Chapter 6

"Well now, today is the fine day". I said, gently. Ira glanced upwards as she saw me while sitting up in her bed. "What do you mean?". Ira asked. "Mmm, don't you rememba?". "Today is your special banquet". I said, gently. "Why don't you put on a pretty dress for us?". "Your banquet dress". I smiled a kind, yet skittish smile, as an evil grin, and the tremble of my whiskers came to call. My sunglasses were off today, as well. "That would be nice….do I have to wear it as of now?". Ira asked. "I would suggest it, in case we have the banquet early". "It's more of a luncheon than it is a banquet, something that's a combination of both". I said, gently. "I know". Ira said. "Well, allow me to escort you, darling". I said, kindly. "Since we've been friends for so long…and we've held one another's hands throughout life". "It would be easiest".

"First, allow me to get ready, myself". "I still have to shave and whatnot". I remembered. Ira nodded, as she waited inside. The outside was looking very grim. There was a fast ball of fire traveling at a rapid rate coming towards us, as the sky was red. Rubbing the brooch, I summoned the spirit that had been in sleeping for so long. With this chant;

Arku Arkuk Minto

Sasa Minto Deto

Sarku Saswa Ito Potur

Inta Hagra Nifika

I chanted this old spell to awaken the corpse of Al Lusion. Sure enough, from the theater, as the old bearded man stood, watching while he awaited his money, his cut, the rattling from the iron maiden grew thicker, and louder, as the latch was broken off of it, significantly. The old man glanced downwards, seeing a rotted, disgusting, bony, fleshy corpse of Al Lusion rise from the Iron Maiden. Shrieking a demonic shriek, that echoed in his roars, Al Lusion roared in anger, and vengeance, as he clawed and ripped, tore his way through the iron maiden. The old man looked the zombie up and down, observantly. He rubbed his beard, as his shoes clicked. "Well, well, well". "You look as ready to get revenge as always, Mr. Magician". The old man remarked. "Those who wronged you; those who played you for someone naive, neglected you". "Well, you can be angry with them". "I just wish to bring your target here once more before you set on your rampage". "Let's stay here for just a bit, if that sounds alright".

Al Lusion listened properly, knowing once more, as I was on the phone with the old man. "Yes, hello, good morning". I said, into the phone as I zipped my vest. "Yes, I have her here". "She is coming right away". "I do have your cut". I lied, as I exchanged pleasantries before hanging up. That was one thing I may have lied about. Having a bit of money for the man. I forwarded the cut of payments to myself, and then spent his half of the money on cigarettes. I may be foolish, and spineless for doing so, but it is well worth the half I spent. I grinned, as Ira walked out. "Honey, you look beautiful". "The sponsors will love you". I said, gently. "I'm impressed".

Ira nodded, as she glanced around. She noticed the sky a violent red color as some yellow streaks were in the sky. Collision with Earth was imminent. "Come with me, my love". I said, gently, while grinning an evil grin. Ira nodded, as she came into my old car, driving to the theater. I blindfolded her, all in the essence of not ruining the….surprise.

As Ira came to the theater amidst the burning heat, and the comet, I led her into the theater where Al Lusion was waiting to chomp down, and take hold of his supposed victims. "This is your banquet". I said, gently, as an evil, greasy grin spread across my face. I chained Ira to the iron maiden, as Al Lusion was released. I stood, conversing with the old man. "Well, you've done significantly proficient, Ace". The old man said, as he clicked around in his shoes. "I see you've enjoyed your cut of the profits, now, shall I have mine?". "And may our magician have his?".

I nodded, as I smiled a bit. "That might be possible, but you see, I've had other plans with it". I said, as I grinned. "I sort of don't know where the money is…and while I have held onto it, it kind of meandered off into its own sect".

Al Lusion's eyes began to flash, as the old man's stare became grim. "Where's our cut?!". Al Lusion snapped, as he roared. "Where's the money, you little insect?!".

"I told you, I don't know". I lied, nervously. "I had other plans with it".

It was then that Al Lusion grabbed me by the shirt, or the vest, working his way up to my throat. "Don't lie to me!". Al Lusion roared. "I'm not". "I told you, I don't know where the money went". I replied, nervously. Al Lusion threw me aside, as the old man came nearer to me. "I do believe I know the truth of this". The old man replied. "Ace kept our half, and spent the money for himself, if I know him well". The old man now stood over me. "Isn't that correct?".

I nodded, as I began sweating. "I do believe it is". I said, with a bit of nervous choke to me.

"Well, usually while I would discourage someone for being so selfish, and petty, you have done well delivering us the disabled girl". The old man said. "Very well done, Ace". "Now, be a true sorcerer and deliver her to our magician friend". The old man grinned a nasty grin, as he helped me up, while I scrambled to my feet. I neared Ira, as I unbound her blindfold. "What…what is going on?". "Who is that?". Ira asked, as she became uncomfortable.

"Ace….what is going on?". Ira asked, sadly. "Are you trying to execute me or something?".

"No, it's nothin". "I swear, nothin's goin on". "I had nothin to do with it". "They put me up to it, I swear". I lied through my face.

"Oh, Ira, I'm glad you made it". The Old man said, as he came nearer to Ira. "As it turns out, you're the most important out of all of us". "You're the guest of honor". The Old Man bound Ira in chains, as Al Lusion was released, lunging towards Ira. Ira put her hands up, as Al Lusion snapped, and snarled at her, releasing an evil power.

With a bit of prayer, and with a crucifix, Ira was able to summon something that was mightier than Al Lusion. But unfortunately, nothing could be done.

"Your powers are rendered obsolete, and suspended within these chains". The old man informed. "You are still, and vegetative against the enemy at hand". "There's nothing, and no one that can help you now, "Saint" Ira". The man sniggered. "If you are such a Saint, a child of God, why is it that you cannot defeat evil at its base level?". "This intrigues me, but onto another subject". "Time to die now". "In a few short hours, the comet will hit Earth, and destroy life as we know it". "You are powerless, and unable to stop anything". "Anyhow, in a short summary, time to die". "Farewell now". The old man sniggered as he released Al Lusion while I stood by, sniggering as well. Al Lusion came closer and closer, lunging at Ira as he snarled, biting her arm. Ira shook her head, as she struggled. She closed her eyes, waiting for the end, as Al Lusion kept on with his biting.

It seemed we were winning. It seemed my theory about women being the lesser was correct, as suddenly, there came a crash through the wall. The old man glanced upwards, seeing none otha than who we dreaded seeing. The Powerpuff girls. All three of em.

"Unhand Ira….now". Blossom growled as she came in through the window. We all stared upwards, glancing as we saw the girls. "Don't be foolish". The old man cackled. "In a few short moments, Earth will be destroyed, and Ira will die as she lived". "A fraud".

"I agree wit him". I said, cackling as well. "Zip it, convict!". Buttercup said, as she growled through her teeth. "Ooo, looks who's talkin". "Some other foolish woman". "Y'know, it's no wonder men have the higher wage, the better outlook, and the dominance". "Because he's much better than a poor, idiot, dirty woman". I said, hissing a bit. "It's no wonder us men will destroy Earth". "Because he is destined for intellect".

This made Buttercup growl, as she picked me up by my vest, lunging me towards Al Lusion, while Bubbles made the distraction. Blossom, used ice breath, triple ice breath, to freeze the old man, freezing him in an ice cube. Then, it was the big time for her to hurl the old man towards outer space. And hurl him she did. Bubbles unlocked Ira from the chains, destroying the chains turning them to dust with her heat ray. (cartoon logic for this one).

"Don't worry, Ira". "we're here for you". Blossom said, in her gentle voice. "We'll take care of you….don't be afraid of us".

Ira nodded, as she glanced upwards. "Here's what we'll do, we're going to use all of our powers combined to destroy Al Lusion, and destroy the comet that's heading towards Earth". Blossom explained, gently.

"Are you sure?". "What if I can't do it?". Ira asked. "It'll be ok". "We won't hurt you". Blossom said, gently. "It's different this time". "We'll hold you….and we won't let go". Blossom nodded, as Ira swallowed hard, getting up from her position, as she made it towards the girls, as they touched foreheads, saying a quick prayer. I myself, I was being chewed limb from limb by Al Lusion, as my arm was pulled from its socket. As I glanced around, I saw the girls combine assets, combine powers through their prayers. Saying their prayers, they touched foreheads, combining their assets. A white light, some tints of blue, some tints of pink began to touch down over the girls. As the tints began to shine a light over everyone, the tints glowed a bright white engulfing the theater in a massive bubble, a massive dome that overtook all of Townsville, it seemed. With each prayer, and with each aspect, the bubble only grew wider, and wider until it overtook the majority of Townsville. With each aspect of wideness, and each aspect of holy power, there was a loud shriek from Al Lusion, a loud demonic shriek, that resulted in a wide, red bubble. The red bubble was that of evil power, and evil prowess. Al Lusion shrieked loudly, as everything in the theater, everything in all of Townsville began to shake, and tremble violently. It was as if a massive Earthquake was on the verge of destroying Townsville. Buildings began to rupture, the theater began collapsing, as buildings around, began shaking, and towers began swaying. The Powerpuff girls still prayed, along with Ira, as Al Lusion felt his shrieks were in vain at this point.

The white bubble overtook the red bubble, popping it, as Al Lusion screamed a small scream, while his bones, his flesh, were ripped to pieces. He collapsed into a million pieces, scattered across the collapsed theater that was now leveled. I ran for my life, screaming as I escaped the collapsing building. The building didn't fall directly on me, but I did run to the house, dashing inside to make sure my boys were ok.

The white bubble only grew wider, and wider until it was massive enough to cover the sky where the comet was. With as much evil as the comet contained, the white bubble destroyed the comet, as the rock, and ice shattered into a billion little pieces. The red in the sky disappeared, but soon, there was a violent Earthquake, a violent tremble followed by a few loud sonic booms, and everything was engulfed. Then everything went black. And that was the end of that. Some might say it was Armageddon. Some might say it's a symbolism for nuclear war, some might say, it was metaphysical. I say, I didn't remember anything. Because I was knocked unconscious. oh…boy….(everything blacks out).

Ira and the girls woke up, as they glanced around them. "They are ok". "I see them blinking". A voice said. Ira opened her eyes, seeing the Professor, and Ms. Bellum glancing down at her. Bubbles and Blossom opened their eyes seeing the professor. "...daddy?". Blossom said, as she struggled to open her eyes. "Yes, honey….it's ok now". "I'm here". The Professor said, gently. Blossom and Buttercup woke up, seeing the professor, as they hugged him. "wait….Bubbles!". The girls said, as they glanced under the pile of stones. Bubbles wriggled her way out, climbing upwards. The girls hugged, as they came close to one another.

"That was nice, what you all did". Ms. Bellum said, gently. "You all were close, you all stuck together, and helped Ira when she needed it most". "By the way, is she alright?".

"I'm ok". Ira said, as she climbed out. "Thank you for helping me". Ira smiled as she dusted the rubble off of her dress. "It meant a lot to me". "You all are the best". "You're a true family to me".

The Powerpuff girls came in to hug Ira, as everyone around, clapped for the girls. "Thank you". The girls said, as Ira nodded as well. The Professor came over, hugging the girls as well. "Oh my….". The professor said. "You all….that was amazing". "The way you defeated those demons…and stopped that comet". "That was…..that was incredible". "I am so in awe…you girls truly are the best ones the world, the planet has ever seen". The Professor said. "Well, that is nice of you to say….but…we really owe our success to Saint Ira". "She's the one with the true superpower". Blossom said. Ira stood, looking down at her feet. "Oh…thank you". Ira said. "I did what I needed to do…what was necessary in the moment".

Ira smiled a bit. "Well, you did an extraordinary job, helping us". "You are a true heroine". The professor said, gently. He and the Powerpuff girls hugged Ira, as she smiled. Ira glanced upwards, looking around. She found life to be quite appeasing at the moment.

Even so, the girls went inside to clean up, while the rest of the world thanked them. Quite extraordinary.

Ira glanced around as she looked up and down the Powerpuff girls' house. "This is nice". Ira said. "It is a good place to live, I'll bet".

"It definitely is". Blossom said, as she glanced around. "I guess we get the perks because we're responsible for saving the city, usually".

"Well, it is nice". Ira said, as she glanced out of the window. "I'm glad we have you to protect".

"We're glad you helped". Blossom said, kindly as she and Ira, as well as the Powerpuff Girls stared out of the window. The Powerpuff Girls seemed to take in the victory as they glanced outwards, seeing the city in its sunlight….safe, and clean, while the sunset was over the horizon…Townsville was nice once again.

I ended up in the slammer. I wound up doing 300 hours of community service as well as no parole.

But hey, prison isn't as bad as it seems. They have three square meals a day, and there's a metal toilet. But it is what it is. Oh well. The day is saved by the Powerpuff Girls.

Perhaps life is finite. Perhaps life is somethin we all take for granted. Even so, I still am the Ace ya'll know and love. I'm still the criminal gettin in trouble. But I still do what I can. Even so. Later on, I got out of prison, and I joined the Gorillaz. But that's another story for another day. Oh well. Over and out from ya boy. One day, I'll defeat those PPG's. One day, I'll get em. But for now, I'll stay with my provisions. Ace's provisions. Hmm, isn't that somethin? Ah well. Life is somethin. I'll be back….and I'll get them….just like I've got everyone. That's a given.

The end.
