Chapter 8

The next day, Samus got some…if not most, of her strength back, as she got up, walking around. She was able to eat meals, talk, and do some light exercises around the house, and do some chores, such as laundry, cleaning the bathroom, and making the bed. All of which Samus found very relaxing. It was relaxing in a scintillating, yet deep kind of essence, and manner. As Samus found more and more to do, there was a knock at the door, while Ryu answered. It, predictably enough, was Joco. He smiled a kind smile, holding some flowers in his hand. "Hey, man, what can I do for ya?". Ryu asked, kindly. "I was hoping I could see Samus at some point". "I've got some of her favorite flowers….and…I was hoping to take her to dinner somewhere". "Or lunch…whatever she wishes to do". Joco said, as he smiled a bit.

"That sounds like a nice plan". Ryu said, kindly. "I'm sure she would like that". "Well, she's in the other room now, just hanging out, reading her book, and drinking some almond milk". "She is dressed, so she might be ready…it all depends".

"That's so cute, she is a smart, resourceful person with so much tenacity". Joco said, endearingly. "She is…I love her so much". Ryu replied with an equal amount of endearment towards Samus.

Samus came outside, as she held some almond milk in her hand. "Hey, Samus". Joco said, kindly as he greeted Samus with gentleness. "Hello". Samus said in a small voice. "Hey, I got somethin' for ya, if it's ok". "I got some tulips, and a box of chocolates, because I knew tulips were your favorite kind of flower". Joco said, kindly. "Thank you". Samus replied. "That was very thoughtful".

"It is…and I thought of you the whole time I was in the flower shop". "I knew you needed some flowers to brighten your day…so I got some for you". Joco said, gently.

"Thank you, Joco". Samus said, as she took the tulips, putting them in a vase.

"How are you feeling?". Joco asked, kindly as he and Samus sat down on the couch. "I feel ok…kind of". Samus said. "I have at least some strength…so I can try some things, and do what I feel is necessary". "Nothing is really bothering me too much….I don't know".

"You look, and sound much better, I'm happy you're doing well". Joco said, kindly. "I guess…in a way….you and I have come a long way".

"We definitely have". Samus said. Joco smiled a kind smile. "But, you're feeling much better…and you're taking it easy…that's the important thing". Joco said, kindly. "Anyways…um…perhaps, would you like to go out to dinner, or lunch with me this evening?". "I could drive us, and I know this nice Ayakashi place where we could have some ramen, we could have some coconut water, and Oat Milk drizzled with chocolate". "We could talk, or do anything you like". "Only if it's ok with you….it's entirely your decision". Joco said, gently with kindness.

"I would like that, actually". "I kind of….I don't know….in a way, it's like I need to get out…and do something". "I'm not entirely exhausted anymore". "Everything will be ok". Samus said.

"Let's go to the Ayakashi place". Samus said. "I would like that so much". Joco said, gently. "I bought us some Oat Milk to try….I know Oat Milk is something we both appreciate".

"Oh, thank you". Samus said. Joco smiled a kind smile as he and Samus giggled. "Wanna hold hands, or is that too much?". Joco asked, kindly with softness. "No, we can hold hands". Samus said, as she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry….I'm just kind of nervous right now". "I've never had this many feelings before". Samus choked on a swell of emotional splendor….and excitement.

"It's ok…to be honest, I'm kind of nervous as well". "When a guy loves a girl, he experiences way more thoughts and feelings than anyone". "I have so many different thoughts that come to mind, but I have to remember to be steady, and go at the pace you're comfortable with". Joco said, kindly.

"I don't want to be too hard on you, or too much…I know you need some time as well". Joco's voice softened. "But I also want to get these new feelings out somehow".

"But I do love you….and I want us to have a happy life together". Joco said, gently. "And I love you, too". Samus said. Samus smiled, as she and Joco held hands, giggling. "I love you, too". Samus said. She and Joco shared a loving gaze, then a friendly smile.

"Well, are you ready to ship out?". "I just waxed my car, so it looks pretty clean and all-the-way shiny". Joco said, kindly. "I am ready". Samus replied. They both rose from the couch, heading outside. "You besties going out for a while?". Ryu asked, kindly as he leaned against the divider ledge near the doorway. "We are…but we'll be back soon". "I'll have her home as early as possible, sir". Joco said, respectfully. Oh…well…have fun, then". "Sounds good". Ryu stammered, politely, a bit taken back by Joco's firmness. "Have good food, and if you want, bring back some leftovers". Ryu said, kindly as he winked. "We'll try". Samus said, as she and Joco exited, saying goodbye to Ryu as they got into Joco's car. "Have a good time". "See you later". Ryu said, kindly as he waved.

"Bye". Samus said, as she got into the car, while Joco helped her inside, opening the door for her, when he felt it necessary. Samus sat in the car, as Joco drove down the street, passing different buildings, and suburban areas, all surrounded by ramen shops, and arcades, all with the neon that accompanied their signs, as they flourished with bright, glowing color. Samus looked off to the side as she sniffled. "So, how was your day?". "Did you rest a lot of the time…or…just chill?". Joco asked, gently with casual, cool softness that surrounded the gentleness in his voice. "I actually had a burst of energy a bit later, and decided to do some laundry, and help Ryu clean the house". "The only time I went to read was when Ryu told me it was ok to stop doing chores, and take some time to rest". "I kind of did rest…but I was bored later on…reading is ok….it doesn't take a lot of energy away". Samus said.

"Reading is actually pretty calming". "I like to read fictional paperbacks when I have time to myself". "Sometimes, when I'm stressed, or I'm just angry with someone, I walk away from what made me angry, sit down, and read a book". "Right now some Authors I watch are J.D. Salinger, George Orwell, and Patterson". "Some 20th century novels are pretty prominent as of now". Joco said, calmly.

"I usually read informational essays, and works, but I can't say no to the classics". Samus said with calmness, yet a soft amount of innocence behind who she was; a fragile young girl, who needed to be protected by a man…or any given adult. "I like Salinger the most because teen angst is a prominent genre that I can relate to, in the experiences I've had..but I like Orwell because Dystopian Literature is nice". "It's kind of relatable to the scenarios I've been in, as well". Samus said.

"There are some authors that I look at, and I read their work, but in many cases, I can't believe they're authors". "Authors are those who write with a good grasp of the English language, nice setting and plot, and good dynamics". Joco said, calmly. "Some can't even write 2 words down without sounding….bovine".

"Bovine is a good word for it, that and erudite in their endeavor to try and pine for what could be considered bad writing, and even worse penmanship". Samus replied, distinctly. "The aspiration is lost".

"It's like the aspiration was never there…I'm sorry, but I'll tell it like it is". Joco said, curtly as he and Samus shared a laugh. "But hey, reading is always a fun hobby".

"I am in school as of now…so far, I'm 3rd in my class". Joco said, gently with calmness. "That's nice….at the school I go to, I'm actually sharing the first place spot with my best friend, Noodle…the one from the Gorillaz band". Samus added. "There is a girl named Ira who's in second place…she's worked really hard to be where she is now". "She lost her birth parents….and….essentially grew up without a family….she was in an abusive foster home run by Nazi supremacists until she was 8". "She's worked really hard, and she…she's really come a long way". "I kind of feel bad for her….because her family grew up Hebrew, Russian, and she was in a Nazi-based foster home until she was 8….because she lost her birth family". "She kind of…she kind of works hard, but, I don't know if she has natural skill due to the amount of time she lost to be nurtured and stimulated in infancy, but she is an amazing student". "I say the same about Noodle because….she grew up in an orphanage after her birth parents died…she was adopted, then her adoptive parents died, and she was traumatized in foster care, too". "She has Autism because of it". Samus said.

"But the Autism raises her IQ level?". Joco asked. "It does". Samus replied. "Hey, that happens with social, and contact deprivation sometimes". "The babies in orphanages develop Institutional Autism because they weren't stimulated". Joco explained. "I read some things about that in the journals, and all".

"Still, she is a neat person to chill with". "She's super cool, she has her own guitar, record contract, and she's a producer". "I tell ya, everyone kind of relies on her, huh?". Joco said, calmly. "They do, just as they all rely on me, too". Samus said, as she and Joco laughed. "But hey, I've heard you sing sometimes, as well". "You have a beautiful voice". Joco said, gently with a kind hum. "Why don't you sing for me, more often?".

"I don't know….I kind of…I kind of feel weird about doing it, because it's….it's kind of scary….It makes me hesitant". Samus said. "I don't know if I'm ok with singing".

"You should start singing for me, hun". Joco said, softly with gentleness. "Your voice is incredible, and you are an amazing musician". "You are a wonderful artist, and intellectual". "I feel so at-home when I'm nearest to you". "You make me feel complete".

"I can't sing, I was never in choir, or nothin' like that". "I've smoked as well, so my voice is shot, but when I hear you, I feel so in love, and I feel so heavenly, like someone is comforting me in a wondrous way". "You are a wonderful musician, and a lovely singer". "I need your comfort, and I need your singing voice to give me a reason to go on". "I remember when we were still friends, chilling out, you and I were there, I looked away for a second, but I did hear your singing voice". "I heard you singing to me, It moved me to tears right away". "I love how well you sing". Joco said, kindly with softness.

"Thank you…and I do sing when I'm by myself, but I guess…I guess singing gives me comfort". "It helps me when I'm saddened". Samus said. "I'll bet it does". Joco said, kindly. "But I do want to be your manager, or your tour guide, and get you to sing for the Emperor, or somethin' like that". "You're so incredible in many ways".

"Thank you". Samus said. "I like singing, and writing songs…but…I don't want to share them with anyone because….because I don't….I don't know how everyone will react to them".

"I think they might be well-received". "Wait and see, they'll be an amazing addition to everyone's likelihood". Joco said, kindly.

"Please…don't hold back something that you and I both know the world will benefit from". "Don't be hesitant in giving the world a gift of yours….your voice, your songs could make the world an amazing place". "Why don't we do it?". "Why don't we share some of your songs?". Joco said, gently. "Please…?".

"That would be nice". Samus said. "Maybe we can try it….only if it's ok with you". Joco said, gently. Joco reached over, holding Samus's hands. "Ok". Samus said. Joco smiled a warm smile as he held Samus's hands. Samus sniffled a bit, as she looked around. "You ok?". Joco asked, gently with softness. "I'm ok". Samus said, as she gazed into Joco's eyes.

While the Ayakashi stand was busy, Joco and Samus sat in the car, as the sunset came to pass. "Should we go in?". Samus asked, as she looked at Joco, as he was in the other seat. "Mmm, maybe we'll wait it out". Joco said, in a soft, gentle hum with his voice, as he gazed into Samus's eyes. "I think that might be the best thing to do". Joco said, gently. He leaned his head against the seat, as the leather rubbed a bit. "You look so beautiful, Samus….you look amazing….I don't know if I told you yet, today". Joco said, gently with a dreamy, romantic, soft hum to his voice. "No, I think you have". "I kind of heard you…it's ok". Samus said. Joco smiled a romantic smile as he gazed. "But thank you….that was so kind of you". Samus said, as she and Joco laughed.

"Always, honey". "I love you…so much….I love you with all of my heart…and I always hope you know how much I do". Joco said, romantically. "I know". Samus replied. Joco and Samus laughed, as they both shared a smile. "There's something else….I think I'd like to give to you….if you're ok with it". "Can I give you a kiss….on the lips?". Joco asked, romantically, with a gentle hum, as he dreamily gazed at Samus. "I guess you can". Samus said. "That would be nice". Samus and Joco gazed into one another's eyes, as they leaned in close. They both leaned in…closer and closer, as Samus felt her heart begin to pound. Joco closed his eyes, lightly touching Samus's face with kindness. Samus took a deep breath, knowing Joco was coming closer and closer to her. Joco leaned in, as they both felt hearts pounding, warm sensation of pure white, and creamy cloud, running through their bodies, relaxing them, and gushing them in the efface of family, togetherness, and most importantly, love. They were both in love with one another.

Joco kissed Samus's lips, gently as he stroked her face. He felt the love, felt the affection, and felt the efface of wonder as he kissed Samus's lips with kindness. Samus felt nervous…initially, as her palms began sweating, although, was comforted by Joco's loving touch, and kind hands stroking her face, nicely. She compared it to being comforted by Ryu the night before. She loved the comforting stroke, and the loving touch of Joco against her skin, and against her lips.

Joco had thick lips, which made the kiss feel softer, and less likely to harden. The soft kiss, the moisture against the lips, and the tongue, which eventually crawled its way into Samus's mouth, felt softer, and poignant in its repertoire. Samus breathed deeply, relaxing her mind, as she laid back, (not literally), and enjoyed the essence of the kiss. She enjoyed Joco's kissing, and hugging. Even so, she enjoyed Joco's lips. The lips spoke to her, gentle words of wisdom and poignancy, of intellect, as she listened to the wise words that protected her, and led her in the right direction. She would be led out of psychological poverty, and into a moderate class of dynamic wealth that helped her mind. She and Joco would be steered in the right direction, in the direction of magic, and might. They would be led in the direction of intellectual fervency, and richness of family, altruism, and contact. Perhaps the best thing for them would be love, it was thought. Samus enjoyed Joco's lips, as she felt the kiss caress her in steady aspiration. She felt the kiss, cuddle, and comfort her. Samus smiled a loving smile as she released from Joco's lips while they both took a breath. "That….that was amazing". Samus said, in awe as she took a deep breath. "So amazing, and wonderful". Samus took her deep breath, reeling from the shock she experienced. "It was….I'm glad you liked it". Joco said, romantically, with his soft, gentle, suave voice that was dampened by the small width of the car, and the leather of the seats. He wasn't driving a Lincoln MKX, yet. But his car was nice.

"I did like it…thank you". Samus said. She and Joco smiled, as they laughed. "Want to do it again?". "Please….?". Joco asked, romantically, in a dreamy state. "I would love to". Samus said. She and Joco leaned in again, kissing, as the softness of Joco's thick lips, felt gushy, squishy, and soft against the essence of Samus's lips. It was the slimy softness, and rich distinction of kindness that was the softening of the lips. Now, some might argue that this visualization brings them to mind a pregnant centipede that trailed slime, and cuck on the window, while others visualize a perfumey, romantic, soft, powdery allure of vast cologne, and the sunset colored diamonds that tasted like candied chocolate, and caramel kindness that emulated love, and respect…most of all, affection, and psychological wealth, dynamic contact, and familial bond. This is what Joco's lips brought.

Samus's lips did feel dry after the kiss. She did feel dryness, with cracked, salty stubble against the top of her lips. A man's facial hair, and stubble had its nature of bringing that. "That was nice, huh?". Joco said, gently. "It was…that felt really good". Samus said. "I definitely agree…but…maybe we should go in…and get something to eat, if that's alright by you". Joco said, kindly. "It is". Samus said, as she and Joco got out of the car, walking to the Ayakashi stand. "Hmm, the crowd left, huh?". "Seems like it's just us, alone, at the table, staring at one another". Joco said, as he and Samus chuckled.

"I guess we are alone". Samus said, as she and Joco looked on, seeing the outside booths were empty. "Hey, that's ok with us". "We can do anything". Joco said, gently. "Anything…is in talking about anything…not touching or doing anything weird".

"That's true". Samus said, as she and Joco laughed. She and Joco ordered, as the chef prepared some Dao Tengu spicy noodles for Samus, and Gyudon for Joco. "This is nice, huh?". Joco said, gently as he and Samus took a seat. "It is nice…it's really nice". Samus said, as Joco reached out his hand to touch Samus's hand. "It is cool how we're the only ones here". "We haven't seen any place open like this since…well…since we started seeing each other as friends". Joco said, gently.

"I haven't seen any place empty, either". "It is kind of nice, having it to ourselves". Samus said. "Hey, we get to talk more….and we get more privacy, which is nice". Joco said, kindly. "But it is cool, in many ways". Joco took a bite of his Gyudon bowl as he ate some of the rice inside it as well. Soy sauce, and ginger made the rice and Gyudon a delicious dinner. Samus even enjoyed some soy sauce and ginger on her noodles. It was a delicious meal for both of them. "So, how's everything going in school?". Joco asked, gently with a sprig of firmness. "You doin' ok there?".

"Kind of….I have all A's, and I'm on the way to getting a 4.0 this semester". Samus said. "The one thing I have to use effort with is calculus". "It's a math class, which I kind of struggle with". "I'm learning what I can, and I'm doing everything, but math is a harder thing for me to do". "I do have an A with it, though". "I have a 99% in it".

"I'm just the opposite". Joco said, gently. "Calculus is easier for me, it just comes naturally for some reason". "I love calculus".

"Math has always come easy for me". "I loved doing equations, I love the engineering sides of it, and I love breaking down word problems". "It is something I've come to enjoy doing". Joco said, gently. "One day, I might attend school for engineering, and system diagnostics".

"But for right now, I might just help you with some things you might be having trouble with". "Perhaps like doing quadratic equations, and differentiating parabolas". Joco said, gently. He and Samus chuckled. "I am doing well with it…and I almost have 100%, but I have to work harder in it". "I don't excel at it, like others do". "I guess….I don't know…I have to work at a lot of things in order to excel". Samus replied. "Excelling at something isn't about having natural skill, and order". Joco said, kindly. "Excellence is about putting forth the effort, and the work in order to achieve your goals". "You've worked your entire life…and that's ok". "You're doing it, you're someone who is at the top of her class, and is outstanding". "All because you did it". "You worked your hardest to be in your position". "You've done great things".

"I'm so proud of you, Samus". Joco said, kindly. He and Samus chuckled. "But yes, you've done it". "You've excelled". Joco said, gently.

"Thank you". Samus said. She and Joco laughed. They kept eating their dinners. "How are you, and Ryu doin?". "You guys gettin' along ok?". Joco asked, gently. "We're getting along just fine". Samus said. "I was kind of sick yesterday, and before I got my strength up, I was in a sickbed, and Ryu was in the same room, and we, kind of talked for a while, and cuddled, as cousins".

"That's so nice". Joco said, gently as he smiled. "You glad to be back with your cousin…?". "A member of the family?". Joco asked, softly with kindness. "I am glad because I can finally have the chances that I didn't have when I was a kid". Samus said, gently. "I can finally be someone that I knew I always had the potential to be". "I guess….it has more to do with having a nice family, and less about bounty hunting".

"I love having a chance to be someone normal". "Because I'm normal, I know anything I do, I am appreciated for it…and I actually am a human being who has a family that loves her, and always will". "I'm really happy because I am someone who is capable of being normal, and has attained her dream of being normal". "I am a normal person with a normal life". "I can do anything….because of my family". Samus said. "I have a family….I have love in my life…I was hugged and kissed…I think because of that…I'm in a really good place". Samus sniffled as she said this. "well…I know you're the best bounty hunter…I mean, that's a given…every living animate thing knows that, but, what I love about you is, you're someone who is so strong". "You and I are both survivors, who have learned so much throughout our lives, and experiences". "You're wise, you're ready, your eyes are open, and you're willing to learn, and give". "You are someone with experience, and wisdom, but you never go telling anyone about how good you are". "You just always listen, and you're always learning, you always take in something new". "People who listen, and learn the most, instead of talking, are the best ones". "We all talk sometimes, we all like talking, and expressing ourselves, it puts us out there…it seems".

"That's not actually how wisdom is gained". "Wisdom is gained through listening, comprehending, and understanding". "Sometimes, in some situations, we tend to pick and choose what to truly hear, and comprehend, but we should always listen, and help others based on the knowledge we're given". "When we use knowledge, we tend to gain more of an understanding, and a likelihood to see others' point of view". "True heroism, true altruism is seen in those who listen, more than talking, think before acting, and plan before risking". "You do all of those things….and more". "That's how a relationship works". "That's how marriage works…that's how companionship works…and you have been the best friend for listening to me…and understanding how I feel". Joco said, gently. "I feel amazing….because of you….because you've helped me understand….in my process". Joco smiled as he finished the last bite of his Gyudon. "Thank you…I'm glad I could help". Samus said. She and Joco smiled as they finished the last bite of their meals.

Joco used a napkin on his face, as he laughed a bit. "That was nice". "I never thought beef would be good with soy sauce, and ginger teppan". Joco said, kindly. "Apparently, it was". Samus said. She and Joco smiled. "Well, it is nice that you have your family back". Joco said, softly with gentleness. "I'm happy for you, and so proud". "How's being Sasuke's godparent going?". Joco asked, kindly as he drank some of his wine. "Everything good with that?".

"It's fine…he's really young right now…he just learned to crawl, and he is rolling over…but Ryu and Robin are enjoying the sweet spot right now where Sasuke is still young". "I helped take care of Sasuke today". "I changed his diaper, I fed him his bottle, and I put him down for naps". Samus said. "Hey, that's nice". Joco said, kindly with gentleness. "Sometimes, that's the best way to be a godparent in the beginning". "Changing diapers, and doing bedtime duties will eventually turn into reciting bible verses, and just….perhaps being there for every important life moment". "You'll have fun with it…in every aspect".

"I bet I will". Samus said. She and Joco laughed. "Well, how's your milk tastin?". Joco asked, kindly. "It's ok as of now". Samus said. "I'm happy, hon". Joco said, as he and Samus shared another laugh. "I like my wine…it tastes a lot like sour grapes, with that underlying sweetness". Joco said, gently. "But hey, it's pretty good".

Joco and Samus shared another laugh, while they drank their drinks. They talked for a while, as Joco came up with some more funny things to say while they talked.

In a bit, Samus checked her cell phone, seeing the time marked on the front. "Well, it was a nice night…but…I think we should head home now". "Ryu and Robin are probably becoming worried about me". Samus said, as she drank some of her to-go cup of chocolate Oat milk with strawberry drizzle. "They might be…but…are you sure you want to go home?". "We could head to the park, and take a walk…we could head to my place, and watch T.V., anything you want to do…it's up to you". Joco said, gently.

"I kind of want to go home". Samus said. "It's nothing against you…or anyone…I just…don't want to get in trouble with Ryu, and besides, I feel really tired".

"I understand". Joco said, kindly. "Well, we can go home now". "I know how much Ryu means to you, we'll get you home".

"Thank you for understanding". Samus said, as she and Joco nuzzled. After paying the bill, and getting that "fun" thing taken care of, they were both on their way. They went back to the car, as Joco settled into his seat, watching the stars above. "It's so peaceful here….isn't it?". Joco said, kindly with a romantic, dreaminess about him…about his voice. "It truly is peaceful…I love it". Samus replied, as she, and her pure voice fell victim to the caramel dreaminess of romance.

"The stars are shining above, the moon is out, it's like everyone is shining down on us from heaven". "All of our family members, and friends". Joco said, romantically. "That is true". Samus said, as she smiled at Joco. "mmm, yeah, I loved our food…my gyudon was great, I loved my rice, I loooved everything". Joco said, with dreaminess and romance to his alluring voice. It was dark in the car now, and the light that illuminated them was dark blue.

Joco gazed at Samus, as his lip corner twitched, even in this moment of extreme calm. "I might dream of the noodles". Samus said, casually. "I might dream of that….Tiramisu". Joco said, with a romantic, suave, sonorous composition to his smooth, softened voice. His head tilted back a bit while he rested it on the seat. He smiled a dreamy smile, as, unintentionally, and unrequited, his lip corner twitched. It just happened, and was a slimy mechanism that was part of his body, and nerves at this point. He had undergone an immense amount of pressure, and trauma when he was part of his street gang. That, and the immense pressures of school. A.P. student, and valedictorian, who had a lot of natural skill, and academic achievements, with college level courses, and the teacher's favorite. His lip corners twitched, even when there was no pressure to be felt. His lip corners twitched, even when he was asleep. He truly was reformed at this point.

When it came to interacting with someone with an intellectual, or developmental disability, he was wise. He knew to be kind, be smart, and be patient with them, work with them instead of going ballistic on them, or insulting them openly in a violent, evil manner. He was too wise for insults, and evil cruelty. Hmm…it seems the wiser, and smarter the intellectual, the more open-minded the true individual. However, while he was a part of the street gang, Joco was evil, cruel, and violently hostile towards individuals with intellectual disabilities. Fortunately, he had worked on himself, attended seminars, and read self-help books on how to be open-minded, and diverse, how to be a better man, and a kindhearted individual. I digress. Joco kissed Samus, with dreamy lips. As he kissed her lips, he stroked her cheek, gently and with light, airy softness. He was careful to be easy with her…as he knew she was just beginning. He kissed Samus, nuzzling her as well. "I always love you". "I'm so in love….with you, and only you". Joco whispered, romantically, as he kissed Samus's lips, perhaps putting his tongue in Samus's mouth as well. "I love you, Samus". Joco whispered, in a dreamy, unfocused state as he kissed Samus's lips, in a moment of romance. Samus could feel Joco's heart beating profusely, as she felt a hardening contraction…it seemed…of Joco's muscles. There was one organ that Samus knew was hardening within Joco. or within his pants. Joco was a man, and this meant that he felt even stronger feelings, and the romance truly surrounded him, in a large way.

Joco kissed Samus's lips, as he stroked her cheeks. Even so, he felt himself touching Samus's face with both hands. He and Samus kissed, feeling the magnitude of one another. Joco felt loved in many ways. So did Samus. In the moments where they kissed, they both felt an unsurpassed feeling of love, that no one could deny. They were both one….and their love was something they appreciated…fully. As they kissed, there was a creamy white feeling…of calm, and of love as the evening passed. It was a feeling of distinct kindness, altruism that healed, and that relaxed, taking some comfort in what was going on. There was comfort all the way around, after a lot of stormy, difficult dissonance. There was a reward for everybody in the family.

"Well, it is time to go home, huh?". "Let's see if we can get on this road". Joco said, gently with kindness, as he started up the car. Joco and Samus gazed at one another, lovingly as they stared. Samus felt comforted…even with her boyfriend. They rode home, back to Ryu's house, as they continued to gaze, longingly. Samus smiled as she looked away for a second. Then, she looked back at Joco. There were gazes met with love, and kindness.

As they parked the car, Joco walked Samus up to the door. "Thank you for an amazing evening…I had a great time". Samus said. "I'm glad you enjoyed it…I had a fun time, too". "Y'know….if you're free, we can do it again, tomorrow". "Only if you want". Joco said, gently with romance. "I would like that….maybe if I am free, we can do something". "Thank you so much…I love you, Joco". Samus said, with romance. "I'd like that, too". "I love you as well, Samus". "Thanks for the date". Joco said, romantically with kindness. "You as well". Samus said, as they shared one last kiss….Joco pulling Samus close as he kissed her. He pulled her real close as he kissed her lips. Samus fell into fervent love with Joco, she fell in love with his closeness, his lips, and his voice. The sound of his voice, wise, suave, insightful, and deep with cigarette rasp, spoke to Samus…telling her to have faith, and to hold on…because she would find hope, in a lot of true things. At night, she would see his face, he would speak to her, while she thought, and pondered pensively. The thought of him came, a vision, where he would give her wisdom, and insight regarding her troubles. He spoke to her….encouraging her to have hope, keep trying, and to never stop believing in herself. He shared jokes with her…and gave her hope, changed her life because of his humor and insight. He was Joco…or Chocolove McDonnell. He was her true love. She listened to him…and became less stubborn. She took into stride his intellect, and his street smarts. She could rely on him…for anything…even if he was 10 years older than she was. He was her protector. He, like her, was a Millennial. An older Millennial that narrowly escaped Gen. X category by a half of a year, according to the growth charts. Samus kissed his lips, as he kissed both of her cheeks, gently. "I'll call you later". "Love you". Joco said, gently, his normal, focused state returning as he kissed Samus's cheeks one last time. "I'll call you, too". "Love you". Samus replied. "Goodnight, Joco".

"Goodnight, Samus". "See you tomorrow". Joco said, gently. "See you tomorrow". "Goodnight". Samus said. "Goodnight". Joco said, as he turned away, going to his car. Getting in, he started the ignition, turning the key as he got in. He drove away….happy about his evening with Samus.

Samus went inside, closing the door. She, too, was happy about her evening with Joco. Even so, the evening was nice in every manner. It was a lovely evening….full of second chances, and forgiveness. It was a lovely evening, that anyone would be happy, because it happened. True love was everywhere.
