"Yeah, it's called a submarine;" Kagami clarified "Now please stay quiet. I have to concentrate."
"But Kagami," Yutaka asked "where are we going?"
"We're going to see my new friend Minami, to be quite honest I'm getting sick of Inori's constant nitpicking." Kagami answered.
"Oh! So who is Minami? Is she big and strong?" Yutaka followed up.
"No," Kagami answered. "Actually, she is rather modest; you could learn a thing or two from her."
"Wow" Yukari gasped in amazement; she was excited to meet a new friend.
Arriving on the Island that Minami lived on, Yutaka was taken aback by the otherworldly buildings and plants. Kagami however, did not convey such emotions; she had grown used to the new sights of her friend's realm and was more eager to get some paper signed.
"Ah, konbanwa Kagami, it's nice to see you again." Minami said timidly after she opened the door to Kagami and her Scarlet-headed friend "Who is this?" She asked.
"My name's Yutaka! I hope we can become great friends and eat pasta together!" Yutaka said loudly.
"Shh, Minami prefers quiet." Kagami said firmly to Yukata.
"What's pasta?" Minami asked.
"Something you don't need to worry about. Now let's get this alliance signed." Kagami said determinedly as she walked in.
Around the kotatsu, the three girls took turns signing the treaty. First Kagami, then Minami, and then Yutaka. But as soon as she had signed it she was fast asleep.
"I imagine she is normally like this." Minami commented timidly.
"Ja." Kagami confirmed.
"How do you cope with it?" Minami asked, pressing further.
"I usually don't." Kagami clarified
Night turned to day, and the next morning the three allies boarded a ship to head back to Kagami's house. They were about half an hour from arriving when they got a telegram.
They were at war.
