'I hate your cooking!'
'Oh yeah? Well I hate your tea!'
'I hate your coffee!'
'I hate you, and everything you stand for!'
OPS.
'Geez! What do you suppose provoked all that?' Nell asked.
'I don't know! I just heard what I heard from the gym. I wasn't about to interrupt them, are you kidding?!' Eric replied.
'Well, I think we should do something. Knowing both of them, they're much too stubborn to consider that they were wrong to fight like that.'
'Yup, you're right. So, what do we do?'
Hetty's office, evening.
'Ugh, you! What are you doing here?!' Hetty asked in disgust.
'Text from the meerkats. I'm judging you got the same since you're looking at your phone?' Granger replied.
'I did. It appears we've been set up. Think 1 of them heard our fight?'
'Don't they know better then to butt into our lives like this?'
'Or they're trying to tell us something.' Hetty pointed out. 'Like maybe, we're both being stupid? We were both in bad moods this morning because we were a bit sleep deprived, and some words were said. Should we let it ruin what we have?'
Silence.
Deep sigh. 'I really hate it when you're right like this.' Granger conceded.
They settled their differences over Scotch.
