Christmas Advent
Chapter 6-December 6th
After another long day; Mike walked into his house with the package in hand. It was heavy and wrapped up well. Curiosity got the best of him, so he opened it before changing out of his uniform. It was filled with Christmas cookies and candies. The s'mores cookies he loved, as well as peanut clusters and rock candy. There was a note on top of the treats and so Mike opened it first.
"You really should eat your dinner first."
Mike could only shake his head. He put another frozen pizza in the oven, already getting tired of his steady diet of them. What he wouldn't give for a good home-cooked meal. He could cook but cooking for just himself was not something he liked doing.
