As expected, her team wins the game against their old rivals, Tori making the winning touchdown in the final seconds with a very even score, effectively crushing the rival high school for the fifth time in a row. Jade watches as the other players carry Tori on their shoulders, blue gatorade dripping down her throat and onto his neck. It's quite hot.

On Monday, Jade walks to the patio for lunch with a light step, her long brown hair with purple highlights secured by a light purple headband.

"Who are you trying to impress?" Cat asked sweetly as Jade dropped onto the grass beside her. ¿Was she really that obvious?

"Nobody. Mind your own business, Cat," Jade growled, pretending to be angry at her friend's stupid question.

"Really? Because right now I could go to the dining room and whisper to Tori that you're in love with her, right now."

"Cat," Jade hisses, turning to the aforementioned with a death glare in her green eyes. How could she?! Aren't they supposed to be best friends with her?!

Cat conveniently has the nerve to be a little apologetic, scratching her neck sheepishly. "Come on Jadey, you know I'm incapable of keeping any secrets."

Jade knew it, she's known the redhead for a long time and you know both her weak points and her strong points, but her biggest weakness is that she doesn't know how to lie or keep secrets, she shows right away when she goes of bluff.

"I guess," Jade comments, biting harder into the lettuce on her sandwich, eating it more ferociously.

"Looks like I didn't even have to get up," Cat adds repeatedly, with a smirk that wouldn't envy a Cheshire cat's, as she looks past where Jade is sitting. Oh no. "Your jock is headed our way Jade"

In fact it is, Tori walks slowly but surely down the path, two guys on either side of her, talking animatedly to both of them. Andre and Robbie, as Jade found out from Cat, are two of the Latina's favorite people in the whole world, maybe besides her Swift Wind hamster. The two are also on the soccer team.

Truth be told, Jade feels a bit like a creep. In the car after the game, the goth questioned Cat about Tori being an inch from her life. Is it a little weird that she now knows what perfume Tori wears? Maybe.

Tori chooses that moment to run her slender fingers through her hair, effectively executing the kill shot on Jade's execution. She tries to stifle a scream.

Tori listens to him slightly, the Latina directs her gaze from her to Jade, the sun shining on her face in a way that makes her look angelic, her impressive eyes shining with the warmth of joy.

"Hey!" she calls animatedly, closing the distance between her and Jade. "How are you? Did I give you a concussion?" She asked, still worried about the girl's condition, feeling guilty.

You better have, Jade thinks. Good thing she has a filter.

"N-None of that. Just a bruise "-she comments with a small stutter in her voice, completely mesmerized by the look of her counterpart.

Tori moves even closer. Jade catches a breath of her hair, all floral white and jasmine that makes Jade's knees start to go weak and shake. The Quaterback tucks a jet lock behind Jade's ear, wincing as she watches the remnants of purple-blue dotting her cheek. Thank goodness for the concealer.

"She looks better than yesterday...what's your name, by the way?"

"I am… I am Jade."

"Jade? That's a nice name! I'm Tori.

Cute? Is Jade cute? The puppies are cute and fluffy. Jade is a silly and scary name for some.

Cat loves to make her presence known. This is especially true with new people, a feat Jade definitely found in her first meeting. "I'm Cat! -Comments the redhead, completely happy, about to throw herself into the arms of the brunette.

"You're in the choir, right? Do you know Sam?-asks Andre with a little curiosity

Jade knows her as a fellow actor and president of the GSA. Also, her parents run the theater department, so.

" Me ? We have lived on the same street for years! "-She replies with joy on her face Cat

Jade is puzzled, staring dumbly at the sandwich crumbs in her tupperware container. She bites her thumb.

"I like your headband, by the way. Where did you get it?" Tori asks in that sweet voice of hers, barely above a whisper.

"I think it's from my adoptive sister" Jade murmured.

"Is she as cute as you?"

Jade feels herself flush an unflattering pink, cheeks hot enough to cook an egg. She swallows her saliva, pathetically hiding behind her hair.

"She's nine years old" -answers the goth trying to no avail to take her gaze away from the Latina

"Ah," Tori hums, "I bet you're good with kids, then."

Jade laughs awkwardly. She sounds like an idiot. A sighing lovesick idiot lesbian.

Robbie bumps her shoulder into Tori's, successfully ending the miserable conversations between her and Jade. "We have to go, "Tor". The bell is about to ring "-the boy communicated, putting his glasses on, not wanting his legendary punctuality to be forgotten

Tori just nods, though there's something in her eyes that Jade can't necessarily discern. She looks…disappointed, perhaps?

"See you later, Jade?"-Tori looks hopeful. Despite her misgivings, there's no way Jade is going to let her down.

"See you later."
