A/N: I do not own Kim Possible. It belongs to Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, I only own any original characters that appear in the story, nothing else is mine.
Prologue
The sound of footsteps awakens Kim Possible as she is sleeping. The footsteps are loud and sound like they are boots, Kim is scared, and she does not know what to do…Her heart is racing and her anxiety is going off again. All Kim wants is to have at least one normal day.
As the footsteps stopped she realized that it was time for school. Her mom had already taken the boys to school, so now it was her turn. She got out her favorite Club Banana pants, and put them on.
She went out the door and managed to step a few feet outside, before Bonnie came. She was wearing a luxury gucci purse and a nice gucci outfit. Kim did not want to face her, and she did not want to get involved in any drama today.
Today was going to be a drama free zone. As she went into school, she saw Monique getting her stuff into her locker. She went over to her, and managed to say hello.
"Hi Monique! What's up!?" Kim asked, she noticed the fashionista looked a little bit sad. So, she didn't bother her.
Then Monique started crying…The tears were too much for Kim to handle so she just wrapped her arms around her best friend, they both stood together and cried.
"What happened?" Kim asked again.
"It's my little brother. He is dying."
"Really?"
"Yes…"
The tears that Monique had were running down her face like mascara. They were trickling down her face, and they finally managed to get on her top. She wiped herself with a tissue, and managed to explain to Kim what happened.
Kim had no idea about Monique's family, so she offered to help. It was an offer she has never done before. She didn't know if she could do it. But she wanted to help her best friend who was clearly hurting.
Suddenly, the bell rang. Which meant it was time for Mr. Barkin's class. Both Kim and Monique made their way into the classroom of doom. It really was.
Everyone sat down and managed to not talk, Mr. Barkin came in and explained what was going to happen.
"Alright students, today we are going to learn about algebra! Are you ready!? Smith! What's with all the tears?"
Monique stopped crying, "I have family issues at home. My little brother is sick and dying, he is in the hospital."
Mr. Barkin stopped talking, he walked over to Monique…and hugged her.
