Day 13
The Ghost of Chirstmas Present let out a laugh as he watched the people going about the street, wishing each other well and calling out season's greetings. The joy and merriment of the day was making him feel all the more happy and giddy and he turned to his companion, wondering if she was feeling the same.
Sansa just stood there, cold and still.
"Tell me," he said, deciding to prod the red-haired girl, "what do you think of when you see these people having so much fun?"
"That they are fools who do not understand that life is not merely a song."
"Come now," the Ghost of Christmas Present said, "is there no room for merriment and cheer?"
"Not when Winter is Coming," the Queen of the North declared.
"Don't be like that," a… well… younger version of Sansa said, skipping up to them. "Life is like all the fairy tales! Brave knights and beautiful maidens."
"The knights are rapists and the maidens are fools," Sansa told her younger self.
"Wait, how did you get here?" the Ghost of Chirstmas Present asked, confused.
"Oh, I snuck along when this grumpy woman came to see me!" Young Sansa said, smiling at her older self.
"I am grumpy because the world is full of darkness."
"It is full of love."
"It should be full of booze!" an even older Sansa declared, swaying slightly, her crown nearly falling off her head. "Be Queen of the North Bran said! You'll do great, he said! Bah! Winter came and it sucked donkey nipples!"
Young Sansa gasped while Present Sansa shrugged.
"Oh boy," the Ghost of Christmas Present whimpered.
