Chapter 13 – Shadow Fist Guild Birthday Bash Part 2

A few minutes before Sella contacted Rhys…

We return to Edolas where we see Shadow Fist Guildmaster Jake Sobek and Guildmember Rhys Remington sneaking inside some kind of run-down farm shack in the middle of nowhere.

"Okay… how in the world can there be an old farm shack in the middle of the desert?" said Rhys quietly while flabbergasted at the fact of finding a shack in the middle of the desert.

"Beats me…" said Jake shrugging his shoulders while the two slowly walked inside the shack trying not to make noise "This was probably a well working farm before all the magic was soaked dry in this world so it had to be abandoned" he deduced.

"Probably…" said Rhys.

The two continued to walk around the shack until they spotted a door that said "Evil Lab" on it.

Rhys gave off a deadpan look "Seriously? How stupid is this guy? First, he made it easy for us to find his hidden base of operations… with no security mind you… and now he made it easy for us to spot the entrance to his lab?!" he said in disbelief.

Earlier, when Jake and Rhys stumbled upon the shack, they found a sign that said "Hidden Evil Base" with an arrow pointed towards the shack and casually got inside without even being detected and that's where we find ourselves right now.

"Meh… doesn't matter right now, all that matters is that our target's right here" said Jake with a shrug as he casually opened the door and unsurprisingly, there was no alarm or traps as the Shadow Fist Guildmaster and Guildmember slowly walked down the steps that led to their target's secret lab.

Jake and Rhys later arrived at what looked like a basement of sorts and it was filled with a lot of equipment a typical mad scientist would have from big glass tanks to beaker racks and it even had some other strange bizarre and wacky equipment a mad scientist would use for their experiments such as lasers, robot claws, etc.

"Yeesh… talk about weird taste…" commented Rhys with a frown.

"Well, our target IS a mad scientist, so it's a no brainer that he'd have all of this junk in here" said Jake while they walked through the room when all of a sudden, they heard a voice.

"It's not junk! It's… SCIENCE!" exclaimed the voice.

This caused Jake and Rhys to whip out their Colt Diamondback revolver and NeoDiendriver respectfully and pointed them towards the direction of whoever spoke out.

Coming out of the shadows was an old man with over-the-top messy white hair, bushy eyebrows and bushy mustache, skinny build and gray eyes. He wears a white labcoat, a pair of black rubber gloves, a pair of brown pants, black boots, a pair of goggles on top of his head and he had some kind of backpack strapped to his back. All in all, he looked like a typical mad scientist.

"So… you must be the mad scientist we've been looking for…?" said Jake raising an eyebrow at their target. From the guildmaster's point of view, this person didn't look like much of a threat which confused him why a guy such as him had such a large bounty on his head, although, appearances could be deceiving.

"Indeed~!" said the mad scientist as he raised up one hand upwards while he turned his head upwards facing said hand "For it is I…! Doctor Zoh Redigulozo~…! The soon to be genius scientist of the multiverse!" said the now identified Dr. Redigulozo before pointing his hand forward towards the two "And YOU shall bow down before my GE~NIUS~!" he declared dramatically.

"..." There was silence between the three before Jake and Rhys glanced at each other with their weapons still aimed at the mad scientist before they both chuckled until it was turned to full-blown laughter.

This made Dr. Redigulozo frown in annoyance "And what do you think is so FUN-NYYYYYYYY?!" he questioned.

"He-he-he… oh it's nothing…" replied Jake giving the mad scientist a grin "It's just that you have the most hilarious name I've ever heard!" he said "Yeah, what kind of name is that? It sounds kinda… "ridiculous" if you ask me!" added Rhys before he and Jake started to laugh harder.

"Grrrr…" growled Dr. Redigulozo "YOU SHALL NOT MOCK ME! I AM THE MULTIVERSE'S FUTURE GENIUS!" he declared.

"Ha-ha-ha! Genius my ass!" said Rhys "What kind of genius would leave literal signs that would point out their hidden lair?" he mocked.

"I do that to lure~ my victims…!" said the mad scientist "So that they can bask~ in the sight of my glorious~ geniusness and BOW. DOWN. BEFORE MEEEEEEE!" he declared with his arms raised upwards, only causing the two to laugh even harder, infuriating him more.

"Ha-ha-ha! Guess that makes you an even bigger idiot!" said Jake as he pointed his gun towards Dr. Redigulozo "Purposely luring in victims is like asking for a death wish!" he said.

"Yeah… not only did you lure in victims… but you also lured in bounty hunters and mercenaries who'd be after your head as well!" said Rhys pointing his NeoDiendriver at the mad scientist.

This made Dr. Redigulozo sputter out speechless with his face turning red before immediately composing himself "Ha! Even so, I've killed every bounty hunter and mercenary that I've ever lured in here!" he declared arrogantly with his chest puffed up.

"Oh really?" said Jake narrowing his reptilian eyes "How many bounty hunters and mercs have you lured and killed?" he challenged.

"Two…" responded Dr. Redigulozo quite ominously raising an eyebrow from the Shadow Fist guild master and member.

"Oh really? Where's your proof?" challenged Rhys still pointing his weapon at him.

"My proof…" trailed off Dr. Redigulozo before suddenly pulling out a pair of joysticks that were attached to his backpack and pressed them, causing a pair of back mounted cannons to appear and point towards the two "IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!" he exclaimed with a manic grin.

"Huh?" said Jake and Rhys in confusion when the cannons shapeshifted until they became ridiculously enormous as they hummed to life ready to fire.

"HUUUUUUUHHH!?" exclaimed the two with wide bulging eyes.

The mad scientist chuckled maniacally before pulling the trigger of his joysticks before the cannons fired two powerful laser beams resulting in a powerful resounding…

*BOOOOOOOOMMMMM!*

Moments prior…

Outside the shack, everything was quiet and peaceful…

*BOOOOOOOOMMMMM!*

That was until the shack exploded to bits sending debris everywhere as a certain duo was seen flying out of said explosion before landing on the ground with a loud *THUD!*.

Jake and Rhys groaned as they sat up looking all roughed up but okay none the less.

"Man… that was a close one…" said Rhys "Glad I managed to act quickly…" he said.

~Flashback~

Dr. Zoh Redigulozo laughed maniacally before firing two large laser beams from his cannons that headed straight for Jake and Rhys.

But at the last second, Rhys quickly took out what looked like a card and inserted it on the slot on the side of his NeoDiendriver and pushed the bottom part of the weapon forward extending the barrel.

ATTACK RIDE: BARRIER!

Rhys pointed his driver forward and pulled the trigger creating a blue barrier around him and Jake just in time as the two beams hit the barrier attempting to break through, all the while Dr. Redigulozo continued to laugh like crazy.

The whole room was then engulfed in a bright light until everything turned white followed by...

*BOOOOOOOOMMMMM!*

~End Flashback~

"We would've been toast if I hadn't summoned that barrier in front of us" said Rhys.

"You're telling me…" said Jake as he and Rhys stood up and dusted themselves of any dirt on them.

"You think he's toast master?" asked Rhys glancing at the smoking remains of the shack.

"Highly doubtful" said Jake "If he's able to survive escaping several police organizations for so long with ridiculous stuff like that, there's a high chance he'd survive getting blown up in the face up close" he said.

"Indeed… you're right…" said a serious, yet familiar voice as Jake and Rhys turned to the shack's smoking remains.

Coming out of the smoke was Dr. Redigulozo with a serious look on his eyes and he was surrounded by a floating energy bubble.

"Nobody could defeat me… DR. REDI-GULO-ZO~!" he said turning from serious to crazed "For I~ am a GE~NIEUS~!" he declared before cackling like crazy while facing towards the heavens.

"I swear… this guy's absolutely either bipolar or just crazy…" said Rhys.

"He's probably both" said Jake matter-a-factly.

Dr. Redigulozo stopped cackling before setting his sights on the two with a serious face before deactivating his energy bubble, only resulting in plopping to the ground.

"OOF!" he exclaimed upon hitting the ground on his butt "I meant to do that!" he said dusting himself.

Jake and Rhys turned to each other and shrugged before their attention returned to the mad scientist who started to speak "Now then…" he said "It is tiiiime I destr~oy~ you~!" he declared pointing his gloved finger at them with a crazed look.

"Oh really?" said Jake as he and Rhys raised their revolver and NeoDiendriver respectively at the mad doctor "And how're ya gonna do that since we're the guys with the guns?" he questioned.

Dr. Redigulozo just chuckled before taking out what looked like a can with a picture of a squid on it and it had a label that said "Canned Squid".

"Hmm?" said Jake and Rhys raising an eyebrow upon seeing that.

The mad scientist put his goggles over his eyes before lifting up the pin of the can and pulled off the lid before tossing it to the ground.

"Huh?" said the two looking at the can confused before something huge emerged out of it. It was a giant white squid with glowing red eyes.

"HUUUUUUHHHH!?" exclaimed the two with wide eyes of shock.

"WHAT THE HECK?! A GIANT SQUID?!" exclaimed Jake in shock.

"Huh… wha… I…" stuttered Rhys just completely baffled at the sight.

"Hehehehe~ impressive, isn't it?" boasted Dr. Redigulozo before turning to the readers "Just take one can of Dr. Zoh Redigulozo's "Canned Squid"…" he said while showing another can of said product in one of his hands as if he was advertising to sell it "And you'll be able to summon a giant squid, ready to rampage! WAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!" he cackled maniacally.

"THAT IS RIDICULOUSLY IMPOSSIBLE AND STUPID!" shouted Jake and Rhys in disbelief.

The mad scientist turned to the both of them with a mad glare behind his goggles "I'll show you "stupid" ya fools! ATTA~CK!" he commanded with a shout while pointing forward as the giant squid roared at the duo and moved forward using its' arms and proceeded to swing its' arms and tentacles at them.

"Whoa!" exclaimed Jake and Rhys as they open fired at the squid using their revolver and NeoDiendriver respectively, sending a barrage of bullets and blue lasers at the giant squid while maneuvering around evading the squid's attacks.

The bullets didn't seem to faze the squid but the lasers on the other hand annoyed it as it roared and swung its' tentacles at them.

"Hahahaha! It's futile~!" said the mad scientist "You can't defeat my giant squid! It is~ UN~STOPPABLE~!" he declared before laughing maniacally.

"We'll see about that bucko!" said Jake as he continued to open fire with his revolver before pulling out a Sawed-off Double Barrel 12 Gauge Coach Gun from the left side of the back of his belt as he fired a couple of slugs at the squid but this only annoyed it even more as it roared and swung one of its' tentacles at him.

"Whoa!" exclaimed Jake managing to dodge the attack by rolling out of the way "Ha! Ya think ya can smack me around with those things ya big ol' squid!?" he taunted.

The two continued to open fire at the squid with mostly Rhys' lasers dealing damage albeit minor, agitating the squid even more as it let out another roar.

"Huh… looks like we just made it even angrier" commented Jake.

"Gee, ya think?" said Rhys with a deadpan tone when all of a sudden, his advanced wrist watch started ringing.

"Huh?" said Rhys looking towards his watch and saw that it was a call from Sella, one of the Shadow Fist Guild's receptionists "What's Sella calling for?" he muttered.

"Hey Rhys!" called out Jake glancing towards the treasure sniper "Whatcha lookin at your watch for- OOF!" he said when all of a sudden, he was smacked by the squid's tentacle "Dang it I let mah guard down!" groaned Jake before tumbling to the ground.

Rhys on the other hand managed to dodge at the last second without even looking before getting to a safe distance and answered the call as a holo-screen appeared in front of him showing Rosella "Sella" Viridian on the screen.

"Yeah-lo!" greeted Rhys.

"Hello Rhys, it's Sella" greeted the receptionist "How are you and the master doing?" she asked.

"We're doing fine…" answered Rhys quickly while glancing to the side seeing Jake firing his guns at some of the squid's arms that attempted to grab him before reloading while ducking a swing from one of its' arms.

"I hope you're still in the middle of the job because we're still in the middle of preparing here" Sella told Rhys with a smile.

"Yeah… about that…" trailed of Rhys scratching his cheek with his finger.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" asked Sella now a bit concerned.

"Well, you see…" He trailed off before the sound of gunfire was heard and Rhys glanced to see that the squid managed to grab Jake with one of its' tentacles restraining him but leaving one of his arms free with said free arm holding his shotgun.

"Oy! Tell this thing ta put me down ya little coo coo science nut! I oughta blast ya ta smithereens! Ya hear!?" he yelled at Dr. Redigulozo making the mad scientist let out a maniacal laugh.

"In your dreams crocodile boy! WAAHA! WAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!" he said while continuing to laugh.

"Let's just say that this job's gonna take a while… and it'll probably give you enough time to finish preparations" said Rhys before he heard Jake call out to him.

"Hey Rhys! A little help here will ya!" he yelled.

"You're doin fine master!" called out Rhys glancing away from Sella on the screen watching his master get flailed around.

"KISS MAH CROCODILE ASS! OOF!" yelled Jake annoyed before the squid slammed him to the ground making Rhys along with Sella who heard it flinch.

Rhys then turned back to the holo-screen "I'll call you back" he said "I'll let you know when we've wrapped up this job" he said before his eyes widened when he felt something grab him from below before looking down only to see that the squid's other tentacle grabbed him by his legs "Uh Oh…" he said before the squid quickly pulled him up in the air and swung him around as he screamed while his communication with Sella was forcibly cut-off.

"WAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You see~? My inventions are BEYOND COMPARE! I. AM. IN-VIN-SIBLLLLLLLE!" declared Dr. Redigulozo while cackling madly.

"Okay… I think… that's just… about enough… messing around…" said Rhys in between getting swung around by the squid "Wouldn't you… agree… master?" he said turning to Jake who strangely became quiet and calm all of a sudden despite his predicament.

"Heh… well it's about time Slick" said Jake with a toothy smirk.

"Huh?" said Dr. Redigulozo ceasing his cackling in confusion.

Suddenly, Jake started to glow a white aura causing the mad scientist to widen his eyes in shock upon seeing that.

"Wha?!" he said as Jake glowed brighter and with a great yell, he unleashed a burst of energy creating a shockwave in the process, forcing the squid to release both him and Rhys as the former executed a midair 360 kick at the squid sending it towards its' master who dove out of the way before he got crushed while Jake and Rhys landed safely on the ground.

Dr. Redigulozo looked on with a shocked and astonished look behind his goggles "What…! How…? How did you do that?!" he said baffled.

"Heh… well that's what you get for underestimating your opponents, bucko" said Jake with a cocky smirk as his aura dissipated.

"You're not just dealing with any run-in-the-mill bounty hunters…" trailed off Rhys spinning his NeoDiendriver "You're dealing… with Celestial Champions" he revealed shocking Dr. Redigulozo as the mad scientist let out a loud exaggerated gasp.

"C-C-C-CELESTIAL CHAMPIONS!?" exclaimed the mad scientist revealing to know about them "The both of you?!" he said in shock.

"That's right" confirmed Jake with a nod "I'm Jake Sobek, otherwise known as Hunter Sobek, chosen champion of the celestial goddess of war" he said introducing himself.

"And I'm Rhys Remington the Treasure Sniper, celestial champion chosen by the celestial goddess of fortune…" said Rhys introducing himself "But I also go by another name…" he trailed off while taking out a card with a picture of a blue armored warrior's face before inserting it into the side of his NeoDiendriver making a beeping sound confirming its' insertion before extending the barrel revealing the back side of the card which has a white barcode-like mask sigil on it.

KAMEN RIDE:

Announced the driver as a hologram of a black bar with the words "Kamen Ride" all in red capital letters with a black and red ring on the background appeared while the driver let out a whining sound before the hologram disappeared and was replaced by a white hologram of the same sigil on the card.

Dr. Redigulozo looked on as Rhys raised up his driver pointing it upwards before yelling out "Henshin!" and pulled the trigger.

DI-END!

Upon firing, a blue hologram of a circle with the same barcode-like mask sigil appeared in front of him before it went to Rhys as several assorted colored holograms of an armored figure moved around him while above him, a red hologram of the same sigil appeared before turning into a row of blue card-like bars. The holograms converged into him as it formed black and gray armor before the blue cards attached themselves on Rhys' helmet on the face area turning the gray part of his armor into blue with some yellow parts completing the transformation.

Rhys was now clad in a black and blue suit with hints of white with a black upper torso armor with white armor parts with yellow in the middle located in between his shoulders and upper torso and black shoulder armor with it along with the upper torso armor resembling some kind of barcode, black, blue and yellow thigh armor, black and yellow striped knee pads, black, blue and yellow greaves, black boots, a silver belt with a black and silver framed buckle with the same barcode-like mask sigil on the middle in blue, a black card holder on the left side, black upper arm armor, black bulky looking armor located below his elbows, yellow wrist bands, black armored gloves, silver collar armor around his neck and finally, a black and blue helmet with a silver mouthguard with a black line at the center, blue bug-eyed visors with black and blue card-like bars over the visor making it look like grills and a silver center in between the visor at the forehead area of the helmet and in between at the first card-like parts covering the visor are red lines making them resemble antennas.

Dr. Redigulozo looked on in shock upon seeing Rhys' transformation as the treasure sniper spun his NeoDiendriver "I'm also known as… Kamen Rider… Diend…" he said introducing his alter ego.

"W-W-WHAT?! A K-K-K-KAMEN RIDER!?" exclaimed the mad scientist comically holding his head in shock while taking a couple of steps back.

"Ee~yep!" said Jake with a cocky smirk "You're in for it now bucko, 'cause the kiddie gloves are coming off now!" he declared cracking his knuckles before his hands began to glow with white aura-like energy.

Dr. Redigulozo stuttered for a few seconds before recomposing himself "S-S-So what if you are celestial champions?!" he said defiantly "I can just do this!" he said while he pulling out some kind of retro style raygun and fired a beam at the squid surprising the two celestial champions.

"What the?!" they exclaimed while they watched the squid's body change from a color white to a bright red color and its' red eyes became even more menacing and finally, the tips of its' tentacles gained pincers. All in all, the giant squid just became even more scary and intimidating but most of all monstrous.

"HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA! BEHOOOOOOLD!" said Dr. Redigulozoh gesturing with his hand which still held the retro raygun "MY SUPER SQUID!" he declared "With the help of my Multi-Raygun, my giant squid has become even MORE POWERFUL! Enough to crush and devour you all! AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!" cackled the mad scientist.

The two celestial champions looked at the monstrous squid for a few moments before looking at each other for a few seconds before they bowed their heads.

Just when the mad scientist thought that they were on the verge of giving up, he heard the two chuckling before it became full-blown laughter.

This confused and infuriated the mad scientist "And what are the two of you finding so FUNNY?!" he demanded.

"Oh nothing…" said Diend "It's just that a vicious looking giant squid like this…" he trailed off.

"…Is nothing but child's play!" he and Jake finished in unison.

"WHAAAAT?!" exclaimed Dr. Redigulozo taken aback.

"Ya wanna know why they call me "Hunter" Sobek?" asked Jake with a sly grin and his eyes shadowed. Without waiting for an answer, Jake suddenly leaped upwards moving at high speed while leaving a small crater in its' wake as his right fist was glowing with white aura-like energy and sent a hard punch to the squid causing it to fall backwards shocking the mad scientist "It's because I'm a bigtime GIANT MONSTER HUNTER!" revealed the crocodile guildmaster as he landed back on the ground while the squid hit the ground with a loud resounding *BOOM!*.

(Insert Kamen Rider Decade – Treasure Sniper)

"N-N-No way! What is that power?!" said Dr. Redigulozo in disbelief.

"Master Sobek has the ability to channel Ki Energy from his body, allowing him to enhance his strength, durability and speed" explained Diend "He can also harness it allowing him to turn them into energy projectiles and he can even create energy constructs" he added.

And to prove his point, Jake wreathed his fist with white ki energy and sent a powerful laser beam at the super squid making it roar in pain before it fell back to the ground just when it was recovering.

The mad scientist just looked on with his jaws dropped as he started to sweat bullets.

"Heh… not so tough now are ya? Ya old geezer" taunted Jake holding up a ki powered fist while Diend pointed his NeoDiendriver at the mad scientist.

"Abababababababa…" blabbered Dr. Redigulozo before comically shaking his head snapping out of his funk "BAH! So, what of it?! Even if you have all these fancy powers and equipment, I CAN STILL BEAT YOU TWO!" he declared defiantly "Super Squid, ATTACK!" he called out to the enhanced giant squid who managed to get back up as it started snapping its' pincers dangerously.

The two champions just looked at the squid with blank stares.

"Okay, I take back what I said earlier…" said Diend "This guy's either bipolar, crazy, stubbornly in denial or arrogant or just plain stupid" he said.

"Likely all of the above" quipped Jake as he cracked his knuckles "I'll take care of squidy here, you take care of Dr. Coo-coo" he said before he jumped up high charging towards the super squid engaging it "mano a mano" or in this case… "crocodile-o a calamari-o" (Pfffttt!).

"Heh… I'm on it master" said Diend twirling his NeoDiendriver ready to fight the mad scientist.

"You think you can beat me just because you're a kamen rider?!" said Dr. Redigulozo as he pressed a few buttons on the straps of his backpack before summoning a pair of ridiculously oversized metal robotic gauntlets that attached themselves to his forearms but stayed connected to his backpack "I can still fight you with my great inventions!" he declared.

Diend merely smirked behind his mask before charging towards Dr. Redigulozo with incredible speed.

"WHAT?!" exclaimed Dr. Redigulozo taken off-guard by this before quickly charging up his robot gauntlet as it made a humming sound before sending a right hook at Diend just when he was inches from him.

Diend smirked as he dodged the punch in just a split-second much to the mad scientist's shock before the blue rider sent a punch of his own causing him to stagger while Diend went past him.

Diend skidded to a halt before turning around and ran back to Dr. Redigulozo and went passed him while leaving another punch before repeating the process over and over giving the mad scientist no time to retaliate.

"Grrr! You think you're so tough just because you're fast?!" said the mad scientist peeved "EAT MISSILES INSECT!" he said while multiple missile launchers popped out of his backpack. Just when Diend stopped in his tracks, he turned just in time to see the launchers.

"Fire!" said Dr. Redigulozo before launching a volley of missiles at Diend.

Diend just scoffed with a smirk behind his mask as he opened his card holder on the left side of his belt and pulled out a card and inserted it on his NeoDiendriver. Upon extending it another hologram of a black bar, this time with the words "Attack Ride" all in red capital letters with the same black and red ring on the background appeared before the hologram was replaced by a the Diend sigil hologram but red with the word "Diend Blast" on it.

ATTACK RIDE: BLAST!

Announced the driver as Diend pointed his weapon forward and pulled the trigger and multiple-colored holograms of his driver appeared moving upwards and downwards rapidly as they unleashed multiple curving lasers at the missiles destroying them in an instant while creating a fiery explosion followed by a shockwave.

"What?!" exclaimed Dr. Redigulozo in shock raising his gauntlet clad hands up preventing the winds of the shockwave from getting into his face.

Suddenly, from out of the explosion came Diend as he leaped into action and sent a punch to the mad scientist causing him to roll over a couple feet from him.

Dr. Redigulozo immediately got up infuriated "Why you~!" he said before charging towards Diend as the two clashed fists.

Meanwhile from a safe distance, we see the mysterious phantom thief Nexus Lupin seated on a lawn chair watching the whole battle while eating some popcorn and strangely, he's able to eat through his mask. How does he do that? Magic of course.

"Ooh~! This battle's gotten even more interesting!" said Nexus with a grin behind his mask as he continued to eat his popcorn while watching Jake throw down with the giant squid. He then took notice of the readers and turned to them "What? I'm bored and thought I'd find something fun to do" he said in a matter a fact tone "You got a problem with me making a small cameo in this chapter?" he frowned "How about pretending you didn't see me and return to the battle then" he said putting up a finger in front of his mask as if to stay quiet as we return to the battle.

The mad scientist and Shadow Fist Guild Kamen Rider continued to exchange blows and neither of them were letting up.

"You think you can defeat me?! Zoh Redigulozo in a fist fight?!" said the mad scientist as his punches kept getting blocked by Diend's own punches "I don't "think", I "know" I can beat you" said the treasure sniper confidently with a smirk.

"Why you-!" said the mad scientist throwing a powered-up punch at Diend who blocked it by crossing his arms but resulted in him getting pushed back as he skidded a couple of feet away from the scientist.

"You cannot defeat me! For I am Zoh Redigulozo! The future genius scientist of the multiverse!" he declared zealously.

"Hmph… genius you say?" said Diend as he opened his card holder and took out two cards "Then how do ya like this?" he said as he inserted the cards in his driver.

KAMEN RIDE: BUILD! DUKE!

Diend pointed his driver forward and pulled the trigger launching a big blue energy orb which dispersed into a number of holograms that moved everywhere.

The holograms then converged together into two different armored figures appearing in front of Diend.

The first figure was clad in a black bodysuit under red and blue armor with the upper armor being red on the right side and blue on the left side with a blue tank barrel with a red rabbit ear on top on the left side front of the shoulder blade, the lower armor being red on the left side with a spring on the lower leg and blue on the right side with the boot having tank tread patterns on it and a red and blue helmet with the left side being red with the eye visor shaped like the left side of a rabbit and the right side being blue with the eye visor being shaped like the front portion of a tank with it pointed upwards in a slanted position and finally strapped to the figure's waist is a Build Driver with two bottles inserted into it with a red bottle on the right side and a blue bottle on the left side and strapped on the left side of the belt is a black holder of sorts that can carry Fullbottles, about three of them.

And the second armored figure was clad in a black and blue bodysuit with the arms and legs being blue, silver and black patterned bracers and elbow armor, blue gloves with silver top palm armor, silver and black patterned thigh armor, knee armor and greaves, blue armored boots, yellow and silver accented torso armor with an emblem of a crown of sorts on the left pectoral area, a yellow and silver accented shoulder pauldron in the shape of a lemon on the right shoulder, a white and black patterned cape with a yellow interior and a yellow, blue and silver helmet with lemons on either side of the helmet, a blue and black accented crown with red jewels on top of the helmet, silver mouthguard with curved patterns and a black chin and silver and black accented mask in the shape of grills with a red jewel on the forehead area and a yellow visor and strapped on the waist is a red and silver buckle-like device resembling a juicer of sorts with a transparent looking lock that's currently open revealing the insides of a lemon. All in all, this armored figure resembled a knight.

"W-W-What?!" exclaimed Dr. Redigulozo taken aback by the appearance of these two armored figures.

"Doctor… meet Kamen Rider Build and Kamen Rider Duke" Diend introduced "The users of these riders are scientists themselves and they're more of geniuses unlike you" he added mockingly.

This infuriated Dr. Redigulozo as he gnashed his teeth in anger "HOW DAAAARE YOU! I WILL OBLITERATE YOU ALL TO NOTHING!" he declared, his bulky gauntlets powering up with electricity.

Diend just smirked behind his mask as he along with his summoned riders got themselves ready "We'll see about that…" he said spinning his NeoDiendriver.

"Saa, jikken o hajimeyou ka?" said Build taking out the Drill Crusher.

Duke just "Hmphed" as he took out what looked like a futuristic bladed bow with a red body with hits of black and a little silver, blue blades at the curved parts, a blue arrow tip on the middle, a blue string with a black grip-like notch that allows the bow to draw an arrow and a slot on the side. This is the Sonic Arrow.

The three riders and mad scientist charged at each other and clashed once more.

With Jake, he was continuing to go toe to toe with the Super Squid as he kept dodging said squid's arms and tentacles while he was wreathed with white ki energy enhancing his speed and reaction time.

"Ha! Even with that extra boost of yours, yer still not fast enough ta catch me squid lips!" said Jake as the squid roared in annoyance.

"What's the matter? Can't catch a little bug like me?" he taunted as the squid lunged one of its' pincers at the crocodile cowboy.

"Whoa!" exclaimed Jake as he managed to jump out of the way at the last second "Nice one…" he half commented half joked with a grin before charging up his fist with ki energy "Now it's my turn" he said getting into a ready stance.

The super squid then lunged its' other pincer at Jake but the crocodile guildmaster leaped upwards at the last second before lunging towards the squid.

"Hunter… FIST!" said the crocodile cowboy reeling back his ki energy powered fist before pushing it forward sending a giant white energy construct of a crocodile fist at the squid making it roar in pain while putting it in a daze.

"Now for a Roundhouse Strike!" he said executing an aerial roundhouse spin kick unleashing a white energy crescent wave at the super squid leaving a cut on its' head making it roar in pain.

"Followed by… Crocodile Slammer!" he said, his crocodile tail glowed with white ki energy before flipping forward and what happened next was the ki energy enlarged resulting in a white giant energy construct version of his tail to appear slamming it at the Squid's head.

"A~nd… Hunter Barrage!" he said unleashing a large number of ki powered punches at the super squid and with his added super strength, his attacks were even more powerful as they pushed the super squid back.

The super squid got even more angry before it swung its' two long tentacles at Jake in an attempt to smack him away like a bug while he was still suspended in midair.

But Jake only smirked as he raised up his hand like a knife as it glowed with white ki energy.

"Mega Chop!" he said unleashing a karate chop cutting the first tentacle clean off causing the super squid to roar in pain.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" laughed Jake landing on the other tentacle as he held on while the tentacle swung him around "Whoa now there squidy! How about calming down a bit huh?!" he said jokingly with a grin before leaping upwards until he was now in front of the super squid's face "Time ta finish this…" he said gathering ki energy into his hands as they started to form an orb.

Jake grinned as he reeled back his hands to his right ready to unleash his final attack.

"CROCODILE HUNTER!" shouted Jake as he thrusts his hands forward kame-hame-ha style releasing the orb which turned into a giant white energy crocodile about almost the same size as the squid as it roared and crashed into it taking it out as the squid let out what sounded like a pained groan before collapsing to the ground with a loud *BOOM!* while causing a small tremor.

Jake landed on the ground in an awesome pose. He lifted up his head looking at the defeated squid with a toothy grin "Aw~ yeah~!" he said in triumph.

A few moments ago…

Back with Diend, he and his summoned riders Build and Duke continued to duke it out (no pun intended) with Dr. Redigulozo as the mad scientist managed to keep up with them despite being outnumbered using his ridiculously huge powered up gauntlets.

"You think you can beat me just because you have the advantage in numbers?!" said the mad scientist blocking strikes from Build's Drill Crusher and Duke's Sonic Arrow and as well as laser shots from Diend's NeoDiendriver "I am Zoh Redigulozoh! The future genius scientist of the multiverse!" he declared pushing Build and Duke away as the two riders returned to Diend's side.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah we heard you like several times already…" said Diend in an uninterested tone which infuriated the doctor "You dare mock me!?" said the mad scientist pointing one of his gauntleted fingers at Diend.

"Yeah… I dare" he said casually making Dr. Redigulozo growl.

"CURSE YOOOOOOUUU!" he yelled madly as he charged in head on with a deranged angered look.

Diend just scoffed while taking out another card "Time to wrap this up, shall we?" he said inserting the into his driver.

ATTACK RIDE: CROSS ATTACK!

While he inserted the card into his driver, Build and Duke stood on either side of the blue rider and got themselves ready.

Build separated the drill from his weapon and inserted it via the drill tip to the port located on the side of the handle switching it into the Drill Crusher's gun mode. He then removed the fullbottle on the left side of his driver and inserted it into the slot of his weapon as a blue sigil of a tank appeared before disappearing.

READY GO~!

Duke on the other hand removed the lock that was attached to his belt and attached it to his Sonic Arrow.

LOCK… ON!

Diend and Build pointed their weapons forward while Duke pulled the notch handle of his bow taking aim as it made a pulsing/charging sound while yellow energy gathered into the tip of the bow as the bow's strings started to emit yellow lightning energy.

The three then fired a unison attack as Diend fired a blue laser shot while Build fired a blue energy orb and Duke fired a yellow energy arrow.

VOLTECH BREAK!

LEMON ENERGY!

The three attacks combined into an enhanced blue laser as they hit Dr. Redigulozo who attempted to block it while continuing to charge forward using his gauntlets but it was too overpowering as the combined attack caused an explosion sending him flying.

"AAAAAHHHH!" he screamed as he hit the ground with a yell of "OOF!" before letting out a groan.

Dr. Redigulozo managed to stand back up as he looked to see that his gauntlets were now totally damaged "W-W-W-WHAT?!" he said with wide eyes in disbelief 'I-I-Impossible! How can my indestructible inventions get destroyed like this?!' he thought in disbelief.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard what sounded like a loud echoing groan as he turned to see his super squid fall to the ground dead as it went limp while causing a small tremor as it's killer, Jake landed on the ground in a cool pose.

"N-N-NO! IT CAN'T BE! MY SUPER SQUID!" he said in shock.

"Aw~, that's too bad…" said Diend as Dr. Redigulozo turned to the treasure sniper and his summoned riders "Not so tough now without your big squid now, are you?" he asked mockingly with a grin behind his mask.

This earned a scowl from the mad scientist "BAH! Even without my super squid, I can still defeat you lot!" he declared as he pressed a few buttons on his backpack straps to summon more of his inventions… only for nothing to happen much to his confusion.

"Huh?!" he said pressing the buttons on his straps again in an attempt to summon more of his inventions. He desperately pressed the buttons again several times "Why… won't… it… work?!" he said frustrated when all of a sudden, sparks started to emit from his backpack.

"What the?!" he exclaimed in shock as he quickly removed his backpack and tossed it to the ground. The backpack emitted a lot of sparks before exploding leaving a pile of charred scrap.

"NOOOO! MY SUPER PACK!" cried out Dr. Redigulozo in dismay.

"Well now… looks like things have gone south for you have they doctor?" said the voice of Diend as Dr. Redigulozo slowly turned to see the treasure sniper rider tapping his driver on his palm with his summoned riders still present.

The mad scientist let out a loud resounding "*Gulp!*" as he nervously took a few steps back only for a bullet which served as warning shot hit the ground behind him startling the mad scientist while stopping him in his tracks. He looked towards the source of who fired the shot and saw that it was Jake Sobek wielding a Winchester 1873 Mare's Leg Rifle pointed at him.

"And where do you think you're going… oh so future genius scientist?" asked Diend mockingly with a tilt of his head to the side.

It was here that Dr. Redigulozo now realized that he was surrounded "W-W-Wha… What are you gonna do to me?" questioned the mad scientist sweating like bullets.

"What are we gonna do you say?" said Diend humming in thought before taking out a card "Oh nothing, just this…" he said inserting the card and upon extending the barrel, a hologram of a black bar with the words "Final Attack Ride" all in yellow capital letters with a black and yellow ring on the background appeared before the hologram was replaced by a the Diend sigil hologram in yellow with the words "Masked Rider Diend Final Attack Ride" on it.

FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-D-DIEND!

Diend pointed his weapon forward as nine blue holographic rings of cards appeared in front of the barrel as they spun around in place. Kamen Riders Build and Duke turned back into cards and joined the spinning rings as a humming sound was heard from the NeoDiendriver.

"Dimension… Shoot…" said Diend as he fired a powerful black and blue laser beam that went through the rings and straight towards Dr. Redigulozo.

"Mommy…" squeaked the mad scientist before screaming as he was engulfed by the powerful laser beam resulting in an explosion.

*KABOOOOOOM!*

When the explosion cleared, Diend and Jake went over to take a look and saw the mad scientist lying on the ground groaning in pain as his whole body was covered in soot while twitching and he had swirly eyes on him and his hair was all puffy. All in all, he was still alive.

"Y'know… you kinda went overboard with that Rhys" commented Jake looking at the mad scientist's twitching state.

Diend just shrugged "Meh… at least he's alive right?" he said.

Jake stared at Diend for a few moments before turning to the still twitching Dr. Redigulozo before saying "Heh… guess you're right" he said "Let's activate the homing beacon so that the boys from the top brass can come here and pick up our quarry" he told Diend.

"Right" nodded Diend "Make sure it's encrypted so that only those affiliated with the Celestial Nexus Patrol Alliance can find us" he told the crocodile guildmaster.

"Got it!" nodded Jake before taking out a device and pressed a few buttons on them before activating the tracking beacon that would trace their location.

Awhile later, around late in the afternoon, Jake and Diend now back to Rhys waited for the arrival of the ones who'll pick up Dr. Redigulozo who was currently restrained to a rock when they saw a portal appear high up in the sky and the three saw three objects came through it.

The three objects in question were blue and yellow space ships shaped like eight-pointed stars. These are ships called Star Blasters.

"Well, well, would ya look at that…" said Jake smiling in recognition.

"You know them master?" asked Rhys.

"Heck yeah I do!" said Jake turning to the treasure sniper in excitement "It's the Nova Corps!" he said excitedly.

The Nova Corps, an intergalactic military and police peacekeeping force of an interstellar hegemony of multiple alien species called the Nova Empire.

"You seem excited to see them considering our guild's reputation of being disliked by several dimension travelling police authorities due to the large amounts of criminals we have as members despite our guild being neutral" quipped Rhys.

"Yeah, well… thankfully the Nova Corps is one of those guys who are on the mutual side of things with us" said Jake "I helped them a lot back in my younger days before becoming guildmaster and our guild knows when not to mess with them" he said "Plus… I'm actually friends with one of them" he added.

"Really?" asked Rhys a bit surprised.

"Really" confirmed Jake "It took a while but he trusted me in the end" he said "And besides, they aren't the only ones among the Celestial Nexus Patrol Alliance who are in mutual terms with us" he added.

"You think your "friend" is among those three up there right now?" asked Rhys looking at the three approaching Star Blasters.

"Don't know… maybe?" said Jake with a shrug making Rhys sigh.

The three Star Blasters landed in front of them as three individuals exited the ships and approached them.

Two of the three individuals were Nova Corps Corpsman clad in the Nova Corps uniform composed of grayish blue long sleeve jackets with black shield shaped shoulder pads with red insignias that are shaped akin to downward arrows on either pad under a dark blue and yellow striped armored vest with three yellow orbs connected in a V formation on the upper chest area, dark blue bracers, black gloves, grayish blue pants with black thigh pads and tucked into a pair of black boots, worn on their heads are dark blue helmets with yellow circles on the sides, grayish blue top and red feather shape-like patch in the forehead part of the helmet and yellow eye visors and their mouths exposed, mounted on their right arms are arm mounted dark blue double barrel sidearm blasters and both wield Nova Machine Guns.

Leading the corpsman was the third individual who's a middle-aged man with short brown hair, fair skin and brown eyes and is clad in the same uniform as the Corpsman excluding the helmet and the red insignia on his shoulder pads are that of a cross depicting his rank as Denarian, a higher ranking than Corpsman. This middle-aged man is Rhomann Dey, a high-ranking officer of the Nova Corps.

"Well, well, what do we have here…?" said Dey with a smirk as he and the corpsman approached Jake, Rhys and the restrained doctor "If it ain't the crocodile bounty hunter, Hunter Sobek himself" he mused recognizing the former.

"Ah~! Rhomann~, it's been a while man!" said Jake as he and Dey walked towards each other and shared manly hugs "How long has it been hmm? Five? Ten years?" said the guildmaster starting some small talk.

"Yeah, I lost count myself during the past years since the last time we met but I have to admit, it has been long" said Dey.

"Ee~yep!" agreed Jake with a nod "Last time we met, you were just a Corpsman and look at ya now… you're a Denarian" he commented.

"You can thank a certain "Star Lord" for that and I also heard that you became the new guildmaster of your guild last year" said Dey.

"I sure did" nodded Jake "The paperwork's a pain though…" he said causing the both of them to chuckle a bit.

Rhys and the two Nova Corpsman looked on surprised that they're talking so casually with one another.

Jake then cleared his throat "Anyway, as much I'd like catching up on old times, let's get down to business" he said.

"Right" nodded Dey returning to business "I assume you got the criminal subdued and restrained?" he asked professionally.

"We did" nodded Rhys getting the three Nova Corps officers' attention as they turned to him "He's right over here" he said revealing the tied-up doctor.

"Well, looky here…" said Dey as he approached the restrained mad scientist with crossed arms "We've been trying to get our hands on you for a long time now" he said as the mad scientist glared at the Nova Corps Denarian "Ain't that right Dr. Ridiculous?" he asked casually.

That received a growl from the mad scientist "IT'S REDIGULOZO! I AM DOCTOR ZOH REDIGULOZO!" he shouted "AND I AM THE MULTIVERSE'S FUTURE GENIUS SCIENTIST!" he declared.

"Hmm… noted…" nodded Dey unfazed "Dr. Ridicule, also known as the "Evasive Mad Scientist", by the authority of the Nova Corps and the Celestial Nexus Patrol Alliance… you're hereby under arrest" he said.

"MY NAME IS DR. REDIGULO-!" shouted the mad scientist but was ignored as Denarian Dey turned to one of the Corpsman "Corpsman, confine him" he ordered while the mad scientist continued to rant unaware of what's in stored for him.

The Nova Corpsman nodded before he approached the ranting mad scientist. He holstered his machine gun on his back and pressed a few buttons on a wrist mounted device on his left wrist.

"Huh?" said Dr. Redigulozo stopping his ranting and took notice of the strange device "What's that?" he asked.

He didn't get an answer as the Corpsman pointed the device at him and called out "Confinement Ray!" sending a yellow flash beam at Dr. Redigulozo causing him to scream in shock before he disappeared from his restraints and in place of the mad scientist was a silver metal card which fell to the ground. The card had a yellow insignia of the Nova Corps which is that of a four-pointed star with two slanted spikes on either side of the lower top part of the cross located on the upper left corner of the card, a barcode on the lower left corner and the words "Containment Card" in capital letters on the lower right corner of the card and on the back of the card was the same Nova Corps insignia and finally, sealed inside the card was none other than the mad scientist Dr. Zoh Redigulozo as said mad scientist was looking around where he was until realizing that he's been put inside the card.

"What…?! What…?! WHAT?!" he exclaimed in disbelief as he started to bang the inescapable card "LET ME OUT OF HERE! I AM ZOH REDIGULOZO! YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO MEEEEE!" he shouted hysterically as the Nova Crops officer picked up the card.

"Prisoner secured sir" he told Denarian Dey.

Dey nodded "Gotta thank those guys from SPD for sharing their technology with us, makes things easier for us at Nova Corps in transporting criminals" he commented.

"Ee~yep! And I don't want to end up in one of those things myself" said Jake adding his own two cents.

"Alright then, I guess this means it's time you receive your pay then?" said Dey turning to the crocodile guildmaster who nodded.

While Jake was occupied with receiving his and Rhys' bounty from the Nova Corps officer, said treasure sniper was on a private conversation with one of the receptionists Sella via his wrist watch's communicator.

"The master and I are done with our mission Sella. We'll just receive our pay and we'll be on our way back to the guild" he informed her.

"Right! Thanks for informing me Rhys, we're just about done here, so I'll inform everyone that you and master are on your way here" she told him.

"Right!" nodded Rhys.

A little later, after a little small talk and receiving their payment for capturing Dr. Redigulozo, the Nova Corps departed as the three Star Blasters rose up in the air.

"See you around Sobek" said Denarian Dey through the speakers of his Star Blaster "Stay out of trouble now or we'll have to end up taking you in" he said half-jokingly.

"Don't worry Rhomann, I will" said Jake through his wrist watch "And if one of my guildmembers does cause trouble for you in the future, I'll make sure to file in a letter of apology for ya guys! Ha ha!" he said half-jokingly.

"Make sure you do if that ever happens…" replied Dey "…If ever" he added before he and the other Star Blasters took off towards a newly opened portal as Jake and Rhys watched as the three ships entered through before the portal disappeared.

"Ah~!" said Jake as taking a few stretches "Man… that was one heck of a job!" he said.

"Indeed master" nodded Rhys cracking his neck and circling his arms "Shall we return to the guild?" he asked.

"Ee~yep! After going through with that fiasco, it would be nice to head back home to the guild and get some R&R" said Jake.

Rhys nodded before pressing a few buttons on his advanced wrist watch and from his wrist watch's pocket dimension, a bike appeared in front of him.

The bike in question was a modified Honda DN-01 with a white, black and blue paintjob and it was themed after Diend with said rider's personal insignia in blue on either front side of the bike. This is Rhys' personal bike the Machine Diender.

Jake also pressed a few buttons on his watch and like Rhys, it also summoned his mode of transportation.

It was a Honda XR230 Motard with a black color scheme and it was equipped with hidden machine guns on the side of the front wheel.

The Shadow Fist Guildmaster and Guildmember mounted their bikes before riding onward.

"Activate Warp Portal Rays and lock onto the coordinates for Shadow Fist Guild HQ" said Jake as the two activated said device as they fired two purple beams ahead of them which turned into one portal and the two entered through and after a few seconds, the portal disappeared without a trace.

"Oh~ bravo! Bravo! That was superb!" said Nexus Lupin clapping his hands after watching Jake and Rhys enter the portal from his seat "I guess this wraps up things for today" said the phantom thief as he stood up and made his lawn chair disappear. He then took notice of the readers leaving "Oh no! No! No! Don't leave yet" he said stopping the readers from leaving with a shake of his finger "I didn't say that the chapter's over yet" he said "Allow me to take you to where Jake and Rhys have gone to" he said before snapping his fingers as everything turned all white.

Later, back at the Shadow Fist Guild HQ, it was currently sunset and it was here that Jake and Rhys arrived out of the portal and parked their rides inside the Tech Shop.

"Man… it's good to be home…" said Jake with a sigh.

"Yep, it sure is master" replied Rhys with a nod as he and Jake exited the tech shop and went towards the guildhall.

"Huh… things have gotten quiet here…" said Jake stopping in his tracks upon taking notice of the silence "…a little too quiet" he quipped.

Rhys didn't say anything as he secretly tweaked on his wrist watch and sent a message to a certain someone to get ready.

"Ya comin Rhys?" called out Jake taking a couple of steps towards the guildhall but he didn't hear any reply "Rhys?" he called again only to hear...

ATTACK RIDE: INVISIBLE!

"Huh?!" exclaimed Jake upon hearing that before turning to where Rhys was only to see that he disappeared much to his shock.

"What the?! Rhys! What's the big idea?!" Jake called out to the treasure sniper while looking around but he didn't get a reply.

"This ain't funny ya know!" he called out but got no reply.

"Ugh~, fine! Be that way!" said the crocodile guildmaster in frustration before heading towards the guildhall.

Once he entered, Jake arrived at the lobby area where there were some chairs, sofas and tables and as well as a receptionist desk, only there wasn't any receptionist present.

The place looked practically empty... well, almost empty because when Jake looked around, he saw that there was someone sitting on one of the chairs.

Said person was young woman about 30 years old with shoulder length brown hair that turns to violet at the end swept on her right side with parts of her hair in a buzzcut on the left side and at the back, light brown skin, a mole under her left eye, one shaved line on either of her eyebrows, slim build and violet eyes. She was clad a dark gray and purple accented high-tech infused sleeveless jacket with an oversized collar over a dark gray, silver and violet accented short sleeve dress, high-tech infused violet and dark gray elbow length gloves, black and violet suit pants with boots, a belt strap around her jacket and finally she has some cybernetic implants on the buzzcut areas of her head that glows neon violet, circular earrings on her left ears and she also has violet eyeshadow and violet lipstick on her lips. This is Sombra, a hacker and a member of the Shadow Fist Guild but she also happens to be a member of a terrorist organization known as Talon but she's mostly part of the former which makes her a double agent.

Sombra was currently seated on one of the chairs reading something on a holo-screen when Jake took notice of her.

"Hey Sombra!" called out Jake in greeting, getting the hacker's attention as she turned to him.

"Oh! Master, welcome home!" greeted the hacker with a Mexican accent as she made her holo-screen disappear with a wave of her hand and stood up from her seat and approached him.

"What's going on here Sombra? Everything's gone quiet and nobody but you seem to be around, where is everybody?" asked Jake.

Sombra made a hidden smirk before turning around "Why don't you follow me and you'll find out" she said cryptically before walking towards the direction that led to the tavern hall.

"Ugh~, you know I don't like it when I get those kinds of replies…" groaned Jake in exasperation before following the hacker.

"Just follow me amigo and you'll get your answers" said Sombra with a casual wave making Jake sigh but followed none the less.

A little later, the two arrived at the door that led to the tavern hall as Sombra stopped in her tracks in front of the door before turning to face Jake "Answers are right behind these doors compadre!" she said pointing her thumb to the door.

"Huh? Are you sure?" asked Jake a bit skeptical about it.

Sombra in response mischievously tapped Jake's nose lightly and said "Boop!" before disappearing into pixels much to the latter's shock.

"Aw, c'mon! First, I come home to a quiet guildhall, then Rhys disappears on me and then I find the guild almost deserted and now Sombra disappears on me?! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" he shouted hysterically.

The sound of muffled laughter was heard on the other side of the door and Jake heard it much to his annoyance.

"That's it!" he growled while taking out his sawed-off shotgun and mare's leg rifle from within his duster "I'm gonna get y'alls punks and teach ya wha happens when ya annoys me!" he declared while spin-loading his mare's leg rifle with one hand before charging towards the door.

"Ready or not varmints cause here I come!" he shouted before charging towards the door.

On the other side of the door, the sound of charging feet was heard before a muffled voice cried out "HEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRREEE'SSS…" before the door was kicked open revealing Jake Sobek "JAKEY!" he shouted before pointing his guns forward, only to see that the lights in the tavern hall were out making the room dark much to his confusion.

"Huh?" said Jake with a question mark on top of his head "Who turned out the lights?" he said as he walked forward.

Suddenly, the doors behind him mysteriously shut closed behind him making the room completely dark making things unseeable…

…Well, not in Jake's case "…Okay, very~ funny guys, even with the lights out, I can still see just fine" said Jake using his crocodile night vision to see as he looked around "What's with all the decorations hanging in the hall?" he said taking notice of said decorations when he took notice of a certain banner "What's that say…?" he wondered narrowing his eyes as he started to read it "Happy… 49th…" he said but just when he was just about to read the rest, the lights all of a sudden turned on.

"YEOW! WHO TURNED UP THE LIGHTS!" exclaimed Jake, covering his eyes due to the sudden brightness of the lights.

*POP!* *POP!* *POP!*

"Huh? What?!" said Jake in confusion as he started to see streamers and confetti fly everywhere in his line of sight.

"SURPRIIIIIIIIIISE!" exclaimed a large number of voices much to Jake's shock. In front of him was the whole Shadow Fist Guild including Rhys and Sombra "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASTER!" they all cried before cheering loudly with whoops and whistles.

Jake just stared wide eyed and slack jawed for what felt like hours before he snapped out of it "Doh~ of course! It's my birthday today, I shoulda known…" he said slapping his forehead forgetting about what today was.

This caused most of the guild to laugh at their master's forgetfulness.

"Oh master…" said Georgianna "Ginny" Grace giggling in amusement.

"Of all the days, how could he forget his own birthday" mused Lauretta "Laurie" Len crossing her arms while shaking her head with a smile.

"Happy birthday master!" said Sella as she approached Jake while carrying a cake in her hands with lit candles.

"So that was why all of you were acting all funny today" said Jake turning to Sella "Some of you acting all nervous whenever I asked something, you suddenly letting me go out on a job and all that sudden disappearing" he listed off.

"*Giggle!*,apologies master, but it was the only way to distract you while everyone at the guild prepared for the party" explained Sella.

"And they had sent me to keep an eye on you when my last job was done, so apologies for disappearing on you like that master" said Rhys.

"And not ta mention, they invited us fer the shindig" said a sly southern accented female voice.

Jake turned to the source of the voice and was surprised to see who it was.

It was a young woman in her late 30s with short white hair, pale skin, a mole above the right side of her cheek, slim build red lipstick lips and red eyes. She's clad in a furutistic-esque cowgirl outfit composed of a black sleeveless twin tailed longcoat with a insignia of a winged skull with chains and a lock connected to two banner-like ribbons that with the words "Deadlock Rebels" in capital letters with two stars at the corner of the bottom located on the back of the coat over a white long sleeve button up shirt with a red necktie and a gray vest and the sleeves halfway rolled up, a tattoo of the deadlock insignia on her left forearm, a gold bracelet on her left wrist, a gray futuristic looking bracer on her right forearm, a pair of black fingerless gloves with gray futuristic looking armor on the top of the palms, a black and dark gray futuristic looking shoulder pauldron with orange light accent on her right shoulder, a pair of pants with a pouch strapped on her right thigh, bronze knee armor, black and bronze knee length heeled combat boots, a belt with bombs strapped around her waist, a black Stetson hat with a gold winged object in the middle worn on her head, silver skull shaped earrings and strapped on her back was a futuristic looking lever-action rifle. This is Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe, otherwise known as Calamity Ashe or just Ashe.

Accompanying her were five individuals composed of three identical male triplets and two robotic humanoids called Omnics.

The triplets had fair skin, slim and skinny build and blue eyes and they all had green bandanas with the deadlock insignia covering their lower faces.

One of the triplets was clad in a white vest with silver armor at the back, a pair of white pants with a studded belt around his waist that carries a brown pouch on the left side and a bowie knife sheathed on a brown leather scabbard strapped on his right thigh, gray shoes, black armored fingerless gloves, a white helmet with a design that of two eyes and sharp teeth worn on his head and a pair of goggles worn over his eyes, some tattoos of sigils of the Protoss from Starcraft on his arms and finally a futuristic looking rifle magnetically slung on his back.

The second of the triplets wore a similar outfit as the first but the color of the pants and vest was color gray and he had a strap full of shotgun shells hanging on the right side of his belt and his helmet was gray with spikes on them, some tattoos of sigils from the Terran Dominion from Starcraft on his arms and finally a futuristic looking double barrel pump-action shotgun magnetically slung on his back.

And the third of the triplets just like his brothers also wore the same thing but with the vest and pants being color black with the lower parts of his pants turning gray and his shoes were black, his helmet was black with his goggles currently attached to them, tattoos of sigils from the Zerg from Starcraft on his arms and a pair of futuristic dual pistols holstered on a pair of black holsters on either side of his belt.

These three are P.T., Terran and Zeke also known as the Deadlock Triplets.

The first Omnic was very tall and had a burly muscular appearance with green optics, two green glowing dots on his forehead, green glowing parts on his chest and arms and a gunslinger style mustache. He's clad in an open black fur framed vest with the deadlock insignia on the back, a pair of pants, silver knee armor, black and gray boots and a black bowler hat with a spade button on top of his head. This is B.O.B., Ashe's butler and muscle of the group.

And the second Omnic had a lanky looking appearance with gold elbow parts and gold rings on his forearms, four light blue dots on the forehead and three glowing optics: two blue ones on his left and a green one on his right. He's clad in a black vest with the deadlock insignia on the back with a green hood, a pair of pants with a belt carrying sniper bullets around his waist and silver knee pads and shoes and slung on his back is a futuristic sniper rifle. This is Bars, the sniper of the group.

All of them including Ashe are known as the Deadlock Gang, an outlaw group of thieves with Ashe as the leader and close friends of the Shadow Fist Guild, specifically Jake.

"Jake Sobek…" greeted Ashe in a smooth tone "Been awhile…" she said with a sly smile.

Jake just stared for a few moments before smiling "Well, well, well…" he said "If it ain't Calamity Ashe herself!" he greeted as he let out a hearty laugh.

"C'mere big guy!" said Ashe as she and Jake shared a friendly hug.

"How ya doin Ashe? Been doin some big heists lately?" asked Jake.

"Been doin fine Jake, no big heists as of late but it was nice of one of yer receptionists ta invite us to yer birthday and me and the boys wouldn't miss it fer anythin else" said Ashe.

Jake let out a cheerful laugh "Well, glad you and yer gang could join us!" he said giving Ashe a friendly slap on the back which thankfully wasn't hard.

Ginny giggled "Alright then master, make a wish and blow the candles" she said as Sella went to Jake with the cake with lit candles facing the crocodile guildmaster.

Jake bashfully chuckled "Aw, c'mon Ginny, can't you, Laurie and Sella just call me by my name like always? We've been friends since I got you three into the guild" he said.

"Just make a wish and blow your candles already" said Laurie with arms crossed and a bemused smile.

Jake sighed but nodded none the less as he closed his eyes before blowing out the candles on the cake as everyone cheered while some clapped their hands.

"So, what did you wish for master?" asked one of the guildmembers.

Jake only chuckled as he turned to his guildmembers with a toothy grin "Ain't it obvious?" he said "I wish for everyone here to have a good time! So, let's PAR~TY~!" he shouted raising up his fist in the air as everyone in the guild cheered.

And so, the party commenced, every shadow fist guildmember along with their guests started enjoying themselves from enjoying some food to drinking booze to making conversation and even just fooling around.

In one table, we see Venom Squad making conversation with Blazer with food and drink on the table and Nui was clinging onto Scourge's arm all lovey dovey making the remainder of Venom Squad and Blazer to sweat drop until Sable's butler Cornelius Winfield approached their table and gave them some more food.

In another table, we see Embo chatting with Sniper, Bars, I and Am, The Gentleman and another individual.

This individual was a man with dark brown skin, black hair styled in dreadlocks and dark eyes with pink sclera. He wasn't wearing anything but a piece of black cloth wrapped around his waist and only covering his crotch and he had tribal markings painted on his body from his face, to his arms, torso and thighs, green grass-like band wraps on his lower legs and upper arms, black wristbands on his wrists and a green grass-like headband on his head. This is Jujunga AKA Deathblow, a bounty hunter.

They continued to chat while Embo's anooba companion Marok was by his master's side eating some food given to him on a plate on the floor.

They were then approached by four individuals to join in on the conversation. These individuals were humanoid aliens known as Sotoraggians with one of them riding on one of the other's shoulders.

The first one was clad in reddish jumpsuit under black armor with hints of silver, black fingerless gloves exposing the violet skin on his hands, purple pads covering his central joints, a black belt, black helmet with a metal ponytail-like part with a C-shaped ring at the back and four pink central lines to provide outlines for his face which are his eyes and mouth, black boots which are hooved shaped and finally a black and silver backpack. This is SixSix, a bounty hunter.

The second one was also clad in armor similar to SixSix but the colors are in reverse being a black jumpsuit and reddish armor with hints of silver, silver pads on his central joints, reddish and black boots on his hooved shaped feet, reddish and black fingered armored gloves, reddish belt, the mask of his reddish helmet having hints of black and a silver C-shaped ring and pink central lines to provide outlines for his face which are his eyes and mouth and a reddish, black and silver backpack. This is SevenSeven, SixSix' older brother and also a bounty hunter.

The third one was female and she was clad in a black jumpsuit under dark purple full armor and has a hoop feature at the end of her helmet, pink central lines on her helmet's mask, dark purple and black boots on her hooved shaped feet, silver pads on her central joints, black belt and a dark gray backpack. This is EightEight, SixSix and SevenSeven's older sister and also a bounty hunter.

And finally, the last one who was currently riding Six-Six' shoulders, a small female about the size of a toddler who's clad in armor similar to EightEight but light pink in color with a zip in front, a tutu wrapped around her waist and two extensions on her helmet resembling pigtails. This is TwoTwo, the youngest sibling of the four.

At the bar, we see Ashe making conversation with Revy while B.O.B. stood next to the former on standby while Laurie was currently manning the bar as she gave the two females a mug of booze.

On another part of the bar, we see the rest of the Lagoon Company along with Medic, Demoman, Engineer and Stranger drinking booze while chatting with each other while Spy was also manning the bar with Laurie.

At another table, Boris and Heavy were in an arm-wrestling match with Soldier, Bebop and Rocksteady along with a few more guildmembers watching and cheering for either side while Scout and Pyro were taking bets for who'd win.

"I'll bet that Heavy will win" said Rhys throwing in some money to Scout.

"Your funeral pally" said Scout taking the treasure sniper's money.

"I'll bet zat Monsieur Boris will win" said LaGrange throwing in his money to Pyro.

"Sure~" said Scout casually.

"Okay, here's all of your orders!" said Sella giving the Vreedle brothers and the Deadlock triplets who were all seated together on another table an order of food and some booze.

"Thanks fer thuh grub Sella" said Octagon as he and Boid received their orders.

"Enjoy the food!" she said before leaving to attend to other tables.

"Hmm, I never had one ah these calzones Octagon, how do they taste?" asked Boid taking a calzone from his plate.

"Beats me Boid… but I heard tha it's one tasty delicacy" replied Octagon also taking a calzone from his plate.

"We had some uh these before and trust me when I say that they're mighty good" said Zeke in a Southern accent as his brothers nodded in agreement.

"Really?" asked Octagon.

"Really" guaranteed the Deadlock triplets with a nod.

"Welp, here's goes nothin…" said Octagon as he and Boid took a bite out of there calzones. Suddenly their eyes widened upon the overwhelming taste "DELICIOUS!" the brothers said as they started to enjoy their food causing the deadlock triplets to chuckle in amusement before they started eating as well.

Meanwhile at the stage, we see Scaramouche playing his flute with a few other members playing instruments with the robot bounty hunter leading them.

At another table, we see Jake accompanied by Samuel "Locus" Ortez, Android 21 and Ginny as the crocodile guildmaster looked on at the tavern hall with a smile.

"Man… it sure is good to see everyone enjoying themselves" said Jake with a smile.

"Well, it is your birthday Jake and everyone does look up to you, you were after all, one of the best guildmembers before becoming master" said Ginny with a smile.

Jake sighed at that "Yeah… but in all honesty, the greatest master of all in this guild will always and forever will be… Master Cestus" he said sadly.

Android 21 looked down sadly while remembering a fond memory "Yeah… Dusk Cestus, also known as Shadow Fist,he was kinda scary and intimidating in appearance… but he was very kind to me after I was found by him and took me in as a part of this guild and that was when you befriended me Jake" said Android 21.

"Indeed" said Locus nodding in agreement "I remembered that he was more than a master to you" he said.

Jake nodded "Yeah… he was more of my mentor" he said "A father figure you could say" he added "Taught me everything I knew and he was one heck of a War Champion" he said. Jake then clenched his fist as if remembering a bad memory "Then came that fateful day when he went and betrayed us all... lured the whole League into an ambush…" he said with a sneer and venom in his voice "Many were lost that day and he even injured the master to the point he'll never fight again…" he said "He could've been killed… and I couldn't do anything to stop him…" he said with gritted teeth.

"It's not your fault Jake" reassured Ginny "Master Cestus reassured you and you did all you could" she told him "All of us did" she added.

"And regardless of what he did, he had no choice, he was manipulated Jake, his faction's lives were on the line and if he didn't do what he was told, his whole faction would've been killed" reasoned Android 21.

"I know, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he betrayed us…" said Jake "I'll never forget what he did to the master" he said "And I'll never forgive him…" he said "And… there are times when I'd think if Master Cestus made the right choice of picking me as guildmaster…" he said having some doubts about leading the guild in the previous master's stead.

Jake felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Ginny with a sad reassuring smile "Master Cestus led our guild well… and he chose you as the new guildmaster because he knew you'd lead us to a bright future just like how he did before you" she assured "And… despite your habit of sneaking out of the guild to take just one job, you've been leading us well so far" she said with a smile.

Jake sighed before smiling in return "Yeah… you're right" he said.

The party continued on as everyone continued to enjoy themselves.

Back at the Vreedle brothers and Deadlock triplets' table, the two sets of brothers were enjoying some desert which were two whole apple pies that they were sharing. Boid helped himself to another slice of one of the pies but when he was gonna lift it from the plate, he felt that it was somehow stuck for some reason.

"Huh?" said Boid in confusion while attempting to lift up the pie slice with the pie server but to no avail.

"What's wrong Boid?" asked Octagon as the triplets took notice.

"Doh~! She's stuck! Ah can't seem ta get em off!" said Boid as he attempted to lift the server with both hands.

"Careful Boid, you might end up sendin it flyin" warned PJ.

Fortunately, Boid managed to lift the slice off but unfortunately, he ended up sending the pie slice flying into the air.

"Uh oh…" said Boid as he, Octagon and the Deadlock triplets watched the pie slice fly upwards until it fell down and ended up landing on someone's head.

*SPLAT!*

"Doof!" exclaimed the victim as that caused almost everyone to stop what they were doing and looked towards the unfortunate victim. That unfortunate victim who got pie all over him was none other than Dan Mandel as he stood up from the table he and Chris Pearson were sitting on and he looked pissed.

"Grr… okay, who's the smartass who dumped pie on me?!" he demanded looking for the one responsible until he set his sights on the Vreedle brothers and Deadlock triplets who just stared in shock as the jerk took notice of Boid holding the pie server.

Dan growled, his face turned red in anger after finding the culprit while steam started to come out of his ears before he shouted at the top of his lungs with his arms raised up in the air "RHOMBOID VREEDLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEE!"

"Ah didn't mean ta do it, ah swear! It wuz an accident!" said Boid waving his arms frantically.

"An accident huh?! I'll show you an accident!" shouted Dan while he grabbed a bowl of stew and threw it at Boid who ducked, the stew flew towards the Deadlock triplets.

"Uh oh!" exclaimed Zeke as he and his brothers ducked just in time for the bowl of stew to fly past them. Unfortunately, the stew ended up landing on top of SevenSeven as the bowl hit the back of his head while stew stained his armor causing just about everyone to gasp in shock.

"G̴͎̓͌ä̶̱̜́͠ć̶̟̱k̷̙̚!̴̥̝͆̊" exclaimed SevenSeven in shock before he stood up from his seat and looked at his stained armor. He growled before turning to the culprit "H̴̡͒e̷̛̛̝̲y̵͕̰͊!̵̛̪ ̶̛̮Y̴̺̽͝o̶̖͆ụ̷͝ ̷̖̤̇̃d̴̬͍̅͂į̴̼͂̍d̴̬̯͒͗ ̶̨̗̇̔t̸̻̤̑̌h̵͕͓̒ấ̴̫̗t̵̻͒̽ ̴͇̏͘o̵͓̬͐n̵̖̆̎ ̴̨̟͗̑p̴̩̌̈́u̷̱̭͘r̶̫̐͊p̶̉ͅo̵̡̺̐̽s̸̤̱͝e̴̺̮̓̾!̴̮̜̊" he accused pointing a finger at Dan while speaking in his native language.

"Don't blame me, I was aiming for Vreedle number two here and besides, it's your own fault for getting hit!" retorted Dan.

"Uh, Dan" said Chris "Can you actually understand what he was saying?" he asked.

Dan turned to Chris and just shrugged "No not really, but I did understand his body language" he said bluntly.

"W̴̞̐͆ḧ̴̲̫́̓y̴͓̓,̷̪̥́͝ ̵̰͋I̸͖̅ ̴̧͚̾̀o̷̱͊u̷̫͂̇͜g̷̛͖̀ḣ̸̳ţ̴̇͆a̶̱͙̒-̶͓͐́!̴̨͑" said SevenSeven peeved as he charged towards Dan and tackled him to the floor before they were now engulfed in a dust cloud beating each other up.

"Ooh~, would ya look at that babe, looks like another rumble's happenin babe" said Scaramouche "And ya know what that means baby…" he said turning to the band and raised up his hands with his flute held like a conducting baton "And a one, and a two, and a three!" he said as the band played upon his command.

The dust cloud moved its' way to Boris and Heavy's table where it sent everyone flying.

"Hey! Boris was winning!" shouted Boris in irritation upon getting his match interrupted as he lunged at the dust cloud followed by Heavy who yelled out in frustration joining in on the fight.

And just like that, more members joined in until the Shadow Fist Guild tavern hall turned into an all-out brawl with people, food and objects flying everywhere.

"D̵̩̪̓͒o̸̮̔n̷̺͖͒̆'̴̦̇͒ţ̵͝ ̴̪͍̿l̶̯͊̀ő̷͖̖͌ȏ̶̮k̵̨̮͆" said EightEight covering TwoTwo's eyes.

"All of you need to be taught a lessssson!" said Camille Chameleon as the mutated duck/chameleon shapeshifted into a burly looking humanoid male duck with shaggy short brown hair and clad in a dark blue turtleneck shirt with rolled up sleeves under a brown vest and joined in on the brawl.

"Aw, man not again!" said Rokuro "Rock" Okajima hiding behind the bar along with Benny, Sella and other guildmembers who can't fight or just want to avoid getting caught in the brawl.

"The Gentleman would like ta point out how uncouth and pointless this chaotic squabble is" said the Gentleman hiding with them "So, the Gentleman joined you lot to avoid such madness" he said.

"Yeah, we get it…" said Rock with a sweat drop.

"All of you stop this brawl this ins-!" shouted Laurie demanding for everyone to stop before she was hit in the face by a pie. The pie slowly slid off of Laurie's face to revealing how messy it was as her eyebrow starting to twitch. She growled and shouted "THAT'S IT! I'M GONNA TEACH ALL OF YOU NOT TO THROW FOOD AT SOMEONE'S FACE!" she shouted before she brought out what looked like a rapier with a silver blade, green hilt and red jewel on it and leaped out of the bar and joined the fight.

"*Sigh~*, so much fer a relaxin drink…" sighed Ashe resting her cheek on her hand which was leaning on the bar table by her elbow as she watched the chaos unfold.

"Ahahahaha! That's just how things are at the guild these days!" chuckled Revy in amusement also watching the chaos with a wicked grin while she also had her cheek resting on her hand which was resting on the bar table by the elbow "Even before my crew joined in, the guild was always like this" she mused revealing that this was a normal occurrence at the Shadow Fist guild.

"Ya don't say…" said Ashe with a raised eyebrow while she reached for her drink but just when she was about to take a sip, the mug broke from a stray shot causing all the booze the Deadlock gang leader was about to drink get spilt.

Ashe growled in annoyance before pointing towards the chaos "B.O.B.! Do somethin!" she shouted.

B.O.B. nodded before narrowing his eyes while punching his hand with his fist and ran forward as he joined in on the brawl.

"Oh dear… Here we go again…" sighed Ginny as she along with Android 21, Locus and Jake watched the chaos.

Jake let off a hearty laugh "HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Eeyep! Just another fun day at the guild! Even at muh birthday!" he quipped cheerfully causing those with him to sweat drop.

Despite the sudden brawl, the whole party continued on and lasted until early morning.

The tavern hall was currently in a bit of a mess. Some of the tables and chairs were tipped or overturned, food was scattered everywhere and there were some guildmembers lying on the floor asleep and others were sleeping on some tables.

Blazer who was awake was currently sitting at the bar with a cup of coffee in front of him and he was without his helmet, coat and his gasmask with said gasmask sitting next to his coffee. Sitting next him was Laurie with her hair a bit of a mess as she yawned while she had a pack of ice pressed to her head, she then received a cup of coffee from Sella who was at the bar.

"Tough night, wasn't it Laurie?" said Ginny who arrived with a smile and joined the three.

"Indeed…" sighed Laurie "I'm the strict one here and yet… I let myself get my buttons pushed" she said before taking a sip of her coffee.

Sella just nervously chuckled in reply while Ginny just gently patted Laurie in the back in comfort. Blazer on the other hand just grunted as he took a sip of his coffee while he waited for a certain someone to arrive. He heard the sound of the tavern hall's doors open and turned to see Jake arrive as he let out a loud yawn while stretching his arms.

"Man! That sure was a fun time last night!" said Jake as he continued to stretch while those in the tavern hall slowly began to wake up.

"Good morning master" greeted Blazer.

"Mornin Blazer, I see you don't got yer mask on" said Jake as he sat next to him.

"Only while everyone else is still asleep" said Blazer as he put on his mask upon noticing everyone else waking up.

"Y'know, it's alright for you to show your face when you're here Blazer" said Ginny "No one's gonna judge you" she said.

"I'd… rather not they ask about my scar" said Blazer putting his hand over the left side of his face despite wearing his mask.

Ginny sighed "Oh, alright…" she said relenting but understood none the less.

"Blazer, we understand your reason for hiding your face but there'll be a time where you won't have to wear your mask all the time" said Laurie with Sella nodding in agreement.

"Indeed" said Jake also agreeing "We understand that asking about your scars remind you of your past but whatever happened to you has already long since passed" he said "You'll have to face it sometime in the future, that's the only way you can move on" said Jake.

Blazer thought about it before simply nodding "Alright… I'll think about it" he said as Jake and the three receptionists nodded.

"By the way, where's Ashe and her gang?" asked Jake taking notice of the lack of the Deadlock Gang.

"Oh, they left early before you woke up and returned home but Ashe did tell me to give her regards to you when you wake up" said Ginny.

"I see…" nodded Jake while Sella gave him his morning cup of joe.

"Master, there's something I'd like to give you" Blazer said getting Jake's attention "Really? What is it?" the crocodile guildmaster asked.

"It's kind of a gift from Don Agresta, I couldn't give it to you yesterday because of all the chaos that ensued" the gasmask wearing bounty hunter replied.

"Oho~! A gift from Mikey huh? Hehe, that takes me back during my days of youth" said Jake with a smile "So, what did he get me?" he asked.

Blazer didn't reply as he took out what looked like a bottle containing some kind of golden liquid and put it on the bar table confusing Jake and the receptionists.

"Uh… what's this?" asked Jake.

"Phantom Liquid" Blazer simply replied.

"Phantom Liquid?" repeated the four in confusion "Why would he give me this stuff?" asked Jake taking the bottle and examining it.

"For you to drink" replied Blazer shocking Jake and the receptionists.

"What?! Now, why would Don Agresta have master Sobek drink this strange substance?" questioned Laurie.

"Because it's required, so that master would be able to use this…" said Blazer as he took out the suitcase that he got from Don Agresta which was sitting next to him and put it on top of the bar table and presented it to Jake.

Curious, Jake put down the bottle and opened the suitcase with Ginny, Laurie and Sella wondering what was inside. When its' contents were revealed, Jake and the receptionists' eyes widened in surprise and awe.

"No way…" said Jake in awe.

The contents of the case was revealed to be none other than the Sclash Driver along with the Crocodile Crack Fullbottle which were the items that were once used by Sid Crowe. But that wasn't the only contents in the case, together with the two items were two Fullbottles, each having black top and bottom parts and were shaped differently. The first one was transparent with a red cap and the center was red and shaped like a phoenix. This was the Phoenix Fullbottle and the second one was color light blue with the bottle being slightly rounded and edgy, some sparkle star shaped areas and the center was shaped like a diamond. This was the Diamond Fullbottle.

"This is one of those drivers that Kamen Riders use!" said Jake looking at the items in awe before turning to Blazer "And Mikey wants me to have these?" he said in disbelief.

Blazer nodded in reply "Eeyep" he said while popping the "P" "Happy birthday master" he said "Also… Don Agresta send his regards" he added.

Jake turned back to the items and continued to stare at them in awe "I… I don't know what to say… I'm speechless" he said before chuckling a bit as he took the Crocodile Crack Fullbottle from the case "Although, I find it kinda funny, who knew that the rider powers I'd be getting would of course be based off of a crocodile" he mused with a toothy grin.

"What a minute…" said Laurie "Aren't you supposed to be exposed to Nebula Gas and have a hazard level of 3 in order to use this type of driver?" she asked making Jake along with Ginny and Sella widen their eyes in realization.

"Oh yeah… I guess you're right" said Jake putting down the fullbottle.

"And that was what the Phantom Liquid is for" said Blazer getting Jake the receptionists' attention "There's an alternate way for you to use that particular rider system and that's by consuming phantom liquid and you'll be able to transform right away without building up your hazard level which would take awhile" he explained as the four nodded in understanding.

"Huh… that's convenient" said Jake as he turned back to the items before turning to the bottle of Phantom Liquid.

The crocodile guildmaster took the bottle and removed the bottle cap "Welp! Bottoms up!" he said as he proceeded to put the bottle towards his mouth.

"W-W-Wait master! Are you sure it's a good idea to-!" questioned Laurie in concern, only for Jake to already start guzzling the liquid down his throat as he made big resounding gulps until the liquid was all gone as Jake slammed the empty bottle on the table and let out a long sigh.

"Phew~, nasty!" said Jake apparently not liking the taste making the three receptionists and Blazer to sweat drop.

"So… how are feeling master?" asked Sella.

Jake stayed silent for a few moments checking if anything strange was about to happen to him when he just smiled "I feel great!" he said much to three receptionists' relief while Blazer just nodded for he knew his master would be alright.

Jake then turned back to the items in the case before lifting up the Sclash Driver from the case "Ginny… Laurie… Sella…" he said getting the three receptionists' attention "I want all of you to gather everyone at the tavern hall once it's time to depart" he said "I've got a big announcement to make" he said with a smile.

The three receptionists just smiled in understanding and nodded.

Later, around midday, the whole guild gathered at the tavern hall in front of the stage as they chatted with one another wondering what they gathered for.

"Wonder what we were called here for?" wondered one guildmember.

"Yeah, and just when we were gonna depart this place" added another guildmember.

"Don't know, but I heard that Master Sobek was gonna make a big announcement" said another member.

"Do ye know what announcement that is Octagon?" asked Boid.

"Don't know Boid" replied Octagon with a shrug.

"Well, whatever it is babe, it better be good, bee-deep-be-doo~ba-dep! Bah!" said Scaramouche.

Blazer was the only one who knew what the announcement was about but stayed silent.

Every Shadow Fist Guild member continued to talk amongst themselves until they saw Jake Sobek and the three receptionists walk to the stage and stood in front of everyone.

Ginny clapped her hands getting their attention "Everyone! Thank you all for coming at such short notice" she said "As you all know, it's almost time to depart this world but before that, master Sobek wishes to make a big announcement!" she then turned to Jake and nodded before the crocodile guildmaster stepped forward as everyone listened.

"Everyone… I got some big news!" he said with an excited grin "Today… we're having a new Kamen Rider amongst our ranks!" he announced and that brought murmurs of awe and excitement among the guild.

"Whoa! A new Kamen Rider?!" said one guildmember.

"Now I'm stoked man!" said Bebop.

"Da comrade! Having a new Kamen Rider means that the guild has become even more powerful!" agreed Rocksteady.

"Ŵ̸̻̱ô̷͇̦n̴̘̝̂d̸̗̏̎e̸̼̙͂r̷̳̓̔͜ ̸̛̼̣̿w̵̻̌̈́ḩ̸̓̈́ó̵̮̔ ̵̱̜̕o̸̤͋͐ú̶̻͕̄ṙ̴͚̰́ ̷̲̠̏̾K̴̲̏͘ȃ̸̢m̵̭̬͂̚ë̷͍́n̴̢̐ ̵̭͘R̸̙̃̓ḭ̵́d̷̟͗̑ȩ̷̙͘r̵̡͉͂̀ ̴̗̲̂ỉ̷̼s̵͙̺̎͝?̶͐͌ͅ" said SixSix.

"I̴͙̊̈́ ̸͕͠ǵ̶͔͓̌ũ̷̮̈ͅë̵͈̀s̸͎̓ͅs̵̺͖̃ ̶̣͇̓̊ẉ̸̹̔͝e̵͉̎͘'̸̺̇r̴̹̝̒e̷̠̳͝ ̴̹͊ͅa̵̭̿͠b̴͚̹͒͛ǒ̸͉ű̸͇͒t̸̮̀ ̶̼̮̂̍t̴͔͍̚o̷̖͓̅ ̸͈̳̌f̸̬̰͗i̵̘̅̆ṅ̷ͅd̴̫̠͑͝ ̶̞̘͑̿o̶̳̔͠u̶͇̩̐͛t̶̻͎̽͘" said EightEight while she had TwoTwo sitting on her right shoulder.

"So, who's the new Kamen Rider boss?" called out a bounty hunter member.

Jake grinned "Well, believe it or not but the new Kamen Rider…" he trailed off before taking out the Sclash Driver and showed it to everyone "Is none other than yours truly!" he announced and that brought awe to everyone in the room minus some.

"Well, what do you know... the master got the driver that Don Agresta gave you Blazer" said Sable glancing towards Blazer

"Indeed" nodded Blazer.

"Oh yeah… I completely forgot about that" said Bebop remembering Don Agresta giving the Sclash Driver before he along with Rocksteady and those present that time left Crimson City.

"Da, I as well" agreed Rocksteady with a nod.

"This right here was a gift given to me by none other than my old friend, the leader of the Crimson Horns Don Agresta himself!" said Jake much to everyone's awe "Now I know what some of you are thinking, why would I get Kamen Rider powers when I'm already fine with the OP powers I already got, right?" he said.

Not waiting for an answer, he continued "Well, the answer's simple" he said "People get stronger every day and there's no telling if some of those people could surpass others… heck, there's also a chance they could surpass me, so it's obviously a no-brainer that we should always keep ourselves sharp" he advised in which some guildmembers nodded and took that to heart "Plus… it wouldn't hurt to get a new set of powers right?" he said jokingly causing almost everyone to let out a laugh while some such as Locus and the three receptionists sweat dropped.

"Anyway…" said Jake settling everyone down "I'm sure, those of you know how this rider system works right?" he said "But to those who don't, let me explain" he said "If you want to use something like this, you'll need to inhale a substance called Nebula Gas" Jake explained "Nebula Gas is kinda dangerous, so you'll need to have a high resistantce to it in order to be compatible with the rider system and it usually takes awhile, otherwise you'll end up becoming a monster called a Smash" he said.

"Thankfully, there's an alternative way that'll allow you to use the rider system without inhaling Nebula Gas" he said "And it's called Phantom Liquid and you can use the system right away after consuming the liquid" he explained.

"Yo boss! Does dat mean ya drank some a that phantom liquidy stuff?" asked Scout.

"That's right!" nodded Jake "And I have ta say that it tasted nasty, blegh!" he said shivering upon remembering the taste while everyone laughed at Jake's reaction.

"Hmm, I didn't know about that, I would've drunk that liquid instead of inhaled the gas that allowed me to transform into Killbus after building up a high enough hazard level" commented Scourge.

"And with that out of the way…" trailed off Jake while strapping on the driver.

SCL~ASH~ DRIVER!

"It's time for the debut…" he said taking out the Crocodile Crack Fullbottle "Of my Kamen Rider transformation!" he declared before opening the cap of the bottle.

DANGER~!

The bottle played Jaws-esque music as Jake inserted the bottle into his driver.

CROCODILE!

"Henshin!" announced Jake before pushing the wrench lever and a metal platform appeared below him and he was encased in a giant beaker filled with purple liquid while Ginny, Laurie and Sella took a few steps back.

WARERU! KUWARERU! KU-DA-KE-CHIRU!

Metallic crocodile jaws appeared beneath in between the beaker and "chomps" on the beaker shattering it revealing Jake in his rider form. The purple jaws of his helmet "chomped" the black sphere helmet head creating white cracks before two patches of the black glass shattered, revealing turquoise eye visors completing Jake's transformation as the new Kamen Rider Rogue.

CROCODILE IN RO~GUE! O~RAA~! *Woman Screams*

Everyone looked on in awe at their guildmaster's new form despite getting startled from the sudden scream.

Rogue lifted up his head as he looked towards his whole guild "My name is Jake Sobek, also known as Hunter Sobek, I am the guildmaster of the Shadow Fist Guild and Celestial Champion of the celestial goddess of war! But in this form… I am known as Rogue! Kamen Rider… Rogue!" he declared raising up his fist with pride as everyone cheered.

"Oh yeah! Way ta go master!" said a guildmember.

"With master Sobek now a Kamen Rider, there's no way we can be defeated!" declared another member.

"Da! Boris agrees!" said Boris.

"Amazing master! I really dig the armor, it really suites ya babe! Bee-dee-be-de-ba-boop! Whoo!" said Scaramouche.

"Master, how are you feeling?" asked Laurie as Rogue was getting a feel of his rider form before turning to the bluenette receptionist "I feel great!" he said.

Rogue then turned to the cheering crowd "Alright people, now that that's out of the way…" he said before swinging his right arm forward with his hand stretched out "It's time for all of us to depart!" he declared as the whole guild cheered in approval.

"Everyone, get to your stations and prepare for departure!" he said as all members scrambled to various areas of the guildhall.

Rogue turned to Sombra "Sombra, switch the base to mobile mode" he ordered.

The hacker nodded as she made some violet screens appear in front of her "You got it chico!" she said before pressing a few holo-buttons and the whole place started to shake.

"Here we go people! Whoo~!" said Bebop in excitement.

Outside the home base, everything started to shift. The tech shop and the dormitory began to sink to the ground until they were both below before metal hatches appeared above the two buildings, closing in the process. The guildhall started to shift as well as it began to move sidewards until it was on its' right side. It then started to rise upwards revealing to be part of a larger metal structure before metal-like casing started to surround the guildhall protecting it like a shell and the flag located on the tower retracted itself to said tower.

The concrete surface that the base was in also began to shift as it began to change shape, some parts of the concrete flipped over revealing markings that look akin to aircraft runways and helipads and as well as a purple sigil of the Shadow Fist Guild emblem at the center of the runway. A portion of the concrete began to rise up before twisting to the left until it was in a slanted position from a birds' eye view.

A small tremor began to occur as chunks of earth began to break on four corners of the currently transforming base as said base slowly began to rise up and the chunks of earth revealed what looked like four turbine-like structures attached to the base, only, instead of turbines, it was powered by what was called repulsor engines.

The base continued to rise up until it was high up in the sky revealing that the base has transformed into something akin to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, only it had a dark gray and purple color scheme with purple fist insignias on some parts. This was the Shadow Fist guild's mobile home base, otherwise known as the Shadow Cestus.

Back inside, just below the guildhall, we go to the Shadow Cestus' command center which looked similar to the one from the MCU as it had several control consoles occupied by several Shadow Fist Guild members who specialize in manning the consoles and huge glass windshield revealing the outside of the base and standing at the central console was Jake Sobek AKA Kamen Rider Rogue accompanied by the three receptionists as the former looked around the area to seeing that everything's going smoothly.

"Shadow Cestus' repulsor engines are stabilizing at one hundred percent" said one guildmember.

"Mobile base power systems are now at full capacity" said another member.

"All support systems are in the green" informed another.

"Everything seems to be in order master, we can depart when ready" said Laurie checking on her tablet and saw that everything was okay.

"Good" nodded Rogue before pointing forward "Shadow Cestus, activate warp portal ray! Next up, our next adventure!" he declared.

Two hatches opened at the tip of the Shadow Cestus' sides revealing beam-like devices as both lit up with purple energy and fired two purple beams as they created a huge purple portal.

"Shadow Cestus, take off!" said Rogue as the four repulsor engines tilted forward before activating allowing the mobile base to advance to the portal.

And as the base went through, the portal disappeared, taking the Shadow Fist Guild to places unknown.

*Clap!* *Clap!* *Clap!* "Bravo~! Bravo~! That was a great conclusion to this chapter!" said the voice of Nexus Lupin.

"Despite all the chaos at the start and also that brawl, Jake's birthday went up like a hitch and he's now the new Kamen Rider Rogue!" said Nexus "And that was quite the intro of some people I must say and it seems that the Shadow Fist Guild is actually part of something bigger" he added.

"Hmm… it seems that we're getting close to the end of this whole thing and by end, I mean the finale of this prelude story" said the Phantom Thief.

"Don't believe me? Then how about I give you a sneak peek" said Nexus with a devious chuckle as everything turned white.

Somewhere in the multiverse, we go to the far reaches of space where all was quiet…

Then from the darkness of the void... a fleet of spaceships revealed themselves into the light of space. The spaceships resembled WW2 German Kriegsmarine ships only futuristic and about the size of the UNSC ships from the Halo Universe and they were composed of three destroyers, two battlecruisers, two heavy cruisers, four light cruisers and one battleship which serves as the main flagship. They had black and purple color schemes and they had an insignia of what looked like a Celtic cross known as Odin's Cross on the side of the ships.

Inside the battleship's bridge, a mysterious group of soldiers were manning the controls while the captain oversaw the activity. The soldiers were clad in black and purple uniforms that resemble the Nazi Kriegsmarine's uniforms while wearing black fatigue hats while the captain was clad in a Kriegsmarine captain's uniform in gray, black and purple and he also wore a gray coat and a gray colored peaked cap with a black brim. The captain was currently looking at vastness of space as all he could see were a see of stars and nebulas.

He then heard the doors behind him open before turning to see four mysterious individuals who were currently shrouded by shadows enter the bridge.

The captain then did something akin to the Nazi salute but the difference was that he had his hand clenched into a fist instead of straightening it as he greeted the new arrivals who gestured him to at ease before the captain lowered his arm.

"Meine Führer" he spoke to the four individuals with a German accent "Our spy haz infiltrated ze planet's base vhere our objective lies" he informed them "Vonce he informs us of our success, ve eill strike" he said.

"Very good kapitän…" said one of the four individuals with a nod "Inform ze fleet to prepare for assault vonce our spy informs us of hiz success" he told the captain.

"At vonce mein Führer" said the captain with a bow. He then gave one last salute before turning to give orders to his crew.

The four individuals looked on towards the vast stars before one of them spoke "Vonce ve obtain our main objective… ve vill be vone step closer to our main goal…" he said with a wicked grin.

He then uttered something that couldn't be heard as the other three shadowed figures repeated what the first individual said while the mysterious fleet continued to sail across the stars waiting for their time to strike.

"Ooh~, I wonder who these people are?" said the voice of Nexus Lupin "They seem to be up to something… sinister…" he said ominously.

"Whatever it is… you'll have to find out next time…" he said.

"Auf Wiedersehen~!"

And that's the end of this chapter and as well as this two parter. Jake and Rhys' fight was an awesome one despite some slight weirdness but they managed to pull it off and we got to see the Nova Corps from Guardians of the Galaxy and if you're wondering about the appearance of their uniforms, I made it a cross between the Movie version and the 2015 animated version and I had Rhomann Dey keep a bit of that attitude he had towards others like when he arrested Star Lord in the movie and he's all buddy-buddy with Jake and not to mention, it seems the Nova Corps are a part of something bigger.

Also, we got ourselves a bit of background with the Shadow Fist Guild, particularly with Jake and it seems the guild is also part of something bigger.

Bet you were surprised to see more individuals part of the guild or in some cases associated with the guild such as the Deadlock Gang and I bet you might be surprised that Jake's become a Kamen Rider. And if you noticed, I added some glitch effects on the parts where SixSix, SevenSeven and EightEight would talk. Since technically, universal voice translators don't work on their species voices, I decided to add glitch effects as a way of them talking in their language so that us readers can understand what they're saying while those in the story who can't understand their language can't.

Lastly, I bet you're wondering what that mysterious fleet was and what sinister plot they're up to?

Well, you'll have to find out next time and as what Nexus Lupin said, stay tuned for the finale of this story.

Sadly, this'll be my last post for now. Due to some technical difficulties, I'll have to hold off on updating my story. So until then, I'll be taking a break for now. Expect my next update around late January or February next year 2023.
