The Archery Tournament Part 2
The next morning of the archery tournament dawned with bright sunshine.
Everyone from each camp gathered in Camp Rosewood's canteen for breakfast.
"What's for breakfast, Kari," Hikaru inquired. "I heard from this Bryce dude that this Carole Hanson chick really knows how to cook!"
Carole came into the dining room area of the canteen with the breakfast foods she made.
"We are having bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, toast and jam, buttermilk pancakes with fruit, and milk to drink." Carole answered Hikaru.
"That sounds better to me than mystery stew! If I had to eat any more of that, I'd lose it!" Hikaru commented.
After breakfast, it was time for the next day of the archery tournament to begin.
After the archery tournament with Fort MacArthur winning the event with the most bull's eyes, it was time for all the campers of each camp to pack up their bags or trunks for the trip home.
That evening after returning home, Carole was getting settled in.
When Mitchell called her.
"Carole! Supper's on!" Mitchell called.
"Coming, Dad!" Carole called back.
Carole was so glad to be home because she missed her dad.
