ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Bloodline Wars
Bayley rallies the God Girls when Seth tries to pull Sasha out of deep waters with the McMahon family and Bray Wyatt on his own and Roman Reigns files for custody of Abiyah Rollins.
Chapter Twenty Five – Beth, Be Not Proud
The Reigns Household, Pensacola, Florida
Roman walked into his wife's waiting arms while Stephanie and Jeff Hardy relaxed on the back porch. Galina Reigns accompanied her husband to the back garden where Steph and Jeff were embracing. The goings on at WWE HQ was the furthest thing from theirs minds but it was the main thing on Roman's.
"So how did it go?" Galina asked Roman as he sat adjacent to Steph and Jeff who were soaking up the sunshine and enjoying Jeff's specially made jasmine ice tea.
"Not good," Roman replied and he tapped Stephanie on the shoulder causing her chilled out green eyes to pop open. "We need to talk about your daughter," he said to her seriously.
"Which one?" Stephanie replied.
"The one running the WWE," Roman replied and Steph leaned forward and gave a big stretch.
"Oh that one, so how did it go at HQ?" Steph asked Roman as Galina handed him a glass of Jeff's ice tea.
"Not well, she's cut the Bloodline out of six weeks of TV," Roman replied and Stephanie gasped.
"What?!" she said in shock, "that doesn't make any sense, why would she do that?"
"I think its because she's being influenced by your brother and she decided to write me and the Bloodline off of TV because I'm filing for full custody of Abiyah," Roman said and Stephanie furrowed her brow.
"You think Beth is mixing business with personal stuff?" Stephanie asked.
"She also threatened to write other Superstars off TV if they mouthed off to her about it," Roman said, "her decision has divided the locker room, they don't understand it at all and their frustrated by it,"
Roman reclined into his deck chair with Galina while Steph stood to her feet and paced back and forth thoughtfully. "That's something my father would do, put Superstars against each other for TV time,"
"That's exactly what she did; she said that with me and the Bloodline off TV, it will open up opportunities for other Superstars. The roster didn't buy it though, they are really thrown by this decision," Roman said and she shook his head as Galina rubbed his leg, "I don't know what I'm gonna do, I can't sit at home Steph,"
"Of course you can't Roman, you're the hottest thing going and SummerSlam is one of our biggest shows of the year," Stephanie exhaled with frustration and pulled at her hair, "I thought if I gave her the space she wanted she would step out and show how creative she really can be. My brother must have gotten to her somehow. I need to talk to that jerk and I had such high hopes for her, I want her to succeed so bad,"
"If Shane has gotten to her, maybe we can take him out of the equation," Jeff Hardy said and Stephanie, Roman and Galina looked at Jeff curiously.
"What do you mean?" Steph asked Jeff.
"I can make a few calls and maybe Shane disappears for a while," Jeff said and Steph folded her arms puzzled.
"Make a few calls, to who?" she asked.
"Let's just say I have a friend who knows some people that can bury Shane both literally and figuratively. Just give me the okay and I'll do it," Jeff said and Roman chuckled.
"Are you talking about the Mafia?" Roman said wondering what Jeff was getting it and Jeff shrugged.
"The less you know the better," he replied and Roman and Galina laughed at Jeff's suggestion.
"I don't like the sound of this Jeff and if you wanna call who I think you wanna call, that could cause problems with our roster down the road," Stephanie said.
"Not if they stay on your good side," Jeff said. "If you know who I'm talking about, you know he cares about our family a lot as-well as the roster and he would have no problem doing this,"
"I know, that's why I don't want you to do it," Stephanie said and Jeff threw his hands up casually.
"Alright, let's just watch as your brother causes our daughter to fail so he can take over and run the WWE the way he wants to," Jeff said and Stephanie didn't like the sound of that.
"Do you think that could happen?" Roman asked Steph and she nodded.
It was already happening and she knew she had to do something to stop it.
After awhile she turned to Jeff and gave him her decision, "Call him but for the love of God tell him to be careful," she replied and Jeff went to make the call while Roman and Galina wondered what the Hardys were planning to do to keep Beth in post and Shane McMahon out of the company.
The Ortons
Abiyah Rollins woke from his sleep and saw Rebecca Rogan looking over him. He pushed her back and rolled off of the bed with his blue bear in his hand. Rebecca followed him out of the room and took his hand. Abiyah looked at the toddler like she was crazy but he kept walking as she stayed by his side. As they headed to the staircase he noticed a bear at the entrance to Rebecca's nursery. It was red and he assumed it was hers.
"Is that your bear?" Abiyah said and he let go of her hand and went to pick up the bear. He looked it over and was impressed by it. "This is nice," she said and he handed it to her. "I have a bear too but my bear is blue. You should hold onto this,"
Rebecca didn't quite understand what Abiyah meant but she loved his hair. It was black just like her father's but thick and curly just like her doll's. Rebecca's hair was scarlet red so they were quite the contrast. She took her bear from him and held onto it as they carefully made it down the stairs hand-in-hand.
The amazing visual was lost on the adults in the Ortons' living room who were discussing the incident between Seth and Sasha Rollins.
"Good job you guys on freeing Bray Wyatt from the evil spirit controlling him," Becky Lynch said to Aurora Rose, Rebecca Michelle and RJ Orton but they weren't interested in compliments; they were interested in the wellbeing of Seth Rollins. Sasha had pushed him down the stairs and if it wasn't for Ra-Ra saving him, he would have had a nasty fall.
"You guys need to get back together," Aurora Rose said to Seth and the God Girls.
"Absolutely not!" Sasha snapped.
"You don't get a say in this!" Rebecca Michelle argued, "If it were the other way around, Seth would be in jail right now,"
Sasha laughed, "I just wanted him to know that I was serious; I will not allow anyone to come between me and my father," she said giving the God Girls a warning glance, "plus Seth would never hurt me, what kind of man do you think he is?"
"He's a man that deserves better," Charlotte Flair said furiously and she looked Seth square in the eyes, "you're coming with us, you guys need to spend some time apart,"
"I'm not going anywhere," Seth replied firmly holding Sasha's hand and she smiled at the God Girls' smugly.
"Seth, stop making excuses for her. She pushed you off the staircase!" Alexa said.
"An evil spirit had just been cast out, there was a lot going on Alexa. I don't hold it against her now please just drop it," Seth said.
The DX kids stepped forward with serious looks on their faces, "The God Girls can drop it but we won't," Aurora said. "We're gonna tell Roman what happened and he's gonna have all of our witnesses, that'll be enough evidence to take Abiyah away from you,"
Secretly, Seth and the God Girls were counting on that but Sasha wasn't about to let that happen.
"Are you sure you wanna do that Aurora? Messing with me would be a big mistake," Sasha warned Hunter and Steph's daughter.
"You're mistake was trying to kill your husband, Seth isn't just some guy you married, he's a member of a God-appointed group that was commissioned to watch over the DX family by ATM. You mess with a man of God, you mess with all of us. You are unsafe and a threat and unless you decide to turn back into a normal human being, your days of being Abiyah's mother are over!"
Abiyah came over to Sasha and Seth with Rebecca Rogan and Sasha picked him up while Randy Orton picked up his grand-daughter.
"Well DX kids and God Girls, be prepared for the fight of your lives," Sasha said confidently while the DX kids and the God Girls nodded in agreement.
"We've been prepared for this fight from the very beginning," Becky Lynch said and Seth gave them an under the radar smile, knowing that the violent and immoral world that Sasha had built around her was about to come crumbling down, not just in front of them but in front of the whole world. Then Sasha would see Shane McMahon for who he really was and give Seth and the God Girls the respect they truly deserved.
