While I had a hard time, I knew deep down that I would be ok". "In a way, the Chozo did something right". "The Chozo gave me something I knew would make me the hero I was destined to be….in a way….they helped me….and I did turn out like my biological parents". "I became something I knew I would benefit from". "They helped me….in many ways". Samus said.
"Would you say you're angry with them….because of the way they treated you?". Usopp said, gently with softness. "I'm not angry". Samus said. "I'm not angry about what happened with my parents, either". "I believe in forgiveness…and looking the other way". "I believe that whatever happened, happened for a reason…and I became the hero the Lord sent for me to be". "My biological parents….my parents were heroes, too". "And I knew I'd be like them, too….one day". Samus said. Luffy, Usopp, and Kaya nodded, as they heard Samus's story. "I knew you'd be like your mom and dad, as well". Usopp said, gently. "Mom and dad love you, too".
Samus nodded, as she sniffled. "Remember honey, you were a hero even before this all happened". "When your parents held you in their arms, when your mom kissed your forehead for the first time, she knew you were a heroine". "She knew you were destined to change the world". "Everybody knew". Kaya said, gently. "You were always destined to change our world as well". "You've touched my life, our lives in so many ways". Usopp said, kindly. "You are the epitome of strength". Usopp and Samus smiled.
"You can do anything". Kaya said, kindly as Samus nodded along. Magu, who had heard the conversation as well, didn't say anything…and instead nodded along. "Samus". He interrupted, as everyone glanced at him. "Time for your medication". Magu said, gently with an equal amount of softness. Samus nodded. Luffy had become uneasy with Magu's presence. "She'll get it in a second". Luffy said, with some agitation towards Magu behind his voice. "Well, we wouldn't want our heroine, our knightess in shining armor, to have flashbacks, would we?". Magu said, with some degree of feigned concern behind a slimy, voice. "Allow me to distribute her medication". "Samus trusts me…don't you cherry blossom?". Magu said, with paternal gentleness. "She'll feel so comfortable around me, we'll be best friends…isn't that right, my Samus?". Magu said, kindly. "I must admit, I readily do". Samus said. Magu took some cannabis oil from the cupboard, putting some in a medicine cup. "Here we go, cherry blossom". Magu said, gently. "Drink up…you need the calm today, so you can go to bed". "We won't have bedsores, will we?".
Samus nodded, as she drank her almond milk after the medicine. Magu smiled a gentle smile, kissing Samus's cheek with cigarette stained lips. "So, honey, just know you can do anything". Usopp said, kindly. "I know". Samus said. "I know that I'm destined for greatness…and that anything is possible". "I've won tons of awards, I've been inducted, I've attended awards banquets, I've done a lot".
"Doing a lot can constitute a lot of pressure, though". Kaya said, gently. "Remember that it's important to have some down time". "Take some cannabis, so the pressure doesn't mount".
"I know". Samus said, as she drank from her sippy cup. "But I always believed you could do anything….because you are our heroine". Kaya said, gently. Samus nodded. "Thank you". She said. Thunder rumbled outside, as a passing strike of white lightning seemed to flash above Going Merry. "Can I get anybody anything to eat?". "We might have some fish left". Kaya said, gently. Kaya kissed Samus on the two cheeks, gently. "Samus, baby, you need to eat something". "Ramen doesn't count". Kaya said, gently.
"I might have spaghetti, or spaghetti scampi". Samus said. "We might have some left from that restaurant we visited last night". "We're in luck". Kaya said, kindly, as she took some spaghetti from the ice box. She heated it on the stove. "Mmm, you save everything, babe". "You're just like my mother". Usopp said, as he and Kaya chuckled, looking deep inside the ice box. "I save everything because I know it's still fresh". Kaya argued. "We might have to fit you in that freezer". Usopp said, as he and Kaya chuckled. "It wouldn't be too bad". Kaya said, as she and Usopp came close, sharing a kiss. They kissed for a long while. "Samus, get some of this espresso while we have it". Usopp remarked, as he and Kaya shared another kiss. Usopp then kissed Samus's cheek, gently. Samus laughed. "She's getting better…see what a good testicle week does". Usopp said, as he and Kaya chuckled. "She is, look at how beautiful her face looks, and her cheeks, her eyes". "She looks well-rested, she looks like a dream". Kaya said, as she and Usopp gazed at Samus, while she drank from her to-go cup. "That is true, I dreamt of her last night". "Mm, she was sitting by the light of the moon, she was praying to her mom and dad…holding a bunny rabbit, she had her lil nightgown on". "Samus is a dream". Usopp said, as he and Kaya chuckled, gazing at Samus some more. Samus kept drinking almond milk.
"I'm surprised you don't sleep in between them, while they're naked in bed". Luffy joked, with a scoff as Samus laughed. "They're ok, they're being humorous, is all". Samus said, as she chuckled. "Well, if you need to escape the love motel over there, just give me a call". Luffy said. "Well, Usoppu-sama, Samus is happy". "That's the product of good testicle week". Kaya said, as she and Usopp laughed. The spaghetti was brought out, as everyone ate. It was a Merry time, even though it was storming outside. Oh well.
Noodle, 10 year old Noodle came inside to Kong Studios. "Russ, 2-D, Murdoc….where are you guys?". Noodle asked, as she came inside the lounge room. "Hey, darling". A softened, raspy, yet, gentle, altruistic, light, airy nurturing voice said, from the lounge couch. The voice belonged to Murdoc. Murdoc…who was usually mean, bad-natured, and obstreperous, actually sounded gentle….much like a teddy bear, or an angel on a cloud. "I'm so happy you're here….you are someone with so much love, so much intellect, and so many gifts….we are proud to have you…". "I know it's been hard for you…..this year….many years….and I wish to give you this gift….because you are amazing….in your own way…..I know I've made some mistakes….I know I've treated you poorly…but I want to give you my gift….I've worked on myself….and I understand you've suffered….Noodle". "We've become more like a daddy and his daughter….we've become buddies….friends". Murdoc said, lightly in his raspy voice. "I want to give you a hug….friend". "Baby girl". "Mm, daddy wants to give his baby a hug". "Come 'mere, talk to your guardian angel….because he loves you". "He wants to give you a kiss…baby girl". "Noodle poodle". "Ax-grinding baby princess". "Give daddy a kiss". Murdoc said, in a softened, slurred voice, as he stroked Noodle's face, while Noodle saw him shirtless, sprawled out on the couch. His nis was rising, and hardening. "Daddy loves you…daddy needs you". Murdoc said, kindly, as he grabbed Noodle's chin, playfully. "Give daddy some love". Murdoc said, kindly. Noodle backed away, as she heard Murdoc laughing.
Noodle saw Russel sprawled out on the floor, laughing as he seemed high, or under the influence of weed as well. "Hey, beautiful". Russel said, seductively as he laughed. "Come see your old man". "Come see him, ejaculate in his pants". Russel said, as he laughed. "Hey, baby". "Iss ok, we'll laugh, we'll talk, we'll sing, we'll hang out, and do goodnight kisses, just like your old mom and dad did, in Japan". "We'll read a story, we'll stroke your face". "Hey". Russel said, in a softened voice. "I know your mom and dad passed away, I know you were in the orphanage, all cold, and crying before you were adopted". "No hugs or kisses…just horrible stuff". "But you were ok…before mommy and daddy died". "But hey, iss ok now". "We got each other…I got my baby girl with me….we ok". "Don't be sad, baby Noodle". "Daddy will make some cookies when we go home". "Daddy make it all better". Russel said, in a softened, airy, incoherent voice. "Thank you". Noodle said.
"Mmm, hey, y'wanna know a secret?". Russel said, drunkenly. "I cummed today". Russel chuckled in a childlike manner, as he laughed. Noodle backed away, knowing 2-D was high as well. "Come rub my hairy back, and my belly button, baby". Murdoc said, as he laughed. Noodle backed away…knowing they were high. They were in a bad place. She was aware that they just didn't care anymore.
