Bayley rallies the God Girls when Seth tries to pull Sasha out of deep waters with the McMahon family and Bray Wyatt on his own and Roman Reigns files for custody of Abiyah Rollins.
Chapter Twelve – The Friend of Friends
The Sandbox
The Rock came over to the Sandbox to see what his wife Bayley was doing. It had been days since he'd heard from her, and he had no idea what she was doing with the God Girls since Seth Rollins walked out on them to be with his wife Sasha Banks.
"Whoa," the People's Champ said as he looked up at the newly restored Sandbox, it was a sight to behold. "This is better than my house in LA,"
"Well duh, its our house now, of course its better than yours," Charlotte Flair said coming to the door to let the Rock in.
"Hey Charlotte, how you doing?" Rocky asked the Queen while giving her a hug.
"Hunter just gave us the Sandbox so I'm pretty good, come in and say hi to the Girls," Charlotte said, and she escorted the Rock to the DX family room where Becky, Bianca, Bayley and Alexa were discussing what to do about Sasha Banks.
"Seriously, I say we throw her birthday parties every day for the rest of the year. It'll drive her nuts!" Becky Lynch said, and the God Girls laughed.
Bayley saw her husband and reached up to him for a hug.
"Hey babe, nice of you to come over. Missing me much?" Bayley said as they kissed each other gently.
"Yeah well, you can only hang out with John Cena for so long before wishing you had a barrel you could dump him in," Rocky replied. "So, this is your new place huh? How come DX gave it to you guys?"
"Because we're awesome Rocky," Becky replied coolly.
"Yes, that is true, we are awesome but the real reason we got the Sandbox is because Hunter wanted to keep us safe from Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt. He thinks there's going to be some sort of attack on us, this way at least he can keep an eye on us while Seth's spending time with Sasha," Bianca explained, and the Rocky looked at Bayley quizzically.
"So, you still haven't mended things with Sasha? She's your best friend, how has this not blown over yet?" Rocky asked Bayley.
"Because she's a McMahon now and she wants to please her father. She clearly has unresolved Daddy issues and Seth understands that. We're the ones who need to catch up, there's nothing we can do other than prepare for her next move," Bayley said but Rocky gave her a very unimpressed look.
"Bayley, no-one knows Sasha better than you. You should have fixed this whole mess and come back home days ago, what is the freakin' hold up?" Rocky said impatiently and the God Girls exchanged glances.
"Excuse me but Bayley isn't the only one being affected by Sasha's misbehaviour, we all are. The God Girls are a group, we don't work autonomously. Even if Bayley had the perfection solution on how to deal with the Boss, we couldn't act on it until God says so," Bianca said.
"You guys need to tell God to make with the solution to the Sasha Banks problem, I have plans with my wife that I would like to start putting in motion," Rocky said to the God Girls and Alexa Bliss furrowed her brow.
"Plans like what?" she asked the People's Champ.
"Like getting pregnant," Rocky replied and the God Girls gasped and subsequently started screaming with joy.
"Bayley and Rocky sitting in a tree, trying to have a bay-be!" Charlotte cheered as the God Girls applauded.
Bayley blushed while the Rocky smiled broadly, "Yes but that's never going to happen if you Girls don't fix this thing, so please for the love of God and country, get on with it!" he said before kissing his wife and heading to the kitchen to make some People's pancakes.
Roman Reigns came in with his wife Galina as the God Girls celebrated a yet-to-be conceived Bayley baby. Deciding to stay over until DX returned, the Reigns wondered what the God Girls were going to come up with without Seth's anointed hand to guide them.
"My cousin's got a point, what is God telling you Girls to do about Sasha?" Roman asked but the God Girls had already switched to listing baby names for BayRock.
"I like Helen, Helen Johnson," Charlotte said, and Becky and Bianca looked at her like she was crazy.
"What are you, a Wall Street secretary from the 80's?" Becky asked Charlotte. "No, the baby will be called Willow Jane,"
"No, the baby will be called Greta Barbie," Alexa Bliss added, and the God Girls broke into an argument while Bayley turned to Roman and Galina trying to tune them out.
"So, in answer to your question, I have an idea about how to handle the Sasha situation but like Bianca said, we can't really do anything until God gives us the go-ahead," Bayley said and Roman and Galina nodded.
"We understand, we just want to see you get pregnant so we can tease Rocky about how the baby eats like a Samoan," Roman said. "I hope you're prepared to make up to six meals a day,"
"We've shared a locker room for ten years Roman; I think I'm ready to have a half-Samoan child. What I'm not ready to do is move on my best friend until I hear from God, I hope my husband can understand that. The God Girls have a limited schedule as most of us are going to be in a family way by the end of the year, starting with Bianca. I would love my name to be on that list too. We just have to wait a little bit longer," Bayley said.
"So, what's your idea from when God gives you the okay?" Galina asked Bayley.
"Well, I haven't discussed it with the God Girls yet, but my idea is to show Sasha just how incredible the God Girls are, so she doesn't hate us so much," Bayley said.
"Oh yeah, well how are you going to do that? After all you've done for her, if she doesn't know how incredible you are by now, how are you going to change her mind?" Galina asked.
"I think that Abiyah's Gift from God will increase the more time he spends with us. I think we should babysit him for a week, then he will do incredible things, without Seth and Sasha around. Then, when Sasha realises the difference we can make in his life, she won't resent him so much for being your son instead of Seth's and she'll thank us for making her see how awesome what God is doing in all of our lives really is. At the moment, she can't see the value in our God given assignment, she's never understood why the God Girls were created and why Seth was commissioned by ATM to lead us. But, if she sees God's power at work in Abiyah, it might make her realise that there are better things in life than being a McMahon. Being around the God Girls can be pretty great too," Bayley said and Roman and Galina smiled.
"Well, I sure don't need convincing, I hope God gives you the green light because that sounds like an awesome idea," Galina said and Roman nodded.
"You're certainly God Girl worthy Bayley, that's a great idea. If it goes ahead, you could be pregnant before SummerSlam," Roman said and Bayley shook her head.
"Then I'd have to sit SummerSlam out, hopefully I'll be pregnant after SummerSlam," Bayley said.
"I'll believe that for you, do you know what you'll be doing on the biggest even of the Summer yet?" Roman asked her and Bayley shook her head.
"I don't care just as long as I get to be on the show, I'd love to work with Charlotte since Bianca won't be available. How's things lining up for you and the Bloodline?" Roman said and he shrugged nonchalantly.
"Same as always, we dominate," Roman replied, "right now my mind is elsewhere. Gal and I want custody of Abiyah way before SummerSlam, that's why your plan needs to go into action soon Bayley. I don't like the idea of my son being linked to the McMahon family at all. He needs to be with a family that has his best interests at heart and right now, that's not his mother or his father, even though Seth is just um…"
Bayley frowned at Roman as he trailed off, "Seth's just what?" she asked puzzled and Roman fumbled over his words.
"Nevermind, I'm gonna go see what the Rock is cooking in the kitchen, come with me Gal," Roman said quickly dragging his wife to join the People's Champ while Bayley turned back to the God Girls who were still arguing over baby names for the yet-to-be-conceived BayRock baby.
"Hey guys?" Bayley said but the God Girls ignored her.
"We don't even know if the baby will be a boy or a girl, how come all our suggestions are female?" Becky said.
"Okay, let's put some boys' names on the list. My first pick is Llewyn Parker Jones," Alexa said, and the other God Girls nodded with approval.
"We approve!" Charlotte said and they started an LPJ chant.
"LPJ! LPJ! LPJ! LPJ!"
"Guys enough with the baby names, I'm not even pregnant yet! I just had a weird conversation with Roman about Seth. I think he knows something that he's not telling us. Do you think there's a chance that Seth could be pretending to be in alliance with Sasha and Shane McMahon?" Bayley asked and the God Girls looked at her like she was crazy.
"Well of course he's pretending, you didn't actually think he'd turned on us for real did you Bayls?" Bianca said and Alexa and Charlotte shook their heads in disbelief at Bayley while Becky remained silent.
"It still sucks," Becky replied with her arms folded.
"So, that means that Sasha thinks Seth is against us when he's not, which means he must be working overtime to keep up the façade. What if she finds out he's only pretending, do you think Seth would get hurt?" Bayley said and the God Girls all looked at Bianca.
"Well, is Seth safe or not?" Charlotte asked her and she rubbed her pregnant stomach.
"Honestly guys, none of us are safe. As much as Hunter wants to protect us, until God give us the go-ahead, we're biding time until the next attack and there's one coming soon," Bianca said looking at Becky.
"Why are you looking at me?" Becky asked the EST.
"Why do you tink?" Bianca said in a mock Irish accent.
"Because its always me?" Becky replied and Bianca nodded, "Oh great, just when I thought I wouldn't have to kick anyone's butt for a while,"
"Okay so we're gonna be attacked, what else is new?" Bayley replied, "You didn't answer my question though Bianca; what's gonna happen to Seth if Sasha finds out he's been lying to her this whole time?"
Bianca rubbed her stomach again and the other God Girls intervened on her unborn child's behalf, "That's enough questions Bayley, let's focus on the positive, which is…your gonna have a baby!" Charlotte said and the God Girls resumed their rejoicing over a child yet-to-be-conceived and in lieu of an attack from the McMahon family that was soon to come.
