Chapter 7 – The Rejects, The Eds and The Master of the Seas Part 2
Somewhere in the multiverse, we open to a vast ocean with some large chunks of ice floating around.
All was quiet, when all of a sudden, a large purple crack appeared in the sky. It got bigger until a hole cracked open revealing a dimension vacuum, an anomaly that would pop out of nowhere and suck in anything near it and take them to places unknown.
But instead of sucking anything in… it was dropping something out. That something… or some-things were three certain males as said males came screaming like crazy as they fell to the ocean with a huge *SPLASH!*, and just like that, moments after dropping them off, the dimension vacuum vanished as if it wasn't there.
Slowly, one by one, the Eds popped out of the freezing water of the ocean and gasped huge amounts of air.
"BWAH! We're alive! WE'RE ALIVE!" exclaimed Double D gasping in relief while treading water.
"AAAAAH! COLD!" shouted Ed shivering at the feeling of the icy cold ocean water.
"WHOOOO! OH, THANK THE CELESTIAL GODS! WE'RE ALIVE!" exclaimed Eddy happy to be alive after getting sucked up by the vacuum, he then looked up towards the sky "HEY! COME BACK HERE AND TAKE US BACK HOME YOU GIANT SUCKING VACUUM JERK!" he shouted angrily while shaking a fist towards the sky.
"Eddy, stop! That won't do us any good!" said Double D.
"Oh yeah? Then what should we do then Sockhead!?" shouted Eddy turning to Double D.
"How about we get out of this freezing water" he told him "Get out of the water?! How?! It's a freaking ocean out here!" said Eddy.
"An ocean with ice chunks around us" pointed out Double D as the leader of the Eds noticed the ice chunks "Oh…" he said.
"Let's swim to a nearby ice chunk before we exhaust ourselves and freeze over" said Double D as the Eds swam over to a nearby ice chunk and climbed out of the water and onto the ice. Thankfully, it was big enough to fit all three of them.
"Okay Sockhead, now that we're out of the water, can you explain to us what happened?" asked Eddy "I mean you're the smart one here, do you know what that thing was?" he questioned.
"Well, I only heard rumors about it but I think that was what's called a dimension vacuum" said Double D.
"A dimension vacuum?" said Eddy with a raised eyebrow.
"To put it simply Eddy, it's a giant crack in the sky that would appear without warning and suck in anything that's close to it and it would take them anywhere in the multiverse" said Double.
"In other words… we're not in Eartheon anymore?" said Eddy with wide eyes.
"Yes, to put it bluntly" replied Double D.
There was a long pause before Eddy grabbed Double D by the shoulders and started shaking him like crazy "ARE YOU SAYING WE'RE STUCK OUT HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WITH NO WAY BACK! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" shouted Eddy frantically.
"P-l-l-l-please… Eddy! Calm down!" exclaimed Double D in between shakes.
"Oh really?! HOW CAN I CALM DOWN WHEN WE'RE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN! DO YOU KNOW ANY WAY FOR US TO GET OUT OF HERE?!" he shouted as he stopped shaking Double D.
"Uh…" said Double D trying to think up of a solution to their situation.
"HEEEEEEELP!" shouted out Ed towards the horizon all of a sudden, startling the other two.
"ED! What are you doing?!" exclaimed Eddy.
"Calling out for help" said Ed "I saw it in Avatar: The last Air Bender, when Aang and Zuko were trapped in the secret Sun Warrior village, Aang called out for help and someone heard them, so if I call out for help, someone will hear us" he explained.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! HOW CAN ANYONE HEAR US WHEN WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE IN THE FREAKING OCEAN!?" Eddy shouted as he started to shake Ed like crazy "And for the record… AANG AND ZUKO WERE ONLY LUCKY BECAUSE THEY WERE UNAWARE THAT THE SUN WARRIORS WERE STILL AROUND IN SECRET!" added Eddy continuing to shake the dimwitted Ed. Ed's knowledge may have increased through the past 6 years but he still tends to spout out nonsense sometimes.
"Eddy, please calm down!" Double D said trying to calm down Eddy.
Before Eddy could retort, all of a sudden…
"HELLO! IS ANYBODY THERE?!" called out a loud voice which echoed from a distance.
"Huh? Someone actually heard us?" said Eddy in surprise "Duh, I mean… good job Lumpy! I knew you could pull it off!" he said letting go of Ed and patting him on the back.
"No, you didn't" said Double D with a deadpan look.
"HELLOOOOO! WE'RE OVER HEEEERE!" called out Ed towards the direction of the source of the voice while waving his arms.
"OH! MY! GOD~! THERE ARE PEOPLE OVER THERE!" exclaimed the loud voice.
"Alright! We get it Caboose! We heard it too!" said another voice.
"Oh, thank goodness, we're not alone" said Double D as the Eds looked towards the source of where the voices came from and saw that it was another group of boys about ten of them. These boys were none other than the Rejects and they were currently on a big wooden raft about as big as a small ship with Vernon "Vern" Joannes, Tucker Jensen, Nathan "Nate" Grayson and Gage Samson paddling the raft using long wooden 2x4 planks.
How did the Rejects end up on a raft? Well… about a few of hours ago, the boys were the first to appear in this dimension via dimension vacuum and parts of their crudely built treehouses were also sucked in along with them. Luckily, the Rejects found one part of the red treehouse which was a long sturdy wooden wall that was able to fit and support all of them. They grabbed what they could that was floating around the water and put them on their makeshift raft and then, they started paddling around for a while to see if they could find any traces of land up ahead when they saw the 2nd dimension vacuum that brought the Eds and headed straight for that direction which led them to meet said trio.
"Hey ther! Looks like ye could use sum help!" greeted Clay "Gunny" Samson.
"Thank you very much, we thought that we'd be alone and stranded here but thank goodness you found us" thanked Double D.
"Glad that we did" said David McMillan. The Rejects proceeded to take the Eds onto their raft and after doing so, they proceeded to row away.
"Once again, thank you for helping us…" thanked Double D drying himself with a towel while wondering David's name.
"David, David McMillan and no problem" said David introducing himself, he then turned to the rest of the Rejects "That's my brother Leonard, but you can call him Lenny".
"Hey there" greeted Leonard "Lenny" McMillan.
"The ones rowing the raft are Tucker, Vern, Nate and Gage" said David introducing the ones rowing the raft.
"Yo!" greeted Tucker.
"Hello" greeted Vern with a nod.
"Hey" greeted Gage.
"Hello there!" greeted Nate cheerfully.
"That's Clay, Gage's older twin brother over there" said David pointing towards the red jacket wearing reject.
"Tha's Gunny tah you! And who gave ya permission ta introduce mah troops McMillan!" retorted Gunny.
"Uh… Gunny?" said Double D in confusion.
"Ignore him, he has this obsession with military stuff and likes to act like a military leader which is why he nicknamed himself after a military rank which is Gunnery Sergeant" explained Lenny.
"And ah'm proud of it!" said Gunny with his chest puffed up.
"Oh… I see…" said Double D with a sweatdrop.
"You said "your" troops, who exactly are your troops?" asked Eddy.
"Tha would be Private Gage nd Private Nate" said Gunny "Nd these 'er tha rest a mah troops: Private Cliff and Private Dan!" he said introducing the remaining two of his team with the former eating a candy bar and the latter looking through some scope.
"Sup!" greeted Clifford "Cliff" Sullivan casually while taking a bite out of his candy bar.
"Greetings" greeted Daniel "Dan" Richards while glancing away from his scope for a moment before returning to it.
"And finally, there's this guy" said Leonard pointing towards their last member Michael "Mickey" Avery Lockheart who was just sitting and looking up at the sky until he heard Lenny introduce him to the Eds.
"Hello! My name is Michael Avery Lockheart, but you can call me Mickey… or Caboose" said Caboose introducing himself.
"Hi Caboose!" greeted Ed with wave and a horse smile.
"Wait? You call him Caboose? As in… Red vs Blue Caboose?" said Eddy with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah… he kinda reminds us of Caboose because of how similar his personality and logic are to him, so we decided to call him that and he doesn't seem to mind" said Tucker.
"I see…" said Double D when he noticed the half face gasmask he's wearing "Pardon my rudeness but… why is he wearing a pair of sunglasses and a… respirator?" he asked.
"Hmm?" asked Lenny when he turned to Caboose "Oh, don't worry about it, he just thinks wearing those make him look cool" he said casually.
"Either that or the writer has this obsession with half face gasmask respirators and full-face gasmasks looking cool and intimidating on some of his choice of characters" muttered Eddy talking about me (Pfft!).
"Huh? What was that?" asked Cliff "Nothing" replied Eddy with the slacker just shrugging it off.
"Anyway, it's pleasure to meet all of you, my name's Eddward Marion Johnson and-" introduced Double D when all of a sudden, Cliff started to laugh.
"Ahahahahahaha! Marion?! Isn't that a girl's name? Who comes up with a middle name for boys like that?! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!" laughed Cliff like crazy receiving a smack on the back of his head from Gunny.
"Shut up Numb Nuts!" shouted Gunny "Sorry 'bout him, he's an idiot slacker" he told Double D "Hey!" shouted Cliff rubbing the back of his head.
"It's… alright…" said Double D with a sweatdrop "Middle name aside, these are my friends" he said pointing towards Ed and Eddy.
"Hey there!" greeted Eddy with a wave "I'm Eddy Skipper McGee and not to brag but… I'm really good with the ladies~" bragged Eddy smoothly.
"Really? You think you could give me some more tips on how to pick up some chicks? I could give you some of my own knowledge on how to pick up some chicks, not to brag but I'm a lady killer myself too, bow chicka bow wow!" bragged Tucker.
"Really now~?" asked Eddy raising an eyebrow in interest "Shut up!" he said with a grin.
"Yeah-haw! I can make the ladies swoon over me like it was nothin!" bragged Tucker.
Suddenly, Eddy wrapped his arm around Tucker's shoulder "Buddy… I think you and I will get along just fine…" he said 'Perfect! If I get a few pointers from him, I'll be able to find a hot girl in no time!' thought Eddy 'Sweet! Another guy who knows how to enjoy the greater things in life!' thought Tucker as he and the leader of the Eds gave off mischievous chuckles.
The rest of the Eds and Rejects looked on with mixed reactions, some such as Caboose and Ed were confused while some were sweatdropping, shaking their heads or sighing in annoyance and exasperation.
'Aw, great! Just when one Tucker was bad enough!' thought Leonard with an annoyed expression.
"Hey! Who told ya tha you could stop rowin!" shouted Gunny noticing that Tucker had stopped rowing the raft.
"Okay, okay, I'll get back to it, jeez…" said Tucker before he continued to row the raft with the others.
"Anyway, this is our last member, Edwin Horace Willis" said Double D introducing Ed.
"Hello! My name is Ed!" said Ed with a smile waving hello.
"Hello Ed! My name's Caboose!" greeted back Caboose waving at Ed cheerfully.
"Hi Caboose!" waved back Ed with a smile.
"Hi Ed!" greeted Caboose again.
"Dude… didn't the both of you say hello to each other already?" said Tucker in disbelief "Yeah, what he said Ed" agreed Eddy.
"Aw great! Now there's two of "them" as well!" exclaimed Lenny in annoyance.
This made Double D and David sweatdrop.
Later, the two groups exchanged stories about their life back at their homes and to say, they had a number of mixed reactions.
"Seriously? You made a number of scams to earn money for candy? And it always ended up failing and you three get in trouble with the other kids for it? Man… talk about crazy" said Tucker.
"Well, not as crazy as you guys, how can a bunch of guys like you cause so much trouble!?" said Eddy in disbelief.
"Oh, you do NOT want to know" said Lenny not wanting to talk about it "At least, you guys were accepted in the end while us on the other hand… well… you get the picture" said David.
"Well, in my opinion, I'm sure that the people of your hometown will accept all of you, given time" said Double D being optimistic about the Rejects' predicament.
"Sorry to burst your bubble Sockhead but… considering how much unintentional trouble they caused not only to most of their peers but as well as to the adults… I don't think they'll accept them anytime soon like… forever" said Eddy.
"Pfft! Okay, first off… "Sockhead"? Good one! Second… he's right on that one y'know" said Cliff while finding one of Double D's nicknames kinda funny.
"No matter how many times we'd try to fit in, trouble always seems to find us whether we wanted to or not and everybody would hate and ridicule us for that" said Vern with a sigh as he, Tucker, Gage and Nate continued to row.
"Yeah… and everyone sees us as if we're some kind of curse" sighed Dan agreeing sadly as he continued looking through his scope.
"Yeah, our home is full of meanies" said Caboose giving his opinion.
"Man… talk about messed up" said Eddy.
"I'm not in my happy place" Ed sadly said agreeing with Eddy.
"Well… I'm very sorry to hear that" said Double D.
"It's alright Eddward, we're kinda already used to it" said David.
"Private Richards! What's the status on finding any traces of civilization!" called out Gunny wanting to get their minds off of the glum atmosphere as he turned towards Dan who was looking at his special scope.
"Well… according to this sextant, we are approximately… zero percent nowhere near land or any other civilization" replied Dan "If we don't find any trace of land soon, we won't be able to find a way back to our home dimension" added Dan.
"Dagnabit!" exclaimed Gunny in frustration.
Suddenly, the sound of snickering was heard and everyone turned to see that it was Eddy who was covering his mouth with his hand trying not to laugh.
"Is somethin funny bucko?" asked Gunny with a raised eyebrow.
"Pfft! Sorry! It's just…" trailed off Eddy as he turned to Dan "Hey Dan… what's that thing called?" he asked pointing towards the sextant.
"Uh… it's called a… sextant?" answered Dan confused.
Then Ed started to chuckle a bit getting the rest of the Rejects confused again.
"I'm sorry, I think I didn't hear you, what's it called?" asked Eddy with feint innocence getting closer to Dan.
A bit hesitant at first, Dan answered "It's commonly known as a sextant, and-" but Dan was interrupted by a burst of laughter coming from Ed and soon Eddy joined in on the laughter and even Cliff laughed also.
"Oh! Hahahaha! Oh my god! I'm starting to get it! Good one Eddy! AHAAAHAAAHAAAA!" laughed Cliff rolling on the raft.
"Say it again Dan!" laughed Ed as he, Eddy and Cliff laughed their heads off.
"Uh… sextant?" said Dan still confused "BOW CHICKA BOW WOW!" exclaimed Tucker as he too joined in on the laughter and hearing him say that made Ed, Eddy and Cliff laugh even harder.
"AAAHAHAHA! AAAHAHAHA!" laughed Caboose but then stopped and turned to everyone else "What are we laughing about?" he asked innocently with a bit of confusion.
"Aw, god…" said Lenny facepalming. The others had different reactions, Nate tried his best not to laugh, Vern facepalmed while blushing slightly red, David just facepalmed while shaking his head and the same went for Double D and Gage and Dan's face immediately turned red when he realized why they were laughing.
"Stop laughin this instant ya screwheads! Tha's an order!" shouted Gunny infuriated but Cliff wouldn't stop laughing.
"Oh~hohoho~! I can't! Hahaha! I can't! AHAHAHAHAHA!" he said and that infuriated Gunny even more.
"Cliff… could you please stop? You're upsetting Gunny even more and you're even starting to rock the raft a bit" said Double D trying to reason with him.
"Aw, c'mon Double D, lighten up a little!" exclaimed Eddy holding his stomach. That was when the laughter stopped as the Rejects turned to Eddy with wide eyes and then turned to Double D.
"Uh… what is it?" asked Double D.
Suddenly, Cliff and Tucker burst out in laughter again "BAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! OH GOD! I THOUGHT SOCKHEAD WAS FUNNY BUT DOUBLE D!? THAT'S PRICELESS!" exclaimed Cliff banging his fist on the raft laughing his head off.
"Is there something wrong with my nickname?" asked Double D with a raised eyebrow.
"Hahahaha! Dude? Did you smother your face on someone's boobs? I bet that's how you got your nickname, bow chicka bow wow!" said Tucker causing him and Cliff to laugh even harder. Ed and Eddy laughed harder as well realizing what Tucker meant with the latter Ed getting the picture and he was even kicking his legs in the air.
"Oh, my…" said Double D widening his eyes in realization and covered his eyes with the front part of his hat in embarrassment.
"Pervert…" muttered Lenny with a blank look, Gunny was muttering some words while keeping his eyes closed but one of his eyebrows were twitching.
Caboose tilted his head to the side again completely confused, Vern, Nate and Gage had their eyes widened but had nothing to say while David facepalmed and sighed.
While the Eds and Rejects were busy with their shenanigans, they were unaware that something was spying over them high up in the sky.
That something looked like an humanoid clad in a black suit with silver, purple and black armor composed of silver shoulder armor, silver braces with purple straps on them, purple straps on the legs, a silver and purple chestplate, purple talons with yellow tips on his fingers called Zytalons, black, purple and yellow tipped bat wings on his back, the head resembling that of a bat with red bat eyes, white and red ringed modules for ears and black visor taking the shape of the bat's ears and wrapped around the waist is a silver belt with some kind of silver buckle with some kind of USB Cartridge device inserted into it. This was the Onycho Magia.
The Onycho Magia was circling around the group high up in the sky and the latter didn't even notice it. The Magia hummed in interest as it watched the group messing around and it even heard Gunny's ranting and also David trying to reason with him and telling everyone to calm down, it then smirked even though it was unseen and flew towards a certain direction where a huge fog sat a couple of miles away from the Eds and Rejects.
The Magia glided through the fog until it arrived to a certain pirate ship as it landed on the fore-deck where a certain captain awaited.
The Magia pressed a button on top of its' belt's buckle as wires that were attached to the USB Cartridge disconnected from it, releasing the cartridge as the magia pulled it out.
The USB Cartridge had a light purple and black body with a button on the top left corner and despite the cracks and two holes on the upper sides, the front of the device showed a picture of a bat and having the name "Onycho Magia" with the type being "Zetsumetsu" below it. This is the Onycho Zetsumerise Key.
And the buckle that held said key was silver with crystalline patterns and had red wires on the upper right corner and the right side where a button also was and it had a slot to the left where the zetsumerise key was inserted and finally a button on the top left side of the front. This was the Zetsumeriser.
Upon removing the zetsumerise key, purple wires surround the magia covering it from head to toe until the wires dispersed and in place of the magia was none other than Axel Les Cinq, android scout of the Black Skull Pirates.
"Well… did you find anything that fell from that large crack mister Axel?" questioned Roark Lucius, captain of the Black Skull Pirates.
"Oui, I did mon capitaine" replied the android with a nod "It is eh huge bounty, thirteen passengers, ripe for ze taking" he said with a sly grin "One very loud…" he said referring to Gunny "And one… who seems like ze strong leader of ze group" he finished while referring to David.
"In one of my oceans?" said Roark with slight surprise and intrigue "What a terrible turn of events…" he said before smirking "I… love a terrible turn of events…" the anthropomorphic chimp said as Axel grinned while the captain let out a sinister laugh which echoed across the foggy area of the ocean.
Back with the Eds and Rejects, Tucker, Cliff, Ed and Eddy were still laughing while the others with the exception of Caboose were exasperated for different reasons.
"I order all ah ya ta cease yer laughter now or else!" exclaimed Gunny pulling out his Colt Revolver Pistol and pointing it at the laughing quartet, specifically Cliff, alarming everyone else.
"N-n-now, now Gunny, please calm down and let me clear things up with my nickname!" said Double D waving his hands trying to calm down Gunny.
"Aw, really?" questioned Gunny changing his gunpoint towards Double D this time alarming the rest of the Rejects and the Eds who stopped laughing "Then explain why Eddy nicknamed ya after a girl's bust size?!" he demanded.
"Well, to clarify things, my name "Eddward" has two D's in it" he explained "And Ed's name is similar to mine which is why I've been referred to as Double D" he finished his explanation.
"I see… but couldn't you come up with a better nickname than that?" questioned Lenny with a raised eyebrow towards Eddy.
"I've been unceremoniously called Double D by Eddy ever since we were kids, so it's kinda stuck to me" explained Double D with a blank look "But if some of you are bothered with it, you can just call me Eddward or Sockhead" suggested Double D.
"Alright…" said David.
"Yeah~ I'll just stick with Double D" said Cliff.
"Ditto! I kinda like it, bow chicka bow wow!" said Tucker and that caused Cliff, Ed and Eddy to laugh hard again, when suddenly…
*BANG!*
A bullet whizzed passed near Cliff's ear startling him and the others as they slowly turned to the culprit. Gunny had his colt pistol pointed forward towards the slacker, the barrel smoking "Ah told ya ta shut it ya slacker!" he shouted.
Before anyone could attempt to calm down the trigger-happy Gunny, Caboose noticed something up ahead "Hey… what's that thing hiding in the clouds over there?" he asked innocently, getting everyone's attention. They turned towards where Caboose' gaze was directed and they were surprised.
Up ahead was a fog and something was slowly becoming visible and approaching the group's raft and none of them could make out what it is.
"Private Richards! Identify!" ordered Gunny as Dan looked through his sextant again to see whatever was coming out of the fog clearly "It looks like a ship sir! And it's headed our way!" he said and to confirm what he saw through the sextant it was indeed a ship as it slowly exited the fog.
"A ship!" exclaimed Eddy as everyone looked towards the now halfway visible ship "Alright! We're saved!" exclaimed Eddy jumping in joy while everyone let out a few cheers and sighs of relief.
"Finally… we can get out of this floating piece of wood and get somewhere more comfortable" said Cliff in relief.
The Eds and Rejects watched in awe as they finally got a good look at the ship.
"Whoa… it looks like it came out of some steampunk sci-fi movie or game" commented Eddy.
"Steampunk? Cool!" exclaimed Ed in excitement.
Gage then heard what sounded like laughing on the ship "Hey guys… I hear laughing on the ship" he said.
"Ooh~! Must be a party cruise!" Nate assumed "You think they'll have any nice lodgings for all of us?" he asked.
"Hopefully, they know a way for all of us to get back home" said Dan.
"I hope so" nodded Vern in agreement.

Suddenly, without warning, the ship fired a harpoon cable which latched onto a part of the raft shocking the whole group.
"AAH!" exclaimed Eddy in shock due to how the harpoon cable was just about inches next to him "Hey! What's the big idea huh?!" he shouted towards the ship.
In response, the ship fired three more harpoon cables and just like the first one, they latched onto the raft, shocking the Eds and Rejects even more.
"I have a bad feeling about this" said Dan nervously.
"Dan… we all have a bad feeling about this…" said Gunny.
"Agreed…" said Double D as he gulped nervously.
The ship neared the group as it sailed next to the raft while the boys looked up to see what looked like ratmen and what looked like imps which were devil-like creatures about the size of dwarves with red skin, yellow eyes and short horns and they along with the ratmen were dressed in pirate get up looming at them from somewhere at the starboard part of the deck.
Some of the boys gulped nervously upon seeing the ratmen and imps. The raft bumped into the side of the ship as said ship stopped. The boys then saw eight individuals show themselves as they loomed over them from the starboard deck a few inches from the ratmen. Those individuals were Bork the ogre, Retha the kangaroo, Walsh Norton the human, Merbius the Jiralhanae Brute, Axel, Gale Tidus the fishman, Beastly the Gazimon and Amunet Nader the Jackal beastkin.
"Hey~ look! Humans!" said Bork cheerfully.
"Hah! I get the nerdy one with glasses!" said Retha upon seeing Dan, making said Reject gulp upon hearing that.
Walsh just looked at the group blankly while Merbius just snorted. Axel just looked at the Eds and Rejects with an intrigued look, Gale looked at them and hummed in interest, Beastly spun his cutlass and pointed it at the boys as he chuckled in eagerness while Amunet looked at the boys with a raised eyebrow and hummed intrigued.
"Whoa…" uttered Tucker upon seeing how attractive looking Amunet was "You could say that again Tucker…" agreed Eddy upon seeing the Jackal beastkin's figure.
"Get ready to slice and dice boys…!" said Beastly twirling his cutlass eager to have some fun.
"Knock it off Beastly…" said Amunet slightly annoyed as she pushed Beastly back to the deck by his face.
"Hey!" exclaimed Beastly as he hit the floor with a *THUD!*, causing him to yelp.
"Wait for the captain's orders" said Gale with his arms crossed.
David narrowed his eyes at them when he heard a voice "Ahoy down there!" greeted the voice, causing David to turn towards the owner.
Up on one of the shrouds was Captain Roark hanging on to said shrouds "How~ lucky are you!" he called out as he proceeded to swing around the shrouds and even the broom of the sails "Y'know, these waters are infested with pirates… right boys?" asked Captain Roark towards his crew and they replied with "ARRRR!" as Captain Roark stopped at the mast "Glad, we found ya before we did" he said.
"Gee… ya think?" muttered Lenny with a blank look already seeing through this farse.
Captain Roark slid down the mast below his crew before swinging on another sail broom and landing near the edge of the starboard deck next to his crew allowing the Eds and Rejects to take a good look at him revealing that he was a walking talking chimpanzee.
"Captain Roark Lucius, here ta help!" said Captain Roark introducing himself while offering a hand with a friendly smile.
The Eds and Rejects looked at them a bit unsure "Y'know… that's a nice monkey" said Caboose.
Up on the deck, one of the imps started mimicking how a monkey acts, making some of the other imps and ratmen laugh and one of the other ratmen played along doing the same as the imp until…
*PCHOOM!* *PCHOOM!*
The imp and ratman stopped and slowly looked down and saw that they had a smoking laser wound on their chests shocking both of them and as well as the Eds and Rejects. The one responsible was Captain Roark who had one of his double barrel flintlock blasters pointed at the ones mocking him with the barrels smoking, all while his crew just watched what happened with indifferent expressions while those who were near the imp and ratman were just startled.
Captain Roark slowly moved his smoking pistol near him and nonchalantly blew off the smoke off his pistol while the imp and ratman slowly tipped forward and fell off the edge of the deck as they screamed and hit the water with a *SPLASH!*, this made the whole crew with the exception of the captain who just smirked burst out laughing hilariously as if seeing their fellow crewmates get killed was nothing but a joke and seeing this made the Eds and Rejects nervous and at the same time disturbed as some of them such as Double D and Dan slightly gulped in anxiety.
David snapped out of his stupor and mustered up all his courage before he spoke up "Look, we don't want any trouble, we just want to find a way back to our home dimension!" he told the chimpanzee captain.
"Your home dimension?" said the captain "Looks like we got ourselves some Realmlubbers boys" he told his crew making them laugh.
"Realmlubbers" are people who're unfamiliar with the concept or existence of other dimensions or travelling to other worlds or planets via spaceships. Another term for this is also known as Planetlubbers but the latter was the mostly used term.
"So… from which realm do you lot hail from?" asked Roark, deciding to let the Eds and Rejects humor them.
"We're from a planet known as Eartheon and-" spoke Double D but was interrupted.
"Eartheon? You mean that "play pen" created by those Celestial God quartet?" said Captain Roark in amusement as he and the rest of the Black Skull Pirates laughed even harder and even those in the ship that were unseen by the Eds and Rejects could be heard laughing as well.
The Eds and Rejects looked at each other "I'm starting to hate this guy already…" muttered Lenny with narrowed eyes "Yeah, me too" agreed Gage "We all do Gage… we all do…" muttered Gunny speaking for the rest of the Rejects and Eds with some of them nodding in agreement especially Eddy.
Double D then turned to the pirates "Listen, we have families back there and I'm sure they're worried about us" he said half lying with the whole family thing since the Rejects don't have much of a family back home "So if you could-" but then he was interrupted again.
"Aw~, your families? That is so… sweet" said Roark in feint kind sympathy "I hope you said goodbye… 'cause there's no. Way. Back…" he said giving off a sinister smile.
"Yes, there is!" blurted out Bork all of a sudden, making Roark groan as the chimpanzee captain glanced at the ogre doofus in annoyance with a frown.
"Yeah! You remember captain?" blabbered Bork as he held his chin in thought "Uh… all we have to do is use the Gate Engine in our ship and then set the coordinates for planet Eartheon via the Dimension Map at the helm and presto! A portal to Eartheon!" he blabbed "Still trapped this noggin is" he said conking the side of his head with his knuckles cheerfully.
"Ha ha! Thank you…" chuckled Roark before turning to the ogre "Mis-ter… Bork!" he said a bit angrily while stomping on Bork's foot.
"OW~!" exclaimed the ogre in surprise "Oh…" he uttered in realization of his mistake.
"Haha~! Alright! We got ourselves a way home boys!" exclaimed Gunny in excitement.
"THERE IS NO HOME!" shouted Roark angrily at the two groups as his voice echoed, startling the Eds and Rejects.
"He's scary…" said Caboose shaking slightly "I'm scared…" said Ed also shaking in fright.
Roark jumped and landed on the edge of the starboard deck where he stood while keeping his balance "There is only here…" he said as he walked to his right while not losing balance "And in here…" he trailed off as he stopped and turned to the Eds and Rejects "Your ship belongs to me…" he said with a sinister smile.

The Eds and Rejects widened their eyes and looked at each other in alarm.
"Battle station!" commanded Roark as his crew proceeded to bring out the starboard cannons as they lined them up. Retha brought out some weapons from her pouch and tossed them towards her crewmates who caught them and yelled out "ARRR!" with vicious looks getting ready for battle.
"Fly the colors!" commanded Roark as a crewmate raised up the Black Skull Pirates' Jolly Roger flag in all its glory.
"OH! MY! GOD~! PIRATES!" exclaimed Caboose upon seeing the jolly roger.
"PIRATES!" exclaimed Ed in alarm.
"Gee, ya think!" shouted Lenny and Eddy at the same time.
The chimpanzee captain climbed up one of the masts until he was high enough to be seen by the Eds and Rejects "Now surrender your ship… or face. My. Fury…" he warned.
"Or face your furry what?" said Nate.
"Not "fur-ry", "fu-ry"!" corrected Roark "Fire!" he commanded and one of the crew members took out a rocket bazooka and launched a rocket at the raft, forcing the Eds and Rejects to dodge as the rocket hit a part of the raft causing an explosion. Luckily, the Eds and Rejects were alright and miraculously, the only damage their raft got was a small chunk of it blown off and they were still afloat.
"Aah! That was close!" said Eddy in shock.
"Battle stations men! Prepare to retaliate!" exclaimed Gunny getting his colt pistol ready.
"How can we retaliate?! We only have four 2x4s and your little pistol Gunny!" shouted Tucker.
"No shit, Sherlock!" exclaimed Lenny exasperated.
Beastly grinned as he took out a number of 6 throwing knives "Hit the brown guy! Win a prize! Ha!" exclaimed the Gazimon hurling the knives at Gage.
"Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!" Beastly exclaimed as the knives hit their mark, luckily for Gage, he managed to block said knives with his 2x4 hitting it instead "Whoa… that was close…" he said in relief.
"Grrr… dagnabit!" exclaimed Gunny in frustration as he tossed his pistol towards David who caught it "David! Keep 'em distracted while ah cut the ropes!" he said as he pulled out a bowie knife from his pocket and ran to cut the ropes.
"You got it…" said David with a nod as he twirled Gunny's colt pistol and open fired at a couple of pirates who boarded their raft.
"Fire the starboard cannon!" commanded Roark as Merbius and Retha loaded the cannons.
"I love! This! Job!" said Retha kick-loading the cannons with each word.
"Amunet, fetch! Gale, get 'em!" commanded Roark pointing towards Gunny who was cutting the cables before pointing towards Gage, Nate, Tucker and Vern who were swinging their 2x4s at some incoming pirates while protecting the Eds, although the first of the four were doing better than the rest "Aye, aye captain!" nodded the female Jackal beastkin as she jumped towards the raft "With pleasure sir" said the fishman with a smirk as he followed Amunet.
With Gunny, he managed to cut off the first two cables with one swing each before cutting the third one. He ran for the last cable but when he was just inches away from it, Amunet landed on the raft and put her foot on the cable stopping Gunny in his tracks "Aw~, you almost made it" cooed Amunet mockingly.
"Sorry ma'am, but ah don't fight girls" said Gunny with narrowed eyes. Amunet in return smirked as she made her foot pull the cable and slingshot it towards Gunny hitting the hand that held his knife disarming him.
"Gah! What in Sam Hill!?" yelped Gunny holding his hand before Amunet flying kicked him to the floor "OOF!" Gunny exclaimed upon hitting the floor on his back as the female Jackal Beastkin stepped on his chest pinning him "Eheh… I can see why…" said Amunet with a sly grin.
With Dan, he was dodging lasers and sword swings when he ran into Retha "Ello there, mate! You lost?" greeted the sentient kangaroo pointing one of her Blunderblasters at the nerd Reject.
"Yipe!" yelped Dan in surprise. This left him wide open, allowing Retha to kangaroo kick him on the belly sending him flying backwards screaming and crash into Caboose.
"Ow…" said Caboose as he and Dan were in a pile heap with the former on top of the latter "Caboose… you're so heavy…" quipped Dan before his sights were met with Retha's blunderblaster barrel "Gulp! Abuh-buh-buh-buh- I surrender!" exclaimed Dan raising his hands in fear making Retha smirk.
With Gage, Nate, Vern and Tucker, they continued to fight off some pirates while protecting the Eds when all of a sudden, Gale appeared in front of them, glaive in hand.
"Hello boys…" he greeted with a sharp toothy smile.
"Oh? You wanna rumble with us next fish lips? Bring it on!" declared Tucker with his 2x4 at the ready, Nate, Gage and Vern doing the same.
"Heh…" smirked Gale twirling his glaive as Tucker was the first to charge in, followed by Vern, Nate and Gage.
Tucker did a warcry while attempting to do an overhead strike with his 2x4, only for Gale to smack him on the side "Gah! Son of a bitch!" swore Tucker as he was sent to the ground. Next came Vern who attempted to jab the fishman with his 2x4 only for him to sidestep and karate chop him on the side of his head knocking him down next. Next came Nate who was doing a warcry of his own, only it sounded girlish as he attempted to do a side swing from his right, only for Gale to casually block it with his glaive and he didn't even flinch.
"Uh oh…" said Nate sweating nervously. Gale chuckled before giving the Reject a knee to the stomach, causing him to fall on his knees holding his stomach as he groaned in pain. The fishman pirate then kicked him forcing him to lie on his back "Tough luck pinkie" mocked Gale "It's… not… pink…" uttered Nate struggling to raise his right arm as he pointed at Gale "It's… lightish… red…" he said before losing consciousness "Heh… there's already a color for that, you want to know what it is? Oh yeah… pink!" said Gale not caring that the gullible reject lost consciousness.
Without even turning back, Gale blocked an overhead strike with his glaive and turned to see Gage with his 2x4 in hand, Gale smirked as they clashed weapons. Both of them were good but Gale got the upper hand "I have to say… I'm impressed that you're able to last this long against me unlike your companions…" he told Gage as they locked weapons.
"Hmph! You haven't seen nothin yet!" said Gage as he and Gale continued to clash weapons until Gale pushed him back and did a low sweep causing him to fall on the floor and lose his grip on his 2x4.
Gage groaned and he lifted his head up only to meet the tip of Gale's glaive "I win…" said Gale with a grin. Gage glared as he grabbed the glaive and to the fishman's surprise, the brown reject yanked it off of him with such strength, Gage then stood up and swung Gale's glaive at him only for the fishman pirate to dodge and gave a hard kick to the chest sending Gage flying and onto the edge of the raft. Gage groaned before he felt a foot stomp on his chest "OOF!" he exclaimed as he was faced with Gale pointing his flintlock blaster at him this time "Your move…" the fishman pirate challenged.
This time Gage raised his hands up in surrender making Gale smirk.
A couple of minutes before Gage fought Gale…
As Tucker, Vern and Nate charged in, Gage turned to the Eds "You three, get out of here!" he told them.
"O-okay, you got it!" said Eddy as he and Ed ran "B-but what about you?!" said Double D in alarm "Just go! I'll handle this!" said Gage not wanting to argue.
"C'mon Double D! You heard him!" said Eddy pulling Double D with them with the sock-hat wearing Ed following his other friends.
Unfortunately, they didn't go far as they were met with Merbius who landed in front of them.
"AAH! What the hell?!" exclaimed Eddy in shock "IT'S A BRUTE FROM HALO!" exclaimed Ed recognizing Merbius' alien nickname species.
"I'll take that as a compliment…" said the Jiralhanae, taking out his gravity hammer "So… whatcha gonna do boys?" he asked tapping the shaft of his hammer against his hand threateningly.
The Eds immediately screamed in fright and started hugging each other in fear "P-p-please… don't hurt us!" said Double D shaking making the brute smirk.
"AAAAAHHH!" screamed Cliff who he was trying to get away from Bork.
"Bellyflop~!" exclaimed the ogre cheerfully as he jumped at Cliff and landed on him with his big chubby stomach as he bounced on the orange reject two times before pinning him to the floor.
"Ow! Ow! Oof!" exclaimed Cliff on each bounce "Dang it…" he uttered out.
"Cliff!" exclaimed the McMillan brothers who were the only ones standing. David turned to his left and gasped before he managed to catch a flying knife in time before it hit Lenny "Whoa… thanks David…" said Lenny "No problem" nodded David in reply.
The two brothers turned to see the culprit who was revealed to be Walsh Norton as the pirate assassin pointed one of his knives at the McMillan siblings.
David narrowed his eyes as he held up Gunny's pistol in a ready stance while Lenny looked around for something and saw the discarded 2x4 plank that Gage dropped and took it and held it towards Walsh and the two brothers proceeded to fight him.
Up at the deck of the Ocean's Rift, Captain Roark aimed one of the starboard cannons at the McMillan siblings while they were occupied with Walsh "Lights out boys…" said the chimp with a grin as he prepared to fire.
Walsh took notice and jumped out of the way, confusing the brothers.
"Huh?" said Lenny as he and David looked up to see the cannon aimed at them. "Uh oh…" said David "Aw… son of a-" said Lenny but before he could finish…
*BOOM!*
The cannon fired and hit the part of the raft close to the brothers as the force of the explosion sent them flying and landed on the floor with a hard *THUD!*.
The brothers started to lose consciousness and the only thing they could hear was the sound of the rest of their friends calling out to them and the last thing they saw before their world turned black was the Black Skull Pirates slowly walking towards them with grins on their faces while hearing the sound of Captain Roark's laughter.
"Oh dear! It seems that the Eds and Rejects have encountered the infamous Black Skull Pirates and now they've become their prisoners, what-ever shall they do?" said the voice of Nexus Lupin.
He then let out a chuckle "I guess we'll have to find out next chapter…" he said "Better prepare yourselves… because the next chapters gonna be filled with surprises you won't expect!" he said mischievously.
"Auf Wiedersehen~!"

That's all for the new chapter. The Eds end up in an icy ocean where they meet up with the Rejects. Unfortunately, they ended up encountering the Black Skull Pirates and now they've been captured!
The Eds and Rejects have met and bonded and it seems Eddy has gotten along quite well with Tucker despite only meeting him now and Ed made himself a new friend (Caboose).
Look forward for the next chapter, because on the next chapter… things… are gonna get interesting.
