Chapter 6

Link and Zelda held one another close, kissing one another, softly. Their eyes were closed, their hands tucked around the waist, and face as they let their lips caress one another, gently. Link caressed Zelda's cheek, with love and affectionate repose. "You are beautiful". Link said, gently as he kissed. "You are handsome as well…I guess I've never actually noticed until…now….I mean now that we're older….and….it's kind of noticeable". Zelda said. "I guess things have changed now that we're older….there's these feelings inside that I feel….I can't describe them….but the feelings are different….much like water coming deep inside the Earth, and making a grandiosity of overflowing, now that it's been released". "It is replenishing, revitalizing, and rewarding to say the least". "I have feelings for you that are new and more active than in the past". "I need you….now more than ever….and now that we'll be in a good place".

"I've been having those feelings, too". Link added. "Best to act on them, and see what leads us to victory". Link and Zelda smiled, chuckling a bit. As they laughed, they both kissed one another's lips, kindly. They both kissed, as Zelda touched Link's face, kindly. Link caressed Zelda's waist, kindly. They were both in a good place. They seemed content, for now. Link felt Zelda's kiss, Zelda's hug, and Zelda's hello in a feature of kindness. It was their feelings, strong feelings they would never let go of. Even in any amount, they were in a complete balance. They were in their paradise, feeling grand that they had one another, even as their kisses increased, while Seafillies, and fairies neared them. Link knew the fairies were lighting the way for them. Zelda felt the softness, and the caress of Link's lips against hers. The softness of lips, the open nature of his shirt, the blonde bangs he had. His blue eyes, soft, loving, and friendly along with her eyes. Their eyes seemed to come together in a gaze. Even so, they both gazed, kissing one another, fruitfully. Link felt content that Zelda was there. Zelda, in turn, felt content that Link was beside her. It was a special, magical time for anything. In essence, it was a time for their love. Their love, their essence, could solve anything. They were capable of anything they wished to be. Even so, they had love on their wings. Zelda could hear the faint song being hummed to her by Link as they touched foreheads, affectionately. She heard the first part, her dad's voice, and presence in the song, so she sang the second part.

"I'll bring, water to your oceans"

"You'll bring Earth to all the heavens sing"

"We'll fly farther than the highest star,

With love on our wings".

"Longer than, there've been stars up in the heavens,

"Higher than, any bird ever flew,

"Longer than, any water in the oceans,

"I've been in love with you".

"I've been in love with you".

Link and Zelda sang, as Zelda felt the song coming to her. It was as if her father was with her. Even so, in that moment, she kissed Link's lips again, chuckling as they did. Link smiled, Zelda smiled, as Zelda felt another kiss, another conversation, and another laugh come on. All before she saw me come outside, standing on the balcony, a shrill look in my eyes, as Link glanced up, with a shrill look in his eyes as well. "Zelda, darling". I said, gently with icy chill to my voice. "Come back to bed, now". "It's time to get some sleep".

Zelda kissed Link, bidding him goodbye, as Link looked at me with dissatisfaction. "What the hell are you doing here?". Link asked, with aggression to his voice. "I've noticed someone trespassing onto our property". I mentioned, coldly. "If I were you, I wouldn't exit around the front". "Deltorra really hates men with a passion, and she will attack if you're in her way".

"First off, this is not your property". Link replied, with an equal amount of coldness. "This is Zelda's castle, she is in line to be the next queen". "You are not to refer to it as your anything". "If I were you, I would pack up your things, and leave right away". "You are not authorized to be here".

"I wasn't yelling at anyone, or referring to anything as mine, was I?". I replied, kindly, with gentleness. "Please don't respond with so much hostility". "I understand your candor, but Zelda is under contract, and she is under my supervision". "She needs her rest, and her sleep". "Besides, are you going to yell at a time of solemnity, and rest?". "Princess Zelda has just lost her father, please do not yell around my grieving friend". "She needs her quiet, now, Link". "All we ask is for you to be respectful in this sad time".

"I don't much like noise, myself". "If you wish to talk with Zelda, you are welcome to make an appointment". "If it's not available, do not talk to Zelda, she is busy". I said, coldly.

Link snarled as he gritted his teeth. "Don't tell me what to do". "You are the one that is being horrible to Zelda". "Stop being a wench, and maybe I'll be respectful". Link snapped.

"Please exit the property, immediately". "You are being warned". I said, coldly, with a measure of what some would call evil behind my voice. "If we see you again, you will be arrested, and/or attacked".

"I will go wherever I please". Link replied, coldly. I nodded, slowly as Zelda approached him. "Please…just go". "We'll talk soon, I promise". Zelda said. Link nodded, as he gave me an evil glare, walking away. He is such an impudent man. All men are impudent at times. Zelda watched him leave, as I walked Zelda inside. Zelda trudged beside me, as she came inside. "I'm sorry about him". "He knows not what he does". Zelda mentioned. "Well, he is a bit disgusting for someone who's known to be gallant, and well-mannered". I said, as I came into the main room. "Why are you going behind my back, and seeing him?". "Why are you acting out, Zelda darling?". I asked, gently with a reverent kindness to me that only a woman would possess. "I love him". Zelda stated. "I guess I kind of had feelings for him in the beginning, and it just turned into something more". "I'm sorry if it's against the rules, but I have to go with how I feel".

"Well, sometimes how you feel, and what is actually tangible can be two very different things with two different plausibilities". "It may be possible that what you are feeling doesn't exist in real life". "If you can't touch it, smell it, hear it, or see it, it is not real". "It is not a living being, or a concrete law set into records". "It doesn't exist, it is not real". "Have you been thinking abstractly?". I said.

"I haven't". Zelda replied. "I only know what is in my heart, and what is in there is love". "It's the love I haven't felt since I was last with my father, and my mother, it's the love that nourishes me, gives me strength, and kind of helps me to develop into a better person". "I'm a better person because of Link, he was there even before you came along, he's helped me with a lot of things". "I'm better because of him". "Please don't prevent me from seeing him".

"I won't prevent you, but know that love is intangible when it comes down to its fruition". "Men only know what they can have, physically". I said, gently. "When I was married, my husband wanted something physical that had nothing to do with what he felt inside". "There was no love there". "He never wanted children, or a house, his definition of love coincided with its monetary value". "It was there, and then he took me for someone he could take an easy advantage of, and spend his half frivolously". "Men are the lower animal, they have no skillset, or drive to accomplish merits based from intellect". "That, and they are substantially aggressive". "Men know not what they want, they're in essence, as edifying to see as a dog in a parody of breeches".

"I understand, but, I don't…I don't feel like…I don't feel like this is working". Zelda said. "Your rules are ridiculous…I mean, see my own grandmother when you give me permission?". "I feel trapped….like I can't get out…I feel suffocated". "I don't want to be known…I'm already known at this point….I want to live by my own passing". "Rules are colloquially stupid for someone of my stature". "I need freedom, I need to do something on my own rather than give up control". "That wasn't part of the plan".

"I understand your viewpoint". I mentioned, gently. "But do keep in mind, you are still a child, in essence". "You're not quite sure yet, what you need". "Your development is still small". "For now, following the rules is the true way to stay healthy, and to provide protection". "I don't want you being associated with a man, a being that can hurt you, and take advantage of you". "Please, follow my rules, and stay in step". "If you do, I'll reward you greatly with something I know you'll enjoy". "I know you've been working hard, you deserve something special". "We'll both feel good when we follow the rules, and keep healthy and happy". "I promise you".

"Would you like your reward, and to be in a good place?". "Or will you be defiant and disappoint me?". "Choose wisely, the wiser the decision, the smaller the risk". I said, gently. "You know what to do…or at least, you should". I fumbled with some of my cigarettes in my pocket. "The next time you spend time with someone, let it be a woman". "Women are much more well-meaning than men". I said, gently.

"I hope". Zelda said. Zelda seemed perturbed by the regulations. I rubbed her back, gently. "Let's come to bed now". "We have a funeral in the morning". "Come now, darling". "It's ok". I said gently. Zelda came along, walking obediently. Zelda came to her room, laying down, such a nice obedient girl.

Zelda woke up the next morning, as she sniffled. Her eyes looked to be wrought with exhaustion. "Is everything alright, Zelda, dear?". Impa asked, gently. "Everything is ok, Grandma". Zelda said as she glanced upwards. "I'm doing well….for now".

"That's excellent, honey". Impa said, gently. Impa glanced around as she kept her apportments to herself. Even so, she seemed to ignore the quiet, and the solemnity around her. She used her walker to travel from place to place. "Grandma". Zelda asked as she looked up at Impa. Impa looked down with sad eyes. "Yes, honey?". Impa replied, gently. "I was wondering….what is the price of fame….or rather….the price for fame?". Zelda asked. "Well, in order to be known for the immensity surrounding one's leadership style, and diplomatic relations…the price is pretty steep". "A woman can only place her faith in the system, and see what exactly it delivers". "The system will make her work tirelessly, and place career over faith and family". "That is why exhaustion is so abundant". Impa said, gently. "They say women can have it all, motherhood, marriage, and a career, but what they don't tell you is that at this level, it is virtually impossible". "A woman must choose between being influential, and being powerful".

"What's the difference between the two?". Zelda asked. "The difference lies within the realm of influence being special, and having a motherly, profound effect on the baby, and on your husband, while also touching millions of people's lives through the gift of understanding, and kindness, not to mention, good philosophical outlook". Impa said, gently. "Being powerful means having unlimited control over finances, having an empire, being someone with elite access to unlimited wealth and fame, while being ruthless, and aberrant towards those of a lesser status". Impa explained, kindly. "I guess….but if I had to choose, I'd rather be influential, and be kind, while retaining my humility, and having freedom to be with my family….and my love interest". Zelda said, as she sniffled. "Being powerful isn't what I want….I don't want to have a title if it means being indifferent, and unkind to anyone". "Drophy can't see that". "She can't see that I don't want wealth, and fame…I'm not a materialist". "I'd rather be someone who is respectful, and does her best to be kind, make sure everyone has what they need". "I can't be well-known if I can't be human". "It's unnatural at that point".

"Drophy is a smart woman, she may have a documented Intelligence Quotient of 167, she knows the system better than anyone it seems". Impa mentioned, gently. "She knows more than many other women her age".

"I guess…but…I don't want her controlling me, and telling me what I'm allowed, and not allowed to do". "She has no right to control me". Zelda said, sniffling. "What's the point of being powerful, and wealthy when in reality, you have no control?".

"She may just be trying to help you". Impa said, gently. "She wants to assist you in the money-making process". "With that, comes an aspect of listening to her, and following her instructions". "You have to listen to someone with more experience than you". "The rules and guidelines may be there as part of greater policies you have to follow".

"You have to listen to her, Zelda". "She's in charge right now, and she controls the finances". Impa said, gently. "I don't see the point in doing so, but ok". Zelda said. Zelda got ready for the funeral, taking her windbreaker with her. I came outside, wearing a white dress, with black heels. I clicked, and clicked with my heels. It was unstoppable, the noise of my heels. Zelda glanced upwards, hearing the sound of my heels. "Are we ready?". "The limousine is outside, and perchance ready to take us there". I said. "Yes". Zelda said, as she came to the limousine, which was waiting outside. We all got in, as Impa glanced around. "This is much bigger than I remember". Impa said, as she and Zelda sat in the back. As the driver talked a bit about business proposals, I rested my head on the seat, staring back at Zelda, princess Zelda, with my lips pursed. My white delicate fur, complete with a white scarf that snuck up to my lips. I just sat, staring at Zelda, with coherent lovingness, and delegation. I stared at her, gazing up and down her, sweet, pure, innocent Zelda. Many believed she could do it. Many had the hope, many knew her for her wisdom. I only saw a pathetic, innocent girl who was less than, with no hopes of striving, whom I could possess. The demons would be able to possess her. Hitti, Valak, as well as a few others. I stared back, coldly at Zelda, with the stare only an analytical woman would have.

Zelda glanced up at my cold, analytical stare, with her own look of multifaceted sorrow, and despair. As if she believed I was disappointed in her. I held some evil in my stare, some cynical coldness, and slime, that we both knew Zelda could see right through. I knew my Zelda was someone we both could rely on….in goodness and in truth. Zelda glanced up at me, feeling some degree of sadness. It was as if she believed I was trapping her. I was putting her in a cage, and stealing from her. Zelda only knew what she believed. Even then, she wasn't right.

As we got to the funeral, Zelda came to the casket, seeing her father laid to rest. She stared down at him, feeling a degree of sorrow, and anger. She felt a degree of sadness as well. Sadness is what came through my Zelda, as she stared down at the casket. She began crying, only changing her focus, when she saw me. She seemed to be angered with me in some way, shape, or form. Her anger was directed in a line and measure of betrayal. I only stood, looking with wise lips, as I smiled in her direction, happy she was part of the experience I had sold to her from the very beginning.
