Chapter 7
Over the next few months, Zelda had been accommodated with a lot of tours. Tours were her main propriety. Zelda had been around the World, settling at home when I knew she could be. One day, Zelda had been sitting in her room, looking over some awards. She seemed to be pleased with those. Perhaps, in some way, She had found satisfaction in the life she led. I, on the other hand, felt sickened by it. I wanted to put an offer in, that allowed for the early capture, and possession of her. That would allow for us to have full access to her abilities.
I came over to Zelda, with a lit cigarette in my hand. "Zelda, darling". I said, gently, in the softest voice I could mutter. Zelda glanced up at me. "Yes?". She asked. "I've come to realize, that you have never met my friends". "The old crew I used to pirate with, along with my late ex-husband". I said, gently. "I know". Zelda said. "I guess, this is….Hitti?". She mentioned, seeing Hitti, as he smiled a maniacal smile. "That is him". "This is our friend, Valak, as well". I mentioned, as the small, cherub sat, turning his head all the way around. "They have a special treat just for you". "We're going to our biggest public relations event ever". "They'll be your servants for the afternoon". "Your request is their demand". A wicked smile across my face, as I chuckled.
The crew came closer and closer to Zelda as they seemed to surround her. They seemed to hold some delegation over her, as they captured her, taking control of her organs. I looked on with a plain smile. They seemed to bound, and tie her, gag her, I suppose as she struggled to survive. Zelda seemed perturbed as she was cruelly hushed by Hitti. "Is this fine?". Hitti asked, with some delegation behind his voice. "This will do well". I said, with some deviousness behind my voice.
"Take her to the electrocution table". "We'll instruct her on being demonic". "She'll do well with that". I said, with some slime to my voice.
Zelda was taken to the electrocution table, as Hitti ordered her to be quiet, and not scream. Zelda, frightened, laid with some concern. "Hush little baby… don't say a word". "Daddy's going to buy you a mockingbird". "When you wake up, you'll see darkness, and only that". Hitti said, cackling maniacally, as he tied Zelda to the electrocution table. "Time to say goodbye, "princess". Hitti said, as he electrocuted Zelda, shocking her with 12 volts of electricity with every lash, and whip. Zelda screamed, as she became angry. Hitti barked at her, as she was shocked, and lashed prominently. Hitti kept shocking Zelda, cackling maniacally.
Zelda screamed, as some footsteps were heard coming towards us. "What's going on?". "What are you doing with my granddaughter?". Impa demanded, as I stood, sweating a bit, in my guilt and impudence. Link was standing behind her. He didn't look too happy.
"N-nothing…I'm perhaps just spending time with her….when these guys kidnapped her, I had no idea". I said. "Of course not". Impa snapped. "I knew you were up to something when you first came to my granddaughter". "You are a worm". "I hate you".
I pursed my lips as I heard her. "...I was only helping her". I said, calmly. "There's nothing wrong with that".
"Get away from her". Link said, with sternness. "Or I will kill you".
"Do it, and I will have you arrested". I replied, with icy coldness to my voice. That was when Link lunged, and the battle began.
With a swing of the sword, and a flick of the wrist, Link lunged at me, striking me with the Hero's sword. I dodged the attack, burrowing underneath in a moment of mole surprise. I have the ability to transform into a mole. As I dodged the sword, I knew Link would come with me using the fire ability in his sword. Still, I tried burrowing only for Link to strike me, with the sword, itself. I was sliced in half, only shaking with fear when Link approached me with the sword.
"Please…Link". I begged, with nervousness, guilt, and sweat behind my voice. "Don't hurt me". I begged, with dissonance behind my voice, trembling in fear. "I think the decision has already been made". Link said, sternly. "You either die, or be arrested, Drophy".
I trembled, while Link bound my hands and arms together. "You are under arrest". "Anything you decide to say or do, will be used against you in a court of law". Link said, sternly. "Ok". I said, as Link regained the whip from Hitti. He lashed me a couple of times, with the whip, being sure that the whip, lashed me but well.
Scared, I ducked under the table, while I was lashed a few times on the stomach. Link placed my arms in the arrest position. "Come with me". Link said, as he led me to the police asylum. As I sat inside, I had known I would rot in the prison. I had known I would rot inside for a long amount of time.
I didn't see much of Link or Zelda after that. I knew they wouldn't need me. Even so, Link and Zelda had their own prominence. They didn't need me at all. It was something. Whatever it was.
While I was foiled, while prison took the life from me, I have learned a valuable lesson. Women, such as Zelda have brute men behind her. She has men behind her that are brute, moral, strengthened, and somewhat intermittent with undying support for her. There was some unwavering support, yet there was strength. I knew never to coincide with Zelda. I knew that was nothing. As I foraged into the distance, I knew there was nothing. It was relative…at least now it was. However, it was what it was. Oh well.
Zelda and Link lived happily ever after. Even if I didn't. Isn't that human nature….when the villain gets their undoing, and the protagonist wins. But am I a villain? In the ways I helped Zelda? I'd like to say I made Zelda happy with the promise of power. But she didn't stay long enough to see. Oh well. Humans are naive. Even royalty is naive. But even so, it's something. Oh well. In ordinance, it's something. The legend of Hyrule, the Legend of Zelda stays. Even if she stays. The world stays grateful to her identity. Fortunately. Hmm…well then.
The end.
