Merrick placed the case on the floor with a thud.
"Be careful with those", Zen exclaimed, "you told me to be careful with them and I have been". Merrick sighed, "Why are you woman?"
Zen Aku looked at him " Helps blend in doesn't it?"
" Yea it does" Merrick said.
The entranceway was dominated by a central staircase that led to the upper levels. Directly in front of them was the kitchen, to their left was the main living room and to their right was another large receiving room. "
Jackson strode confidently up to the door, the group pushed the door open and stepped into the main hallway.
"Hello", Jackson called out, "Mr Howling Wolf".
They waited for a response but none was forthcoming, "Maybe he's not back yet", Sonny said to the others. Just then they all heard a creak from upstairs,
"Glad you made it back" Merrick began, he turned as Zen spoke, "Ah Rangers".
"Can you tell me why the Wolf org is a woman", Zack asked..
" Blending in" Sonny said
" Am I the only one disturbed by it?" Zack said.
Suddenly the alarm went off, " The mall is under attack" Merrick said as head moved towards the rangers as Zen shouted something in response, "She'll take that under advisement", he replied, "now let's go to the mall".
Amity Mall
Merrick's van screeched to a halt outside the main entrance to the mall and the five rangers bundled out of the vehicle. People were running for cover as the footsoldiers attacked nearby buildings, causing rubble to fall to the street below. Sensing that a group of people weren't running, the orgs turned around to face the rangers, "I'm starting to regret this decision", Jackson muttered.
"Alright rangers it's time", Merrick said from behind them.
"Are you not joining us?" Zack asked.
Merrick shook his head, "This is you battle", he replied.
The Rangers held up their morphers " Wild Access!", they called and pushed the crystal in the centre.
Four similar coloured beams of light shot into the air before engulfing the group in their respective colour. When the light cleared, four Power Rangers were standing ready for battle. Jackson jumped into battle with the same enthusiasm as earlier today, spinning in a tight circle, Jackson drop kicked a monster before Ryan shot the creature between the eyes with his blaster.
Sonny used some of her martial arts skills to deliver a roundhouse kick to a nearby monster before punching another in the stomach. Drawing out her bow, she finished those two off with a quick shots. The husky ranger decided on a different approach. Zack summoned his sai's. Using his swordsmanship he sliced through several monsters, leaving a heap on the ground. Jackson leapt into the air with his blade ready. Drawing a circle in the air he swung his Wolf sword and sent a powerful blast of green energy at the monsters, turning them to dust.
The two orgs gathered together.
" Let's bring them together " Sonny said, She connected her bow to Ryan's cannon, Zack attached his Dagger to Sonny's bow and Jackson placed his sword on top. The orgs looked at the Rangers fired a charged shot, the blast struck the orgs causing both to explode.
"Well done rangers", Merrick said to the others in congratulations. "Well that went well", Zen called out from behind Merrick. He jumped up in the air, startled by his adopted daughter.
"Don't do that", he replied, "and what are you doing here?"
"Came to see our handiwork in action", she stated.
"Well you could've helped me out earlier", Merrick began, "we're going to have a long talk when we get home. Consider yourself grounded for the next two weeks".
"Aww Uncle Merrick", she cried, "that's not fair".
The Rangers, Merrick and Zen headed back to the van and headed home.
