Chapter 2 – Thieves, Mercenaries, Bounty Hunters and Assassins Part 2
Minutes before Bebop and Rocksteady's robbery was thwarted by Kamen Rider Lupin…
Somewhere in the city of Concordia, we go to a large building with a head of a canine on top and a pair of legs with sirens on either side of the building. This is Space Patrol Delta Headquarters or simply known as Delta Base or SPD HQ, the main command post for one of Eartheon's police organization branches. It also houses the SPD Academy where they train new recruits and as well as police organization transferees and is the homebase of the A-Squad Power Rangers.
Inside, we go to the lounging area where we see a young woman about 23 years old sitting on one of the sofas reading a book.
The young woman had long dirty blonde hair held in a low ponytail, fair skin, slim build, medium bust and blue eyes. She's clad in the female SPD uniform composed of a gray, black and red zipped up jacket tucked into a pair of gray trousers under a gray skirt with a belt, a pair of black shoes, a silver SPD badge on the upper right pectoral area of her jacket, an SPD initial pin on the opposite area and an SPD laser blaster holstered on her right hip. This is Paige Thornton, SPD police lieutenant officer and squad leader of the A-Squad SPD power rangers which makes her the Red Ranger.
Paige was reading the light novel of Restaurant to Another World when someone entered.
It was a young female half-elf about 17 years old in appearance by human standards with shoulder length platinum blonde hair, fair skin, pointed ears, slim build, medium bust and green eyes. She's clad in the female SPD uniform composed of a gray, black and pink zipped up jacket tucked into a pair of gray trousers under a gray skirt with a belt, a pair of black shoes, a silver SPD badge on the upper right pectoral area of her jacket, an SPD initial pin on the opposite area and an SPD laser blaster holstered on her right hip. This is Hanath "Hana" Erlana, SPD police sergeant officer and Pink Ranger of the A-Squad SPD power rangers.
"Hey Paige! What's up!" greeted Hana approaching her leader in which said leader took her eyes off of her book and looked towards the half-elf.
"Oh! Hey Hana" Paige greeted back "Nothing much, I'm just reading my book" she said showing said book.
"Ooh~! Restaurant to Another World!" said Hana with stars in her eyes taking a seat next to Paige "I really love that story, especially the anime and I also like the characters there, especially Victoria, I like her even more!" she chirped.
Paige gave Hana a sly smirk "You just like her because she's a half-elf like you" she said making Hana blush.
"W-w-well that's one of the reasons, she's also a smart sorceress and she's also a very nice aunt" said Hana trying to make an excuse.
"And not to mention she's into Pudding a la Mode just like you" Paige remarked slyly.
"That's not the only desert I like! There's also parfait, macarons, cake…" she listed off only to stop "W-w-wait!? Why am I even saying what you already know!?" she squawked.
"I don't know, you tell me" shrugged Paige casually.
"Y-y-you know what, forget it!" Hana said in embarrassment.
"Sure, whatever" said Paige with a shrug, making the half-elf ranger puff her cheeks and look away with a "Hmph!" making the A-Squad leader chuckle in amusement, she tends to enjoy teasing her friend sometimes.
Then the sound of someone entering the room was heard again. Paige and Hana turned to who entered and saw that it was a young teenage male about 17 years old.
The young teenager has almost messy short brown hair, slim but strong build, fair skin and teal eyes. He's clad in the male SPD uniform composed of a gray, black and blue zipped up jacket, a pair of gray trousers with a belt, a pair of black shoes, a silver SPD badge on the upper right pectoral area of his jacket, an SPD initial pin on the opposite area and an SPD laser blaster holstered on his right hip. This is Joel "Joey" Hollard, SPD police corporal officer, Blue Ranger of the A-Squad power rangers making him 2nd in command and the youngest member of the team and the youngest SPD police officer to ever graduate from SPD Academy.
Joey currently had his jacket unzipped revealing his blue t-shirt with black SPD initials and he was playing Super Smash Bros on his Nintendo Switch as he sat down on the couch across from Paige and Hana.
"Hey Joey!" greeted Hana.
"Hey Hana" Joey greeted back taking a short glance away from his game before returning to it.
"How's your sister doing?" the half-elf asked.
"Oh, you mean Kylie?" said Joey at the mention of his twin sister, pausing his game and putting his Switch down on the table in front of him "She's doing fine, great in fact, she's made a lot of friends since joining that culinary school in Rising Japan" he said.
"Oh yeah… Totsuki Culinary Academy, that's that culinary school where some of the best chefs in Eartheon graduated from right?" said Hana receiving a nod from the blue ranger.
"I'm surprised that your sister was even able to get accepted there, considering that it's where rich kids and restaurant heirs and heiresses mostly attend" pointed out Paige without taking her eyes off of her book.
"I'm surprised as well" said Joey fixing up his Switch, making it stand while removing the controllers from the sides before continuing his game "She makes very tasty meals but most of all very creative and tasty desserts" he said "She did say she wanted to be a pro dessert chef one day and somehow she was lucky enough to get accepted" he said.
"Talkin about something ya guys?" said another voice entering the room.
The trio turned to see another individual enter the room and it was a young goblin male in his late 20s. He was as tall as any ordinary human with green skin, bald head, long pointed goblin ears, slim and strong build and yellow eyes. He's clad in the male SPD uniform composed of a gray, black and yellow zipped up jacket, a pair of gray trousers with a belt, a pair of black shoes, a silver SPD badge on the upper right pectoral area of his jacket, an SPD initial pin on the opposite area and an SPD laser blaster holstered on his right hip. This is Trux Grayscar, SPD police corporal officer and Yellow Ranger of the A-Squad power rangers. He currently had his jacket zipped open revealing his yellow SPD t-shirt when he entered.
"Oh, hey Trux! We were just talking about Joey's sister attending Totsuki Academy" said Hana with a smile.
Trux whistled at that "Totsuki you say? As in that bigshot cooking school in Rising Japan where the best of the best chefs graduated from?" he asked receiving a nod from the three.
"The very same" confirmed Paige.
The goblin nodded taking a seat next to Joey "I'm surprised that your sis made it passed two years so far considering the rate of graduates that top cooking school has" commented Trux resting his arms on the back of his head.
"Probably because whatever she makes brings a smile to everyone in that school, especially the teachers!" chirped Hana.
"Plus, lots and lots of practice" added Joey "Although I kinda got worried when the school got taken over during her second year but now that there's a new director at the school, I don't have to worry anymore" he said with a relieved sigh before he continued to play with his Switch.
"Oh yeah, I heard about that incident" said Hana.
"I'm just glad that nothing bad came to Kylie after it was taken over for a short while" said Joey with a sigh "Otherwise, something bad would've happened" he said.
"Heh... I bet you would've barged into the school, head straight to the director's office and arrested the previous director on the spot for almost turning your sister into a non-creative chef" snarked Paige with a smirk.
"Hah…?" said Joey with a deadpan expression making his friends laugh at his reaction.
"Hahaha! Oh yeah, I bet you would've been all like "You are under arrest for corrupting the culinary world! And for taking away my sister's creativity and passion for cooking!" Haaaahahahaaaa! It would've been priceless!" said Trux making the others laugh like crazy.
"Hoi! I wouldn't go that low!" defended Joey who still had a deadpan expression on his face.
"Sure~ you wouldn't" said his teammates sarcastically with a tone of mischief.
"Ugh… walang hiya kayong lahat…" he uttered with a deadpan tone in Tagalog, only making his friends laugh even harder making him sigh and shake his head in exasperation but smiled none the less, he was already used to something like this, they usually tend to troll him whenever it comes to being overprotective of his younger twin sister sometimes.
"I see that you kids are enjoying yourselves" said a gruff male voice.
The four stopped what they were doing and turned to whoever entered the room.
It was a middle aged humanoid male wolf with gray and white fur, a wolf head, humanoid hands with five fingers, a wolf tail, wolf feet, a strong build and gray eyes. He's clad in the SPD uniform composed of a gray, black and green zipped up jacket, a pair of gray trousers with a belt and his tail sticking out of the bottom, his feet left bare, a silver SPD badge on the upper right pectoral area of his jacket, an SPD initial pin on the opposite area and an SPD laser blaster holstered on his right hip. This is Jared Malcom, a wolf beastkin, SPD veteran police sergeant officer and longtime Green Ranger of the A-Squad power rangers.
"Oh, hey there ya old timer!" Trux greeted with a smile making Jared frown at that.
"Hey! I'm not that old yet!" he said making everyone chuckle as the wolf man approached his team "Although it sure has been quiet lately don't you kids think?" he said.
"Yes… it sure has" said Paige returning to her book.
"I'll say, so far, it's been about a couple of weeks since our last crime incident and so far, it's just patrols since then" commented Trux.
"Yeah… it's times like this that makes me want to sit back… relax… and enjoy myself…" said Hana with a sigh as she stretched her arms and laid back.
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean we should let our guard down" said Joey while continuing to play his game "Even though it's been quiet for the past couple of weeks, we need to stay alert" he said.
"Says the strict regulations guy who's playing videogames right now" snarked Paige with a grin making Hana and Trux snicker.
Joey stopped playing and frowned at his squad leader "Hey~, I may be a bit strict when it comes to regulations sometimes but I know when to loosen up and take a break from time to time" he said which earned an eyeroll from Paige.
"Strictness aside, Joey has a point" said Jared getting everyone's attention "The past couple of weeks may have been a bit calm but that doesn't mean we can just slack off, we still need to keep ourselves sharp and ready, we won't know if an emergency ever occurs at any moment, so we need to keep ourselves vigilant" he told his team who all nodded at that advice in which they took to heart.
Paige sighed "Man… and I always wonder why Commander Cruger appointed me as red ranger instead of you?" she said.
The wolf beastkin chuckled "Well, that's because he sees potential in you as a leader kid, plus leading A-Squad isn't much of my style" he said with a shrug.
"Okay, okay, you win you old wolf" said Paige jokingly which caused everyone in A-Squad including Jared to chuckle.
Suddenly, the SPD alarm system went up followed by a female voice, getting everyone's attention.
"Attention A-Squad! Report to the Command Center immediately! Repeat! Report to the Command Center immediately!" said the voice, A-Squad looked amongst one another and nodded before immediately bolting towards the command center.
At the SPD Command Center, two individuals were at the center console with one of them pinpointing the location of the emergency.
The one pinpointing the location was a female alien with cat features, specifically her ears, some tiger teeth, freckles and eyes with the rest of her features resembling human. She looked like a young woman with brown hair but she was far from that age. She was currently wearing a long sleeve white shirt under a zipped up pale green jacket with an SPD initial pin on the upper breast area, dark green trousers with a belt, a pair of black heeled shoes and a lab coat. This is Dr. Kat Manx, SPD's head of the tech department.
The other was a male alien bearing the characteristics of both a human and a jackal with the jackal part being his head with black hair locks on the back of said head and jackal feet. He's clad in an SPD commander's uniform with his feet bare. This is Anubis "Doggie" Cruger, commander of SPD Eartheon division.
"Kat, report" said Cruger as Kat located the emergency.
"The museum sir, looks like a robbery's in progress" reported Kat as she and Doggie looked up to see A-Squad enter the command center.
"Sir! A-Squad reporting in sir!" said Paige professionally.
"A-Squad, someone has broken into Concordia city museum and it seems they've stolen the Red Taurus Diamond" Cruger informed them, alarming the team due to how valuable the red Taurus is "You've got to stop them!" their commander ordered as Paige and the others nodded.
(Insert Power Rangers SPD – Morphing Theme)
Paige and her teammates then pulled out identical devices from pouches located on their right hips. Said devices were rectangular shaped with a white body, black frame, two red sirens on the top corners, a gray button on the center top, a white slide switch on the right side and a white cover with black SPD initials on the left side and the words "change", "phone" and "judge" in black with red dots on the right side. These were the team's SPD Morphers, also known as Alpha Morphers.
"Ready!?" called out Paige holding out her morpher to her left.
"Ready!" responded her team doing the same.
"SPD Emergency!" they cried out as they stretched out their morphers across their left with their left arm under their stretched out arms holding their morphers before pointing their morphers forward activating them.
-Morphing sequence-
The five of them were now in separate conveyor belts in an unknown tunnel as they pressed their morphers and upon opening the covers, the morphers created holograms of their ranger forms.
The five of them got into ready stances before springboards under them activated, making them jump forward through their holograms as their bodies glowed white before flipping forward to a stop in a crouching position as their ranger suits materialized.
They lifted their heads up facing forward before their helmets attached to their heads followed by their visors sliding down. Five identical assault rifles came flying down to them as they stood up and caught them.
"SPD Pink!" said Hana holding up her rifle.
"SPD Yellow!" said Trux shouldering his rifle with his right hand and his left hand on his hip.
"SPD Green!" said Jared aiming his rifle forward while in a kneeling position.
"SPD Blue!" said Joey aiming his rifle forward while standing.
"SPD Red!" said Paige holding up her rifle upwards with her right hand while pointing forward with her left hand.
"Let's go A-Squad!" said A-Squad Red as she and A-Squad Blue rode their bikes while A-Squad Green, Yellow and Pink rode their jeeps before heading off to the museum.
"Good luck rangers…" said Cruger as he and Kat watched over them with satellite surveillance.
Present time…
Bebop and Rocksteady had their jaws dropped to the floor as they stared at the five rangers standing before them. The first to snap out of it was Bebop.
"Are ya kiddin me man!? First a Kamen Rider, now Power Rangers?! This has got to be a freakin nightmare yo!" he exclaimed holding his head.
"I don't believe it…" uttered Rocksteady in which the ranger heard.
"Oh, you better believe it rhino boy, 'cause we're taking you two in!" declared A-Squad Yellow pointing his rifle at the duo.
Bebop snapped out of it and just scoffed "In yo dreams yellow officer dude! 'Cause, you and yo passé's gonna be in for a world of hurt!" said Bebop.
"Da! Because no one can face the Bebop and Rocksteady!" declared Rocksteady with a macho pose and hearing that made some of the A-Squad snicker, particularly A-Squad Pink, Yellow and Blue, although A-Squad Blue restrained himself.
'So, it is them' thought A-Squad Red with an amused smile behind her helmet revealing to recognize the two for some reason.
"Bebop and Rocksteady? Hahaaa! What kinda names are those!" mocked A-Squad Yellow with a chuckle.
"Yeah, who'd come up with silly names like those? Especially Bebop!?" quipped A-Squad Pink laughing like crazy while pointing at Bebop and Yellow soon followed with the laughing.
A-Squad Red sweat dropped at that while A-Squad Green shook his head and face palmed "Honestly… you two can be just…" he muttered.
A-Squad Blue on the other hand quickly turned to his laughing teammates with wide eyes behind his helmet 'What's wrong with you two…? laughing at the criminals is a bad idea…' he thought frantically before slowly turning to the mutant duo who looked beyond ticked off.
"Hey! It wasn't our idea to name ourselves that foo!" yelled Bebop.
"Da! Prepare to get pulverized!" declared Rocksteady pulling out his mini-gun and open fired.
(Power Rangers SPD – Fight BGM Track 1)
"SCATTER!" shouted A-Squad Red as she and the rest of A-Squad rolled out of the way making the lasers miss them only to end up hitting A-Squad Blue's bike destroying it with a resounding *BOOOOOM!*.
"MY BIKE!" exclaimed A-Squad Blue turning to the fiery explosion "That's the third time this month!" he complained only to end up getting hit in the gut by an invisible force.
"Worry about yourself blue!" said Bebop appearing in front of A-Squad Blue "Hee hee~!" he said turning invisible while avoiding A-Squad Blue's swing from his rifle before appearing next to him "Hoo hoo~!" he said before disappearing again while avoiding another of the blue ranger's rifle swing "Where am I blue boy? Come and find me!" he taunted.
A-Squad Blue growled in annoyance before taking a deep breath and concentrated. He looked around him on high alert, he then caught a glance of a shimmer run passed him and without even looking, slammed his left elbow behind him hitting Bebop on the gut forcing him visible with a surprised squeal, making him stagger back.
"Doof...! Lucky shot foo!" Bebop exclaimed with a glare while holding his gut.
A-Squad Blue turned to Bebop "Hmph... guess luck's on my side then" he said slyly before raising up his rifle "Delta Shooter!" he called out open firing with his now identified Delta Shooter as it shot out blue lasers.
"Whoa!" exclaimed Bebop dodging the laser fire. He kept dodging while doing some poses "Hee hee~! Hoo hoo~! Woo ooh~!" he taunted.
Suddenly, A-Squad Yellow appeared out of nowhere charging in with a battle cry and rammed his shoulder at Bebop sending the mutant warthog flying back and landed back to the floor "He's not your only opponent y'know!" said Yellow as he and Blue stood side by side, Delta Shooters at the ready "Your opponent will be us, porkchop!" Yellow taunted as Bebop stood up with an annoyed snort and faced off against the two A-Squad rangers.
With Rocksteady, he was fighting toe to toe against A-Squad Red, Green and Pink as the three rangers surrounded him.
"You think you can beat Rocksteady by surrounding him?! I will crush you like purple grape!" he said sending haymakers everywhere at the rangers and at every time, they dodged at the last second.
The three rangers countered by firing their Delta Shooters at the mutant rhino, but for some reason, their laser fire would just bounce off of Rocksteady's skin.
"What the heck?! Is his skin made of steel or something?!" A-Squad Pink exclaimed dodging another strike from Rocksteady.
"Ha~! Haha! Guess puny rangers does not have power to defeat Rocksteady!" taunted Rocksteady as he sent a ground pound with both his fists forcing A-Squad Pink and Red to jump out of the way.
"Is that so?" Rocksteady heard and the next thing he knew, he was locking hands with A-Squad Green as the both of them tried to push away the other.
"How is puny green ranger able to withstand my strength!?" Rocksteady said in disbelief.
"Heh… guess I'm just full of surprises rhino man" said A-Squad Green grinning behind his helmet.
While the two were in their stalemate, A-Squad Blue and Yellow were pointing their shooters looking everywhere for the currently invisible Bebop.
"Come out, come out wherever you are Bebop!" called out A-Squad Yellow keeping on a lookout for the mutant warthog.
"Don't make things harder for you!" warned A-Squad Blue aiming his rifle at random directions.
"Harder for me? Or harder for you?" Bebop's voice taunted before the mutant warthog appeared next to them firing hip lasers at them "Hee hee~!"
The two rangers dodged and countered with laser fire of their own and soon, it turned into a fire fight with Bebop dodging every laser fire with his moves while countering with his hip lasers and vice versa.
"How 'bout some a this?!" said Bebop as he fired some purple sticky goop from his belt.
The two rangers dodged as the goop hit the floor.
"Ugh… that's just… not right" uttered Yellow shaking his head in disgust.
"Nasty…" uttered Blue in equal disgust.
Some of the goop ended up flying near A-Squad Red and Pink, luckily, they dodged but barely as a small bit of it ended up hitting them.
"EW! Gross! What is this disgusting stuff!?" cringed Pink in disgust, looking at the goo on one of her hands.
"So sticky…" uttered Red noticing how sticky it was while also equally disgusted.
"Hahaha! What's the matter? You ladies can't handle a little goo? Perhaps ya'll should go back home and do whatever girls are suppose ta do while letting the boys handle everything" the mutant warthog mocked and just like that, the two just snapped.
"Uh oh…" said A-Squad Blue and Yellow slowly turning to Bebop "You shouldn't have said that" they said in unison.
"Huh? Why not?" said Bebop stupidly.
Blue and Yellow slowly turned back to their female teammates and flinched upon seeing visible dark auras emitting from the both of them and it was that of promise of terror.
Upon seeing those auras made Bebop gulp nervously and when the two female rangers slowly turned their heads to him, he flinched and made a sound similar to both a squeal and a squeak "Um… I'm sorry?" he said sweating bullets.
One important thing you must know is that you should never insult or question a woman about what they can or can't do in their life and that would be an insult to their pride and Bebop messed up… BIG TIME.

And just like that, what happened next was that Bebop was being chased by two angry female rangers shooting red and pink lasers respectfully at him while he was squealing like a pig in fright while also forgetting about his cloaking device.
A-Squad Blue and Yellow just watched the poor mutant warthog get chased with sweat drops on the sides of their helmets.
"Man… Paige and Hana sure are scary when they're mad…" commented Yellow.
"You can say that again…" said Blue shivering at the thought, remembering the times when he unintentionally ticked off Paige and Hana and the both of them can pack quite a mean punch, although he couldn't recall who's punch was more powerful.
"Hey kids! If you're not too busy over there, then I could use a little help over here!" called out A-Squad Green as Blue and Yellow turned to see him exchanging blows with Rocksteady and it seems that Green wasn't gonna last much longer due to his… 'Ehem!' current state of age.
"Got it!" exclaimed Blue and Yellow before charging at Rocksteady.
"HAYAAAA!" shouted the two as they jumped up and did a double flying kick. A-Squad Green managed to get out of the way just in time for the former two to hit the mutant rhino on the face.
"GAAAAAH!" screamed Rocksteady as he was sent flying and crashed to the ground.
The trio then heard the sound of screaming causing them to turn just in time to see Bebop get sent flying towards them courtesy of A-Squad Red and Pink after giving the mutant warthog a double backwards spin-kick.
A-Squad Blue, Green and Yellow ducked just in time for Bebop to fly passed them and crash into Rocksteady with the sound of crashing being heard off-screen.
"Ooh~!" said Blue and Yellow while flinching.

Bebop and Rocksteady were now on the ground groaning before managing to stand back up albeit a bit exhausted.
The five A-Squad power rangers gathered in front of the two mutants with Red in the middle, Pink to her left, Yellow to her right, Green to the far left and Blue to the far right.
"Bebop and Rocksteady, you are charged with breaking into Concordia City Museum, damaging public property and stealing the Red Taurus Diamond!" said A-Squad Red making the duo gasped.
"How the heck they know yo?!" Bebop exclaimed in panic.
"Uh… our equipment told us what you were doing and what you stole…" said A-Squad Yellow in a deadpan tone.
"SPD Morpher: Judgement Mode!" announced A-Squad Red taking out her morpher and pointing it towards Bebop and Rocksteady activating its' judgement mode showing a red X and white O symbol on the top and bottom of the open morpher respectively.
A holographic timer clock appeared in front of them as the X and O symbols started blinking back and forth with the former on their right and the latter on their left, the two mutants were getting overwhelmed by this while the morpher on A-Squad Red's hand was doing the same as the clock with the X and O blinked back and forth respectively.
"What's goin on dawg?!" Bebop asked panicking.
"I believe, we being judged!" said Rocksteady in realization.
"No way man!" exclaimed Bebop holding the sides of his head.
"That's right…" said A-Squad Red "And with the actions you've caused tonight… there is no doubt that the both of you are…" she trailed off before the timer stopped and the morpher lit up on the red X concluding that Bebop and Rocksteady were…
"Guilty!" declared A-Squad as Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink held their right fists in the SPD customary salute.
Bebop and Rocksteady gulped.

"Delta Shooter energize!" A-Squad Red announced pulling out her Delta Shooter and took aim as it charged up with red energy while her team stood behind her still in their saluting position.
"Fire!" announced Red as she fired a powerful beam at the duo.
Bebop and Rocksteady screamed in fright while doing a comical pose as they prepared to feel the pain coming to them. The laser hit, causing an explosion.
"Alright!" cheered the A-Squad rangers at another job well done upon apprehending two criminals.

But it seems that fate or in this case, a certain someone had other plans… because when the smoke cleared, it revealed a blue forcefield protecting Bebop and Rocksteady who had their butts on the ground.
"What the?!" exclaimed A-Squad Blue and Yellow.
"Impossible…" muttered A-Squad Green.
"No way…" uttered out A-Squad Pink in disbelief.
"Where did that come from?!" exclaimed A-Squad Red flabbergasted at this development.
The forcefield disappeared and standing in between the mutants and the SPD A-Squad rangers was none other than Kamen Rider Lupin.
"What the heck?! You again?!" Bebop exclaimed in disbelief.
"Why has phantom thief returned after leaving with bounty?!" Rocksteady demanded but Lupin wasn't listening as he grinned behind his mask towards the rangers.
"Pardonne moi rangers… but I can't have you arresting them just yet…" he told them. And with a snap of his fingers, a blue magic circle appeared below Bebop and Rocksteady confusing them and just like that, the magic circle went through them resulting in their disappearance, shocking the rangers.
"No!" exclaimed A-Squad Pink.
"They disappeared…" uttered A-Squad Green.
"What did you do to them punk!?" demanded A-Squad Yellow pointing his Delta Shooter at Lupin.
"Oh, chillax, I merely just used a teleportation spell to transport them away from this location" replied Lupin casually.
"That means they got away…" said A-Squad Blue gritting his teeth.
A-Squad Red just stared at Lupin with wide eyes upon seeing him for some reason but haven't forgotten about Bebop and Rocksteady being transported.
"You got a lot of nerve interfering with SPD business!" said A-Squad Yellow "Just who are you anyway bucko?!" he demanded.
Before Lupin could answer, someone beat him to it.
"You're Kamen Rider Lupin… Zoruku Tojo I presume?" A-Squad Red guessed surprising his teammates.
"You know who this is Paige?!" A-Squad Pink exclaimed.
"Apparently…" said A-Squad Red.
Lupin smiled in amusement behind his mask "My… my… I have to say, that I'm impressed with your assumption red ranger… although you've got one thing wrong" he said.
"What…?" said A-Squad Red raising an eyebrow.
"I am indeed Kamen Rider Lupin but I am not who you presume" said Lupin "I have obtained this power recently and this is actually my first time using these powers" he said surprising the A-Squad.
A-Squad Red narrowed her eyes "It doesn't matter…" she said raising up her rifle at the phantom thief with the rest of A-Squad doing the same "You are still under arrest. Resistance is futile and you'll be brought in for questioning" declared the A-Squad leader.
This only made Lupin chuckle in amusement "As much as how I'd love to stay…" he trailed off while taking out his Lupin Blade viral core and inserted it into his Lupin Gunner unfolding the blade turning the Lupin Gunner into blade mode.

"I have other things to do…" he said as he slammed his palm onto his weapon's barrel.
UL~TIMATE…
A-Squad Red gasped and widened her eyes behind her helmet apparently recognizing what's about to happen. "EVERYONE TAKE COVER!" she warned her team.
LUPIN~ SLASH!
Kamen Rider Lupin sent a diamond energy slash at the rangers, luckily, they all rolled out of the way just in time making the energy slash hit the spot the rangers were in creating an explosion.
When the rangers recovered, they pointed their weapons towards Lupin's direction only to discover that he'd already vanished once the smoke cleared.
"It's been fun rangers~" said Lupin's voice echoing around the area "Hope to see you all again sometime… but for now… I bid you… adieu~!" echoed Lupin's voice before everything went silent.
"Dang it!" shouted A-Squad Green in frustration slamming his fist to a nearby pillar causing it to crack.
"They got away…" said A-Squad Pink in frustration.
A-Squad Blue and Yellow were at the same boat as the other two while A-Squad Red clenched the grip of her rifle and slightly growled because this was the first time in awhile that the A-Squad failed in apprehending someone and letting them escape.
Later, police cars gathered at the museum and blocked out the place from civilian entry using police tape.
Police officers and investigators took pictures of the damage the museum took and as well as evidence of the scene of the crime, which is the theft of the Red Taurus Diamond.
Outside, were the four night-guards Johnson, Freddie, Thompson and Jack being questioned by other police officers of what happened.
Standing near a police van was Paige looking over the aftermath of the crime.
She sighed in exhaustion "Man… I can't believe they got away…" she said with her arms crossed.
"Hey Paige" she heard a voice. Paige turned to see Joey walking towards him with two cops of hot coco "Here, this'll warm you up" he said offering one of the cups.
Paige took the cup and nodded in thanks. She blew into the cup before taking a sip, sighing in content.
"Man… I can't believe they got away!" said a voice as Paige and Joey turned to see Hana fuming in frustration while approaching them "If it weren't for that Lupin guy, we would've already gotten Bebop and Rocksteady in our custody but no... he had to pop out of nowhere and ruined it!" she complained.
"Yeah… and not to mention we would've recovered the red Taurus diamond by now" complained Trux, also approaching the group followed by Jared.
"What did you expect you two?" said Jared "Not everything would go our way and Kamen Rider Lupin was someone we didn't comprehend to appear out of nowhere" he told them.
"Yeah… and that's why we should prepare for the unexpected if something like this ever happens again" Joey told them and they nodded in agreement.
"By the way Paige, back when we faced that Kamen Rider, you already knew who it was despite getting the wrong identity" said Hana as everyone turned to their leader.
"Yeah, and the part when he unleashed his attack on us… it was like you knew what would happen, it was as if you already knew his capabilities" commented Trux.
"Yeah… in fact… as far as what I can tell, you're the most knowledgeable about Kamen Riders more than us aside from me that is" said Joey "In fact… there's this thing that's been bugging me lately" he said.
"What's been buggin you Joey?" asked Trux as he and everyone listened.
"Well, just the other day… I kinda accidentally eavesdropped on the commander and Kat talking. And what I heard from them was that they were recalling a memory of when you first became a member of A-Squad before Hana, Trux and I joined in, commander Cruger said that you knew another A-Squad who betrayed SPD and they wore the same suits as us and that you were also very knowledgeable about other Power Rangers" said Joey surprising Trux and Hana.
Hearing that made Paige's eyes widen in shock as she started to get nervous.
"Um… I uh…" she said trying to make an excuse, only to feel a hand gently touch her shoulder and turned to see that it was Jared.
"It's okay kid…" he said "You can tell them" he told her with a reassuring smile surprising Joey, Hana and Trux.
"Wait a minute?! You know what's going on Jared?!" squawked the goblin male receiving a nod from the wolf beastkin.
Taking a deep breath, Paige turned to her teammates "Okay, I'll tell you guys, but I'll explain once we return to base alright? Because I don't want anyone prying their ears into our conversation" she said "Also, we're gonna need Kat and the commander to be with us for this" she added.
The rest of A-Squad nodded as they're willing to wait.
"For now, let's return to base and report back to Commander Cruger about what happened this evening" Paige told her team who all nodded in agreement before getting into their vehicles with Joey riding with Jared and drove off back to SPD HQ.
Meanwhile with Bebop and Rocksteady, awhile prior to the aftermath of the museum robbery, the teleportation circle ended up sending the two mutants in an alleyway as the two looked around.
"What the what?! How the heck we end up here Rock?!" Bebop questioned.
"Don't know, but look!" said Rocksteady pointing at a certain direction.
Bebop turned towards where Rocksteady was pointing at and was surprised to see that sitting parked in the dark part of the alley was their van realizing that they were in the place they parked before breaking into the museum.
"We're back to where we parked yo!" Bebop said in surprise.
"Now why would phantom thief transport us back to where we parked van?" Rocksteady wondered holding his chin with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't know dawg, but I rather we blow this place before the space fuzz find us" said Bebop.
"Da, agreed" nodded Rocksteady as he and Bebop headed for the van.
"Still frustrated at the fact that that Lupin dude took our booty though..." said Bebop in frustration.
"Da, I couldn't agree more" said Rocksteady in equal frustration.
When they made it to the van, Bebop and Rocksteady opened the passenger and driver seat doors respectively when all of a sudden, Bebop saw box with a rolled-up paper tied to it placed on his seat surprising the both of them.
"Huh? What's this?" Bebop wondered as he untied the box and opened it and his eyes widened behind his goggles and his jaws dropped for the third time in a row.
"What is it Bebop?" the Russian mutated rhinoceros asked.
Bebop didn't answer. He just turned the open box around and showed Rocksteady something that made him widen his eyes and drop his jaw as well. Sitting inside the box was none other than the Red Taurus Diamond.
"It's the red taurus yo!" Bebop squealed in excitement.
"Nyet… how's it possible?!" said Rocksteady in disbelief.
"I don't know man, but all I know is that we got it!" cheered Bebop as he and Rocksteady did a victory dance.
After a few moments of dancing, Bebop remembered the rolled-up paper.
"Oh yeah man, there's still this paper" he said as he unrolled it and it revealed a note with the words made from cut out letters.
Rocksteady took a closer look and read the note along with Bebop.
Dear Bebop and Rocksteady.
I have to say that that was quite the show you put on when you fought the rangers, it was so amusing that I almost died laughing!
Bebop and Rocksteady growled at that before continuing on with reading the note.
Anyway, I've decided to return the red taurus diamond to you, as much as how big of a value it has, it doesn't seem to bare any interest to me. Consider this as compensation for all your troubles and I do hope we encounter each other again in the future.

After reading the note, Bebop and Rocksteady looked at each other.
"Why would phantom thief just give back diamond to us?" Rocksteady questioned.
"I heard rumors of Nexus returning what he stole for some reason after a certain amount of time, either minutes, hours, days or even a week after stealing whatever he stole" explained Bebop.
"Or in this case, he return diamond to us" said Rocksteady as Bebop nodded in agreement "That Lupin dude sure is a strange one right?" asked the latter.
"Da, real strange" agreed Rocksteady with a nod.
The mutant warthog looked at the note again and shivered a bit "Man~, I hope we don't run into that weirdo again" said Bebop as he and Rocksteady got inside the van.
"We better not" agreed the mutant rhino as he started up the van.
"But what matters right now is… WE'RE RICH BABY!" cheered Bebop.
"Da! Once we take diamond to client, we will be the stinking rich!" agreed Rocksteady.
"Man~, after a long day, I sure look forward to just goin home and enjoying a nice hot meal and a bottle of booze to wash it down" said Bebop resting his arms on the back of his head and crossing one of his legs.
"Da, comrade and I as well look forward to having big bowl of borscht and bottle of vodka once we return" said Rocksteady moving the van a bit. He pushed a few buttons on his van's panel and after pushing another button, popping out of his van's hood was some kind of laser.
The laser hummed to life and it fired a purple laser beam and from that beam, a purple portal appeared.
Rocksteady then floored it and drove straight into the portal.
"Hee~ hee hee~!" whooped Bebop as the duo in their van went through the portal before it disappeared without a trace.
Somewhere in the rooftops of Concordia, we see Kamen Rider Lupin standing on one of the roofs watching over the evening lights of the city, his cape flowing in the wind.
His form then glowed before changing back into Nexus Lupin with his cape flowing in the wind still.
The phantom thief chuckled before doing something unexpected… he turned to the reader.
"Bonjour~" he greeted "I apologize for the late introduction but I'm sure some of you might know me" he said "But to those who don't, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Nexus. Nexus Lupin, the Multiverse's infamous phantom thief" greeted Nexus removing his hat and bowing to the reader "And I will be one of your guides to this story" he said while putting on his hat.
"And if you're wondering, I will be your guide… to the villains' point of view" he said with a grin behind his mask.
"Right now, you are being introduced to the villains of the story and that includes those who are of the… neutral side of things" explained Nexus "If you're wondering if I'm a bad guy, then you are wrong… I'm on the neutral side of things, I'm not your friend… but I sure am not you're enemy… in fact… I… am your frenemy" proclaimed Nexus with a chuckle.
"Bebop and Rocksteady are just the beginning… in the future, you'll be meeting villains who are more dangerous than those two, in fact… I'm sure you already heard the mention about the group that they're a part of, the Shadow Fist Guild" explained Nexus "They have members even more dangerous than them and some of them are even anti-heroes" he said with a chuckle.
"Be warned… that there are other foes out there who'd do worse than Bebop and Rocksteady and it is something… you must be wary of" he warned with a dark chuckle.
Nexus turned to his watch and gasped dramatically "Oh dear, look at the time! It seems that we've reached the end of the chapter" he said before turning back to the readers "It's been fun kiddies, I'll see you all next time…" he said "But before we go… how about I give you a little sneak peek on another member of the Shadow Fist Guild and he's a certain someone… that all of you might know…" trailed off Nexus "But to those who don't... let me introduce you" he said and with a snap of his fingers, a bright light engulfed the whole place.
Somewhere on a scorching hot desert, we see what looks like someone on a motorbike riding through the harsh heat.
The motorbike in question was a Harley Motorbike with a black and crimson color scheme and flame designs and equipped with machineguns on the lower front, all terrain tires, jet boosters and flight fins on the back.
The bike continued to ride on until it took a stop at a gas station allowing the rider to dismount and proceed to the gas refilling station.
The rider in question was a tall young man with short unkempt chestnut brown hair, fair skin, slim and strong build and concealing his face is a gray and red tinted custom-made gas mask that resembles an M04 Tactical Gas Mask with the air canister on the left side. He's clad in a dark gray open military overcoat with a pair of black elbow pads, a crimson armband with an insignia of fire in an upside down black triangle on the left upper arm over a black bulletproof tactical vest, with a stick-on patch of a flaming skull on the upper right side of the front over a black long sleeve shirt under a maroon t-shirt, dark blue tactical cargo pants with a black belt and black armor knee pads, black strapped combat boots, a pair of black tactical military combat gloves, a black wrist watch on his left wrist, a customized SP5K with a small ovular high-pressure propane canister replacing the magazine holstered on his right leg, an Ontario 6145 Military Machete in a black sheath strapped on the left side of his belt, a custom WW2-Era M42 German helmet with a flaming skull insignia on the right side and a flashlight attached to the left side worn on his head and a Saiga 12 Shotgun holstered on the right side of his back. This is Blazer, a mercenary-bounty hunter and a member of the Shadow Fist Guild.
Blazer walked over to the cashier window with said cashier playing with his phone when he heard the sound of gasmask breathing and not only that, it sounded a lot like Darth Vader.
The cashier looked up to see Blazer standing in front of him with his gasmasked face looming over him.
"AHH!" the cashier exclaimed in shock, falling backwards along with his chair. The cashier slowly peaked his head up to see the merc-bounty hunter "M-m-may I help you sir?" he nervously asked while shaking.
Blazer put one of his hands into his pockets and pulled out a few dollars "Gas refill please" he said as he put the cash in front of the cashier "Keep the change" he said.
The cashier nervously took the money and took it "Oh uh… s-s-sure! H-h-help yourself!" he said before pulling down the curtains and fell silent.
Blazer just sighed and shook his head before going to the gas refilling station and proceeded to refuel his bike.
While he waited for his bike to be filled, Blazer pulled out a piece of paper which revealed to be a wanted poster as he observed it.

It showed a picture of an arrogant looking man with a smug looking expression while wearing a cowboy Stetson hat. Below the picture was the name "Sid Crowe", a wanted criminal to be hunted down and brought in either dead or alive with a bounty of 2,000,000 dollars and he was Blazer's current target.
Blazer looked up towards the open road ahead and narrowed his eyes.
After refueling, Blazer hopped onto his bike and road off where his target waited ahead.
"Ooh~! I wonder where Blazer's headed?" said the voice of Nexus Lupin "I guess we'll find out next time~" he said in a sing-song tone.
"So, stay tuned folks" he said "Ciao~!"

That's all for the new chapter. The A-Squad SPD power rangers battled against Bebop and Rocksteady and have won but before they could apprehend them, Nexus Lupin AKA Kamen Rider Lupin appears and he helped them escape and not only that, he returned the Red Taurus Diamond to them. Also, we got a sneak peek on another character who'll appear in the next chapter, a mercenary-bounty hunter named Blazer.
Bet you didn't expect Nexus to be another guide right? He'll be making some more appearances here and there but not all the time and he'll even make some small narratives in the future but he won't be on the sidelines all the time.
We got to see the identities of the A-Squad SPD Power Rangers and they seem like an interesting bunch. And I bet you're wondering what A-Squad Red is hiding? Well you'll have to find out next time.
