Christmas Advent
Chapter 17-December 17th
Danny's unit was now state-side; so Mike happily turned his resignation paperwork in. One of his last assignments would be welcoming them home for Christmas. The President was not happy but Mike didn't care. In seven days; he would be finding out who had been leaving gifts for him.
When he got home that day; he had a package of cookies and candies, along with a bowl of potato soup. No note but Mike didn't mind. He ate and headed in for bed, emotionally and physically exhausted after finally turning in his resignation.
