Day 5
Viserys looked down at his sister as she slowly blinked her eyes in confusion, pulling herself free from the tangle that were her bedsheets. "Dany…" he moaned, floating towards her. Even though his feet did not touch the ground, and in fact he didn't move a single limb, it was still utter torture for him to approach her, so heavy was the burden he carried.
Daenerys finally managed to focus her eyes after being awaken from her fitful sleep, staring at her brother in confusion. "Viserys? Was… was it all a dream?"
"No," he told her, wishing that he could say that it was. "I am dead… and in torment." He gestured at the chains that bond him, wrapped around his body. "I forged these links with my foolishness and my greed. Every time I believed that I, and I alone, was correct even as all sense told me I was not I made a link. Every time I acted against my fellow man, sending cruelty at them rather than kindness because I felt it was my right to do so, I forged a link." He paused. "Does that not sound familiar to you? Does it not make you think?"
"It does," Dany said.
"Then on this night-"
"I will break your chains, brother, and free you as well as every other ghost!"
"-you will be visited by wait what was that now?" Viserys watched as Dany ran to the door, sticking her head out of it and calling for her council to awaken. "Dany, I don't think you understand-"
"I understand that in the afterlife there are people in chains and I am the Breaker of Chains!" At that moment Tyrion Lannister, Ser Barristan, and everyone else not quite important enough to name hurried into the room. "I said we were heading to Westeros in three days but I've changed my mind!"
"What a shocker," Tyrion muttered
"We are attacking the afterlife and freeing ghost slaves!"
"Joffrey and Cersei offered me a retirement but noooooo!" Ser Barristan complained. "I had to service Daenerys… idiot."
