Quick note: No comments, depending on the reception of the story I will continue it. Feedback would be appreciated, it's fun to read suggestions, even complaints.

Without further ado, thanks for reading!

Danmachi and everything related does not belong to me.

Somewhere in the world there is a city called Orario. The City of Adventurers. Mortals of all ages and races travel to this city in search of their desires and dreams. Because this is the city where adventures are found.

Orario was built on one of the huge dungeons that spawned monsters and threatened the lives of all who lived on the surface, in the past they were not controlled except by the efforts of brave heroes who made contracts with the enigmatic spirits and fought against the endless hordes of monsters

Everything was like this until the gods, the creators of the world came down to what they themselves called the Gekai. Those gods were looking for fun on this earth and for them they sealed their divine power to live like exciting mortals.

But not before granting his Grace to mortals to defeat the monsters and keep them in the dungeons.

Brave men and women who risked their lives facing the terrors that existed in the dungeon. Terrifying monsters that inhabited the labyrinth underground.

That city where innumerable gods and... Adventurers lived.

Among the adventurers who entered one of these dungeons day after day was a young man with white hair and red eyes. Features so exotic that from his childish appearance they attracted the glances of women.

Except, right now he didn't have the best expression on his face.

"Wooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

That frail and scrawny looking boy was running with all his might to save his life.

The boy had tears in his eyes as he rolled on the ground trying to escape whatever was chasing him.

A loud roar like that of a bull made him increase his strides. Yes, he was being chased by a minotaur.

How would he know that a minotaur would be on the 5th floor.

"I hate you so much!!, Bell!"

A loud cry of frustration was heard in the hallways. There were two people being chased by the minotaur.

Running alongside the frail-looking boy was another unimpressive-looking boy. Red eyes and white hair, same face, same complexion. Some twins ran while trying to conserve their lives.

The one called Bell didn't answer him, instead he squeezed his eyes shut as he quickened his pace. Internally, he could only apologize over and over again. It was his insistence that led them to go beyond what was established.

Eina warned him so many times...

Corridor after corridor, they escaped again and again from the minotaur's attacks. Until he finally managed to have the twins cornered in a small room, the minotaur's breathing was erratic, almost as if she smiled as she moved slightly closer to Bell.

The albino closed his eyes resigned, Bell's last wish was that with his death his brother managed to escape.

"Run, Bell! Get out of here!" a twin yelled.

Bell watched in terror as his brother flung himself onto the monster's back and tried to cut out its eyes.

Bell had no way to help his brother, his own weapon was broken, so useless he could only watch.

The monster soon threw his brother several meters, so much so that he was forcefully thrown into another room and then crashed against a wall.

"Tim!" Bell yelled.

Worry overcame fear for a moment, and she steeled herself to face the minotaur squarely.

Unfortunately, bravery was not enough. The monster continued to approach Bell without stopping.

"I'm sorry, goddess."

It was his last thought, his greatest regret when he loses his life would be to leave his Goddess alone, the one who illuminated the life of him and his brother.

Suddenly, the upper part of the minotaur's body fell diagonally, followed by a huge explosion.

Huh?

The explosion of flesh fell all over his body, staining his clothes and dyeing his hair red.

"Are you okay?"

Bell's chest was pounding like a drum. In front of him was the most beautiful woman she had ever known.

He was a swordsman clad in blue with golden armor, a long golden mane only accentuating his features. And then there were those golden eyes that seemed to look right into his soul.

Well... Probably not, but I couldn't find a better way to describe it.

Tall, thin and with a large bust. No doubt women would be jealous seeing her walking down the street.

"Excuse me... are you okay?"

Bell was unable to form words, he was so stunned that he was unable to speak properly.

A furious blush tormented his face, although the beautiful girl in front of him didn't seem to notice because of all the blood on her.

"I-I…I'm sorry!!"

Unable to bear the emotions inside her heart any longer, letting go of everything, she ran as far as she could.

But one thing was clear, his heart had been taken by this beautiful swordswoman.

.

.

.

Everything was wrong.

Nothing had gone as expected.

He accepted, very foolishly, to enter the 5th floor at the suggestion (rather pleas) of Bell.

Timer Cranel groaned as he picked himself up from the cold ground. The minotaur just pushed it off his back, but that was enough to send him crashing across an entire room.

If he didn't have the Falna on him, he probably would have turned into a bloodstain on the wall.

"Argh"

He groaned before standing up, his sword hurt like never before, but he resigned himself, his foolish brother was in danger.

A second could mean life or death for Bell. She ran towards the room where the minotaur had Bell locked up.

It was funny how the world liked to fuck with him. Just as he entered the room he heard a not very masculine scream.

"I am sorry!!"

At times like this, Timer regretted that he and his brother shared everything in common, including their voice. Listening to themselves, even though there was no one with them was demeaning.

He ignored that thought, he couldn't blame him, a monster was putting his life in danger right now.

What he didn't expect is to see Bell running away and stained with blood. Rarer still, was seeing a girl older than him with an expression that almost looked like she had been beaten up.

And finally, a werewolf laughing non-stop. Right on the ground a larger than usual magic stone was on the ground. With that he quickly came to the conclusion of what happened.

The heads of the adventurers turned towards him.

The blonde girl tilted her head to the side, widening her eyes before turning back to the path where Bell had run.

"Huh? Tomato boy?" Said the werewolf.

"Sorry?"

Timer asked in a higher-than-normal voice. Who the hell were they? They had symbols he hadn't seen. His appearance was not that of anyone, whoever they are were strong, much more than he was.

"Oh, but what do we have here! Now the trash comes in the same pattern. Pathetic, cowardly men who should retire from being adventurers." The werewolf said dryly.

Timer's expression soured. "Who are you to say that?" Timer clenched his fists tightly, his hands were tied, starting a fight was suicide.

The werewolf laughed wildly. "Much more than you! Tier 1 trash."

Timer gritted his teeth, when someone talks like that, either they were very stupid, or they were of a much higher level. But it could well be both.

"Piece of-"

No, starting a family feud would only end with the Hestia family being destroyed. If they were able to kill a minotaur in the short amount of time he was led out of the room, it indicated that they were very strong.

The werewolf only smiled even more, waiting for them to give him an excuse to attack the little adventurer who dared to challenge him.

The girl's gaze, instead, fluctuated between Timer and where Bell had gone looking confused. Oblivious to the dispute between the two men in the room.

Timer shook his head before sighing, for 14 years of his life he was told that they were so alike it was impossible to tell which twin was which. "...Well, I'm going to assume that you're the one who saved my brother. Really, thank you very much" he finished as he bowed his head.

She nodded, I hesitate before speaking. "The boy… Tell him I'm sorry." She heard a clicking of teeth in the background.

"Fuck me, Aiz! A woman of your caliber shouldn't even bother looking in the direction of these two losers!!"

Timer raised an eyebrow before sighing again, he really was such an irritating person. Leaving that aside, what did Bell do to saving him? Bell wasn't rude, at least not intentionally. Well, he would ask her later.

"I'll tell you, I'm sorry if Bell did something that offended you in any way, but I have to go, thanks for everything."

Timer bowed again before running off the way Bell had gone. The werewolf left a bad taste in his mouth that will linger for a while.

.

.

.

Outside the dungeon, Timer tried to forget his meeting with those two, mixing with people like that only brings trouble.

But damn it, that way of bragging was so disgusting! The rough voice of that werewolf almost made him wish he could smash his head on the ground.

He let out a tired sigh, it was lucky that his rational thinking didn't abandon him, who knows what would have happened if nothing else was fought there.

As he walked through the city he wondered where Bell was. His brother might have gone to the guild, or even already been in church with the goddess.

-Bell.

he asked in his head.

-Can you hear me?.

he asked again. Nothing happened for a moment, Timer's eyes were closed while he concentrated.

-I can hear you, Tim.

-Where are you?

-I just got home, Tim. The goddess has arrived too.

-...Okay, I'll go after informing Misha about what happened today.

-Be careful coming back.

Now he knew where it was, and he didn't have to look for it. Telepathic communication or rather it was really convenient.

The ability to communicate regardless of distance was invaluable. Something more than to thank the goddess Hestia and her blessing.

Entering the Hestia family was a blessing, if it wasn't for her they would have had to beg for food or worse.

That was why Timer had only gratitude for giving him and his brother a home.

.

.

.

With quick steps he entered through the Adventurer's Guild. The idea of changing the lenses was tempting until she remembered that Bell had all of his work today.

With a sigh, she kept shifting until she was looking in the distance at a pink-haired human who was lazily looking at the blade in her hands.

She raised her head for a moment, when she noticed her presence a frown appeared on the girl's face.

He hadn't walked when she gave him a disappointed look.

"I thought I was clear when I said that entering the fifth floor was prohibited." With her hands on her hips she was trying to give the image of a responsible girl. "Don't try to lie, your brother already loosened his tongue and Eina confirmed it to me."

Timer grimaced before answering. "It wasn't my fault, I practically got swept away. Besides, it's not my fault that a minotaur showed up there. Bell and I were perfectly fine on that floor before everything went wrong."

Misha didn't change her angry expression before letting out a resigned sigh. "Look, Timer. It hasn't even been a month since you've been adventuring, not how many with the experience to keep going down. You'll only get yourself killed."

"That sounds exaggerated." Timer said pointedly.

"It's not. In this Guild our policies are different, but at the end of the day, it's your decision. I'm a lady, it's your decision if you want to die at only 14 years old."

Yes, she was angry. And the look of indifference from her was even more difficult to swallow.

Timer hung his head in shame. "Sorry, it won't happen again. Please go back to your happy-go-lucky attitude."

Misha sighed again. "Remember that you are not in Altena's Labyrinth, nor are you in The Empire's Cell. Where you are is the Orario Dungeon. We are not at war, nor do we have the extremist ideas of The Empire." Misha softened her gaze on him before smiling. "Just take it easy, okay?"

"Okay" Timer said.

Misha's words when he met her came back to him.

'I'm Misha Flott, from today I'll be your adviser' She mentioned with a smile, to be replaced with a calculating look. 'I just have something to say, our relationship will be strictly professional. We are adventurer and adviser. No romance, no friendship, no familiarities.'

That was his only rule, and today it became clear. There wouldn't be a friend of hers with her… For a moment he was envious of Bell's relationship with Eina, but he dismissed it.

If she were to die, Misha would get over it without complications, in a way it was something that was beneficial to her.

How many adventurers don't die daily, a rule like that prevents pain for her.

.

.

.

Timer looked in the direction of his home, the dilapidated church he called home. It's been two weeks since he and his brother got together. The family had no members before them. There was only the patron goddess, Hestia.

A goddess who prayed for members to join the family. One way or another she ended up meeting Bell and letting them join the family.

"If only I wasn't so lazy..."

Walking through the entrance, he entered what used to be the central nave before going through a secret entrance.

There was a small room with a bed and a sofa. They were the only things that could be appreciated.

His gaze swept over the bed, there was Bell lying on his stomach. Off to the side, Hestia sat looking at the status sheet.

"Timer-kun!"

The little goddess jumped into his arms the instant she managed to recognize him. Timer tried to make it stop, to no avail.

"Or sweet..." Timer thought.

"You're safe, what a joy!" The goddess exclaimed as she searched for wounds on him. "She was worried ..."

"I'm sorry to run away like this." She heard the albino say on the bed. Bell had left him lying in the dungeon, the first few floors may not have been threatening anymore with the Minotaur dead, but still...

"You should".

Timer frowned at Bell's apology.

He wasn't mad at him for leaving him, he was in a bad mood from the encounter with the werewolf.

"Hey, hey. Stop fighting, you better watch it!" She pointed the goddess happily towards some steamed potatoes on the small table in the room.

"It's amazing! Goddess. How did you get them?" Bell looked at the food in front of him as the best delicacy in the world. It was a godsend gift to him and that already made it something to cherish.

"The shop owner let me keep this, isn't it wonderful! We won't go hungry today!" Hestia said almost jumping up in excitement.

To be so happy for a little food...

Timer grimaced, if they hadn't met the Minotaur they would have collected money for a decent meal for her. The albino's eyes darkened.

The goddess didn't take long to notice, before smiling sadly. "Timer-kun... Come on, you're thinking you could have done more. They came back safely, that's all I care about, not the money they brought."

"I know... But it's okay, tomorrow we'll get money, it's a promise."

Bell smiled sweetly before saying, "Yeah, if we get enough money we'll take her out for dinner!"

There was no other intention with those words, just a symbol of affection towards his goddess.

Goddess herself who burst into tears, only to jump up and take the two brothers in a hug.

"What did I do to deserve such good children..."

A blushing Bell returned the hug slightly, while Timer tried to step aside.

"Timer-kun, don't reject your goddess's love!" She chided puffing out her cheeks.

Somehow Timer managed to break free of the embrace and left Bell to his own devices. "Maybe another day... How about we start eating before the food gets cold."

"Good!" Said the goddess.

Bell hadn't said anything, the reason, he was nearly suffocated with his head buried in the goddess's chest.

With one of his last reflexes of life he managed to take a breath of air.

"DD-Goddess! Please let go of me. I-I can't breathe!" The albino made signs of help to his brother, Bell trusted him and knew that he would never give up. It came as a surprise when his blood brother turned her back on him and began to eat one of his potatoes.

-This is for leaving me alone in the dungeon.

Oh yes, Timer could be a lot of things, and one of them was a spite.

"You will accept my love, Bell-Kun. Whether you want it or not."

Choking to death for some breasts... Grandpa would be proud.

Timer thought before continuing to eat.

.

.

.

Once Hestia calmed down they managed to eat calmly. Once finished, the goddess decided to update the status of the twins. As she did so, the conversation turned to one thing only, the girl who saved Bell.

"So there's Aiz Wallen whatever is a member of the Loki family..." Hestia murmured, riding on Bell's back lying in traces. "And no less than a Lv5. It's like you have some ability to get into trouble, Bell-Kun."

The named one chuckled weakly while scratching his head in embarrassment. "Umm, sorry."

Hestia yelled various insults in her head towards the cheating goddess, out of all the families there were... Why did it have to be with them!

From the side of the bed, Timer listened to the two talk about the woman. He considered telling them about his brief encounter with her, but that would lead to more screams from the goddess... Maybe another day.

But well, it was lucky that he didn't fight them, now there was no doubt that they would have beaten him non-stop…

Lv5... You can only get to it after sacrifices and effort, years and years of constantly going to the dungeon without stopping.

The Loki Family was one of the highest rank. All of its members incredibly powerful.

What did they have to match people like them?

"I finished!" Patting Bell on the back, she jumped up with the blade in her hands.

"The stat increase was as high as ever, even higher than the previous time.

Bell and Timer looked at the sheet and nodded in satisfaction, Dexterity was almost up to G. At this rate it would only take them 6 or 7 months to reach level 2.

Timer retracted what he said, what they had to match those of the tall families was something simple but unmatched. That was the love of the family, the same love that thanks to the brotherhood of Bell and Timer took shape in Falna.

The statistics were not the only ones that were on the sheet, further down on the paper was a skill box.

It was a surprise to both the brothers and the goddess, neither of them expected a skill to appear in the Bell state. The surprise was greater when the same ability appeared in Timer's state.

Thanks to this ability, it allowed an adventurer to gain the excelia of two people in both states.

"What is that stain at the bottom of the page?" Bell asked.

"I dropped ink"

"oh"

"Fine, fine. Come up here Timer-kun." She indicated the goddess as she did the same procedure as with Bell.

When he finished he handed the sheet to Timer.

Name: Timer Cranel

•Stamina: I 37 - I 55

• Dexterity: H 199 - G 207

Skills:

[Soul Bound (Active)]

-Equity: Stats, magic, development skills, abilities and curses will be shared between Soul Bound users. Immovable aspect of the skill.

"I'm sure they hit you hard this time, right? Timer-kun" The goddess said.

When I updated his status I can easily notice how bruises were found.

It didn't seem like anything serious, but it would still hurt.

"You should have told me, Tim."

"It's nothing- Argh!" He was interrupted when a slap to his back made him groan in pain.

He looked with dagger eyes at his brother who was chuckling slightly. "Unfortunate, Bell"

Only to have the discomfort in his back almost vanish afterwards. From behind the goddess pressed the places where the bruises had been before.

And while some were still there, half of them were gone. Another of the blessings of the skill was this, as long as they wanted they could take each other's wounds, even up to 90% of the damage.

Bell took half, it was a simple, but effective way to speed up recovery. This effect was thanks to -Bisection-.

Soul Bound was a literal blessing for the twins, he was so versatile both in and out of the dungeon.

It was this very ability that allowed them to communicate telepathically, something very useful to them.

"You did not have to do it". Timer said as he frowned.

Bell denied with a smile. "You hurt yourself trying to save me, I must."

"Well, I warned you" He said before returning the slap on the back.

"Oh!" When Bell and Timer were about to enter into a dispute again they were stopped by the voice of their goddess.

"Come on you silly twins. Arguing amongst yourselves is becoming a habit." Said the goddess.

She lied, listening to them complain was a favorite part of her day. After living so long without company, she felt so lonely before she met the Cranel brothers.

So many nights of perpetual silence can become very painful...

"I am sorry"

He heard one of them say, he cocked his head not recognizing who it was. She chuckled slightly as she remembered how the first days were, the twins were so similar that it was almost impossible to recognize them.

The only way to tell was by the expressions on their faces. With Bell being mostly cheerful and childish, a stark contrast to Timer, who was calmer and with a much more serious expression, not to mention that he could be a grump most of the time.

Oh well. It didn't matter, she loved them both equally. That was the reason why she wanted to be the one who helped her growth.

'I should have been the one who fueled his growth, Ahhh! Not that Aiz whatever'. Hestia thought.

He remembered very well what he found on Bell's status sheet.

Liaris Freese, Growth Accelerate, the effects will last as long as her feelings don't change, and the effects are determined by the strength of her feelings. Hestia let out a tired sigh.

Now little Bell-Kun is in love. The children of the Gekai are so changeable...

Hestia shook her head as she watched the twins argue again. Those two were a basket case.

My only concern is that there is no future for their romance, a relationship between members of different families is doomed.

At the very least, Timer-kun isn't in love yet, so if the family grows and more female members join, he might fall in love with someone within the family.

Hestia lay on the bed with a headache, being a patron goddess was harder than she had thought.

Hestia rubbed her temples as her gaze returned to the twins who were rolling on the ground trying to hit each other.

"...Hephaestus never said that having a family was going to be so difficult." The goddess of the hearth complained so as not to be heard. "Behave! You silly twins!!

And one more thing, before you go don't forget to vote for this chapter.

Thank you!
