Hey everyone, welcome to day 20 of the Hart of Dixie countdown to Christmas!

Enjoy!

A huge part of him hadn't wanted to leave Zoe's bed. He rather enjoyed snuggling with her. He didn't want to get Zoe in trouble if Candice found him in her daughter's bed. The smart thing for him to do is to head to his room. He could only hope that Jesse was either still out doing who knows what to who knows whom, or that he was knocked out cold. Either option would have been just fine with him.

What he wasn't anticipating is the second he made his dash across the living area of the Hart's hotel room, Candice would be stirring in her room. Nor did he expect his parents to knock on his door the second he shut it behind himself. Being invited up to Zoe and Candice's room not only for breakfast but where their Christmas dinner would be taking place as well. He had wondered how they were going to have dinner when neither room they'd been staying in has a kitchen. He did think they were going to have takeout of some kind or head to one of the few restaurants or bars that would be open.

"Just what you wanted, huh?" Jesse asked as they made their way up to the floor that houses Zoe's hotel room.

"What are you talking about?" Wade asked, leading the way.

"To spend the whole day with your new-found love, Zoe," Jesse teased, a smirk firmly on his face, as they stopped in front of a door.

"I don't love, Zoe," he quipped. He's only 16, he doesn't know what love feels like. He likes Zoe a lot, and he knows that it's going to hurt when they both go home. But he's not dwelling on it. Nor is he going to pine after a girl he can't have. Things with Zoe are nothing more than a holiday fling. He does know how to keep his heart out of it. Once home in Bluebell, all will be normal once again. "How is putting the Ho Ho Ho into the Christmas spirit, coming along for you?" Wade smirked, rapping his knuckles on the door.

"It's quite taxing but very Jolly," Jesse laughed, entering the room when his mom answered the door.

Wade rolled his eyes, shutting the door behind himself. He caught sight of Zoe from the corner of his eye stepping out of the bathroom. He gave her a soft smile, making his way to the breakfast buffet. His eyes roamed over the feast of breakfast food. He had been ready to spend his morning alone, catching up on sleep, since Zoe would be busy with her mom until it was time for them to join his family for Christmas dinner. He's quite pleased with the turn of events.

After breakfast and their friendly bickering about the amount of food one should eat before dinner time, they retreated to Zoe's room, where more teasing took place while they watched A Christmas Story. He found it mortifying that she hadn't watched the best Christmas movie hands down. He had to rectify that. He followed Zoe into her room, leaving the door slightly ajar. Enough to give them privacy, and open far enough to appease Candice's wishes for the door to remain open.

"Wade," hissed Zoe, wiggling under his touch.

"What?" He laughed, holding his hands up. "I'm not even doing anything," he stated innocently.

"How am I supposed to know how Ralphie shoots his eye out if you can't keep your hands to yourself?" She questioned with a hum, turning to look at him. All while she tosses the blanket over her lap.

"I'm not fully at fault here, Zo," he protested. "I'm a teenage boy, who happens to like the girl next to him, who is showing off a lot of bare, smooth, tan leg," he practically drooled, tracing his fingertips over her knee up over her thigh, his fingers going under the skirt she is wearing.

"Wade," she laughed, grabbing his hand. "You can try to control those hormones of yours," she challenged him. "We can't," she told him.

"Can't or won't?" He asked, leaning in, softly pressing his lips against the soft expanse of her neck. "I could try to control them, but I'd rather not. Don't you agree?" He questions. If Zoe told him no, he'd stop and respect her boundaries, but she hasn't exactly told him no. She wants more, he can see it written on her face.

"Our parents," she warned, moving her head to the side, her eyes cast on the door for any movement of their parents.

"Are busy with breakfast and getting dinner ready to worry about what we are doing," he told her, sucking on the junction of her shoulder and neck.

"What about the…the…Wade," she lightly moaned out at the sensation of his teeth lightly digging into her sensitive flesh. "Movie," she gasped out, his tongue licking at her salty flesh.

"It's on all day," he replied, placing small kisses along her jawline. "I wanna taste you, Zoe before we leave and never see each other again," he whispered against her lips. "Can I?" He questioned, pulling back to look at the dark brown orbs, that hold the same lustful emotions that are raging through him. "Say no, and I'll respect you Zoe, say no and we can go back to watching the movie," he told her.

"Yes," she whispered, giving him a small nod had Wade diving in, his lips pressed against her soft ones. Zoe eagerly opened her mouth to him, before he had the chance to run his tongue along her luscious pink lips. Their tongues did a dance to a tune all their own. Tugging on Zoe's bottom lip with his teeth, he breaks the kiss.

"Why don't you two go find something to do," Earl says, pushing the bedroom door open, a knowing look on his face. "I hear there is a great arcade, a swimming pool, and snowy slopes that need to be conquered, snowshoes for walks on the snowy paths," he suggested. "The ideas and things to do are limitless," he commented, leaving them alone.

"Do you think he knows?" Zoe whispered slightly embarrassed of getting caught by the father of the guy you like.

"He knows," Wade nodded, chuckling under his breath. "It is a great idea, I know a room that isn't being used at the moment," he commented, winking.

"And Jesse?" Zoe asked, getting off the bed, to put a pair of thick black tights on, along with slipping a pair of boots on.

"I'm sure he's busy with hookup 1, 2, 3, or anyone else," Wade shrugged. Jesse has yet to make use of their room, something he is more than relieved about. "We don't have to, I will gladly take beating you at any game in the arcade," he teased, lighting the mood. "We can do anything, Zoe. Heck, we can go play in the snow if that's what you want to do," he told her.

"My vote is making snow angels, and once we get cold and wet, we find a way to warm up," she offered coyly, biting her lip.

"I like the way you think," Wade smirked, helping Zoe with her jacket. "We'll be back before dinner," Wade told the adults, heading out, letting Zoe go before him.

Not only did they make snow angels but they built a snowman, joined a snowball fight, and Wade watched Zoe twirl in the falling snow. Numb and with red noses they headed inside. They grabbed a cup of hot chocolate on their way through the lobby.

"We don't have to do anything," he informed Zoe again, once they were alone in his hotel room. He had watched Jesse sneaking off somewhere with someone that looked like they were a guest. He didn't care as long as it meant he wasn't going to be ruining things for him. "I do want you to know that it has never been about getting anything other than a friendship with you, Zoe," he told her sincerely.

"I know," she smiled softly, tossing her jacket to the side. "I haven't done this before," she confessed.

"I haven't either," he told her honestly. He's done plenty of things with the girls his age back home, but having sex wasn't something he has done. "Are you sure?" He asked, stepping closer to her, his hands landing on her hips.

"Positive," she whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck, and leaning in to kiss him.
