ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Bloodline Wars
Bayley rallies the God Girls when Seth tries to pull Sasha out of deep waters with the McMahon family and Bray Wyatt on his own and Roman Reigns files for custody of Abiyah Rollins.
Chapter Nineteen – The Rocky Mountains
San Juan Mountains, Colorado
Shawn Michaels and Triple H looked around as Abiyah rode on Ra-Ra's back while holding his beloved Blue Bear.
"I'm not sure where we are Shawn but I'd say we're pretty far from the Sandbox right now," Hunter said.
DX were in western Colorado, Beth Hardy had Transcended them to the San Juan Mountains, a place where nobody would expect them to be or even think of looking for them.
As they followed the river up from where they were, they ended up in crossing the Black Canyon. Until then, they were surrounded by the green landscape of the beautiful mountain range. Now, things had suddenly gotten a lot darker.
"Okay Shawn, maybe we shouldn't be following Ra-Ra," Hunter said looking at his cell-phone but the battery was long dead.
Abiyah patted Ra-Ra on the head and he stopped walking and took a defensive posture, seconds later DX realised why. A bear had found them and he was not happy to see them at all. Ra-Ra roared and the bear did the same taking issue that an Arabian Oryx was in his territory.
"What's his problem, Ra-Ra ain't trying a eat any of his salmon?!" Hunter said and Shawn's Righteous Indignation activated.
"Now-now bear, don't make me take you out of your natural habitat," Shawn said. "I really don't feel like killing any bears today,"
The bear was not as compassionate towards them and he roared and took a swipe at them. Abiyah threw his blue bear into the air and the bear hit it knocking it to the ground.
"Oh you done did it now!" Hunter said as the blue bear morphed into a real blue bear and was twice the size of the bear that just swiped him. The bear didn't know what to make of the giant relative looking at it so he continued to roar refusing to back down. The sight of Abiyah's monster bear got the attention of other bears in the area and they uncharacteristically came to the bear's aid, surrounding DX and Abiyah.
"Oh boy, this is going to be a massacre!" Shawn said. "They're defending their turf!"
"ROAR!" Abiyah's bear let out the loudest roar forcing the other bears to run away but it also caused the mountains to shift.
"Do you hear that?" Shawn said to Hunter as the Earth under their feet started to move.
"I think Abiyah's blue bear caused an earthquake, we gotta get out of here!" Hunter said as the blue bear returned to its normal size. Ra-Ra growled as the ground started to shake and they couldn't stand on it without losing balance.
"Ra-Ra, up up!" Abiyah said gesturing to a huge tree beside them and Ra-Ra took him up to the top of the tree and then came back for DX. The patriachs of the DX family surveyed the land and saw all the ground moving including some of the mountains. They looked at Abiyah with amazement.
"You're one dangerous kid," Shawn said and they waited for the quake to stop hoping that somebody would find them and take them home before they ended up in the bottom of the Black Canyon.
Help was on the way as Becky Lynch, Seth and Sasha Rollins blazed across Colorado heading for the national forest. A swarm of birds came flying at them suddenly like they had been spooked and indeed they had.
"Something must have happened in the Rockies," Seth said and they moved even faster seeing the movement of trees and mountains as they came closer to where God said DX and Abiyah were.
Becky looked down at all the trees, "This forest is huge!" she said trying to see any human beings and a giant cat down below.
Seth and Sasha's eyes zeroed in on two men making the DX sign. "There!" Sasha cried out and Seth saw DX with Abiyah and Ra-Ra.
"They're in that tree!" Seth cried out and Becky saw them moving around trying to hold on. The tree was coming out of its roots due to the quake. Becky, Seth and Sasha soared down and Becky grabbed Abiyah and Ra-Ra while Seth grabbed DX, second before the tree disappeared into the canyon below.
Becky flew towards Seth's flying prayer shawl so Abiyah and Ra-Ra could get on.
"Man that is one heavy cat," she said in reference to Ra-Ra and Seth and Sasha embraced Abiyah.
"Hey where's your bear?" Hunter asked Abiyah and the little boy looked around and realised that his blue bear was missing.
"My bear!" he cried and Becky looked down and saw something giant and blue moving around through the collapsing forest.
"Don't worry I'll get him for you," Becky said and Abiyah jumped on her back before Sasha could stop him and they flew down to the forest while DX watched in amazement.
"That is one powerful kid," Shawn said to the Rollins, "Shame you're going to have to give him up,"
Sasha smirked, "I don't care what I've done or what people think of me, I am a good mother and my son is going to stay with me. If Roman wants Abiyah he's in for the fight of his life!" she vowed and she shot her husband a warning glance. "And so are you if you try to stop me," she said to Seth and she was being sincere. It was then that Seth realised that Randy Orton had been right all along. Seth's marriage had been a mistake, Sasha was the wrong woman for him. She cared about things that he didn't care about, like being rich and famous, instead of being full of love and kindness. Now that she was a McMahon, he was going to have to work even harder to hold onto her. It was impossible for Seth to accept that maybe, he had already lost her and that she was willing to destroy him to get what she wanted for herself. As the Truth started to set in, Shawn could see the angst in Seth's face and he clasped his hands in his own.
"This is what you wanted Seth," he whispered to him, "the longer you deny who she really is, the harder its going to be for you to finish this assignment,"
"I know who she is Shawn," Seth whispered back holding back the tears that were threatening to fall from his eyes. "I don't care what anyone else thinks, I love her and I always will. She is the love of my life and I will be by her side until my last breath. Til death do us part Shawn, just like you and Amy and Hunter and Chyna. You sit there and judge me all you want, there's no other woman for me, understand?"
Shawn looked into Seth's eyes as Becky, Abiyah and a normal sized blue bear rose back up to the prayer shawl. Becky collapsed onto the prayer shawl as Sasha hugged Abiyah who abruptly wiggled himself free and jumped onto Becky.
"Abiyah come here right now!" Sasha barked at her son but Abiyah refused to let go of Becky. Sasha scolded at Becky Lynch who was grinning at Sasha's rising fury at her son's sudden dislike of her.
"The boy's made his choice, what can I say? Life's so much better when the Man comes around, right Abi?" Becky teased Sasha as Abiyah gave her a hi-five. Seth decided to break the tension by taking Abiyah off of Becky's lap and rocking him to sleep.
"Thanks for the search and rescue Becky but I think you better go now," Seth said diplomatically as Sasha's hatred of Becky Lynch seemed to intensify. DX decided to leave with her.
"You're okay with carrying two large men on your back, right Becks?" Hunter asked the Man.
"That's no problem Hunter," Becky said still looking at Seth feeling every bit as disappointed in him as he was disappointed in Sasha for proving that Randy Orton was right about her. "I'm used to carrying 'tings on my back, hop on,"
Seth watched in amazement as Becky flew back to Connecticut with DX on her back.
"That's my Girl," he said under his breath and Abiyah broke into tears.
"I want my Daddy!" he cried referring to Roman Reigns and Seth's heart broke, not just at the sound of Abiyah's pain but at the silence of his own. He turned to Sasha and rubbed her shoulder in a sign of devotion.
"This is all gonna work out okay? We're gonna make it, this is our family. I'm never gonna leave you," he promised her and he meant it.
"I know that Seth, you'd be a fool to leave me. After all, I'm the Boss and you're the Architect and together, we make a great team. Abi will come around, until then, let's fly around and remind him what sets us apart from the Roman's and the God Girls of this world," Sasha said and they kissed each other lovingly.
Eventually, Abiyah stopped crying as Seth took them all over the world on his flying prayer shawl, hoping that their time spent exploring the continents of the world would make Roman Reigns, DX and the God Girls a distant memory. While that was certainly what Sasha wanted, that wasn't what Seth or Abiyah wanted, still it wasn't long before Sasha's intoxicating allure reminded them why they were so in love with the woman who was so in love with herself. By the time they returned to the States, the Boss of the Rollins family was back in the good graces of both her husband and son. She was once again the apple of both their eyes proving how breath-taking Sasha truly was. So when she decided that she wanted to move back into the Sandbox on their return, Seth found himself unable to talk her out of it, even though he knew there was no way that was going to happen. But the more she talked, the more he found himself agreeing with her. Instead of him getting her to change, Sasha was changing him and if Seth didn't get a grip, he was going fail his assignment and the God Girls would lose him for real.
