ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Bloodline Wars
Bayley rallies the God Girls when Seth tries to pull Sasha out of deep waters with the McMahon family and Bray Wyatt on his own and Roman Reigns files for custody of Abiyah Rollins.
Chapter Eighteen – When God Girls Collide
The ATM Machine sped in-between the other cars on the road trying to get ahead of the flying Becky Lynch. The sun was still high in the sky and the God Girls could see their enraged comrade soaring like a red arrow, aiming directly for the Sheraton Hotel where Beth Hardy was up to no good with her husband Finn Balor.
"I can't believe we're speeding downtown," Bianca said with her head in her hands. "This ain't nuthin but a distraction,"
"Now you understand why Bray Wyatt is such a dangerous man. He knows exactly how to get in your head if your guard is down," Trish Stratus said as she called her husband and told him what was going on. Randy Orton was not happy but he wasn't happy with anything concerning this assignment right now. He was with his family at Harvard and he was tempted to come to Connecticut but for some reason God told him not to leave.
Bianca was trying to re-focus, as much as a distraction as Beth Hardy was, the God Girls could prevent things from escalating as long as they got to the hotel before Becky did.
High in the sky, Becky was racing against time zoning in on the Sheraton hotel from above and she was about to descend on it, when something caught her eye. She slowed down as Seth and Sasha came into focus. They were on Shawl embracing like they were on some romantic holiday. Well Becky was about to crash that party.
"Balor can wait, I need to talk to you two dopes!" she said and Seth and Sasha screamed when they saw her.
"Becky! What are you doing up here?!" Seth said indignantly and Becky took hold of Shawl's golden tassels.
"How sweet would it be to whip Shawl right out from underneath you two and watch as you plunder to the Earth!" Becky said and Seth and Sasha grabbed each other for support.
"I'm pregnant you wouldn't dare hurt me," Sasha said and Seth noticed the crazed look in Becky's eyes.
"Becky please just leave us alone, go back to the God Girls so we can find Abiyah before Roman finds out he's missing," Seth said.
"You're never gonna find that kid, he deserves better parents than you," Becky said and she let go of Shawl who did not flinch at her touch. Becky meant no harm it was the sight of Seth and Sasha having what appeared to be a good time that put her over the edge. "Enjoy your flying carpet ride, don't even think of coming back down to Earth without Roman's son,"
Seth couldn't help himself and he spoke. He knew Becky was being distracted by Beth Hardy and if he didn't say something now, the God Girls were going to be in a lot of trouble.
"Wait," he said to Becky before she flew off.
"What?" Becky asked resentfully though her face showed that she was also hurt over Seth's decision to leave her and the God Girls to draw even closer to his already distant wife.
"You're right, Abiyah doesn't want to be around us right now which is probably why we can't find him. But if you come with us – "
"What?!" Sasha yelled before Seth gagged her with his hand.
"We might find him," Seth continued as Sasha tried to wrestle away from his grip over her face. She spoke her disagreement from under his hand. "We've been looking for him for hours, we have no idea where he is. But if we're with you our luck might change. In spite of how we feel about each other right now, Abiyah loves the God Girls, so will you fly around with us for a while?"
Becky's heart rose at the idea of Seth asking her for help right in front of Sasha and she resisted the urge to tell him to stick it.
"Okay," she said and instantly God told Becky where Abiyah and DX were. "They're in trouble we better move fast!"
Seth raced behind Becky to get DX and Abiyah out of the danger they were now in, though it was more DX who were in danger and not Abiyah. The Lil Big Dog could handle himself as Seth, Sasha and Becky were about to find out.
Meanwhile back down on the ground, ATM and the God Girls rushed into the Sheraton hotel and found Beth Hardy having cocktails with Finn Balor, AJ Styles and the Hurt Business. They got there before Becky which meant that there would be no drama. Having managed to avoid the chaos thanks to Seth's intervention from above, Bianca said a prayer of thanks before the God Girls sat next to a very ruffled yet very attractive Beth Hardy.
"Isn't this a nice surprise!" Beth said getting to her feet and greeting ATM and the God Girls individually. Beth noticed that Becky was missing and that puzzled her slightly and it really bothered Finn.
"Where's Rebecca?" Finn asked the God Girls after taking a sip of his whiskey.
"She's helping Seth and Sasha find Abiyah and DX," Bianca replied and the other God Girls looked at her amazed.
"She is?! Oh, thank God!" Charlotte said and Alexa and Bayley gave a sigh of relief that Becky was actually helping them all out instead of making things worse. It bothered Bayley slightly that she wasn't the one to be with Seth and Sasha right now but that was secondary to Abiyah and DX being found. Beth was uncomfortable about DX being found but she was relieved about the idea of Abiyah being found. The last thing the CEO wanted was to be in hot water with Roman Reigns or any of the Bloodline.
"There's been a lot of talk of this brand-new storyline you've got planned for all these guys," Bianca said gesturing to Finn Balor and the Hurt Business. "I'm on maternity leave so I'm not expecting any action but what about the rest of the God Girls, what have you got planned for them at SummerSlam?"
Beth Hardy folded her arms annoyed at Bianca's tone, "Last time I checked EST, I am the one who signs off on the major storylines going into all of our live events. This storyline is a priority and it will be treated as such. I do have something in mind for the rest of you God Girls but I'll clue you in on it when Becky comes back with Abiyah," Beth said firmly and the God Girls furrowed their brows.
"Sounds to me like you're trying to placate us Beth, we're just trying to find out what we'll be doing on one of the biggest shows of the year," Charlotte said flicking her hair out confidently. "Why do we have to wait for Becky to come back for you to tell us that?"
Beth gave a cruel smile, "I'd rather all of the God Girls be here before I reveal your role in SummerSlam. I think you're going to need each other's support once you hear what I have in mind,"
Alexa and Bayley shook their heads, something had happened to Beth Hardy and Charlotte didn't like her change in attitude.
"You just remember one thing Lil Miss Hardy; I might be a God Girl but I am also Charlotte Flair. You don't wanna mess with my career, so I suggest you start taking us a lot more seriously," Charlotte said and the other God Girls smiled as Charlotte stared Beth Hardy down.
Beth Hardy sighed with disappointment, "Man, I was really hoping for a better outlook from you Charlotte but I see you've been sucked into this "all for one" garbage like ATM were back in the day when they decided they wanted to work for God, instead of Vince McMahon. That might have worked out alright for them, you God Girls might not be so lucky," she said.
"Spoken like a true McMahon," Trish Stratus said. "I see you've chosen not to heed your mother's warning Elizabeth, using Transcendence irresponsibly, talking down to the female Superstars. These are interesting choices for a new CEO and I'd worry less about Charlotte's outlook and start thinking about your own,"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Beth said irritated and Bianca Belair stood a little closer to her.
"It means that if Abiyah Rollins is not back on solid ground in short order, you might not have a SummerSlam to promote. You better pray to God that Becky finds Roman's baby boy, 'cause when it comes to his family, the only colour Roman sees is bloodline red," Bianca warned Beth who gulped nervously.
"It was a mistake I never meant for Abiyah to be Transcended!" Beth panicked and Finn Balor touched her shoulders to calm her down.
"Its alright Beth, Becky will find Abiyah and everything will be just fine," he assured her confidently and Beth calmed down.
"Thank you Finn, that's all I needed to hear," she replied flirtatiously and Amy Michaels grabbed Beth's arm which was now burning on account of Amy's Righteous Indignation being activated.
"Don't make me call your mother Elizabeth," Amy warned her and Beth snatched her arm away from the Anointed red head while AJ Styles and Kenny Omega took Finn back over to their side of the room.
"Good work Amy, we better keep an eye on her until Becky comes back," Trish said and the God Girls exchanged glances; after what they had seen between Finn Balor and Beth Hardy, they weren't sure if they wanted to see Becky right now at all.
